1318/Shopping day, Round 2!

Shopping day, Round 2!
Date of Scene:	03 April 2016
Location:	Uminari City - Shopping Strip
Synopsis:	Chloe and Rena try to have a youma-free shoping day. Instead they meet a new friend.

Chloe Stingray has posed:
    After the Events of a few days ago, Chloe went shopping with Cathy, and just Cathy in the shopping district. Not surprisingly, Cathy saw the whole thing from the window while the others were too scared fo move. So Cathy has been bombarding Chloe with questions most of the day. One time, Chloe actually told Cathy to let it go in class.

Now Chloe and Cathy try round two of shopping. Chloe's rubbing her face as Cathy seems to ask fewer questions now as they start for the game center. Perhaps a few video games would take Cathy's mind off of Chloe.....and the new Sailor V video game.

Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai Souma is feeling a little bit more tired today than usual. He's been up late, out often, and not sleeping as much as he usually did, but so far his training and roadwork is keeping him energetic, if not quite as genki as usual. Today he's decided to take a trip through the shopping district to pick up a few things that've been on his mind, so he's walking through the shopping district with a couple braid-handled paper bags, nearing the video game and electronics store.

Usually Kukai never plays many video games - he doesn't own a console, and he's usually outside most of the time - but he does like stopping in and looking around when he goes past. The spectacle and flashy lights from the screens are pretty awesome, and any game that requires body movement or action tends to be right up his alley.

Rena Sakai has posed:
DING DING DING!!! ROUND TWO!

Thats right it's round two for Rena as well. Turns out her Pineapple/Mango Shortbread cookies were a big hit! She needed more of both ingredients! That meant coming back to the shopping strip and tracking down the vendor again.

Dabble is with her again. Turns out after the previous events, She seems to think that she needs to be close by in case things go sideways again. "I'm just saying, You shouldn't go out without me. After that crazy dancer youma, things might get a little more crazy. Its been a while since we seen Craft and you put on a pretty big show. You might have gotten his attention." The fairy states as she tinkers with a little material.

"Oh come on, Dabble it wasn't that bad. It's not like I got a siren on my head or flashing lights. How would Craft know anything. Its not like he's wired into the whole city. He'd actually have to know about wires and such. He's probably back on Gearwork groveling to keep his job or something." Rena retorts as she continues moving, She stops at a stand and cants her head, "Huh? Do you think Rutabaga could be used to make some sort of confectionary? I've not encountered it before." Looking at the Vendor she gives a smile, "May we taste some of this?" She asks curiously, knowing that the answer is probably no.

Chloe Stingray has posed:
    Tilting her head, Chloe tells Cthy to have fun and she'll be right back. The reason why is obvious, Chloe has spotted Rena again. Just as Chloe starts moving towards Rena, Cathy spins Chloe around with a trail of smoke behind her as she rushes up to Rena. "hiyouweresocoolyesterdaythankyouforthosecookiesthankyouthankyouthankyou!" Cathy squeals out as she grabs a hold of Rena's arm.

Chloe, finally making her way over to Rena, physically tugs Cathy off of Rena's arm. "Cathy....remember what we talked about?" 'Oh right. I'm sorry.' Cathy says to Rena. Chloe chuckles before she looks to Rena with an 'I'm Sorry' look'.

Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai Souma turns the corner just in time to have a girl sprint past him. A quick backstep keeps him from running into her as she streams past. He grins faintly and looks to where she's running - then blinks. He's pretty sure he knows who she was running towards... What was her name again?

He moves up behind Chloe and Cathy as they ambush Rena and gives her a smile. "... Hello! Rion, was it? Sorry, it's been a busy month. I can't remember." Daichi waves at Rena from Kukai's shoulder.

Rena Sakai has posed:
To say Rena is startled is to say water is wet! She is suddenly very large eyed and and flailing a little. Dabble is startled to. The bearlike plush fairy eeps! And then drops to the ground.

