For a seemingly ill-intentioned(???) magical-girl, Miss White is fairly easy to draw out. Being a semi-public figure now, she really has no excuse, and with work finally slowing down to a crawl an escape from the office building after yesterday night's disaster is a welcome change.
Thus, she's found a somewhat empty coffee shop to take up residence in for the moment, devouring energy-granting roasted bean juice with purely indecent haste for how overpriced it all is. She has a meeting to attend here, after all, with one of the magical girls who helped out. One she remembered from the bank robbery.
Dressed in her newfound white suit, Barrier Jacket on her shoulders, she whistles lightly. Despite the displays of nonchalance, inwardly, remembering having to help the sobbing Basu bury her friend was not a pleasant experience.
By contrast, meeting with a potentially hostile and unknown girl such as Cure Drive is a walk in the park. Outside, Boris sits in a black sedan in human form, ready to grab his mistress and haul on out at a moments notice.
All in all, there's plenty of tables and chairs inside the quaint little shop, and the single employee there seems to only peek in long enough to serve coffe. It's as if Hannah bribed him to see absolutely nothing.

Cure Drive sighs a little bit and has a whole lot more questions now this time, and they are all stored in her head as she makes her way down the side-walk with people looking at her. She feels funny in the dress she is wearing, but heck, it is a part of her as Cure Drive.
It doesn't take Drive long to get to the coffee shop, and even pushes the door open as she steps in. She takes not of the black sedan, that looks oh so familiar from last night, but dismisses it for the time being.
She falls in next to Miss White, then turns as she moves around the table to sit in front of the other girl on the opposite side of it. She fixes her dress a little bit so that sitting is a little more comfortable, and the dress is nothing fancy at all. In fact, it seems to be made rather light, and fits for how she fights. She didn't bring her bo-staff, so that must be a good thing, right?
Drive speaks in a quiet tone that only Miss White should be able to hear, "What is a grief seed and what is it used for?"
- Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Miss White, as she hears the girl settling in, 'looks' over and smiles. Raging Tempest sits in her pocket, doing little more right now than giving her 'sight' and a magical disguise.
"...Right down to business, hmm? You are no fun, 'Cure Drive'!" She tries, but her voice falls flat. A sigh.
Her voice lowers, as well, even as she crosses her legs and adjusts her tie.
Miss White ponders. How much could she tell? Well, she'll take it piece by piece, thinking on just what /Homura/ would tell the girl.
"Simple enough. A grief seed is the byproduct of a slain witch, as you saw. A container of magical energy. Give one to a Puella Magi like those girls last night? They pay a high price for their magic. Their 'soul gem' goes entirely black, they die. A Grief Seed can be used to purify those Soul Gems. Think of it like magical Bleach for the soul." She explains. Simple enough, really.
"So if you see one? Either find a Puella Magi, and give it to them, or bring them to me."
- Naga Amaya (53) has posed:
Drive isn't done yet, "I don't think that is a good enough explanation though.. Another person asked if I was there to help you last night. I can't really say I was as I was just looking to get rid of that darned witch.." She sighs a little bit..
Her attention turns toward a waitress that comes over to her, "Green tea, please. Just make it plain." She smiles a little bit, not really giving the waitress a chance to talk.
Drive turns her attention back to Miss White, "Bring them to you, for what?" Cure Drive is wearing her game face, and she wants answers. Her tone lowers down some more, "Robbing a bank isn't exactly something a good person would do.."
- Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Miss White sips her coffee as she thinks. Thankfully, the waitress gives them a little respite, and soon, Cure Drive has a green tea to occupy herself with! The girl before her doesn't take too long before answering.
"When did I ever say I was a good person? You saw it yourself. I know plenty of Puella through my work. Some I even consider friends. I would prefer them alive, if that is all the same."
Then, the woman shrugs, and smirks.
"The rest is my business. Why are you interested?"
- Naga Amaya (53) has posed:
"I guess asking you was the wrong idea, why would you tell me? I thought I would try anyways." She shrugs a little bit, "Oh, and if it isn't obvious already, I'm not joining you."
