Froggy Pictures

Location:	Uminari City - Seishou Public School
Synopsis:	Kaeru meets Momo again after a few years, and the two go taking pictures of frogs at the pond. And even maybe a secret magical blue frog.

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
The bell rang for classes to let out for the day, and the reactions of the students were varied. Some ran like going home was a release from prison, some hung back as if this was a sanctuary, some walked determinedly towards other parts of the school building, and some of them didn't really seem to know what they were doing. It was, of course, chaos.

Momo was using the fact that she was a younger student to navigate through the throng and towards the door of the school. Well, sort of using it. She was mostly getting stuck between people over and over, and having to apologise profusely every time she knocked someone over because someone else had just pushed them into their legs.

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
A blue-haired girl emerges. Swim team's off today due to weather so she is just starting to head home (with a side-trip to her favorite pond to sing with the frogs). She suddenly has a little pink-haired girl run into her legs and almost knocks her over - with her being taller than most, she just didn't see her. She blinks. "Oh, is that you, Momo-chan?" she asks. "I haven't seen you in a while - c'mon, let's get out of the crowd." She tries to pull Momo over to the side to let the rest of the kids clear out.

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Confusion flashed across Momo's face, because she didn't know this person who clearly knew her. She did let her tug her out of the way, because it was starting to be apparent she wasn't getting anywhere and the girl was older than her to start with. Looking up at the blue-haired girl with her own pink eyes, she puzzled over who she might be. "Hi. I'm Akatsuki Momo.".

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
Kaeru Aokawa blinks. "You don't remember me? Oh - you were so little. I'm Kaeru Aokawa. I'm a fried of your sister's... we played the Prism Keeper game tgoether, along with Hoshi, Chouko, Reiko... you begged to join so we made you Pink in our little game since that's your hair color..."

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Comprehension dawned on Momo's face....

...Very slowly, but once it did, she smiled a bright smile at Kaeru. "Oh! I think I remember you! You were the Yellow one, right?". Momo, completely oblivious to the facts right in front of her.

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
Kaeru Aokawa shows her hair. "We're color-coded. I'm Blue. And yes, this is my normal hair color." She smiles softly. "I'm the one who loves frogs. I haven't seen you in a while - what are your interests? Do you have any?" she asks.

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Momo Akatsuki 's eyes light up at the question and she lifts the camera from around her neck. "I take pictures! Do you want me to take your picture? It can c-com-commera-... That one word the moment of our meeting again!".

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
Kaeru Aokawa smiles. "Why don't you come with me - there's a pond nearby and the weater's nice and damp - maybe you can take a picture of af rog. There's no blue frogs around here - they're rare -but even green ones are fun..." She smiles as she grabs her umbrella, just ni case, and starts headnig out.

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Momo Akatsuki follows along behind Kaeru, her eyes wide at the prospect of frogs. "Are there pink ones?". If there were pink ones, maybe they aren't as icky as she thinks most frogs are. Still, she lifted her camera into the air, up to chest level, so that she was ready to take a picture the moment a good shot presented itself.

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
Kaeru Aokawa hmmmmmms. "Well, the poison-dart frogs of South America come in all colors, but can't be touched. I just heard about a pink and yellow frog that was found in Vietnam just a couple of years ago." She smiles softly as they arrive at the pond. She kneeos down, and starts making very frog-like sounds

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Momo Akatsuki blinks at Kaeru making frog-noises, but she lifts up her camera and moved a few steps over for a good picture of her doing it. Right as she goes to take the picture though, a frog jumps up between her and Kaeru, completely cutting off the picture anf giving Momo a nice shot of green tummy.

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
Kaeru Aokawa smiles as teh frog does jump into her hands as she pets it and ribbits softly. "Want to hold it?" she asks softly as she then turns to face Momo, holding the frog carefully in her hands. "Take my picture?" she asks.

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Momo Akatsuki shakes her head at the question of holding it, but she does step back and lift the camera in front of her eyes when Kaeru asks for a picture to be taken. She aligns it slowly, watching the little screen on the front of it with as much focus as a seven year old can muster. "Say cheese?".