Its a good thing the strawberry blonde didn't react with her Henshin. That could have been disasterous. Instead, she pulls herself together and giggles a little before bowing politely to Cathy and then Chloe. "Oh umm, Thank you! You're most welcome! Would you like some more? I made some really yummy cookies this morning. Pineapple Mango shortbread. They are really addicting!"

She kneels down and unshoulders her bag. Using the bag to block what she is doing, she picks up Dabble to make sure she is okay. The fairy shakes it off and takes flight again. Then she gets out the cookies. "Also What do you mean I was so cool? I just gave out cookies. Not like I was out braving that weird storm right?" A little blush fills her cheeks over that one. And then Suddenly there is a familiar face. Quickly she gives a polite bow, "Souma-san! Its Rena, Rena Sakai. Its been a while. How are you?" She gives a little wink to Daichi and then, there goes Dabble. She flies over and hangs out with the little guardian character.

Dabble cants her head as she looks over Daichi, "What in blazes are you?! Wait, you look like one of those ones that was with Utau. That one is a real meany!"

Rena smiles a little to Chloe, "Hows it going? I haven't gotten to speak with my friends yet. Sorry about that Chloe-chan."

Chloe Stingray has posed:
    "DOn't even worry about it, Rena." Chloe says with a smile, but then she looks to Cathy. "Cathy swears that you were that fire steam girl that was fighting along with me yesterday, Rena. I keep telling her it's not you." She says as she rolls her eyes, out of sight of Cathy. "but, she can't be convinced otherwise for some strange reason."

She seemed ready to say something else when Kukai walks his way up, and Cathy is instantly distracted. Chloe steps out of Cathy's sight and smiles. "hey Dabble." She whispers before looking to Rena. "She saw me change, and is moderately good at keeping secrets, but I didn't tell her it was you, Rena. She also has a gigantic fascination with magical girls. She even Cosplays as Sailor Mars at times. The last thing you want is her finding out." She then chuckles a bit, before she looks over towards Kukai and....Daichi on his shoulder. "Am I seeing.......is that like Dabble?"

Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai Souma grins sheepishly, full of confidence and self-assurance, eyes closed for a moment, as he rubs the back of his head, embarrassed. "Rena! Right! I'm so sorry - I can't believe I forgot! It's been a really, really, really long month." He looks over at her bags, then grins. "Still giving out cookies to everybody you see, huh?"

He nods to Chloe and Cathy, smiling at them. "Hello! My name's Kukai. It's a pleasure to meet you both!" He looks down at Cathy, giving Chloe a second to talk to Rena, and nods to her. "I met Rena a few weeks ago - she's an excellent baker, isn't she?"

Daichi hovers over towards Dabble and nods. "Yeah! I'm a Guardian Chara! You met Iru and Utau-chan, huh? Iru's mean, but Eru's nice, when she comes out..." Kukai looks over for a moment when Daichi mentions Utau, frowning just a touch.

Rena Sakai has posed:
Rena smirks playfully, "Well You know I could just let her know. Its not like it's a huge secret and I doubt she is on any terms with Craft." She giggles a little. Would she actually out herself to someone she doesn't know? Most likely. She is pretty carefree about that sort of thing.

Dabble smiles, "I'm a fairy from Gearwork! Thats my home world. I came here to find someone who could help us. I found Rena but I dunno if she's got what it takes."

A hand reaches up and flicks the fairy. "Be nice Dabble." Rena turns to Kukai and gives a soft sigh, "Yeah, I have a little history with Utau-san. I met her when she arrived and I sorta rescued Iru. Iru fell into the ocean and I went after her. Then when I met them again, I was sorta in a show with Utau-san. Its also when I met Dabble. Utau sided with craft and tried to help him capture Dabble. They didn't expect me to... well. Become more then a the villain in a school play." She shrugs and fishes out some cookies to give to Kukai and Chloe.

"So how is everything, Kukai?" The strawberry blonde girl asks.

