Colorful Gifts and Creepy Curses

Synopsis:	Reiko delivers a gift to Ikiko to share with Ayana! Then talks about a friend who is having trouble with some sort of jealous doll!?

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama has spent the better part of today seeking out Ikiko. She's been tiptoeing from class to class like some sort of orange haired , glasses wearing ninja. She's seem cautious however. She does occasionally look over her shoulder and frowns a moment as she seems to have some sort of bright yellow manilla envelope in her hand that seems to contain something slightly weighty.

She peeks around the corner annnnnnd--- there's Ikiko at her locker! (Perhaps!) as she tiptoes down the hallway and beams. "Ikiko! Hi! Been looking for you! Are um...."

"You okay?" she asks softly. Trying not to be specific about things first off. She carries that envelope in her hands in front of her, holding it close to her chest for a moment.

After the events of the other day, Ikiko is still fairly tired. Rest and a good meal helped, but it was still a struggle to stay awake in some of the more boring classes. At least it was easier to stay awake in music class! (Even better, some of her classmates finally started practicing!)

Ikiko turns from her locker as she hears Reiko speak up. "Okay enough," she says, covering a small yawn. "Just a bit tired; nothing that some good rest can't fix."

She blinks and looks at the envelope. "Wha'cha got there?"

Reiko Touyama ums and opens the envelope. "Three things, all the same thing-but..." she removes the items, The first two seem to be in some sort of plastic frame- the last in a laminate.

It's more or less, a lovely drawn picture of 'The Cute Wolf' and 'Black Fox' in a nice loving embrace, carefully done and signed with a little fish-koi signature. It's been colored- which is not something Reiko does just for any regular piece- with what appears to be prismacolors. It bleeds cute, adorable, and love. It DOES seem to be a high quality color copy however. There are two of them in the frames. "Um... ones for you. The others for you to give to Ayana... you know...... as a gift." she smiles! "Um..."

She hands over the thinner laminate piece. "That's the original." she says softly.

She beams! "I wanted to do something to try to make things better so..um that!" she beams.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko's eyes widen, staring at the beautiful artwork. She looks at the framed copies, then the laminated original, then back at the framed copies, and back and forth in rapid succession, her jaw dropped. Finally, she closes her mouth, then gently places the art inside her locker--

--and then she whirls around and glomps Reiko! "Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you~!!" she squeals, a beaming smile on her face. "I love it! And I'm sure that Aya-chan will love it, too!"

Reiko Touyama eek! She knew Ikiko would love it, because most people love her art! She was not ready for a SUPER Glomp though and almost tips over. "eek!" she beams and gives a hug back. "I knew you would but--- make sure Aya-chan gets her copy too~ So you can enjoy them together. I gave you the original in case Aya-chan does something silly with her copy." she says. "I just hope it helps...." she says silently. Then she releases the hug...

"Ikiko..." she whispers. "What do you know about curses...?" she mutters. "I um. made 'friends' with someone..." she says. "...and they have a jealous doll that cursed them..." she mutters.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
"I will, thanks," Ikiko murmurs to Reiko, giving the younger girl an extra squeeze before finally letting go of the hug. Having the picture around might cheer up the fox-girl -- or at the very least, be a constant reminder that there is someone who loves her.

Ikiko's eyes widen again for a moment, then narrow contemplatively. "I have basic knowledge about curses, and my family's specialty is lycanthropy, but we do have other texts we can use for reference," she muses. "I'd be willing to look into it, at any rate. Did they mention what the curse was about?"

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama frowns. "Something about that she stopped playing with it so it cursed her---but...." she mutters.

"Ikiko it's following me around because I made friends with her. It doesn't just stick to her..." she mutters. "She said that I'll probably be having a lot of bad luck soon---sometimes I see something out of the corner of my eyes---or hear a giggle..." she shivers.

"I don't want to tell you too much. It's not my place, but... would you be willing to come meet this girl with me?...."

She pauses.

"I do /not/ blame her for some creepy doll following me around! She just seemed so sad when she tripped over me by accident when--I was drawing that art..." she says softly. "Even when she told me about the doll, I stuck around and told her who I was... so she wouldn't be afraid." she says sadly.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata nods. "I'll do what I can," she promises. Which will also involve making a talisman to try to help reduce the effects of bad luck. "It might take some time, but if I can ask her about it, then I might be able to help solve whatever curse she's dealing with. Or at least havea better idea on who to ask, if it turns out that it needs more specialized skill."

She takes another look at the art, a happy smile on her face. She'll take it with her after school; for now, the locker is probably a safe place for it. "Where did you meet her?" she asks, gently closing the locker. "The sooner we start on this, the sooner we can solve it."

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama ums. "Well she's in the fifth grade here...." she says.

"Oh...do you remember. When I fell down the stairs..?" she asks. "That was the doll, too." she says. "So it was .. um. Down the hall actually..." she says.

"Um..it's Misa Sakagami. But...I wanna be there...when you approach her about it. Okay?" she asks. "She's shy. She's afraid because... apparently this happens to anyone she makes even passing good aquatinace with to a degree. This thing must be so jealous!" she says throwing her hands up in front of her.

"We...gotta try something. Right?" she asks.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata blinks for a moment. "That... explains a few things," she muses. So it wasn't just a magical girl thing that they were picking up on that day in August! Still, maybe being a magical girl will help protect against whatever the cursed doll tries to do!

Too bad her own magic levels are currently low.

She nods to Reiko. "Yup! Let's go see about helping her out," she agrees. "I'll hang back a bit until you can make the introductions."

Reiko Touyama beams! "Okay great!" she says as she gives the girl another hug. "Be well okay?" she says. "I hope that does help..." she hopes again at the pictures. She beams. "I'll call you when I can talk to her again." she says. "I didn't get her phone number." she says softly with a sigh.

She smiles. "You be safe okay?-- and remember. If you need help with anything..." she says softly. "I'll come!" she beams! "But that's always been the truth!" she says with a grin.

Then she begins to take off!

Ikiko Hisakata gives Reiko a quick hug before the younger girl gets out of reach. "Thanks again for the art!" she smiles back, letting go and watching the young artist head on her way.

Once Reiko has left, Ikiko looks at the art once more. "That is such a lovely feeling," she sighs happily, recalling yesterday's nap. But there's a hint of concern on her face as well: will her energy have recovered enough to help protect her by the time she meets Misa again?