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
Kaeru Aokawa smiles and says 'Ribbit!' and winks as the frog obligingly ribbits in tune. A blue frog appears somehow, sitting on Kaeru's left shoe. It is looking at you curiously as she waits for the camera to be snapped.

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
The camera flashes, capturing the moment and leaving Momo slightly startled as she looks at the screen afterwards. "Kaeru, there was one of those blue frogs you said are rare on your shoe!".

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
Kaeru Aokawa blinks. "Oh really?" she asks as she looks down. "Well hi there!" she cooos as she picks it up. It ribbits softly and starts a conversation wtih the green frog. "Hmmmm. Guess they're more wide-spread than I thought." She smiles, knowing that your seeing it meanst hat you are special too. She ponders as she goes lost ni thought. Maybe you're going to be a prism keeper too. She smiles softly. "They like each other..." she muses.

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Lifting a brow, Momo looks at Kaeru with skepticism. "How can you tell if one frog likes another frog? They just say ribbit.". Momo wasn't much for imagining frogs talking, or even understanding frogs.

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
Kaeru Aokawa shrugs. "Because they're not trying to fight each other and they sound happy." She gazes. "My mother is a herpetologist. She is a scientist who studies frogs and has taught me much." She sets teh two down and the blue one hops over to sit on your foot.

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Momo Akatsuki stares down at her own foot, gulping a little. "Aokawa-san.... It's on my foot...". She lifted her little foot, trying to wiggle it around and discourage the frog from staying there.

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
The frog just stares up at you, ribbits rather rudely and hops off into the pond. "I think you made it mad," she muses Kaeru as the green frog hops back into the pond. " Oh, look!" she cooos. "Some tadpoles," she whispers, as she squints, seeing the little wigglers.

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Momo Akatsuki leans down to peer in the water and see the tadpoles too. She raked her eyes around, and giggled when she saw a few of them. "They look like little black dots with squigglies.".

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
Kaeru Aokawa nods. "Yeah. Those are baby frogs..." She smiles. "Can you take a picture of a few of them?" she asks.

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Momo Akatsuki lifts her camera without hesitation and starts snapping pictures of the little tadpoles in the water. She has to fiddle with it and zoom a little bit though.

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
Kaeru Aokawa smiles. "One day they'll grow legs and lungs and leave the water behind full-time..." She sighs softly. "It's such a cool way of growing up... but must be very stressful."

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Momo Akatsuki lifts up, dusting her elbows and knees off while making sure her uniform isn't dirty. "I think it would be sorta just 'oh hey I'm a froggy now.'.".

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
Kaeru Aokawa nods. "Yeah. Maybe so. I wonder if the adult frogs talk to their students. Or teaches them." She hmmmms softly. "Well, wanna get going home? You still live at teh same place, right? And have you heard from Mei lately?"

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Momo Akatsuki blinks at Kaeru when she asks about Mei, pouting a little. "Mei-neesan is still hone, but she'll be back! I'm staying at our house with some weird relatives, but they're nice even though they're weird.".

Kaeru Aokawa nods. "Yeah - I hope so. We all miss her..." she muses softl, clicking her tongue softly. "I mean - we all stayed close - do you remember the Prism Keeper game? You must've been so tiny that you probably don't..."

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Momo Akatsuki chews her bottom lip in thought. "I remember getting to be Pink because mama made Mei-neesan let me join in.".

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
Kaeru Aokawa nods. "Yeah... you didn't do much with us though other than poitning your finger and saying 'bang' a lot. But none of us really minded. At least I thought it was cute."

Momo Akatsuki has posed:
Momo Akatsuki lifts her hand and points it at Kaeru. "Bang!". She starts to giggle a little bit at the thought. "Hopefully Mei-neesan will come back and we can play again sometime. I'll definitely remember this time.".

Kaeru Aokawa has posed:
Kaeru Aokawa nods. "Maybe so..." she muses softly as she reaches her hand, and starts to walk you home.
