Synopsis: Madoka needs a new outfit to wear while she's working for the Contractors! Problem: She has no idea what kind of suit she'll look good in. Solution: Homura Akemi
Cast of Characters: Madoka Kaname, Homura Akemi

Madoka Kaname has posed:
The last time Madoka and Homura were going to the suit shop they were rudely interrupted before they could make it. Today they've decided to take the car just to be different, but there's still that problem of Infinity Drive being clogged up. Luckily that issue solved itself once they got into Homura's Corvette because just getting into the thing change the plans to going for a bit of a ride first. Despite the speeds the car is capable of the speed limit is plenty fast when the top is down. Homura's hair is also perfect for that look of blowing in the wind, and Madoka's twintails can flutter behind her prettily enough as well.

After driving around having fun long enough for traffic to clear they head to their intended destination, parking a couple blocks away and walking over. They're in luck today; no Youma are here to rudely interrupt! Madoka quickly walks ahead so she can hold the door for Homura, following in after and proceeding to look just a little lost. "Mm..."

She likes suits. She likes how they look on Homura. She likes a good variety of them, even. But she... has no idea where to even start picking out what would look good on -her-. Black, okay, that's a start... but there's so many styles! It feels very odd to her, feeling unsure while shopping for clothes. "Should we look around a little first, or ask for help right away..?" she asks Homura, staying close to her after peeking around for a minute or two.
Homura Akemi has posed:
The last time Homura and Madoka wanted to pick out suits, it turned out that they were overbooked! Now, however, they've shown up in a nice car and windblown hair. Especially Homura's, since hers wasn't tied up in any way. When the traffic clears and the two of them finally reach the store, Homura flips her hair as she walks out of the car. She's classy and she knows it.

Madoka holds the door open for her, and Homura walks through. "Thank you~." As they enter the store, Homura immediate starts looking for suit jackets and not really paying attention to the salesmen aside from whatever minimum is necessary to be polite.

Madoka asks about what to do, and Homura picks up on the fact that she seems a bit lost. Well, no surprise, considering that Homura has never seen her in a suit before, but that's why Homura's here!

"Okay, well, 90% of what people are going to notice is your jacket, so we'll need to make sure that looks nice and we'll need pants that have the same color. After that we also want a shirt that both looks nice with the jacket but also looks nice when you take the jacket off." Homura's done this before apparently, also not a surprise. At least, she's done it enough to have an opinion about how to go about it.

"Also..." Homura looks up to Madoka's ribbons, touching one of her pigtails and inspecting the ribbons. "We might want to consider giving you different ribbons to wear with the suit... but accessorizing is really the last step. We can worry about that later."
Madoka Kaname has posed:
"You're welcome," Madoka replies with a gentle smile, trailing in behind Homura. Sales people seem to not be the ticket here even if the tailor knows what they're doing. She's glad for the help, blinking a little in surprise when Homura brings up the importance of the jacket. Is that so..? She thinks back and realizes that it really is. It's what she always notices first about Homura when she wears a suit- or even her henshin outfit. Well, okay, sometimes she notices her hair first but that's gorgeous regardless of what she's wearing.

"There are so many types of jackets," she notes quietly, looking between a single breasted and a double breasted jacket, and then one with pinstripes and one without, followed by motioning to a jacket with clean lapels and then one with much more stylized ones. "I really have no idea which is going to look better on me."

Her eyes turn upward as Homura touches her hair. Her lips curl slightly into a smile for a moment, her face changing to a thoughtful expression at the mention of different ribbons. "Really? I guess I might want ones to match... though I don't think I'd want to wear black ribbons in my hair."
Homura Akemi has posed:
"Really the only way to know what will look good is if you try it on and look in a mirror," explains Homura, walking up to the jackets and starting to dig through them. Fortunately Homura knows Madoka's size already, which makes it easier to look through things. "... and really, above all else it should be something you can feel confident and comfortable wearing. A large part of the suit is how it makes you feel when you wear it."

Homura pulls out a few pairs of jackets that look to be about Madoka's size, looking at them and considering. She pulls a black single breasted jacket out and holds it up to Madoka, tilting her head to consider how it looks with the rest of Madoka's hair. "Hmm."

She sets it aside and keeps looking. "If you see anything that catches your eye..."

