Synopsis:	Runealy, Hinote and Gaofelle have a talk about witches, home and pizza.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
There is bowls of chocolate all over the Waldian Household. Mostly red, foil wrapped hearts, some boxes of chocolate. This happens every year for Hinote Kagari, just this year he has like a whole team of knights and a princess to help him make it all dissapear than watch it go slowly bad and crumbly and stale five months down the line.

Maybe Valeria has the right idea about the 'Earthen Nobility' thing.

There is one heart shaped box that has not joined the others and he's staring down at it. It has some lovely flowers on top of it, even. He goes about obtaining a vase and filling it with water as he puts the flowers in there. He sigbs and rubs a hand through his face.

"Hey, Rune, you in the house?" he calls up as he stands in the living room placing the vase down on the table there.

"Anyone around today?" he calls out.

"Is Tomoe still here? I need to know because I'm probably making pizza tonight!" he calls out.

He's trying to keep a good act up. But even anyone can see through to see something is bothering him. It's his currently hesitant manner for sure.

He walks around. Checking things in the living room. Clean. Neat. No trash hiding. Perfect.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"I'm here," Rune calls from upstairs. "Not sure about Mami, so I guess make enough and if she's not here, we split the difference?"

She walks down several seconds later, looking around. "By the way... what's with all these boxes? They weren't here a few days ago, and now they are? I didn't bring them in, so... you know anything about them?" Runealy doesn't look angry or upset, just very confused as she stares over at Hinote.

Gaofele Doiru has posed:
Gaofele Doiru walks in from the yard. While there's still a while to go before the trees have leaves in them again, they still make for decent places for a forester such as himself to take a nap.

He nods at Rune's questions. "Lots of heart shapes," Gao remarks, looking over one of the foil-wrapped items.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari blinks at Runealy. "Oh....OH!" he says. "Right. It was Valentines Day. Girls give chocolate to boys they might like- and to friends. A month later on White Day, the boys return to the favor to girls they got chocolate from." he says. "I always dread this holiday because I have to keep a list." he asides with a sigh. "Or else you come off as rude." he says.

He sits down on the couch. "I can't eat all this chocolate, I'll probably obtain a stomach ache over the course of the month. So.. sharing it out in the house." he asides.

He pats the box in his lap. "Except this one. This one's mine. It's from Shinobu." he nods curtly.

He takes a deep breath. "I dunno if you know or not." he says. "--and to be honest it's been wretching at me for the past few days. So I'll just ask. Did Mami tell you the truth about 'Witches' and 'Puella Magi' yet?" he asks a bit glummly. He nods at Gao. "Hey Gao!" he says with a smile. "Anyone give you any chocolate?" he asks. "If they did, remember who!~" he says.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"I noticed that," Rune smiles at Gao's observation on heart shapes. "At first I thought it was something about home, but these are made from materials that don't quite match what we have unless it's for something really fancy. So that means..."

"Valentine's Day? That's not a holid..." A headshake. "Oh, an Earth holiday! Okay! So that's what all this talk about chocolate on the television was about?" She paces around, checking out some of the spare boxes - a quick glance is given to Hinote's reserved one, but she simply gives a "Got it" to that and has no plan of touching it - and then digs into one. It takes a few seconds for her to figure out how to open it, but she tries one...

...And makes an appreciative "Mm!" Chocolate is a thing they have back home, but not in the sheer massed quantities that this holiday presents. Sharing the love looks to be a fun little event for around here. "Have you tried this yet, Gaofele? And come to think of it, are you settling in okay? I know it's not quite the forest, but..."

Her gaze lowers a little as Witches are brought up. "Yeah... I found out a few different ways. Scary stuff, really dangerous, but apparently they have a way to undo it now if the 'Witch' hasn't been killed yet. It's new, very new. Just glad it's there. You can imagine how scared they got before then!"

Gaofele Doiru has posed:
"The chocolate is good," Gaofele nods. "And... I'm adapting well enough, although I'm looking forward to spring."

He listens to Hinote and Rune, making notes on what they say. Because of the transfer, he wasn't known enough to get chocolate, but knowing about it might come in handy for next Valentine's Day. And the fact that there's now a cure for Witches is a good thing; dealing with them was never fun.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari asks. "So that's why Tomoe was hanging around, eh? Okay I can get that. I'd scared too if I knew I was gonna turn into some sort of horrible monster eventually..." he blinks a bit. "There's a way to /undo/ it!?" he asks a little wide eyed- his heart fluttering a bit. "Okay... but..." he sinks a bit. "That kinda leads me back to my concern." he says.