Chloe Stingray has posed:
    "More for Cathy's safety, I think. If this Craft person took her prisoner and all that. this way, she's mostly safe, I think." Chloe says softly before looking to Kukai. "hello. I'm Chloe." She says to Kukai as Cathy practically vibrates upon hearing this guys name. "HiI'mCathynicetomeetyouoohisthatyourrealhaircanItouchit?" Chloe puts her hand on Cathy's shoulder. "Cathy. Be yourself please. You might freak him out if you keep going on like this." She says as she takes a pair of cookies. "here, have a cookie." And Cathy happily munches it.....and sighing as she goes into a zen mode. mmmmmcookie.

Chloe takes a deep breath and chuckles. "My best friend from the states." She says rubbing her face. "Yeah. I'm Chloe, she's Cathy. And yeah, you should be nice, Dabble." She says when Cathy is out of earshot. "You two need each other, as I recall..."

Kukai Souma has posed:
Daichi ooohs and nods at Dabble. "Wow. Somebody else from another world, Kukai!" He gives Dabble a big thumbs up.

Kukai grins at Cathy and shrugs, leaning over a bit. "Sure, it's my real hair. Why wouldn't it be?" It's just sort of stuck out everywhere in the most artful of ways, nothing strange about that, nope.

He nods, then shakes his head. "Utau-chan and I have.. history. She's really nice, and..." He looks away for a moment. "Well. She's really nice when she's not working for Easter, put it that way. She's like.." He looks over at Cathy. "There's two different versions of her, depending on what she's doing at the time. I just wish she'd let her angels guide her more instead of always following her devils. But I understand her, at least, I think I do."

He smiles and gives Chloe a thumbs-up in greeting. "Chloe! It's good to meet you." He looks back to Cathy. "Oh, from America? I know a little English, sort of..." He smiles to Cathy. "<Hello! It is good to meet you! I am Kukai.>"

Rena Sakai has posed:
"<A pleasure to meet you again Cathy.>" Rena states in English as well. "My mom is English. From the UK." She giggles a little before looking to Chloe, "She is actually very safe from Craft. I don't see her pretending to be someone else. She seems to be herself and that keeps her safe from him. He only goes after people he can turn to cogs in the machine." She shakes her head. "But still I won't mention it."

Dabble rolls her eyes, "I don't like Utau-san or Il! Both are mean and want to send me back with Red Tree! I don't want that ever. They are so mean. They want to put me in a cage and make sure they go unchallenged!"

"I won't let that happen, Dabble. You are safe with me. If they try anything I swear I will set the whole organization on fire. They have no right to you. Not here nor anywhere. Maybe we can save the other Sentinels." Rena gives a little sigh before she smirks a little. "I got an idea. I will be back in a few minutes. If anyone asks, I was checking out the new Sailor V game at the Crown." She winks playfully and slips off.

Dabble goes with and whispers to her, "Are you really going to do what I think you're going to do."

Rena smirks, "Of course."

Chloe Stingray has posed:
    Cathy jumps as both of them speak english, which she does too. She also giggles and responds in English with a 'Glad to meet you' as well. Chloe smirks. "We'er both fluent in Japanese and English, at least. It wouldn't do to move here and not learn the language." She says to Kukai before she watches Rena amble off. "What's she doing?" She mouths to Kukai, so Cathy doesn't hear, as Cathy is watching Rena slide off as well.

Kukai Souma has posed:
Daichi shakes his head. "Utau-chan is nice when Eru is guiding her, but she doesn't listen to her very much. She's hiding in her egg now.." The little Chara looks upset even by the idea.

Kukai looks at Rena as she mentions 'save the other Sentinels' and huhs, then Rena's dipping out for a moment. "Aaaahhhoookay."

He looks over at Chloe and Cathy and grins. "Ah, ok! Excellent! I'm not nearly as good at English as I should be, but I think that goes for most of my studies." He leans over closer to Chloe and whispers sotto voce to her as well. "I have no idea."