"Other than that, you don't seem to be a bad person... We can be friends, but of course, I can't help you with your evil people work." She smirks a bit.
"Maybe we should of went for some cake instead..."
- Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Miss White laughs.
"Trade secrets, kiddo! Hard to be an 'Evil Direct of Special Interests' if you go spilling what you have up your sleeve at the drop of a pin, right?" Teases the woman, confidence pushing its way to the fore.
Her head dips a little at that.
"Fah, I always like new prospects. You sure about that? 401k, five figures at your age, benefits?" Given her grin, she's still just playing with the girl, though only partially.
Then she just shrugs.
"Hey, I /love/ friends! And enemies, and those caught in between. 'Good'? 'Bad'? I leave that to others to decide. I just do what I have to in order to obtain what I want out of this world." The last word is spat out in pure contempt.
There's a hand being offered to shake.
"Give me pasta any day, good for high-energy-burning activities. Being a magical girl is one good workout regimine!"
"Anyway, time to do this properly: call me Miss White. Or Director White, or Kasagami White...no real difference. OH, and before you waste your time looking into it: no, none of them are my real name."
She tilts her head. "I /am/ curious though. Can you tell me anything about you Cures? Two way street, of course: no need to answer if you think it will hurt you or any friends you might have. Mmm...you could call me something of a magical scholar, or scientist, in a way."
- Naga Amaya (53) has posed:
Drive blinks a few times, and takes Miss White's hand, "Cure Drive, and no. I can't really tell you anything. It's a trade secret." She teases right back.
Drive seems to be thinking about the offer, but only playfully, "Nope, I think I am good, and it just isn't my thing. Business and work would be too complicated right now. Besides, I have too much fun being the tough girl in school.. It keeps people from really picking on me."
"Pasta isn't everything, I hope you plan on getting a little bit of chicken with that at least, or maybe fish?" She smirks a bit, "Beef and pork is bad for ya.."
"Anyways, a little bit about me, I can tell you. I fight for what I think is right, even if that sounds selfish, I'm not so selfish a person. I will fight for what good if intentions are good. I can't go against you on the grief seeds, but I can help eliminate witches. However... If I figure out if giving you the grief seeds is a bad thing, you better plan on me getting in the way.. The those Puella people? Did I say that right? Well, if they need it, I will help them get what they need. As I said last night, and I will do my best to keep that promise I made."
"My drive to do what is right will not be surpassed. I will motivate those who feel down, or the beaten to do better. Even possibly drive someone to do some good.." With that she gives Miss White a kind smile, "Now, how about not charging if you are going to help out those girls.. I hope you're not going to move to America and become a doctor. I read about horror stories from that country about how much they want in payment to save a life.." She shudders a bit, though acting it..
- Hannah Sharpe has posed:
A firm shake, upon calloused hands. She might be a big-shot corporate worker now, but this girl has definitely known work. Whether it's menial or more violent, may be hard to tell.
"A pleasure! Gotcha, gotcha! Well, real friends respect proper secrets until they become life-threatening. So let us go with that for now." A small nod, and the subject seems dropped.
"Besides, more fun to have some intrigue, right?"
Hannah leans back, sighing a bit.
"Complicated. I can understand that. God. I average around four hours sleep these days, so, you will not hear any complaints on that end." She knows it's a tease, but the thought of venting is too tempting after last night. The 'villainess' is definitely vulnerable, and from the crease of her brow, she knows it. Annoying.
"Puella Magi, yes. I could tell you more, but honestly, everything is a little touchy. Those girls lead very dangerous lives, and you could say I have an obligation to protect them in a way." A shrug here.
"A real knight in shining armor, going out, slaying dragons, fighting evil warriors...what a fairy tale. I like your attitude, I do. I wonder...when the realities of this world start to catch up to you, when it begins to hammer away at your heart and soul, will you endure? Seeing friends and family die, being unable to save people? Will you still confront me with that kind of conviction?" There's not exactly malice in her tone, but a world-weary voice that's tinged with anger, regrets, and sadness.
