- Homura Akemi has posed:
It has been one month since the Last Chance Dance, which means it's been exactly one month since Homura and Madoka started dating, which in turn means it's a very special day!
Homura is here, waiting in front of the chosen restaurant. She's wearing a light purple pleated dress, a light grey sash wrapped around it like a belt and tied into a bow, and a purple button-down blouse. Around her shoulders is a tan mantle with black lining, and tan sleeves come out from beneath the mantle ending in black wrist straps. A red ribbon is tied around her collar, and another red ribbon is in her hair. Grey stockings go up to her knees, and on her feet are tiny black shoes.
A sweet aroma of cooked fish permeates the area around the entrance of the restaurant. People walk in and out of the front door, often in groups or, like Homura and Madoka, as a couple. Glass doors show a peek of a very nice environment inside: furnished wood, soft lighting, and the occasional potted plants set in nooks in the walls.
Homura smiles at Madoka, reaching out to take her hand. "Well... here we are! Are you excited, Madoka-chan?"
Inside, there is a short line, but since Homura and Madoka made reservations they get to skip all of that. A waiter comes to show them to their table, where a couple of menus await them. Homura tries to arrange it so she can sit next to Madoka, because where else would she sit?
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka has been giddy and excited all day throughout school, eagerly awaiting the evening and the date with Homura that would signify that it had been one month since they started dating. It's perhaps a bit silly because the person she had shared her giddiness and excitement with had mostly been Homura herself; they were around each other all the time. Dates are special, however, and especially ones marking momentous occasions such as this. True, it is only one month but it's been an incredibly eventful one that felt like so much longer.
She had let her girlfriend help pick out the outfit she was going to wear and ended up in a short sleeved dress with a cream colored bodice that has a modest round collar, and short cuff sleeves with little cream bows on them. The front of the bodice has a ruffled white section sewn in with three pink bows on it, a large one right on the center of her chest and two smaller ones in line below it. The skirt itself is the same pink as the bows and is divided into thirds by inch and a half white stripes. It drops down to just above her knees, ending in another frilled white stripe long the hem.
Her hair is up in it's usual pigtails and red ribbons, and she's wearing a pair of matching pink shoes with short white socks. It's a very pretty look as well as relatively simple and neat compared to some of the fancier outfits she's worn to dances and parties.
She is doing her best to keep relatively calm as she waits alongside Homura. When the question is asked Madoka looks over to her and smiles brightly, looking as happy and excited as Homura's ever seen her. Or at least as happy and excited as Homura's seen her when she wasn't pouncing on her for giddy hugs. "I'm very excited, Homura-chan! I can't believe it's only been a month. It feels like it's been so much longer." She twists a little from side to side on her feet, her dress swishing about her legs, "Isn't that wonderful though? So much happiness in only a month, and we have so much time ahead of us."
Not the least of which is right now, tonight. The typical convention is that two people on a date sit across a small table from each other so they can look at each other. Well forget that, Madoka would much rather scoot her chair right next to Homura's so she can brush arms and knees with her every now and again so she's very happy with the arrangement Homura has for them.
She does have good manners though and this is a very nice place so she sits down politely in her chair, brushing her skirt out beneath her legs. After a moment or two she picks up her menu, going a bit wide eyed at all the scrumptious options. Her eyes pause at one spot in particular and her cheeks color. She peeks over to Homura, then back to the menu. She lowers her menu and peeks over it, looking around to see how secluded the area of the restaurant they're in is.
She leans over and whispers, "Would it... be really horrible manners to feed each other bites of sushi?" She can't keep the hint of a giggle out of her voice.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Picking out each other's outfits was fun, and Homura had tried on a variety of clothes along with Madoka, before finally deciding to go for their current outfits. They went together, and they fit the kind of place they were going.
Homura smiles at Madoka's answer, folding her hands together and nodding. "It's been a wonderful month, Madoka-chan, and we have so much to forward to. I've never been happier than I've been when I'm with you."
Inside, Homura looks over the menu, purple eyes scanning over words and images as she considers. She doesn't notice the flushing of Madoka's cheeks until her girlfriend speaks to her. "Huh? Feed sushi to each other..."
When Homura does notice Madoka's face, she also blushes slightly, tilting her menu away and looking at the girl beside her. "You... want to do that? I mean... we probably could." Homura looks around. It is pretty secluded. It's a quiet corner of the restaurant, and that's intentional.
"... I don't think anyone would mind if we did." Homura blush reddens by the slightest amount, and she smiles at Madoka. When she turns back to her menu, she goes right for the sushi section. "So what kind of sushi should we get? We could probably get a few different kinds and share them, if we're going to be feeding each other."
Homura giggles at the thought of it, actually. It's a good idea, and romantic considering it's their one month anniversary.
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
"Accepting your feelings and being your girlfriend was one if the best decisions I've ever made. Ever since we became friends I've enjoyed spending time with you. It's amazing getting to spend time with you as a friend and also be romantic with you." Madoka shyly looks over at Homura out of the corner of her eyes as she talks, still trying to have good manners while they go to their table; probably why she doesn't pay enough attention to see what part of the restaurant they're in.
It is a secluded one, though, and it that makes her giddy and excited. She doesn't have any problems showing her love of Homura in public, but she is considerate enough to think of the other diners around them when those diners aren't a group of their friends. Friends on the other hand are just going to have to learn to deal with it, as Sayaka, Kyouko, and Hannah found out.