On the subject of hair ribbons, Homura tilts her head. "No black ribbons? Well, alright. White could also a good option, but I don't want to get too into that when we don't even know what the rest of the outfit would look like. I mean, depending on what you decide to wear, red might work out just fine anyways."
Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka lifts her hand up and rubs the back of her head, "That makes a lot of sense. I thought I might have to do that, but I was hoping it might be easier just by looking at things. It really isn't though." She nods in agreement, "Even if it looks good on me if I don't think It's right I'd be uncomfortable, and I'll end up looking silly."

She looks down at the suit jacket as it's held up to her, looking up and smiling afterwards so Homura will have a better idea of how it'll look on her. When it's set aside she looks faintly embarrassed, nodding and looking through things more herself. "I'll save accessories until I find an outfit that they'll go with."

Cue twenty minutes of looking through various suit jackets in varying dark colors. Eventually Madoka starts to get a tiny bit frustrated and ends up going to try on a very standard black suit. It's clean cut with a simple white shirt and a black tie and fits her well enough. After looking at herself for a while in the mirror she sticks her head out of the changing room, "Homura-chan, can you come tell me what you think?" She'll wait until Homura is close to step the rest of the way out.

Truth be told it does look nice on her; it'd be hard not to, but at the same time it also looks rather ordinary. She'd melt into a group easily enough, save for her very pink hair. She turns around and gives Homura a look at her from various angles, and then opens the jacket to wear it like that as well. It's stylish, but... not really her. And her expression tells that story plainly enough.

    "So... what do you think?"
Homura Akemi has posed:
"Yeah," agrees Homura, still digging through things as she speaks. "I mean... a lot about wearing a suit is about projecting an image. What kind of image does it project if you're uncomfortable with what you're wearing?"

The two girls look through things, and Homura never really seems to find something that grabs her attention. She takes another blazer, holds it up to Madoka, rejects it, then does that again, then again. Homura doesn't want to admit it, but she doesn't like it. She has a cute girlfriend, darnit! Why don't they have any good suits?!

Homura just sets things down, frowns, and stares at a wall. She hears Madoka going off to try something on and her head turns to watch the pink-haired girl go off. Homura wanders in the same direction as the dressing room and when Madoka comes out, she puts her hand on her chin, her other hand supporting her elbow, narrows her eyes and looks.

She's... not smiling. When Homura takes a look at Madoka's face, she frowns. Her hand releases her chin and flips in the air. "No."

With a bright, wide, apologetic smile. "Madoka-chan, you're a very cute and beautiful girl, and you do look good in it, but... It just doesn't work. It's not working out. You've got the bright pink hair up here and then this kind of monochrome thing happening down here and it's like..."

Her hand drops to her side, other hand goes to her hip. Purple eyes scan the far corners of the store. "Maybe we're going about this the wrong way. Black looks good on me because my hair is black. I wear purple because that's my eye color. Your hair and eyes are a lot brighter. Maybe you'd do better with a bit more color."

Homura wanders off towards a different part of the store, a place that has more colorful shirts and colorful jackets. Maybe Madoka comes along or maybe she doesn't, but after a while Homura finds Madoka and presents her with a pink blazer and a pink shirt. "Here. I suggest trying either the black suit with the pink shirt, or the pink jacket with the white shirt."
Madoka Kaname has posed:
"A bad one," Madoka agrees to the image she would give if she wasn't comfortable wearing something. Another embarrassed look as Homura holds up the suit to her and then puts it away. As Madoka looks through things she keeps an eye on Homura and what she's looking through as well, and she can't help but notice the beautiful dark haired girl who looks amazing in suits just isn't happy at all with what she sees.

And then even more as Homura looks at her with an expression of careful contemplation, which tells Madoka right away that something is off. Most of the time Homura would tell her right away if something didn't look good on her, or gush when it did.

If this were several months ago Madoka would take it all very differently. She'd start to wonder if maybe she just didn't look good in suits, that there was something wrong about her look that made them a bad idea. She'd start doubting and feeling bad about herself.

    But she won't today.

She won't doubt herself because she knows she looks good; she has Homura telling her that all the time. So it isn't -her- that's the problem. It's just that they haven't found what, ahem, suits her yet.

