Broken Flowers

Synopsis:	When Tadase runs into Sierra (literally), A few flowers get broken...

Sierra Earhart has posed:
The craziness of the weekend is still hanging heavy on the mind of Sierra Earhart. Not only did she manage to make friends with someone she didn't expect to make friends with, She discoved a lot about herself. On top of this the whole view from the clouds was still fresh in her mind. She has spent much of today in an amazing mood because of it. To the dismay of the some of her clubmates, she has made her choice to drop the Meteorology club. When you stare your dreams in the face every day, a substitute just won't cut it. She will find a new club... something she can just have fun with and such.

School is out now and Sierra is happily making her way through the doors of the school. Flying just over her shoulder is her chara, dressed in vintage pilot's garb. It makes perfect sense really! She doesn't really stop to talk to anyone as she is still relearning to make friends. Making her way to one of the flower beds, she kneels down and breathes in the sweet smell of a tulip. The bluenette just smiles soft as she takes this moment. Does she have homework? Yes. Should she be running home to do it? Of course? Is she? No. Because sometimes just stopping to smell the flowers is a good thing.

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase Hotori isn't usually one to stop and smell the flowers - in fact, he's usually one jumping from problem to problem - trying to help out as many people as possible. With his mind on such big problems - and on such big solutions - as it often is, sometimes he misses out on small things. In this case, it's a little bit literal, as suddenly he just walks right into Sierra Earheart!

"Oh!" he says, and jumps backwards, before reaching down to offer a hand to help her out. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention..." he says. Meanwhile, Kiseki floats up by his shoulder. "Well, that's not important. She should've gotten out of your way." he says, hmphing before Tadase shoots the little king A Look.

Sierra Earhart has posed:
Sierra suddenly gets much more then a nose full of the sweet smelling flowers. "Ahhh!!" THUNK! Down she goes right into the flowerbed, "Awww no!" She quickly gets up to take a look at the damage. A frown crosses her face as she sees more then a few flowers now crushed. "<Darn it. Ain't no way t' fix this is there?>" She laments as her more native language comes through. Carefully she starts trying to fix the flowers with, obvious results. Finally she looks up and sees, "Oh umm, Hello Hotori-san." She accepts his hand and stands up. Then Kiseki starts talking. She rolls her eyes and gives a little duck face.

Kit on the other hand is a lot less quiet about it. The pilot guardian chara flies up and looks right at Kiseki, "She was mindin her own business! Why don't ya watch where you're goin, Flyboy!"

"Kit. Enough. It was an accident. No need to get fired up over it." Sierra smiles as her chara nods and backs off to her side.

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase looks down, and tries to help Sierra 'fix' the flowers. It... doesn't work very well when he does it, either. It does, however, remind him of a moment of his own where he had a crushed flower, and he slows work for a moment before Kiseki and Kit start arguing.

"Kiseki, see what happens? You just keep getting me in trouble..." he says, sighing, looking at the little chara. "Again..." he says, firmly at Kiseki more than Sierra "I apologize." he then turns to look up at Kit. "Hello there, I don't think we've met." he says, smiiling at the little chara.

There might be a bishie sparkle or five.

Sierra Earhart has posed:
Both Kit and Sierra look at Tadase and then they look at each other. Both blush in sync. It takes a moment or so for Kit to actually speak up. "Hiya, I'm Kit! I'm Sierra's Guardian Chara. Nice t' meet ya Hotori-san!" She definitely has that southern US accent and it is thick. "I've been helping Sierra out to get her dream of being a pilot! She's even gettin better at dealin with heights!"

Sierra just sorta shrinks a little. "Thank you Kit, You do know you don't have to tell everyone about the heights thing right?"

Kit laughs a little, "It ain't a big secret, Silly! You are getting better at facin it too! Just keep believin in yourself and you will get over it!"

Sierra smiles to Tadase, "Yeah I guess, the reason why I could hear voices was because my egg was going to appear. It was a littlw weird there for a bit. Now though it just feels really nice. I can't imagine how things would be without Kit around. Even if she likes to mess with me sometimes." She smiles softly to the Chara before turning her attention back to Tadase. "I wanted to thank you. You helped me out with what you said last time we met."

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase laughs a bit. "You know, just be glad everyone can't see her, only other chara bearers and magical-types. Most folks who can see her kinda understand. They do with Kiseki, too." Tadase says, reaching over and ruffling Kiseki a bit. His crown is lopsided and he does not look amused.