Still blushing softly she looks over to Homura instead of merely peeking at her and smiles, "I think it'd be fun. You're right too, we should probably get variety if we're going to do that."
Homura blushes and Madoka's own blush brightens a bit from it, giggling while trying to keep herself from getting too gushy and over excited just yet. The night is young!
"Let's see... tuna and eel are good. Salmon is really nice and smoky. Maybe some simple egg sushi too, as a palette cleanser?" She looks at the menu a bit more, having mainly just recognized that they did actually have a good selection of it and having asked her question from there. There's... some really high quality stuff here! "They must have a full time sushi chef."
After another short moment she pipes up, "Oh! We should get sparkling cider or something so we can make a toast!" That's an anniversary thing, right?
- Homura Akemi has posed:
"I'm happy you did, too," replies Homura, turning to smile at Madoka as the two of them walk. "I'm happy I confessed to you. I had no idea we could be so happy together, but I've really enjoyed being close to you and loving you."
Kyouko kissed Sayaka right after the fight with Sayaka's Nullheart, so it's not like they aren't doing the same thing. Though it's hard to tell how intimate they really are.
At the table, Homura looks over the menu and occasionally glances up at Madoka. Partially she's looking because Madoka is talking, but also part of it is because Homura has a really cute girlfriend. "Salmon and tuna sound good. I don't think I've had eel before, but I could try it! Egg sushi is fine, too."
She looks over the menu a bit more, considering the options. "I wouldn't mind some mackerel. I guess if we want more we can just order more."
Upon hearing mention of cider and a toast, Homura nods. "I'd like that! We should do that." She giggles softly, "It really has been something worth celebrating hasn't it? we've come so far in such a short time. It really has been amazing."
Right now Homura's maybe a bit more subdued than she has been. The thought of feeding Madoka, and being fed by her, is making her giddy and nervous. She shifts in her seat a bit, and decides to brush her leg against Madoka's. She passes the time by playing footsies until the waiter comes by to take their order.
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka closes her eyes for a moment and smiles, "If I knew I'd be this happy with you I'd have teased you into confessing a lot sooner." She's joking of course, as evidenced by her next comment, "Actually, I'm really happy things happened the way they did. Confessing to me after the ice dancing was really romantic."
Kyouko totally kissed Sayaka on the cheek after that fight, and Madoka is dying to find out what their deal is! Part of it is just the shippers excitement of hoping nudging the two together works but mostly she wants them both to be happy and thinks they can be together. Especially if Sayaka's biggest danger is letting herself get too upset over how her romantic intentions for Kyousuke turned out.
Madoka notices Homura glancing at her and blushes a little again, fidgeting with her feet a bit under the table. One thing about hugging and kissing so much is that she's finding it a bit hard to be on good behavior. "You should try it! Eel is really good." Madoka tilts her head a bit, "And maybe I could try mackerel too? I don't think I've had that."
She's happy when her suggestion for making a toast is taken well. Homura does seem to appreciate her input often and it makes her happy. "Yes! I think it really is. When we first started dating I wasn't even sure if going out with a girl was something I'd even enjoy. I knew I'd like spending time with you but I wasn't entirely sure about kissing and going on dates."
Madoka can't help but giggle, "Though I guess you had me convinced about the kissing the first night. It was a long night, though." She looks down shyly for a moment, smiling softly, "It seems silly now that I was worried. I think if anything it's made our friendship even stronger, and you're a really amazing girlfriend."
Homura leg brushes against hers and she jumps a bit because she was trying to be on her best behavior at least until the food was ordered, though now that it's initiated Madoka very delicatedly slides her bare leg against Homura's stocking. Then, with a bright blush but while keeping her eyes on her menu she slides her leg along Homura's until the skin of her thigh brushes Homura's just above her girlfriends stocking.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura giggles as she recalls the unintentional teasing. "Being so close to you, holding you, wanting you... It was exquisite in its own way. To hold you in my arms and call you my little angel, without telling you how I really felt..." Homura gets a little more meek, "... I think I kind of enjoyed that, but I'm also glad that we get to kiss each other and be romantic, so I'm pretty happy with the way things went, too."
She thinks back to that night a month ago. "Cuddling in the snow with you was really sweet. I won't forget that anytime soon, Madoka-chan. I won't ever forget our first kisses, either."
Homura still doesn't know what their deal is either. All she knows is that Sayaka isn't going crazy so Homura probably doesn't have to worry about her. At least not for the moment. Still, they do seem meant for each other. Each one has something the other needs.
Yeah... Homura's actually not that great about the 'good behavior' thing, though she is trying to keep her hands to herself. Mostly. She's most certainly not keeping her feet to herself. "Mackerel is a lot like salmon, really. If it's fresh. It doesn't keep for very long so it really does need to be eaten fresh, though."
Homura smiles for a moment, thinking to how things were when they first started. "I guess I don't really think of it much in terms of girls and boys or things like that. I'm in love with you, specifically, and so I guess that took priority to me." Putting down her menu, she looks at Madoka. "Honestly I wasn't sure if it was even a good idea. Even with the way I felt about you, I wasn't sure if I'd have the time, and I was already afraid of how you'd feel if something were to happen to me..." Which... to be honest, something did happen to her. She looks down at the table when she remembers that.