"I know," she replies to being told the suit doesn't work. She crosses her arms and shifts about, "I think... if this was just for one day or one occasion I'd actually be happy with this," she looks down at herself, "but... it's for something really important. It's for the Contractors, and I want to look my best. Especially when you look so amazing." She gives a soft smile to Homura.

She nods when other things are brought over to her. She looks... a little worried actually, but what they've tried so far hasn't worked. "Okay. Thanks, Homura-chan. I'm really happy you're here with me to pick things out."

She's in there for a while once she retreats back into the changing room. She tries on the pink shirt first, which necessitates quite a bit more changing, and finds it a little better but not quite. She changes out of it and back into the white shirt, buttoning it carefully and tucking it into the black suit pants before trying on the jacket.

"...this looks ridiculous," she mumbles to herself, not really giving it a chance at first because she's taking the whole picture in. Pink hair, pink jacket, white shirt, black tie, black pants. "I look like an ugly three tone checkerboard..."

She starts to change out of it, pulling off the tie and setting it aside- she catches herself in the mirror out of the corner of her eye as she's unbuttoning the jacket and stops. A couple of blinks and steps closer to the mirror, making it harder to see the dark pants and- it kind of works, actually.

A few moments later she slips out of the dressing room and walks over to Homura. She lifts a hand and waves embarrassedly, "I know I look really silly. But..." She holds her hand out near Homura's face, approximating and trying to obscure her lower half. "...what about now?" she asks, cautiously optimistic.

Of course it was Homura who told her to try the jacket on. It doesn't seem to have occurred to her to judge it by itself except by coincidence.
Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura breathes a sigh of internal relief as Madoka seems to take her rejection of the suit well. This is their first time really trying to figure this sort of thing out, so to have this rough of a start... "Yeah. Like... if you're going to wear it everyday, or at least very often, and it's going to represent you, then it needs to actually... like... represent you. Like, in the best possible light."

Homura smiles softly at Madoka and says, "Thank you, Madoka-chan. Don't worry. We'll find something for you, and then we'll both look amazing together." Homura's not going to give up hope just yet. It's a big store, and they've only tried on a few things.

When Madoka comes back out with the jacket, Homura blinks. She instinctively ignores the pants when trying to judge the color, because she knows she'll change those later, and the way Madoka seems to want to obscure her view tells her that Madoka doesn't want her to consider them anyways. Judging just by the jacket and the shirt. "I like it. I mean. It's a start, but the jacket works."

The rest of the stuff can come later. After all, Homura did say to pick out a jacket first, then worry about the rest afterwards. The jacket, at least, seems acceptable. That's one step down!

"Okay. So now I want to ask: Skirt or pants? I'm sure we can find either to go with that jacket. It'd probably be best to do an exact color match, either way. After that..." Homura taps the side of her cheek, looking Madoka over, and looking especially where the tie would be. "Black tie didn't work out? Don't worry there's other colors."

Homura goes off again, in the same direction she got the jacket from. When she comes back, she has a number of skirts and pants. "Sorry! I forgot the exact shade... Let me see..." She holds up the various pairs of pants next to Madoka's jacket. This one's too red. This one's way off. Oh okay, it's this one. She hands the pants to Madoka, and then she hands the same-colored skirt. "Here. Maybe try these on?"
Madoka Kaname has posed:
A warm smile is given as Homura knows exactly what she's talking about and means, "The normal suit looks good on me, but it doesn't represent me, like you said."

When Homura tells her she likes the suit jacket Madoka smiles, lowering her hand. The question as to a skirt or pants gets a blink from her, "Pants. I want to look like we fit together like a team. That's... why I wanted to try black first, too." She peeks off to the side. "I know if I dressed up like Mama I could look nice." Something crosses her mind and she giggles, stepping closer to Homura, "You like how I look when I dress up as your secretary. Wearing a jacket over that wouldn't be hard."

Her smile softens, "But that... it isn't for this, right?" It occurs to her then that this isn't something they've actually discussed openly. She laces her fingers together and looks upwards, "I thought this would be something where we could dress up and look nice together in suits. A little like how WPS does... professional. Like the suit is an outfit that says you belong to a team."