She doesn't give much of an opportunity to answer. "Is that so? Well, if you can live up to that, color me surprised. I know a thing or two about ambition. You could say it is part of what defines me as a Mage."
The thought of not charging earns Cure Drive a laugh, long and hard.
"Wow, you really /are/ green, kiddo! Not charging for my services is a nice little fantasy. Let me give you an idea of what I do: I find little magical girls that have no idea what they are doing and rush in to their deaths like Masaka-san did last night. I train them, sometimes equip them, get them in contact with people who know people that can help ensure they know something of what they need and will face. Then, I take them out hunting for what they need, in exchange for items of interest to me and money. Do you really think all of the resources needed for that kind of thing comes for /free/!? If I did not charge, not only would those girls not have a growing network and business that specializes in cultivating them as magical girls and boys, but the mundane side of the business would dry up too. All of those office workers who have no clue I am anything but some genius financial girl would love their livelihoods. And no more ability to /really/ instill some sense into people who live lives full of death and pain so that /maybe/ they can live a bit longer with burdens that they DO. NOT. DESERVE!" Her hand slams down, and the table cracks. Teeth gritted, Miss White 'stares' at the girl, before slumping backwards.
"...Sorry. Last night took a toll on us all. In short, those girls and I both win with this arrangement."
- Naga Amaya (53) has posed:
Drive's face seems pretty neutral at this point... "You said it yourself... Burdens that they do not deserve.." Her eyes looking right into Miss White's. "Try to run a bit of a charity every once in a while at least."
"Sorry if I don't seem to care, but I do care about what happened last night. I wish there was something I could have done to stop it, and I am sure I might have possibly been able to do something if I would get some training of my own.. However, it will not be from you, but other Cures.."
"I try to stay emotionally reserved so that I can stay in control of myself, but we all loose it at some point. There is no need to say sorry. Unlike those girls, I have chosen to put my life in danger. I thought about it, and it is what I wanted. I want to use my strength for the sake of others.." She finally takes a sip of her tea, despite how long it has been sitting there.
"I will show you that I have no intentions of backing down from what I said, and I will not waver from it. I was given this power because of my resolve to help others." She closes her eyes, "Which includes both good and evil alike, though I know there is no helping some, I will do this to the best of my ability."
- Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Miss White feels that gaze upon her, but only smiles a touch wider in response.
"Sorry, charity is one thing I lack utterly. Anyone who is not willing to at least drag themselves up with all of their strength, are nothing but garbage. I have every intention of offering a hand up. Hand outs are something that can come from people with hearts less jaded." She offers, matching the other girl's tone.
"Not your fault. I should have told those two to shove off. That girl's life is on my hands." She comes quietly, speaking words she's thought a thousand times over.
"Bluntly, training a Cure is beyond our capabilities. For now, anyway. No worries, though. With enough data, even that could be accounted for." A smirk here, her confidence returning.
Then, she belts out another laugh, sipping as she gets more coffee.
"Do you have any idea how much pain and suffering you are in for? What about yourself? Spare any thought inwards? If all you do is try to actually save someone, an impossible task at the first, and never worry for your own sake? You will die. Painfully and horribly, and do you really think those people you bled for will actually think or come to your side? You deluded fool. Really, I feel sorry for you." Eyes close, and she shakes her head sadly here. Then she raises her coffee cup.
"To insane, ambitious girls with hearts of iron, and foolish, golden-hearted girls fated to die in agony! May we meet in whatever life awaits us in the next!"
- Naga Amaya (53) has posed:
Drive reaches into her pocket and pulls out some money, setting it on the table to pay for her own drink. She has just lost her appetite for anything that might have tasted good, or bad at this point. "I will show you what us iron willed, foolish, and golden-hearted girls are capable of."
With that, Drive moves to get to her feet and straightens out her dress a little bit. "Ahh... There we go." She stretches some as well, "I hope you have a lovely evening. Lets meet for some cake next time, and not get so gloomy."
"It was a pleasure meeting you, Miss White, but I must be going.." She doesn't give Miss White any time to respond as she quickly makes her way out of the coffee shop.