"... but... I don't regret it. We've been so happy together, and that's worth fighting for."
Homura looks up at Madoka after the compliment, smiling faintly. "Thank you. So are you. You've always been an amazing person, amazing friend, and now you're an amazing girlfriend."
Homura feels Madoka's leg against her stocking, and then her own bare skin. She sits straight up, suddenly off-balanced by the contact. She's giggling nervously when the waiter comes to take their order. Homura looks up at him and says, "Right! Umm..." she glances towards Madoka, before turning back to the waiter. "We wanted sushi... salmon, tuna, eel, mackerel, and egg. Oh! And also sparkling cider." She looks at Madoka with a pleasant tilt of her head and a smile. "Did you want anything else?"
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka blushes as Homura talks about wanting her. It's still a little crazy for her to think that there could be people who want to be around her and with her so badly. She knows why Homura feels that way and she wholly accepts it, but to her it was still not even a year ago that she was lonely living in America, her closest friends the nurses at the hospital she volunteered at. "I'm glad you had a chance to enjoy it. I'm not sure what I'd have thought if I knew then, but now it seems really sweet. I really liked snuggling with you too. I was really happy when you liked letting me hug you. I really needed -someone- like that, and I ended up finding the perfect person."
Normally Madoka is a very good girl who can be polite and have wonderful manners. Normally. Having a girlfriend playing footsie with her puts that on it's head, because she just can't resist Homura. Especially when she's being so cute. "That sounds good," she notes about the mackerel. "It must be good and fresh if they're offering it here as sushi."
Madoka blushes at Homura's comment, "I might be the same way too. I'm not sure? I've always admired girls who were beautiful, like you," sneaky compliment, "but I'd never considered kissing them. But, well... the way you looked at me when you told me, and the excitement I felt in the moment." She blushes even brighter when she remembers, "I ended up asking you to kiss me before you asked if you could." Madoka wasn't sure if it was a good idea either, and she even said as much at the time. Things have obviously been turning out very well though.
Madoka makes a bit of a face, somewhere between thoughtful and worried, when Homura mentions being afraid of how she'd feel if something happened to her. "It's true, it did hurt a lot more because of how close involved we'd become romantically. But... even if we weren't dating, I would have still done the same thing for you, Homura-chan. You still would have been my very best friend. I still knew how much you'd done for me, and I still would have wanted to spend a lot more time with you. There just... would have been less kissing while we snuggled." The slightly worried look turns to a rather embarrassed one, "Though I think if you hadn't confessed I'd have been very surprised when I found out how you felt about me! Hehehehe..."
Homura sits straight up and Madoka does her best to suppress a giggle. She keeps teasing her gently with the skin contact as she orders doesn't do anything even more bold. She watches her girlfriend as she interacts with the waiter, partly to see how her light teasing is affecting her, but also for the simple fact that she's pretty, and looking at the profile of her face can be just as nice as looking at her face straight on.
Madoka gives a gentle shake of her head when she's asked if there's anything else she wants. "Only ice water," she states in a soft tone of voice, trying to be polite in front of their waiter.
Once the waiter goes off with their order she gives Homura a sweet smile, "Thanks for taking me out on such a nice date, Homura-chan. We've only just arrived here but it's already a lot of fun."
- Homura Akemi has posed:
"I'll happily be your 'hugs and cuddles' person, Madoka-chan." Homura winks. She flips through the pages of the menu, not really reading them but getting a little antsy. "It's funny, I am actually pretty picky about who I want touching me. There's a big difference between you hugging me and a stranger doing it, but... I do like it when it's you."
Homura's such a bad influence on her little angel. Always tempting her to misbehave, at least in fun ways.
"Yeah, it should be pretty fresh." Homura would be very annoyed if it wasn't! ... but it probably will be. This is a quality establishment, after all.
Homura narrows her eyes at Madoka, wearing a playful smile as she hears the sneaky compliment. She giggles as she listens to Madoka, looking deep into her pink eyes the whole time. "Cutie." She happily sighs thinking back to that moment. "We ended up skating, cuddling, and kissing until the sun came up. I don't even think we had any sleep that night. That really set the tone for a lot of what we do, didn't it? We've cuddled and kissed a lot since then."
Homura considers the possibility of Madoka finding out that way, only knowing how Homura felt because she was feeling Homura's emotions directly. Oh geeze. Now Homura's embarrassed, too. "That would've been quite the surprise, huh? ... but I know you would've. You're so kind... I don't really think that I'm capable of doing anything that would really alienate you."
Homura's reaction is something that Madoka would recognize, even if she sees it a lot less often than she used to. The whole time Homura's talking to the waiter while being teased, she wears her stoney cold blank stare. It's a very well practiced neutral look, and Homura hasn't neglected it. There's just a few tiny beads of sweat gathering on Homura's forehead that might give away how she really feels about it.
When the waiter leaves, Homura's face relaxes again and she turns to Madoka with a laugh. "You really are something else, my little angel."
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
A giggle is drawn from Madoka as Homura winks at her. She gives a small nod, "An actual stranger hugging me would bother me too. I- well... you saw how I was when I first moved back. It took me a while to get used to being around so many people again." Whatever the population density was where she lived in America it was nothing like Tokyo. "I like it when it's you, too!"