She turns her eyes back to Homura, "You look really cool when you wear suits. You know that and that's why you got a new one for the business, to project that image, right? I thought the Contractors would be the same way, that we'd want to present an image that we're organized and professional." She looks over towards the dress skirts, "Those do look nice, and I look nice in them, but they're for someone in an office, not for someone out getting things done.

After all that she looks off to the side, blushing a little and repeating, "So, um. Pants." Then her head shakes again, "The black tie looked really silly. Especially with the black pants." She'll let Homura's imagination fill that in.

She follows Homura over and lets her check the various colors, trusting her judgment when she finds the one that's exactly the right hue. She accepts the pants, but waves off the skirt for the reasons she mentioned.

A few minutes later and she's changed into the matching pair of pants, walking out and smiling to Homura, "It looks nice! But it's definitely going to need a tie. Maybe something else could work, but a tie might look best." She looks over towards a bunch of print ties and involuntarily shivers- she doesn't want to look like someone's dad!
Homura Akemi has posed:
"Pants it is, then," says Homura. Realistically speaking if they were 'getting things done' they'd just as likely be in henshin than out, but Homura did say that it was about image. Not just looking nice, but looking professional. Looking amazing in a professional way. Professionally amazing.

The thought of Madoka in the secretary outfit does bring a dreamy, nostalgic look to Homura's face, and she gazes at Madoka like that, giggling. "I bet you would look nice in your mother's outfit, but that's the thing. You 'look nice' in a lot of things. I... I guess for me I just... I want the best for you. I enjoy the secretary outfit, when we're alone and cuddling, but if we're going to look like a team then a suit would be better."

She scratches the back of her head, nervously. "I guess that's why I was worried about people walking all over you. If they thought you were nothing more than my cuddle buddy... I mean, you are my cuddle buddy, and I don't mind people knowing that, but you're also my partner, and I want that to be clear, too."

Leaning in, she whispers, "Besides, cuddling you in a suit would also be fun."

She smiles as Madoka says she looks cool in a suit, but she doesn't interrupt her. "No, no, it's okay. I was bringing them up because they were an option, and because I didn't know what your opinion was. I do think the pants look nicer, now that you mention it, and let's be honest: In our line of work you never know when you'll need to suddenly break into a run, and tight skirts aren't very good for that."

So the black tie looked silly. Homura tries to imagine it. She can... kindof see it clashing. Yeah, she can see how Madoka wouldn't like it. "Yeah well, alright. I'll go find you some other options."

When Madoka goes off to change, Homura goes off to put the other colors, and the skirts, back. Then she goes to the tie rack and starts looking it over. She ignores the print ties, though there are some with patterns that might look nice. There's a black one with hearts all over it that Homura looks at, considers, then says, "No if the black tie looked silly then putting hearts on it isn't going to help."

Eventually she finds a pink tie that matches the color of the suit pretty closely. She smiles at first, then frowns. "This might be too much of one color." Nearby, she sees a darker shade of pink, looks it over, then picks that up too. She also finds a white one and a green one, gathers them together, then walks up to Madoka as she comes out of the dressing room.

"You know, the nice thing about that suit color is it turns out we probably don't need to change your ribbons after all. In fact..." Homura lifts one of the ties to Madoka's ribbons. "Hm. Well, anyways. How about these?" She presents the ties to Madoka, for her perusal.
Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka smiles at the giggling, "The secretary outfit is fine for the business when I'm acting as your secretary, but when we're working as the Contractors it'd be better if we looked more like a team." It's about what Homura just said, really. She's more summing the conversation up than adding in any new input.

She gives a sympathetic look as Homura gets a little nervous, only to shake her head. "No, it's okay. I understand. People who don't know us wouldn't know that you love me because you respect me; if we're dating it's easy for them to think you only want them to respect me because we're dating. There's a lot of things about our relationship that other people can't really understand and we have to keep that in mind."

A sudden blush is on Madoka's cheeks when cuddling in a suit is mentioned. "Hehehe... well I know you're still snuggly in a suit," she replies in a whisper.

A bright playful smile, "Loose fluffy skirts are, though. They're just not as professional."

Madoka looks over the ties as Homura hands them to her, "Let me see." She checks the white one first but it blends in too much with her shirt. The green one she holds up and gives a curious look. It's not an obvious match, but it might compliment her ribbons too; she checks it out in the dressing room. It's a neat idea but in the end doesn't quite fit.