Then he nods again. "Yeah, once you've got your Guardian Chara... it's really difficult to imagine life without them. They make it interesting, but... worth it. Because they're a part of you."

Then it's tadase's turn to blush /just a bit/. "It's not a big deal, really. Everyone has a dream inside, even if they don't end up with a Chara. Following that dream is a good way to be happy." he says.

Sierra Earhart has posed:
Sierra Earhart nods and laughs, "A lot has been happening. Stuff I really need to talk about but, I still don't have many friends. I mean, I became friends with Kukai-san and with Utau-chan. I also met another Chara... one who was looking for his Bearer. His name is Yoru. He's a cute kitty type. He has been looking for someone named Ikuto-san?" She asks to see if that name rings a bell or two.

Kit looks at Sierra and smirks, "Hey, Tell em about the stuff that happened this weekend! I bet he could use a laugh!" She comments before flying a little closer to Kiseki, "Sorry. I just get a little riled up. I'm Kit. Nice to meet ya. Sierra-chan and I dunno many people round here so I'm tryin t' help her make some more friends."

Sierra starts to laugh immediately, "Well, I had just met Yoru and he was feeling down. So I decided to try to motivate him. Kit and I did a chara change and I gave him a really good motivational speech. I think maybe I got a little too into it and I threw my hand into the air. Next thing I know, half the leaves on the tree I was under went flying a good thirty meters into the air before they started fallin back down. Yoru was having a grand ol' time attacking the falling leaves."

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase smiles. "Well, I'd like to think I'm your friend." he says, nodding. "But I know the difference between someone who can help you and a real friend." he admits. And then he stops cold, and the happiness seems to have been sucked right out of him. "Sierra-chan, stay away from Ikuto. He is a black cat that brings nothing but trouble. Getting involved with him... it can cost you everything. Just keep a distance from him. That means Yoru too. Not everybody who has a Guardian Chara is one of the good guys."

Kit's antics seem to bring him out of Sudden Serious mode, and he smiles. "Remember, Kit, you'll always be one of the most important friends she could ever have. Just like nobody can come close to Kiseki for me." he says, and Kiseki nods, folding his arms and standing on Tadase's shoulder, as if saying 'like anyone ever could hope to'.

"Yoru's not a great guy either." Kiseki says. "Don't let his attitude fool you. He's just as bad as Ikuto."

Sierra Earhart has posed:
Sierra notes Tadase's change in countenance. She gets a bit more serious herself. "Hotori-san, From what I've gathered, its hard for anyone to actually get close to Ikuto right now. From what both Utau and Yoru have told me, he is being held by Easter." She frowns, "Even an unlucky black cat doesn't deserve to be held by those jerks. They are forcing Utau to do things..." She trails off.

A smile crosses Sierra's face as she watches Kiseki and Tadase interact. She smirks to Kit and nods. "I wouldn't trade Kit for the world. She is just so sweet." She smiles and puts her hand up to highfive Kit.

"Even so, Utau told me what would happen if Yoru and Ikuto aren't reunited soon. She said that Yoru would disappear. That just sounds terrible to me!"

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase shakes his head. "I want to believe you. Trust me, I've known Ikuto longer than anyone else, except maybe Hoshina-san. But he's not just being held by them, he's thrown his lot in with them. No matter what I do, I can't reach him - and it's not because of Easter. It's because of Ikuto. He's the reason they have power over him - because he lets them. He doesn't fight, he goes out of his way to do bad things."

Tadase turns away for a moment. "That might be the best for Yoru. It hurts me to say that, but... with the way Ikuto is, he's just using Yoru as another weapon, another means to an end. I don't know what Ikuto's wish was, but it's hard for me to believe he's following it now - hurting kids, taking their heart's eggs and smashing them just to prove a point."

Sierra Earhart has posed:
"I don't blame you for not believing me, Hotori-san. You barely know me. I am a rookie when it comes to all of this and I really don't know who I can trust. What I do know is that Hoshina-chan is doing all she can just for a chance even see him and potentially geth im free of them. Even to the point of allowing herself to be used by Easter to draw out hearts eggs. She hates it. She doesn't want to hurt people like this but she has no choice."

Sierra frowns, "Tadase-san, You are a friend, I don't have many but those I do I cherish and will do anything to help them. Whether it be you or Kukai, Or Utau-chan. You helped me before you even knew me. I could of been worse then Ikuto but you helped me. Its why I am going to help Utau out with this. Maybe, this will be the spark that brings out the best in the black cat."