Rena Sakai has posed:
"Lets do it!" Rena states as they find a private area. "Aether Spirit, SHINE!" Everything around her shifts and goes all colors and clockwork as Dabble puts a face on her watch. Her clothing quickly changes as she speaks, "The fire which melts the coldest heart, Steam Sentinel Joy!" Then the lightshow ends leaving Joy there with Dabble. "Lets go make someone's day."

With that, She exits out the back of the building. Then its up onto the roof, down a few buildings and ground level. She quickly comes up behind Kukai, Cathy, and of course Chloe. "Hello there. Weren't you here the other day?"

Dabble happens to be hiding behind Joy as she mutters, "I can't believe you are doing this. Isn't this an abuse of power or something?" Rena just ignores that comment as she stands there looking like a regular hero.

Chloe Stingray has posed:
    Chloe turns around to find Joy there. She doesn't get a chance to answer before Cathy cuts in front of her, and her eyes are opened wide in awe. "Oh my GOSH! Joy! Hi!" She's speaking a lot slower now as she drinks in every since inch of her face with wide open eyes. Joy has certainly made Cathy's day....perhaps lifetime now. "I'm a gigantic fan of magical girls! I almost wish I WAS one! All of you are so beautiful!" Chloe's standing behind Cathy and she mouths 'yes she does!'

Chloe smiles towards Joy. "Thank you for helping me and my friends get out of danger, Joy. Thank you, very much. If it wasn't for you, I don't know what to think of what could've happened to my friends." Cathy looks behind her, but doesn't say anything....yet.

Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai Souma turns around to see - welp, it's a magical girl. "Oh, wow! Hello!" He watches Cathy dive forward, then shrugs and nudges Chloe. "It's not a bad thing to encourage someone's dreams. That's the entire purpose of Guardians Charas and Bearers." He nods, then speaks up. "Hey, you saved this girl and her friends? That's really impressive!"

Daichi just sits on Kukai's shoulder and giggles, finding this all really funny for some reason.

Rena Sakai has posed:
Joy gives a smile and blushes almost as bright as her nearly pink hair at this point. Ahh the joys of a henshin tweaking hair color. Dabble flies out around the magical girl and pokes her tongue out at Kukai. Yup, its Rena in there!

The Sentinel looks at Cathy and smiles, "Thank you. Being a magical girl is really something else. Its not all its cracked up to be at times though. We all have enemies. Those enemies want to cause us trouble. My best friend was attacked and turned into a monster. That is how it goes. Sure we get to look awesome and stuff but, its not all sunshine, rainbows and fire beams." She laughs a little at that one. "Just remember, at the end of the day, we are just like everyone else and that is a good thing." She giggles

Turning to Chloe she smiles ans gives a little wink. "You would have been fine on your own. I just wasn't about to sit by and let a crazy ballerina youma pick a fight with people. I am just happy I could help. I wish I could of done more but, at least its gone now."

She gives a smile and a nod to Kukai then its back to Cathy, "Listen now, You say you wish you were a magical girl. I say you already are one. You are true to yourself. That makes you stand out. You don't need powers and cute outfits to save the day. You can do amazing things just by being yourself. Use your joy and energy to help others! A single smile can be the most powerful magic any of us know."

Chloe Stingray has posed:
    Cathy almost seems like she's going to explode at any moment! but when Joy says she's already magical, Cathy almost looks confused. "How can I be magical when I can't be like you?" Chloe smiles to Cathy and puts a hand on her shoulder. "Cathy, do just what she said....be yourself. When you're not spazzing out over magical girls, like Sailor Moon and that bunch, you're pretty wonderful yourself. Heck, you even help me through those Calculus questions that I'll never get the hang of. Geometry too." She then looks into Cathy's eyes. "And you're one of my personal heroes. If you weren't here, I think I'd be a little freaked out myself." Cathy smiles and hugs Chloe without hesitation, and Chloe looks to Joy and winks to her, Dabble, and Kukai and his Chara as well.

Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai Souma nods as Joy speaks, listening to her. She's right about a lot of things. He notes Dabble flying around her and gives the little bear fairy a nod and smile, before looking to Cathy and Chloe. "Your hopes and dreams give you plenty of power to do what you most desire. When you can express that to other people with happiness, that's magical." He laughs. "And if you're that good at calculus and geometry you're certainly magical! I'm so bad at those."

Even though she can't see it, Daichi is cheering for Cathy and Chloe both.

Rena Sakai has posed:
"Magical powers and cute outfit just make a person with magic and a cute outfit. There are people out there who have both and they aren't good at all. They are flat out evil. What makes a person a hero is what they do with what they have." Joy gives a bright smile and offers to give Cathy a hug.

Dabble gives a smile, "You did have to do this. I'm sorry I doubted you." She quickly flies over and lands on Joy's shoulder. "You're a Steam Sentinel. You do what you know is right and I won't argue. I promise!" The fairy is very content given her usual mischievous nature.

"Well, I suppose I should be off. I don't see any monsters around at the moment and I'd hate to wind up drawing the attention of one." She gives a little wave. "Have a lovely day!" With that she launches herself upward and jumps onto a building. Quickly she vanishes from view.

A few minutes later, Rena returns from a different direction of course. She happens to be carrying a small piece notebook. "Well, That was interesting. Some girl in strange clothes gave me this and said to give it to a friend. I don't exactly use tablets except for writing recipes and I got one of those already so... Here!" She hands it to Cathy. Its brand new and in it, there is a pen and an Autograph. It reads 'Remember, Always be true to yourself! - Steam Sentinel Joy.' "Weird huh?"

Chloe Stingray has posed:
    Cathy beams at Chloe as Joy offers to give her a hug. Joy will find that Cathy is a wonderful hugger and she squeezes, but never too hard. She then lets Joy go and watches her, in rapt fascination as she flies away. Chloe smiles to Joy as she flies away, but then looks to Cathy, especially when Rena comes back with the notebook. Cathy is.....beaming at the notebook. "thank you." She says with a shaky voice as she holds the notebook against her chest. Chloe smirks at Rena and whispers in her ear. 'you realize you now have a fangirl, right?" Cathy grins to Kukai, but only because he's in the same direction as where her hereo went.

Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai Souma leans back as Joy leaps into the air, zipping off into the distance, letting out a laugh as she zooms into the distance. "Wow." He sees Rena hand the notebook over to Cathy and grins, moving out of the girl's line of sight to where she was looking into the distance after her new heroine, and reaches over, patting Rena on the shoulder and giving her a quick, stealthy thumbs up and leaning in to speak quietly. "You did good."

He leans back, thinks for a moment, then shrugs. "Hey, I was thinking I'd go find a snack or something. Would the three of you like to join me? My treat." His emerald eyes flash a green fire for just a moment.

Rena Sakai has posed:
Rena Sakai smiles a little. She whispers back to Chloe, "Could be worse." She giggles a little and gets out a cookie. She nibbles at it with a smile. "Mmmmm I am totally doing some more of these up. They definitely have a whole tropical feel going."

When Kukai compliments her, she blushes really bright. "Oh umm. Thank you." She whispers back to him. Then at a normal volume, "That sounds like a wonderful idea! I could totally go for something yummy. Maybe a milkshake!" She beams.

Dabble rolls her eyes, "Do you always think of sweets?"

Rena smiles, "Yes I always think of sweets. It goes with the whole baking thing."

Chloe Stingray has posed:
    Chloe smiles. "I'd like that, yes." She says softly before looking to Cathy. 'Hmm? Oh sure, I can get a little something, but then I hafta head home." She says softly. She still seems to be a little starstruck.

Chloe laughs at Cathy. "Come on, Cathy. I'll let you draw in that thing too." She says as she looks to Kukai. 'Lead the way."