That leaves the darker pink tie. She holds it up to herself, tilting her head this way and that and then smiling, slipping it on and tying it properly. It's... pretty good! She heads back over to Homura and smiles to her, eyes closed. "What do you think? Is it me?" She holds her arms out to the sides, twisting this way and that.
Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura nods. She agrees with the overall sentiment. They both seem to. "Yeah, I think that sounds about right."

Considering how badly Homura wanted to be like Madoka, 'respect' may even be a bit of an understatement. Her feelings are certainly along the same lines as respect, or at least respect is among the cocktail of feelings that she has for Madoka. "I think if they really got to know you they'd understand why I consider your opinion so important. Even if we were just friends, I'd still want your input. Especially if I'm trying to... lead a good life. ... but yeah. It's one of those things we can't really expect others to understand."

When Madoka blushes, Homura grins impishly. "Madoka-chan!" Still speaking softly, but carrying a playful tone of surprise. "The suit matches your blush, too!"

Green was chosen because it's the compliment of red and pink is really just light red. The others were picked out because they were colors that Madoka was already wearing.

When Madoka comes out wearing the red tie, Homura's heart stops. Watching Madoka twist back and forth like that is really cute, but in addition to that the color combination is actually... really working for Homura. Yeah. She could totally cuddle tha--

Oh, right. This is supposed to look professional! It... does look professional. Does it? It looks so good to Homura that she can't tell if it's really professional or if her bias is getting in the way.

Now it's Homura's turn to blush. Just a bit.

"Well now that looks amazing. I love it. I think this is really going to work out. What do you think, Madoka-chan? Do you like it?"

Homura clears her throat. "S-sorry, it's just, you look really attractive in that. I mean... I guess that means it's working, huh? Hehehe."
Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka smiles sweetly. She hopes Homura is right, that if people get to know her they'll appreciate and consider her opinions. "I know you can lead a good life, Homura-chan. I'm happy to help you and give you input, though I do think you already have what it takes inside of you."

A soft, "Hm?" is made as Homura says her name while grinning and speaking in such a tone. Her suit matches her blush? Oh geeze! Her face flushes more and she slaps her hands over it, waiting a moment or two before spreading her fingers and peeking out from between them at Homura, twisting on her feet in embarrassment, though her eyes show just as much amusement as they do embarrassment.

Madoka is caught somewhat off guard when Homura reacts so strongly to the way she looks. A lighter blush is on her cheeks and she giggles happily at seeing her girlfriend so flustered- and flustered by her own good looks! "If it's that nice then I should definitely get it," she says eagerly. She giggles again as Homura clears her through and clarifies that no, she just looks that good. The laugh at the end puts a big bright smile on her face. "If I look this good in it must be working!"

She is, for a moment, ready to run up to the counter and buy what she's wearing, though she stops after a single step. "O-oh! I'm still going to need shoes, aren't I? And maybe other accessories to go with?" She looks herself over and hums, "Do you think anything would look good with this?"
Homura Akemi has posed:
"Thank you, Madoka-chan." Homura's voice is sweet. "I'm glad that you have that kind of faith in me." She certainly hopes that she can live up to that.

Homura, face still red, considers if anything else would go well with it. "Well, I mean. We found a combination that works, but that doesn't mean it's the only one. It might be better if you had a few different shirts to wear, so you don't have to wear the same exact same thing every day. Maybe..." Homura looks over at the tie rack, which is still pretty close. Then she looks up at Madoka's ribbons. She walks over and picks up a red tie, holds it up to Madoka's ribbons. It's a pretty close match.

With a smile, she presents it to Madoka. "Maybe try this on? And... maybe we can find a couple different shirts, too. In fact, let me go and find those."

Now with a working image of what Madoka is wearing in her mind, Homura's color choices are a lot less 'oh let's just try things and see if it works' and a lot more 'you know what? I bet this would look good with it'. On the way back, she looks over the shoes, picking up a few of those for Madoka. She grabs about four different shoe boxes, carrying them in a stack and starts to realize just how much she wishes she could use her shield to carry things around.

When she comes back, she's got a pink shirt and a black shirt. She's also got four pairs of shoes: black, pink, red and white. Since they've already got a color palette that's working, she may as well stick to it.
Madoka Kaname has posed:
"You're welcome, Homura-chan," Madoka replies softly.