Madoka smiles prettily as she's called a cutie, leaving her eyes on Homura's while they're looked into. Her expression changes to a soft smile as the things they did that night is recounted, "It did, and I've really enjoyed the tone it set. It makes me so happy that I get to spend so much time with you, and I never get tired of cuddling with you or kissing you."
Another embarrassed giggle and Madoka nods, "I probably would have thought it was sweet that you felt that way but didn't want to bother me with it. I would have been embarrassed for sure... but I think that would have been more of an issue after I saved you." It most certainly wouldn't have stopped her. She tilts her head down bashfully and looks up into Homura's eyes, "I don't think you could either. I really like you."
The stony faced neutral expression makes it a bit harder for Madoka to hold her own small smile even, especially when she notices the beads of sweat. After the waiter leaves and Homura looks at her she tilts her head and lets out the most innocent, "Me?"
Half a beat and she's laughing right alongside her girlfriend, "You started it, Homura-chan. I love you so much, you should know better than to tease me." Something occurs to her and she lifts a hand over her mouth to giggle into it, her eyes dancing as she looks into Homura's. When she finally lowers her hand the expression on her lips is mischievous, something playfully at odds with her usual demeanor. "Maybe that's why you're name is 'Homura'," her thigh brushes against Homura's again, just enough to push her skirt up a quarter of an inch more, "because I like playing with fire?"
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura considers. Didn't want to bother her with it? Yeah, there may have been a time when Homura felt that way. She'd probably still feel that way if Madoka hadn't already said that she didn't need to hide her feelings. Hiding them to such a degree would've been like calling Madoka a liar.
"I think I'm happier having confessed... I feel better about myself having been able to say it." She fidgets with the edge of her menu absent-mindedly, as if she's not even aware of it. "Still... I guess we would've had a pretty interesting conversation then, wouldn't we? I wonder how our friends would've reacted to us if we went from being friends to kissing in front of them."
She reaches over to squeeze Madoka's hand for a moment, and before she pulls away she says, "I really like you, too."
After the teasing and Homura calling Madoka on it, Homura is covering her mouth and trying to stop the laughter. She's failing.
'Me?'
"Yeah, you!"
Then Madoka laughs right along side her, and Homura shakes her head. "Yeah, okay... okay, I did start it. I couldn't help it, because I love you so much."
Homura looks into Madoka's eyes as hers are looked into. Homura's laughter slows, fading into a wide smile. She blinks as she sees the mischief in Madoka's smile, and then blushes harder when their thighs rub against each other.
"You can play with me if you want to..." She tries to sound cool when she says that, but with the squeak in her voice she actually she ends up sounding really meek.
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
"I'm glad you could say it. It's good being able to be honest with other people, and with yourself. You've had so many difficult things you've had to keep to yourself, I'm happy for you that you don't have to do that as much anymore." As much because it's not like they're going to go around airing the dirty laundry of Puella Magi. They both know the consequences that can lead to.
She laughs a little. Would they have started kissing out of nowhere after sharing that bond if Homura hadn't confessed before they shared it? ...maybe. Probably, even. Especially considering Madoka would still have gained that insight into her own emotions as well.
Madoka looks over to Homura and smiles at her as her hand is squeezed. The solitary reason she doesn't turn her hand over and take hold of Homura's hand is because she's worried she wouldn't let it go for quite a while if she did that now.
'Yeah, you!'
Madoka has to hold her hand over her mouth even harder because she doesn't want to laugh so loud that she draws attention. "Aww, I love you too, Homura-chan," she replies when her laughter dies down enough to allow for it. Her own smile brightens as she sees Homura's. This date is so fun!
She giggles sneakily as Homura blushes, only to sputter at what she says next. And with such a squeaky, meek voice!
Madoka's face turns red and she fidgets, obviously very flustered by it. 'Oh my god,' she thinks. Homura is so beautiful, but she can be so cute too when she acts shy.
Well..." Her hands fidget and her blush doesn't seem to be dying down any. She peeks around with her eyes, a little worried their food might show up right now just because of how embarrassed she is. "...okay."
She scoots over on her chair, closer to it's edge near Homura, and then reaches up with her near hand and gently slides it between Homura's face and the long lock of hair in front of her air, catching it against her hand with her thumb and drawing her hand down along it, stroking it silkily. She leans in close and whispers, "How should I play with my Homura-chan?" into her ear in a quiet but sugar sweet tone.
While still stroking that lock of hair she reaches across herself and, oh so gently, sets her hand on Homura's leg, right in front of her skirt on that exposed patch of skin.
Homura may well be irresistible to her.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
This date is a lot of fun, and the two of them haven't even eaten yet. That sushi is being made right now, somewhere in the kitchen. Homura couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the 1 month mark.
'Oh my god' is what Homura thinks, too. She's mentally kicking herself for letting her voice squeak, but Madoka seems to have taken it well enough. She's starting to feel pretty intense, and her shyness makes that clear.
She notices Madoka looking around and Homura can't stop her eyes from doing the same. No food in sight yet. Which is good, because Madoka reaches up to touch Homura's hair. Homura's back is still very straight right now, waiting still as her girlfriend touches her. She grips the edge of her skirts, trying very hard not to just grab Madoka and start kissing her right now.
'How should I play with my Homura-chan?'
