Care Package!

Location:	Mitakihara - Twin Bells
Synopsis:	Rena volunteers to bring Usagi some things from school. Sweets may or may not be involved!

Rena Sakai has posed:
Its been a long day. One of Rena's classmates has been out sick for the past few days. She could be sick! That is a horrible thing! Something must be done! But what? CARE PACKAGE!!! Who better to make one of those up then someone who has an affinity for baking and enjoys giving out goodies. Rena Sakai has opted to go and visit the missing student.

Over the day, Rena had gathered a few things for Usagi Tsukino. Things like letters from well wishers, a precious few people who were giving thank you letters for not spreading her low grades around (these were promptly removed and destroyed by Rena. No way she'd deliver that sort of thing), and of course the dreaded HOMEWORK!

Finally the day was over. Rena quickly sent a text to Usagi, having tracked down the number during the day. She does manage to get an address and heads out to go find the ondango-headed girl.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi's out in the real world for the time being. She should have gone to school, probably, but she told her mother she started feeling bad again. Which isn't a lie! She's still emotionally wrecked over Naru, though not as bad as she would have been without Mamo-chan Cuddles.

A quick (or not so quick) smooch to Mamoru, and she ventures off for food and fresh air! (This time something resembling healthy.)

She receives a text from a new student shortly after leaving Jadeite's palace. Awww, she wants to see her! But eek!

A quick text to Rena, telling her she's not at home please don't check there!

Instead, she gives the address to Twin Bells, a local toyshop she's been meaning to check out.

'I've never been here before, and figured I'd check it out while I'm feeling a little better!' is included in one of her texts, followed by bunny and heart emojis!

She's looking around, contemplating the pros and cons between this stuffed bunny and that toy cat, easily spotted by her hair. (But not over aisles. She's short!)

As Rena arrives at the toy store, she quickly slips in and looks around. She is not as new as most people think. She just has kept a lower profile until recently. The girl is carrying a large back pack with gods only knows whats inside it.

Rena finds herself completely enthralled with all the cool things in the toy store. She looks around a little as she tries to find Usagi. Sadly she is easily distracted by a very cute looking weasel plushie! She picks it up and gives it a squeeze. Then without any though she snuggles it happily! "OMG THIS IS SO CUTE I SO WANT IT!!!" She exclaims as she looks at the price tag. She quickly fishes into her pocket and looks at how much she has. Hey she can get it!

She carries it with her as she moves over through the store. Oh Look! A Bunhead! Thats gotta be her. "Hey Tsukino-san? Hiya! I'm Rena Sakai. I'm in your class! You look well. Good to see you out and about! I have some stuff for you that you might be interest. Not the Weasel stuffy sadly, Thats for me!" She giggles a little and gives the silly plush another hug!

Ohhhhhh, Mamo-chan would love this!

It's a stuffed tuxedo kitty!

Overall, with a quick test for hugability, softness, and any bits that may poke at eyes, nine out of ten! Perfect! Or, should she say, purr-fect. Heehee.

Ooo, bags of chocolate candies! Into the carry basket they go! (Note to self: Pick up chocolate cake at the bakery as well.)

She perks up at hearing her name and turns to look at her classmate. Recognition dawns on her face! She's much better at faces than names. "Rena-chan! Hi!" She waves with her free hand and gives a cheery smile!

If Rena's watched the blonde girl for any length of time, she will likely notice that Usagi's happiness levels are a thousand percent improved. Interesting! Could it be a boy? (Yes it is, hush.)

"He's cute!" She scritches the stuffed weasel between the glass eyes. "That's okay! This one isn't for me, either. It's for a...friend."

No pink cheeks here!

"Thank you so much for bringing me stuff! You didn't have to!"

Rena Sakai has posed:
Rena Sakai laughs, "Of course I did! I wouldn't be able to make good friends if I didn't! Besides some of this stuff is really important. You know, like school work and stuff." Yeah lets go with that right now. She smirks a little and opens the bag.

The first thing she fishes out is a is a small stack of notes from friends. Most of them are get well soon and well wishing. "Lets go with the good first. Then the bad then some more good!" She giggles and hands over the stack of notes.

She wasn't kidding about the bad though. The next thing she hands over is the assignments for the time she's been out of school. She gives them over and frowns, "Good luck with those. You probably know someone better at school work then me honestly." She giggles a little.

Finally she smirks, "Now, there is only one way to make someone who has been feeling bad feel better." She gets out a few small bags filled with oatmeal raisin cookies and peanut butter cookies with chocolate chips! If thats not enough, she gets out three more baggies, each with a slice of cake in them. This cake though doesn't have icing! Its yellow cake with what looks like peanut butter on it and then topped with hardened chocolate! She hands these things over as well and then closes up her bag. "There you be!"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi considers this and nods! "It is easier to make friends that way! I usually just bombard people with hugs!"

Her eyes widen at the get well notes. Part of her feels guilty, since technically she's not sick, but the larger part is touched! "Awwww, people!"

Usagi's eyes turn horrified at the homework. "Oh no..." She gulps. "Fortunately, there's someone who can help with this!" Mamo-chan likes school work! (He's weird that way!)

Then her eyes light up, because food! "Oh my goodness! Where'd you get these?" She can feel her mouth begin to water!

And then, not really unexpectedly because she said so earlier and because this is Usagi, she moves things out of the way to hug Rena! "Thank you so much! I've been kind of down, but this helps lots!"

Rena Sakai has posed:
Rena Sakai giggles a little and then returns the hug happily! "Hey hugs are good too! I love hugs!" She giggles a little and once the hug breaks she simply grins. "Oh your boy friend? Thats awesome I don't have one." She's making assumptions but hey, maybe she is right!