"I have a lot of button down white shirts at home, but having some different colors might be nice," she agrees. Homura gets a tie that matches her ribbons and holds it up to them, and Madoka's eyes sparkle with mischief. She accepts the tie when it's offered to her, running her fingers over it for a moment before holding it up to Homura's face. "It matches your blush," she says with a playful, teasing smile. She giggles softly, only to lean in and kiss Homura on the cheek before going over to the shirt racks again.

When it comes to shopping for suits she's pretty much decided that Homura is indispensable. She's still vaguely lost on what other colors she might wear with it, accepting the ones offered to her and nodding a bit. When several different shades of shoes are also introduced she hums softly. The black shoes she'd probably only wear with the black shirt, but that might be enough to justify them.

All of a sudden while looking at the shoes she giggles, "I think I'll need dress socks as well. White socks don't really go well with a suit." Pause, "And wearing stockings under a suit seems odd..!"
Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura blushes harder as Madoka mentions the color of her cheeks. "Madoka-chan, wearing a tie that goes with my blush? Does that make us a matched set?" Not that Homura would disagree with that!

Homura looks over the shoes, and then snaps her fingers. "Socks! I knew I forgot something. Yes, yes of course you'll need socks. Probably black ones at the very least. Maybe... we could look over some patterns and see which ones you like?" She scratches the back of her head, thinking. "Yeah well I know I don't really wear stockings underneath long pants. It seems like a waste to do that since your legs are already covered.

Homura considers. She wanders off and finds a few bags of socks. "Mostly they only had darker colors," she explains. She of course has plain black ones, but there are also some very dark red ones, some grey ones, some back ones with white-striped patterns on them. Almost apologetically, she adds, "I couldn't find any pink ones. I don't know, what do you think?"
Madoka Kaname has posed:
A bright smile shows on Madoka's face, "Hmm... Yep! Or it would if we weren't already a matched set."

She nods in agreement to the stockings not really being worth wearing under pants, though she gives a little shake of her head, "It's okay. You shouldn't have to do everything for me, Homura-chan." When Homura comes back she has the shoes out of their boxes and is looking them over and trying them on- with her normal white socks, of course.

"It's okay if everything isn't pink, even if I do really like it." She accepts the bags of socks from Homura and after a moment decides upon the grey, "These should go well enough with everything and won't stand out as much as black since the suit itself is so light."

Madoka sits down and then holds her legs out, showing off the pink shoes she's wearing. "What do you think? Too much? I'm not sure if the red would go better with my tie." She does seem to have slipped the red tie on while Homura was out looking at socks.
Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura notices the red tie and gives a tiny little squee. Okay, okay, control yourself Homura. Yes, she's adorable. You knew this already. Yeah but right now she's really adorable! Behave!

Homura considers the grey socks. "Huh. I didn't think you'd like those, but I do think they'd work. Yeah, actually now that you mention it, they would go better with the suit."

Granted, Homura isn't surprised that Madoka isn't changing socks. The shoes though, they do need to be tried on before they're just bought, since even if you know the size they can still be uncomfortable. She considers the pink shoes with the rest of Madoka's outfit. "Well. I think the pink shoes go well with the blazer and the pants. However, the red would bring out that tie more. Granted, you might not wear that tie every day, but it is a really good tie."

Homura considers. "Hmm. Actually, I think this is working out really well. I'm glad we came here. I'm also glad we didn't give up right away. You really do look good in that. It's like... it's a suit, so of course it's classy, but it's also very you."
Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka reaches up and scratches her cheek for a moment, "I think they're the best choice if I can only have one, and I don't really want to buy four different bags of socks. I'd probably use them all eventually but it seems like a bit much for now." Especially when she can add cute socks to the list of things to always keep her eye out for when she's shopping from now on.

"I am wearing the red tie now," she notes, slipping off the pink shows and putting the red pair on. Sure enough they do match her tie rather well, along with the ribbons in her hair. It's also a known thing that red shoes look good on her, because come on. "There, now I'm all cute and matching!" She's sitting with her hands on the bench seat beside her, holding her legs out again so her shoes can be easily seen. With a laugh she slowly kicks her legs back and forth, tilting her head from one side to the other in time. Not very professional, but she'll have plenty of time for that later!