Oh geeze. Oh geeze. The breath of that soft whisper tickles her ear, brushing her own hair against it. She gasps softly. She reaches up, putting her hands on Madoka's shoulders, squeezing them tightly. She closes her eyes, but then opens them a moment later, looking out for anyone who might be coming. One of them should be watching out, so Homura's doing that now.
Homura's leg shifts after being touched by Madoka, and she takes a moment to adjust her seat. Madoka is also irresistible to Homura, which is probably why they spend so much time practically attached to one another.
She lets Madoka play with her a bit longer, but after a moment she whispers, "I think I hear them coming," and starts gently pushing Madoka back to her seat. Homura turns out to be right, and manages to go back to her blank stare while the food is set out on the table. Though, her attempts to look emotionless are kind of ruined by the bright red on her cheeks.
The waiter soon leaves after dropping off their sushi, cider, and ice water. Once he's out of sight, Homura leans over to kiss Madoka on the cheek before looking at the table for her chopsticks. Oh, here they are. She holds them in her hand and clacks them together a couple times.
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Intense is a good way to put the way Madoka is feeling right now as well. Now they're both teasing each other and if they were alone at home there's little doubt there would be some intense kissing happening. But they're not alone at home, so they can't. Not being able to release the emotion builds it up.
Madoka is positively giddy as Homura grabs at her skirts and then gasps as she plays with her hair and teases the top of her thigh with a gentle touch. Homura might be in trouble because Madoka is starting to have a bit too much fun making her embarrassed and shy in public like this.
Still, she does have some self control and she doesn't play with Homura any more than a hand on her leg and stroking her hair. The way she's doing it certainly a heck of a lot more of a tease than she normally does, especially as she looks at her girlfriend with a brightly blushing face and a mischievous sparkle in her eyes. She also notices that Homura is peeking around still and playing the look out, which leaves her a little more open to tease.
She purses her lips a little and then gently blows cool air against Homura's ear, only to pull away with a giggle as Homura warns he off and pushes her away. The pink-haired girl gives a sweet smile and retreats, scooting back to a normal position on her seat and quietly setting her hands in her lap, the very picture of innocent patience as their sushi is brought to them. "Thank you," she even chimes kindly.
She'd probably have pulled that off masterfully if not for the fact her face is just as red as Homura's. Well, at least the waiter was nice about it and didn't call the teenaged girls out!
Madoka has to slap her fingers over her mouth as Homura kisses her on the cheek because she had just started turning to do the same thing. She tilts her cheek out to Homura and then leans in to press a kiss to her cheek as well. It's a normal, sweet one. She'll stop teasing for now so they can keep from choking on their food because of tight throats and sudden gigglefits.
That doesn't mean she isn't going to be sickeningly sweet about this dinner though. The fact they're going to be feeding each other has her in an undeniably romantic mood, and she stares dreamily, and a bit more innocently(the real kind, not the teasing kind) over at Homura.
Madoka prepares her own chopsticks and smiles to her girlfriend, looking at her adoringly, "What would you like to try first, my love?"
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura's in trouble indeed if Madoka makes a habit of this. Then again maybe Homura's okay with that. At this point Homura's going to start wondering just how much Madoka takes after Junko. Both of them like to tease, especially when it comes to matters of love!
Homura's lookout apparently wasn't a wasted effort, and the waiter at least doesn't see anything but a couple of beet-red faces. Her heart still skips a beat at Madoka's innosense, thinking that it has to be the cutest thing ever. 'Well, that's true,' Homura thinks. 'Madoka is the cutest thing ever.'
Homura really doesn't seem to relax until the waiter leaves, and after feeling the kiss on her cheek she turns to smile at Madoka. She really could just start kissing her right now, but she decides to hold off a bit. Holding it in does make it more intense, after all.
Leaning towards Madoka, she whispers conspiratorially, "So... you think he noticed?" Her purple eyes slide towards the point where they saw him leave.
Well, he either did notice and was just too nice to say anything, or he was just too busy to notice. Either way, at least they didn't get called out on it!
Homura hasn't forgotten about the idea to feed each other, and she realizes that it's probably going to lead to even more teasing, one way or another. Not that she minds. Already she starts looking over the various bits of sushi. "Hmmm. Well. How about salmon, beloved?"
She clicks her chopsticks against each other before asking, "... also, what would you like to try, darling?"
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
It's hard to say just how much Madoka takes after either of her parents in matters of love. It's clear they both love each other very much just by seeing the way they look at each other, but there didn't seem to be any teasing directed at each other. Of course they've also been married for longer than Madoka's been alive so they might have had time to build up a bit of patience.
All those years of being the perfect good girl seems to have paid off as the waiter leaves without pestering them about their beet red faces. Madoka smiles back at her and then giggles at Homura's question when she leans in, "I think he noticed two girls out on a date looking embarrassed! I have no idea if he caught me teasing you~."
They do seem to have gotten away with it, even if it's only so far as they weren't called out on it. Just being seen as a pair of blushing girls on a date though? Well, that's just the truth!
Madoka reaches down with her chopsticks and carefully takes a piece of salmon sushi off of the large serving platter, holding it in her chopsticks in a way that will make it easier to feed to Homura rather than eat it herself. "Hmm, I think I'd like to try the tuna first," she considers out loud.
She'll only take her eyes off Homura long enough to watch her pick up sushi with her own chopsticks. She'll slowly start to move the bite of salmon and rice towards Homura's mouth- pausing if she doesn't reciprocate. Without saying anything Madoka is going to try to get her girlfriend to feed her at the same time she feeds Homura.