"What are we going to do about Witches now?" he asks. "Do we fight them? Do we subdue them? Do Puella Magi still need the Grief Seeds...?" he asks. "How can we save them but--- also not turn them into Grief seeds so others can live...I don't..." he just shakes his head and sighs.

"Are we meant to feel bad about the witches we /did/ already fight and handle...?" he asks. He asks perhaps a little guiltily.

He looks to Gao. "Oh... right." he says.

"...So. Witches are.. like. Corrupted Puella Magi." he says to Gao softly. "They fall and thier soul gem turns into a grief seed..." he crosses his arms and sighs.

"I mean. Priority is making sure they don't hurt people. I get that. But... do we fight them into a grief seed now? or let them run away or what?..." he asks.

"So.. how do you turn one back? I'm worried for my friend." he says softly.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"Spring? Oh, right! Guess that would help a lot for plants, wouldn't it..." It took Rune a few seconds to realize the link there. "When it's here, what're you going to do?" She's curious what sort of plans Gaofele might have.

Yet Hinote keeps her thoughts also grounded in more pressing concerns. "How are we supposed to feel about that? I asked myself the same thing a lot of times, but we had no choice back then. The solution didn't seem to exist until a few days ago! It's... yeah, it stings to realize the 'monsters' we were fighting were just people like us who had something go wrong, but..." Several gaze-lowered headshakes follow. "Nobody can really get after you about that. Do we fight them now? That really depends. The one I saw get help had to be weakened first so it - she," Rune corrects herself on that pivotal point, "couldn't hurt you more while they were saved. I don't know if you know Madoka, and you HAVE to be careful who you tell this to because I'm sure there are monsters who would want to target her, but... she can bring them back."

Her eyes suddenly snap up, facing Hinote intently. "I saw it happen. It was amazing!"

Gaofele Doiru has posed:
"Probably start growing some plants in my room," Gao shrugs. "The trees outside are nice, but they'd look better with leaves on them."

He frowns slightly at Hinote's explanation of Witches, then nods as Rune describes how the reversal works. "Good to know," he agrees.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari listens. "So... Madoka. Okay. I'll remember that." he says, commiting this to memory. He sighs. "Well. As long as Puella need Grief Seeds I'm going to keep smashing into them I guess." he sighs a bit. "Unless Madoka is available at the drop of a hat..." he mutters. "She can't be everywhere at once I'm sure." he says.

He sighs and rubs his face. For some reason this decision is harder to make than smashing into people and also draining thier energy.

He nods at Runealy with a smile. "I'm sure it was! I'm just... worried." he says.

He sits up and crosses his arms. "I suppose I also wanted to ask about what we're doing about Virtue. We still going through with joining them?" he asks. "It seems like it'd be best. We have some resources to give back now..." he says motioning at the house. "...and I think it'd be a nice gesture after all we've been through." he says.

He opens the box on his lap and picks up one of the chocolates. He pops it into his mouth. "Growing plants you can do during the winter... ashame this place doesn't have a conservatory or a greenhouse attached to it." he says. "My mom keeps a small garden on the roof of the townhouse." he says. "Though the storm messed it up." he scowls.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"Though if you do feel bad about it..." Rune nods to Hinote, then Gaofele, making clear she's talking to both of them, "Come talk with me, okay? I know we all fought them at one time or another, and knowing this about them... wow. I'm worried too, but we'll just have to figure out what we can on the spot. It's really going to depend on whether you can reach Madoka beforehand."

She tries to sidetrack herself for a few seconds, smiling at the thought of plants. "What kind? Ones from home, or something from around Tokyo?"

Virtue ends up being another fine distraction to ponder, as Rune pops another chocolate and then heads to a couch. "Well, that's a choice we'll all have to make for ourselves. I can't command anyone to join them. But speaking for myself? Yes." A single, sharp nod. "I plan to get in touch with them soon about that. They helped us, we've been helping them, we may as well just outright agree to be friends as far as I'm concerned!" This at least is happy news, and she's smiling about the possibility.

Gaofele Doiru has posed:
Gaofele Doiru munches on a chocolate as he contemplates Rune's question. "Probably ones from Tokyo," he muses. "Fewer complications that way."

The conversation drifts to Virtue, and the forester leans against a wall as he thinks about it. "Might as well join them," he nods. "It's easier to help other out when you have a way to get in touch with each other, and sharing information is definitely the first step towards that."

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari closes his box and smiles. "I'm in, too. So-- when you speak to them and if I'm not there- speak to them on my behalf too. We're in this together as far as I'm concerned, to sort of-- sit out on that would be pretty damn lame of me." he says.