She stands up and moves closer to Homura, only to slip her arms around her and hug her close. "I'm glad we came here too. Thank you for coming with me and helping me. I don't think I could have come up with something near as nice without you." She smiles as her outfit is called classy and like her. A bit of excitement wells up in her and she smiles brightly to Homura, "We're going to look so good together!"
Homura Akemi has posed:
"I'd buy the others for you if you wanted them, but it's okay if you only like those," says Homura. She isn't personally too invested in any of the socks really, but the greys really are the best choice. "I mean... of all the items of clothing we're talking about, socks will be the least seen. Especially with pants. Speaking of..."

Homura taps her chin. "Now that we've sorted out what looks good on you, we should get them fitted for you. Especially the pants and jacket. Maybe the shirts, too." With a tilt of her head, she leans close. "Of course, if you did that, you'd look even better, and I might not be able to contain myself."

Madoka's lack of professionalism doesn't bother Homura in this setting, since they are still a couple who are going shopping for clothes. Besides, they succeeded at finding something good for Madoka to wear, so she should be happy.

Homura wraps her arms around Madoka, returning the embrace. "You did all of this because of the Contractors, because you wanted to look nice when we handle that kind of business. I really appreciate you putting so much effort into it. I'm happy to help, Madoka-chan, and it really means alot to me that you'd go through the trouble."

With a giggle, Homura adds, "We really will! Or do! I mean... wow!"
Madoka Kaname has posed:
A soft shake of her head, "It's okay. I think these are good for now." Madoka nods a little at the note of socks not being seen as much, though tilts her head at 'Speaking of...'

She gives a quick nod at the mention of getting the outfit fitted to her, something she's grown rather accustomed to needing after starting to wear fancy dresses to balls and dances. Homura gets a giggle out of her when she says she might not be able to contain herself. Madoka puts on a calm face and holds up a finger, "This is for our business, and in business 'professional' means 'professionally fitted'!" It's delivered simply as if she's an expert, though she can't keep herself from giggling a few seconds later.

"I want everything to go off without a hitch," she says while hugging close to Homura. "It wasn't all that much trouble, though. Going clothes shopping with you is a lot of fun, even if it's for clothes I'm not used to."

    'I mean...wow!'

Madoka blushes brightly again, drawing away from Homura enough to rest her forehead against hers. She doesn't say anything this time, instead just looking into her eyes with a look of gratitude and appreciation. After several moments she gives another squeeze before pulling away. "I'm going to go change back so we can buy these and I can get measured." She's been measured for dress fittings plenty of times, but never for a suit; she wonders how much different it is. Just the legs, maybe?
Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura can't help but giggle as Madoka does. "That's right, and now we look professional!"

Homura takes a deep breath, and lets it out slowly, as she holds Madoka close. Her eyes close, and for a moment she could very well just... stand here. Like this. If she didn't have other things they needed to do, she totally would. "It's a lot of fun for me, too. I'm glad you enjoy it, and I hope it was fun to try something new."

When Madoka pulls away, Homura nods. "Yeah... alright. I'll be here. I think you look really good in that, Madoka-chan."

Getting fitted will be kindof a wait, but if they've gone this far it's worth it to go all the way. After that, who knows? Maybe they'll go riding around in Homura's Corvette for a while.

While Madoka's changing, Homura looks at the things they won't buy and starts putting them back. By the time Madoka's done, Homura's waiting on a bench outside the dressing room, ready to move on.
Madoka Kaname has posed:
"It was. Today I found a whole new way of dressing that I look good in!" For the first time something she should have considered before crosses her mind, "I wonder what Mama is going to think if she sees me wearing it." Salamander Salvage is something Junko will know about. The Contractors? Not so much.

Madoka looks back over her shoulder and smiles to Homura as she heads to the dressing room, giving a little finger wave. It does take a while to get fitted. Paying afterwards doesn't take long, though Madoka only has the shoes, ties, and socks with her. "They're going to call me when the suit is ready and we can come back and pick it up," she says with a smile.

She reaches for Homura's hand, looping her shopping bags around her opposite elbow, and gives her girlfriend a bright smile. "Now that business is done for the day, let's go do something fun!"