Teasing doesn't seem to be her intent at all, but rather a sweet and affectionate gesture.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Well, it's a romantic engagement, and they were doing romantic things. Still are in fact, though somewhat different in nature. "I don't think we could've avoided the blushing. I think we did pretty well though."
Homura eagerly snaps up a bit of tuna sushi between her chopsticks, taking her eyes off of Madoka just long enough for her to identify and snatch up the morsel. When she looks back at Madoka, her girlfriend is holding a piece of salmon sushi and moving it closer to her. When Madoka pauses, Homura blinks, and then catches on.
'Oh, you really are adorable.'
Homura lifts her partner's sushi in her chopsticks, moving it closer to Madoka's mouth, as she opens her own mouth to accept Madoka's feeding. It's a much gentler gesture than what they were doing just moments before, but it's also very sweet.
Once they exchange bites, Homura chews and savors the taste of it. She closes her eyes for a moment, then opens them to look into Madoka's eyes. This really is a fun date.
When she suspects Madoka might be ready for another bite, she grabs something else to prepare to feed it to her girlfriend. She moves the sushi close to Madoka's mouth, waiting to see if Madoka will do the same again.
It is a sweet and affectionate gesture. Homura could do this all night long.
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka's smile widens into a brighter one and she nods, "We did! You did a good job looking out and making sure though. I don't think I would have noticed in time."
The pink-haired girl giggles softly as Homura realizes what she's up to, looking into her girlfriends beautiful purple eyes. Madoka opens her mouth when Homura offers her the sushi and at the same time feeds her as well, peeking away from her eyes to make sure she doesn't accidentally poke the fish and rice into Homura's lip, cheek, or nose. Luckily she's going slow enough that there wasn't too much chance of that anyway.
She delicately takes the bite off of Homura's chopsticks, chewing it afterwards and letting out an, "Mmm!" as her eyes sparkle.
When Homura picks up another bite for her Madoka's expression softens and she gives her a look that expresses just how sweet she thinks it is that she wants to keep feeding her like this. She looks down to the tray and considers before selecting another piece of sushi for her girlfriend. Well, Homura did say that mackerel was a bit like Salmon, so why not give that to her next? Perhaps they'll have a complimentary flavor?
She delicately picks it up with her chopsticks and smiles, offering out the morsel of delicious food to Homura. Once they're both ready she opens her mouth and goes to feed Homura as well.
For the most part during this feeding process it is quiet, but actions and the looks given say so much even without words.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura giggles as Madoka compliments her, "Thank you, my little angel~." What she doesn't say is that she actually does have a lot of experience with being sneaky. Not all of it is from stalking, either!
The way Madoka eats the sushi off of Homura's chopsticks is really adorable, Homura notices. So adorable that she's eager to see it again. With food in hand, she gets ready to feed her girlfriend again. Eel this time.
Homura consumes the second bite of fish and rice being given to her, and gives Madoka her share at the same time. It seems to Homura like a sweet bit of symbolism, each girl providing for the other, giving and receiving at the same time. Thinking about it that way only makes it even more romantic to her.
Once she's done with that bit of fish and rice, Homura giggles. "We really are cute together... Oh! We should take a picture!" She produces a cellphone, unlocking it with one hand as she picks up another bit of sushi with another.
She looks up and tilts her head. "Hey.. do you think we should feed each other and take a picture at the same time? We'd have to be really careful about it, but... it might be really cute!"
Homura holds up the camera, trying to get the angle right, and also scooting closer to Madoka to get them both in the frame. Her arm only goes so far, after all!
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka blushes softly as Homura calls her her little angel again, replying, "You're welcome," in a soft voice.
When the eel is offered up to her Madoka once more takes it from the chopsticks delicately, setting her tongue beneath the rice and then using her lips to take it gently from the chopsticks. The eel is very rich, and this time her eyes close as she takes the bite, letting out another, "Mmm," as she chews. This bite takes her a bit longer, again because of the more strongly flavored and thus more savory bite.
Once she's done her eyes open back up and she smiles happily at Homura. Sharing their meal like this is incredibly romantic to her and she finds herself feeling thankful Homura decided to bring them to a seafood restaurant. Especially one with such good sushi!
The giggle gets her attention and the mutual compliment draws one from her. It feels a tiny bit immodest to compliment herself... but she really does agree. "We are! If I saw a couple acting like us I'd probably blush and think it was the sweetest thing." Not that she doesn't think it's the sweetest thing when it is the two of them.
The picture comment gets an, "Oh!" from her in response and she nods her head, "That's a great idea, Homura-chan!" As her girlfriend gets out her cellphone Madoka scoots over to the edge of her chair again, her side pressing right up against Homura's because yes, camera angles. Before now Madoka had never seen the appeal of a selfie-stick, but she has to admit to herself that taking pictures of herself -with- Homura is rather enticing.
She gets up another piece of sushi ready, this time getting a piece of that savory eel for Homura. Her arm not holding the chopsticks slides around behind Homura, resting her hand on her girlfriends waist and pulling her a little closer. If they're going to have to get close she might as well take advantage, right?