"The sweets? I made them! I love baking stuff. My parents totally like the idea of me cooking for my friends and help me out with the supplies. I've gotten pretty good at it and I really love trying the stuff as I make it. Some of it gets really yummy. The tandy cakes are some of my favorites!" She giggles a little.

She smiles a little. Finally a normal friend! One that doesn't have fish or stars or other crazy things flying around them. It's actually cool. Peaceful really. She definitely seems at ease over the whole thing.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi blushes brightly and has a small, affectionate smile toward said boyfriend at that! "Well...you know."

She gasps! "You made them? I'm jealous!" She shifts things around until she can pull a cookie out and takes a bite. NOMF!

Her eyes light up! "Mmmm! These are almost as good as Mako-chan!" She swallows. Happy tummy! And then. "I'm highly biased for Mako-chan Food, so that's high praise!"

Rena Sakai has posed:
Rena Sakai giggles a little. "My parents taught me how to bake. They have an international resturant downtown. They love different foods that they have found in their travels. My mom is from England and dad is from here. They are usually busy at the resturant." That would explain the way she speaks. Her voice does have a slightly English accent to it after all.

She giggles a little and gives a polite bow. "Thank you Usagi-chan. I am happy that you enjoy them. There will be more when you get back to school! I usually bake stuff before I leave for school in the morning so I can give it away. I love giving stuff to people. It's fun to see people's faces light up!" She reaches into her bag and pops a cookie into her own mouth and giggles.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi's eyes widen and sparkle. "A restaurant! An international one!" Golly! "I love food!"

This is about as much of an understatement as someone saying its drizzling during a monsoon.

There are more stars in her eyes! They remain when she gives a bow back! "Baked goodies before school? That sounds amazing!" This probably means she'll have to doubly make sure to get to school on time!

Of course, food is one of Usagi's strongest motivators.

Rena Sakai has posed:
Rena Sakai nods, "My parents are always up early, So I usually get up to spend time with them. So I bake and stuff before they head off to the get stuff ready for the day. I think they want me to one day take over the resturant. I think that would be cool but I dunno if I want to be a chef. I like acting too! And Singing!"

She beams and lets out a few notes. It doesn't sound terrible, just really untrained. She smiles a little. "I am in the Drama Club! Tonight we are putting on our first show of this part of the year. My good friend Kaori got the lead on it. I get to play the villain!" She lets out a terrifying, "MUahahaha!" Or at least lightly menacing. She is just too joyful to seem like a real threat.

"I'm sorta worried about Kaori. She's changed since going for the lead. Its like this roll has just consumed her. She only wants to hang out with the really popular people now. She doesn't want anything to do with her other friends. Its like she completely lost herself." She frowns for the first time. "I hope she finds herself again soon. I kinda miss her."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Rena's singing is much better than Usagi's! "I can't sing or act!" A cheerful grin at this! "And I also have a hard time waking up early. I'm late to school a lot! Though I was getting better at it before last week!"

She eeps at the menacing laugh!

Usagi hums and strokes her chin. "Well, recently, I had something similar." Of course, not really, but sort of. Being brainwashed is kind of the same thing! "I wound up making things worse by pushing and I was quite the nuisance! But it became a lot easier when I just started not pushing and just being there for him." She nods!

Rena Sakai has posed:
Rena Sakai smiles, "My parents always taught me to be true to myself. If people can't accept you as you are, they won't really accept you anyway. It's really tough though to be like that. I have trouble with it sometimes but I like to think that I am still me. I think I'll always be the happy go lucky girl who enjoys her baked goods!"

She smiles and listens to Usagi. "You aren't like that now right? I mean you seem to be doing a whole lot better now right?!" She giggles a little. "No matter how bad it gets the best person you can ever be is you because no one else can. There is only one Usagi-chan! Just like there is only one Rena and only one of your boyfriend. Imagine if everyone tried to be like someone else. It would be a mess!"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi blushes even more! "Well, it's true! There is only one of him in alllll the world, and I'm lucky he likes me!" More blushing! And a happy wiggle and hum! "And he's really, really smart. Not like me! But he doesn't make me feel stupid at all and he tries to find ways to teach me things so I'd understand better!"

More happy hums! And she stops herself before he can give her a wry mental eyebrow.

She shrugs. "I'm happy with me. But sometimes I want to be a better me. It's okay if you try to be a better you withought losing who you are at the core, right?"

Rena Sakai has posed:
Rena Sakai nods! "That is exactly right. It would be really be bad if no one ever improved themselves." She giggles a little. Part of her might be a little jealous of the girl and how wonderful of a man she landed. Still she simply giggles.

She stretches, "Well I should probably go and pay for this cute weasel and get home. I got a lot of homework to do and stuff." She shrugs. "I will see you in school! Unless you show up tonight!"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"True! For instance, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between pi and pie!" That's okay, Rena! Sometimes Usagi is jealous of herself, too! (And wonders when he'd get all smart and go for someone more like Ami-chan! But shhhhh don't tell!)

Usagi hums and thinks. "I should get back, too. I'll try to make it tonight! But I'm not sure if I can." A sad face for Rena! "Sometimes I start feeling worse again!"

Sort of true! There are times, she can feel one coming now, where she gets all panicky and all she can think about is rushing back to Jadeite's palace and make sure Mamoru's still there and that he's for really reals back!

Also, now she has homework. He always looks so handsome when he has on his thinking face! Ooooo, a benefit of homework! Yay!