He sighs. "Okay. So--- handle witches. If we can get in touch with Madoka, do that. Nrg, I need her number then." he mutters. "Otherwise... do our best." he says.

He sighs and crosses his arms.

"I'm just really worried for my friend. I care about her a lot... you know, but... this whole. Witch thing has... well it's upset her. She's scared. She's been... having visions and considering she can-- sort of see the future in a sense, I'm worried." he says crossing his arms.

"Like.. she saw me die once already--- then she stopped that from happening. It's really strange." he says.

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"That makes sense," Rune cedes the point to Gaofele's expertise on which plants to raise and where to do it. "And not just 'information'... think about it. Suddenly we have a lot more friends. People who can show us around Tokyo, who can go out camping with us, or come over here!" This idea has her visibly excited, and she wants to share that with him.

Yet Hinote brings her down some, with good reason. "So... she sees possible futures? I'd be scared too, twice over. From seeing what could be, and possibly being a Witch. Just... be there for her. Remind her about that, how she changed something once. You can probably do it again. We'll figure this out, we'll have something smart in place for taking care of her, okay?" She tries to take this fairly calmly, succeeding to some extent since she has been thinking the overall Puella Magi situation through in a lot of detail lately.

Gaofele Doiru has posed:
Gaofele Doiru thinks on Rune's comment, then nods. "Having more actual friends would be kind of nice," he admits. "Friendly acquaintances are good, but having a wider circle of people that we can just 'hang out' with..."

A small smile crosses his face. "It sounds good."

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari nods. "Yeah I've been doing my best but she's been.... running hot." he says. "Not taking breaks. Not going home. That kind of thing." he says exasperated. "She knows where I am, I brought her over here once. She knows she's welcome here if she feels she's in trouble or needs help, I made that clear to her. I know you guys wouldn't mind about that point." he says.

He smiles. "Remember, I can help too, just-- some things are exciting to discover for yourself too." he says.

"Earth is exciting and now you're not worrying about things back home on Waldia." he smiles. "So you can enjoy yourself now." he says. "I mean I've been here all my life so it's rather boring to me. Waldia's more exciting to me. But to you, Waldia is probably... 'boring', and Earth and Tokyo are exciting." he laughs.

"I need to take Vale out to one of Dad's fundraisers soon. She wants to know how 'Earth Nobility' does things. That's going to be intresting." he says. "Fancy dresses fit in there at least. May not even turn heads!" he says. "Unless she's aiming for it."

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"You've got it!" Rune gushes as Gaofele follows where that line of thought leads.

However, she's very quick to disagree with Hinote and folds an arm while the other pops a nearby chocolate. "No, home isn't boring. I wish we could be there more often. Yes, Earth is interesting, but that doesn't mean I'm sick of home and glad to be away from it. It's comfortable! And some day we'll go back."

Gaofele Doiru has posed:
"There's something to be said for home forests," Gao agrees, nodding to Rune. "The forests of Japan aren't bad, but it's not the same as the trees that I grew up around. Tokyo's parks are nice, but it's a very different feel to them."

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari laughs. "I'm not saying it's-- dull. Just. What you're used to is 'normal' and-- what you're not is extraordinary. But I'm sure you guys do enjoy and miss home more. I dunno if I'd feel the same way about Earth though when I go back with you guys." he shrugs. "I felt more 'right' over in Waldia then I do over here at least." he laughs.

"I worried a lot about nothing because I fit in mostly well, you know? Everyone was helpful."

Runealy Waldia has posed:
"Yeah... kind of hard to set up a tent in them. Too many people," Rune adds to Gaofele's thoughts.

Hinote's explanation is accepted, smile returning as she finishes off another piece of chocolate. "Mm... that's good stuff. Thanks for bringing it here! And yeah, I think I get what you mean. As for fitting in? I'm sure people had their questions and wondered about some things, but... you're part of why they still exist, why they're alive and have houses and families. That goes a long way!"

Gaofele Doiru has posed:
Gaofele Doiru unwraps another chocolate and nibbles on it, savoring the flavor. This one apparently has a coconut filling; tasty, and an interesting contrast of texture from the chocolate.

Hinote Kagari has posed:
Hinote Kagari nods. "The barrier forest was /huge/ and thick. I think I could had gotten lost in there for months if I let myself!" he says. "I bet there's places in that forest no one's seen in /years/." he says. "Hidden away and all that." he says.

"Kinda makes me wish I could go back and explore it." he grins.

He stands up. "Well. I have to go chase down Shinobu then and let her know what's up. I think she'll feel a little better but-- I dunno." he sighs and shakes his head.

"But before that..." he grins.

"I'm gonna go make that pizza~" he says.