With a comment of, "Practice!" she looks over at Homura and makes the motions to feed her the sushi before stopping short of poking her in the lips. This angle is different, after all! It goes smoothly enough, so she gives an, "Okay, ready!" She'll wait patiently if Homura wants to practice too.
Then, when it's time, she'll look into her girlfriends eyes, having to remind herself to open her mouth instead of smiling, and feeds her the delicious morsel of eel and rice.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura isn't being particularly modest, no. She feels cute, though. Feeding Madoka, and being fed by Madoka, puts her in a mood where she wants to squeal internally. She imagines how she'd feel if she saw some couple doing what they're doing right now. "I'd probably think that they were very happy together. I'd think the girl in black hair was lucky to have such a cute girlfriend."
Homura probably should get a selfie stick. A telescoping one so that she can hide it easily without henshining. Scooting closer to Madoka is nice, and having Madoka's arm around her is nice too. Homura has the phone in one hand, and a bit of salmon in the other. When Madoka calls for practice, Homura holds off, waiting for her to get it just right.
When they're both fairly sure they can pull it off without poking each other, Homura goes for the real thing, holding up the camera and taking the picture as each of them have a bit of sushi in the other's mouth, looking into Madoka's eyes once she's sure that the angle is right.
Homura giggles, and then looks at the picture she just took. She angles it so that Madoka can see it if she wants. It's a little bit of an angle, but Homura manages to get both of them in roughly the center of the picture.
The eel is a new sensation. The strong flavor is certainly leaving an impression. She chews it slowly, taking the time to enjoy it since this is something new to her.
When she's done chewing, she swallows. "Another one for the album!" she says cheerfully.
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka feels cute also, and a lot of the reason for it is all the compliments Homura is paying to her. Like the one she just did! She giggles at her girlfriend, "I think the girl in pink hair was lucky to have such a beautiful, caring girlfriend. And then I'd remember that I'm lucky to have one too."
Wanting to take cute pictures with your friends or girlfriend is probably the least narcissistic possible use for a selfie stick, especially when there have been talk of making an album of cute pictures with each other.
Once the practice is over Madoka feeds Homura her bite of sushi, taking hers from her girlfriends chopsticks just as gently and delicately as always, keeping her eyes locked on Homura's and looking deeply into them so that the love and affection she has for her might shine through in the picture itself.
She eats her bite of food before looking at the picture, and when she does she lets out an, "Aww!" Seeing the two of them pressed close, obviously sharing a sweet moment together, while dressed up on their date and having such a good time really is just too cute. "That's such a nice picture! That was a great idea, Homura-chan."
And now Madoka just can't quite help herself, setting her chopsticks down carefully before reaching over and turning Homura's face towards her with her fingertips so that she can lean in and give her a soft, sweet kiss on the lips while they're still so close. She closes her eyes and lets it linger, but is careful not to let it get too passionate- in this romantic a mood she'd probably end up forgetting to stop.
She'll break the kiss after those lingering moments, reaching over to her glass of cider and lifting it up. "Happy anniversary, Homura-chan," she offers sweetly.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura enjoys the compliment, and she lets it be known with a playful smile. "I'm very lucky, Madoka-chan, because you are caring, and sweet, and adorable." She has to remind herself not to scritch Madoka or cuddle her, because she knows once she starts she won't be able to stop. Either that or she just won't want to.
Homura looks at the picture with Madoka, hugging her with one arm for a moment. After she pulls away from Madoka, Homura does a bit of sorting with the picture, putting it into a folder labeled 'album' in all lowercase. Homura's attention is pulled away from her cellphone as Madoka turns her head towards her. Madoka leans in for a kiss, and Homura awaits. They kiss, their lips mingling for a sweet moment, and Homura takes the time to enjoy every little bit of that romantic gesture.
As Madoka's lips linger against hers, Homura makes a pleased, contented 'mmm' noise. Once the kiss breaks, Homura's lips hang apart for a moment, as if they were unsure what to do with themselves, having forgotten everything except for bliss.
Homura snaps out of that when she hears Madoka proposing a toast. Her phone quickly disappears into wherever she had it. She happily takes her glass of cider in hand and raises it to Madoka. "Happy anniversary, Madoka-chan. I'm having a wonderful time."
She then drinks a bit of her cider, looking at Madoka from the corner of her eye. Homura just stays there, looking at Madoka, with a happy smile on her face. Homura has said it many times before, but she can't help but think about how she'll never stop loving Madoka.
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka gives Homura a bashful smile as she showers her with even more sweet compliments. She is trying to be on good behavior again(one lingering kiss is fine on a date!) again now that the mood has shifted more towards the romantic rather than the intense, and it lends to her being a bit more modest in general.
Madoka is very happy when Homura accepts her kiss and makes that contented sound, feeling like the choice to kiss her was a good one. After the kiss parts Madoka looks into Homura's eyes and absentmindedly licks her lips, tasting a little bit of the clean sushi intermingling with Homura's lips. Fishy kisses? She blushes at the silly thought.
A soft giggle is made when Homura is jolted from her reverie. She adds, "I am too," before taking a sip of her cider. Madoka smiles to her beautiful girlfriend and for a moment just enjoys the sight of her, feeling a little thrill as it hits her again that the wonderful girl sitting next to her loves her, wants to be with her, and is dating her. "Tonight is turning out to be amazing. I love you, Homura-chan."
