Cast of Characters: | Sora Hisakata, Kukai Souma |
- Sora Hisakata has posed:
Sora Hisakata is coming to Seiyou Middle School to discuss something regarding some kind of sports meet. So she sent an e-mail to the Guardians requesting to talk about that, and now she's approaching the Seiyou middle school grounds at a casual pace. She's wearing her Seishou Middle School uniform, and like she said in her e-mail, she'd be carrying a volleyball with her as a kind of obvious identifying gesture.
- Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai Souma got the email on his normal (non-magical) Guardian account and replied to it, saying sure, come on, sports! He is waiting on a bench inside the gates, watching, as Sora and her volleyball approach. He grins and stands, waving to her. "Hey! Sora Hisakata-san, right? I'm Kukai Souma. It's very nice to meet you!" Daichi is flying around near by, watching her approach and feeling something... a little strange, a little familiar.
- Sora Hisakata has posed:
Sora looks briefly annoyed when she spots Kukai for some reason, but perhaps more strangely, her shadow doesn't quite match her. It's subtle, but her shadow appears to be staring straight at Daichi's shadow while Sora is looking right at Kukai, giving the volleyball a swift serve that goes pretty much straight for his chest. "Souma-san, right?" She asks with a smirk, "How do you do?"
- Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai Souma stands and smiles at Sora, bowing his head politely and then giving her a thumbs up. "Kukai Souma, that's me! It's very nice to meet you Sora-san. "
He reaches up and catches the serve in both hands, then grins and shakes one hand. "Wow, what a serve. You're stronger than you look! And I'm quite good, thank you! It's a pretty day and classes aren't choking me just yet. How about you? Seishou treating you all right?"
- Sora Hisakata has posed:
"It's nice to meet you too, Souma-san." That statement somehow feels hollow, like even as far as mere formalities go it's not really meant. "And thank you, I'm a star player so I better be good if I want to keep that claim." She boasts with a smirk, clearly not lacking in pride. "And Seishou is treating me just fine, I get good grades and they let me show off my volleyball skills."
- Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai Souma hmms but lets it go. He meant his greeting at least. "Oh yeah? Awesome. So what brings you to Seiyou Public School today?" He's not put off by her smirk or her lofty claims - he'd looked her up and she is good. "Do you have some kind of competition in mind?"
- Sora Hisakata has posed:
"Well, we were thinking with all that's been going on lately, we could use something to help collect money to do something nice for students that lost homes or family in one of those freak storms." Sora answers, apparently speaking on behalf of others, "And so we figured maybe a multi-discipline competition where we get multiple schools to organize it together, and I drew the short straw so I got to go around to other schools and see what they were thinking."
- Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai Souma huhs. That's a good idea. "Something to help give back to the people who're in trouble? Yeah, that's a really good idea, actually. I can do what I can to help arrange things from this end for Seiyou. Who all is involved so far and what multiple disciplines did we have in mind?"
- Sora Hisakata has posed:
"So far, I've just got my volleyball team on board, we wanted to see if any other schools wanted to get involved before we continued. It just wouldn't be the same if it was just our own." Sora explains, and then her shadow makes an excaggarated yawning gesture, like it's all meaningless to her. "If you guys are up for it, we can continue from that."
- Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai Souma has both eyes on the lovely if rather stiff looking Sora, and ends up missing what her shadow is doing completely. "Well, if nothing else, I'll make sure that our volleyball team gets into it, and I'll see who else is willing. After that we can plot out where we wanna go with it!" He grins. "And don't worry. I'm pretty sure I can get Seiyou Public's students to back you up. It's a good idea."
Daichi has wandered off, watching some of the other students walking back and forth, just seeing who's around.
- Sora Hisakata has posed:
"That sounds good, sure." Sora relaxes just a little, "I'll tell them that." She looks around the school a bit, her eyes resting ever so briefly on Daichi. Now Kukai isn't in a good position to notice, but Daichi might spot those purple eyes gleaming red for just a fraction of a second. When her gaze moves away from Daichi, that fades, too. "Next time you'll probably be talking to someone else, unless they're rigging the straws. I swear I draw the short straw like ninety percent of the time."
- Kukai Souma has posed:
Daichi blinks, looking back over at Sora. He must be seeing things, but he's watching her more closely now, moving back over to sit on Kukai's shoulder.
Kukai chuckles and nods. "I know what you mean. I tend to be the one people talk to about this sort of thing too. It's funny, in a way. Maybe we just have bad luck?" He smiles at her. "I mean it's not bad, talking to you. I don't mind it."
- Sora Hisakata has posed:
"Of course you don't mind it, I'm hot." Sora dismisses the last bit as being anything special, a bit arrogantly too. Still, she looks pleased, "And I hope I don't, because it'd mean the old saying is wrong and I've been banking on it being right." Her shadow's hand twitches slightly, as though it's trying to move but is being helt back.
- Kukai Souma has posed:
That elicits a laugh from Kukai. "Well, yeah." He chuckles. "But you say it like it's such a common thing." There's a bit of green fire in his eyes as he looks at her. "And maybe if you're not doing anything we could go get some ice cream or something?"
He then cocks his head. "What do you mean, what old saying is wrong? I'm missing the context." He's still missing the movements from her shadows - he and Daichi are both watching her closely, not expecting something on the ground to be strange.
- Sora Hisakata has posed:
"Fortune favours the bold." Sora responds with a smirk, clearly seeming to think that she is bold. "Anyway, I can't say no to free ice cream. Just don't think it means anything." She holds out her hand towards her volleyball. "Can I have my ball back?"
- Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai Souma laughs. "Well being bold is a lot of being brave. And does that mean you think you're fortunate now for some reason?" Kukai grins. "And no, ice cream is just ice cream. It's hanging out together and talking that means something." He walks over towards her, that famous (infamous?) smile of his bright and cheerful on his face, as he holds her volleyball out to her in both hands.
- Sora Hisakata has posed:
"Not necessarily, but I try to be bold. There's nothing to be gained from false humility." Sora takes her ball and immediately starts throwing it from hand to hand, just to keep her busy. Her shadow doesn't play along, it just holds the ball. "And no, the talking and hanging out doesn't mean anything either. Geeze."
- Kukai Souma has posed:
Kukai Souma laughs and shakes his head at that, stepping through her shadowy side to move around her, heading towards the gate with her. "You are something else, you know that?"