She takes another drink of her cider and then sets it down, peeking towards the food platter. "Want some more sushi?" she asks with a faint giggle.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura, even in her daze, notices Madoka licking her lips. She can't help but curve her delirious lips into a smile. Her heart leaps as she notices the blush on Madoka's face. Everything about this moment is nice and sweet.
"I love you too, Madoka-chan," says Homura with a sweet tone to her voice, "and tonight is amazing. I'm so happy we can enjoy our time together like this. Every moment I spend with you is like a dream come true, and you're so sweet to me all the time."
Purple eyes filled with adoration and admiration gaze longingly at Madoka. She giggles as Madoka brings up the food, and Homura says, "Sure! What would you like to try next?"
Homura's chopsticks loom overhead, descending on whatever Madoka picked, (or if Madoka doesn't pick then Homura picks something up at random). With a skillful hand, the sushi is caught.
The chopsticks rise, bringing an offering of food to Homura's favorite little angel. The sushi moves in a circle as Homura handles her chopsticks, tempting and teasing Madoka with food. "The sushi was a wonderful idea, my love."
This is a magical night, and Homura can't help but think that she'll have even more nights like this.
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka sees the reaction in Homura and her blush gets a bit brighter. The coyness in her rises to the surface for a moment and she shyly bites her bottom lip.
Hearing Homura tell her that she loves her back is enough to free her lip from her pearly teeth's grasp, and she smiles happily. Yeah, she thinks, Homura is right. It isn't turning out to be amazing, it just is amazing. "Then we'll have lots more happy moments so I can make all of your wonderful dreams come true, Homura-chan."
She isn't just sweet-talking, seeing Homura so happy warms her heart and fills her with a sense of deep satisfaction. It's amazing to Madoka to make a girl so sweet and giving as happy as she is. This girl who before she'd met her so very long ago was lonely and sad, and now thanks to her is loved and happy- that is a true accomplishment.
The purple eyed gaze sent her way warms her heart and puts a few giddy butterflies in her stomach. It's incredible to have her person she cares about most giving her that kind of look. "I'd like a piece of mackerel please," Madoka asks sweetly. And since they've moved on to asking she returns the question while picking her chopsticks back up, "Is there anything special I can get for you next, sweetheart?"
It isn't just that being wanted and loved Homura makes her feel good. As Madoka looks into Homura's eyes with a soft pink gaze of her own she's almost overwhelmed with affection for her. She likes almost everything about Homura, from her beautiful looks and dependable personality, to her more subtle quirks like that old shyness that still bubbles up to the surface around her from time to time.
She's so warm to hug and cuddle with, and even the touches they give one another are filled with tenderness. Go a little beyond that and there's more than just an enjoyment of those touches, but a desire for them, both to give and receive. The kisses they share can be either sensitive and gentle or fueled with intensity and passion. There was so much built up tension between them that Madoka had only just begun to consciously realize that even their first kiss was breathtakingly spectacular.
As Homura teases her with the sushi she makes playful little attempts to nip at it with her lips, intentionally missing a few times before giving her a playful little pout, slightly jutting her bottom lip. Her eyes aren't quite puppydog sad, instead being filled with the wonder of young love as she thinks all those thoughts about how amazing it is to have Homura as her girlfriend, and all the things she likes about her. "I'm glad you're enjoying it as much as I am, Homura-chan," she replies lovingly. "I think any idea of what we can do together is going to be a wonderful one."
She lifts up whatever piece of sushi Homura asked for, giving her egg to be gentle on her tongue after the strong eel if she didn't want anything specific or wanted surprised, and makes to feed it to her at the same time while trying to emote her love through a look in her eyes alone.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
"All of my wonderful dreams are about you, Madoka-chan." Homura slyly leans in, resting her head on Madoka's shoulder. "You are my wonderful dream." The touch doesn't last long, because Homura doesn't want to get carried away, but for a moment Madoka might be able to feel Homura's hair brushing against her back.
Homura isn't really sweet-talking either. She adores Madoka, and being able to spend time like this is something she's wanted for a long time. Their current relationship has far outlasted the length of any previous timeloop's relationship, and has been a lot closer and sweeter than before. It's not something that she'll quickly forget, and even if Homura's grief was taken away, Madoka is still fulfilling a very deep need in her.
Besides, if Homura doesn't find some way of expressing her love she feels like she'll burst or something.
Besides, Madoka did accomplish something, especially in this timeloop. Homura started off so clearly depressed that people were actually worried about her, and from there she became the happy girl she is now. There were a few people involved in that transformation, and Madoka was one of them, and Homura made a lot of choices based upon Madoka's wishes, because Madoka was that important to her.
"Ohhh..." Homura looks up, and then back at Madoka with an impish grin. "Surprise me, my dear." She picks up the mackerel as asked.
Madoka certainly does manage to bring out the shyness in Homura. The veteran Puella Magi has experience in a lot of areas, but prior to a month ago romance wasn't one of them. It almost makes her feel vulnerable sometimes.
Once Madoka has a bit of sushi for Homura, Homura's chopsticks draw closer to Madoka. "I agree. We always have a wonderful time together, don't we? I think I could find happiness in anything, as long as you were there with me."
She feeds Madoka and gets fed at the same time, tasting the eggs and smiling sweetly at Madoka. The love in Homura's purple eyes is passionate and sweet, and true to her name there is very much a fire behind it.