Kit just flies nearby listening. She looks at Kiseki, "Is Yoru really that bad? He seemed really broken up over not being able t' find Ikuto. He's been searchin all over Tokyo trying to find him."

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase looks at Sierra. "I can't stop you from trying. I understand wanting to help both of them. Believe me, I really do." he says, looking intently at her. "And I don't think there's anyone who wants to see you succeed quite as much as I do. I'd love to see you make progress where I couldn't."

"It's just... you know, after one too many times, I'm tired of being used as his doormat. Maybe you can get through to him and whatever moment of goodness might be left inside him. But I couldn't." he says, and turns away.

"Actually, I think it's possible that moment of goodness might be in Yoru - and that might be all that's left of the Ikuto I used to know. So maybe that makes Yoru worth helping, anyways."

Sierra Earhart has posed:
Sierra Earhart frowns and thinks about what she is about to say. "Tadase-san. I don't know your history with Ikuto-san. I do know though that you can't give up. If you do, the only thing you will succeed at is giving up. Maybe Yoru is all that is left of the Ikuto you used to know. Yoru is a part of Ikuto, just as Kiseki is a part of you and Kit is a part of me. The fact that he still exists proves that the person you knew is still in there."

She steps forward and gently places her hand on his shoulder. Its a friendly gesture, nothing more. "Even if it means we all get burned by him, we still got to help him. Its the right thing to do, right?" She gives a warm smile to Tadase. "Besides, if we don't let the cat out of the cage, how are we going to cope with the mice!" Its a lame joke but at least she's trying to lighten the mood.

"Oh umm, I may of forgot to mention... I sorta transformed with Kit..."

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase shrugs. "Look, I have... a lot of people to protect. A lot of people to hope for. More people than just Ikuto. I can't help him at the expense of other people who... really mean the world to me. Or at the expense of innocent people he harms. I can't save him until he's ready to save himself. And until then, I've got to stop him from doing harm. That's the way it is." he says, firmly and finally.

Her little joke gets a bit of a smile, and then the transformation comment provides him a welcome escape from Ikuto. "That's great! A lot of people still can't transform with their Charas, but... those of us who can, we can do a lot more. We can help make Tokyo safer. We can help keep dreams safe. I mean... there's no rule that says you have to... but I think you ought to. I can see the sparkle in your eye. You do want to help people."

Sierra Earhart has posed:
Sierra frowns a little but accepts what she is told, "I won't bring it up again. I will do as I can to help him though." Thats the end of it from her.

The much needed gear change helps a lot. She smiles and nods, "I want to help people. I just dunno how. I'm still learning about what I can do when transformed. I know when I'm changed I can create a gust of wind. I blew a trash can away the other day while transformed. Still, I don't know where to begin. I know I don't want to wind up involved with those jerks at Easter. I've heard enough about them from Kukai-san and Utau-chan. What they are doing just makes me sick." She frowns a little. "How did you decide to help people with Kiseki?

Tadase Hotori has posed:
"However I can." he says with a smile. "Thanks to Kiseki, I'm good at talking. I'm also good at defending and protecting. I support. I help out wherever I can, whoever I can. I don't limit it to one thing or another. I push myself." he says, and Kiseki nods, looking at Kit.

"I think you just have to throw yourself into situations. Do what's right. Your chara and you will rise to the occasion. It's just about staying true to yourself and your dreams. Just don't lose faith... or you might find yourself losing your strength at a bad time, too."

Sierra Earhart has posed:
Sierra Earhart nods, "I've been told. Can't lose faith especially while transformed or else I could turn back. That could be really bad given that I fly while transformed! The last thing I want to to turn back at 2000ft and wind up going for a free fall. That would result in me getting very scared very dropping for a while."

She goes quiet for a moment as she thinks about how a simple chara change affects her, "Well, umm. Kit changes me, I am much more bold. Fearless really. Its like I can do anything. I also become much more outgoing. Like I can just walk up and start talking to people, encouraging them and making friends. I dunno what else though."

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase smiles. "Yeah, Kiseki and I do really big jumps. I could be pretty high up and -pop- and there wouldn't be much King left. But I trust him implicitly, and he trusts me, and we know each other's strengths... and weaknesses..." he admits the last part a bit begrudgingly.

"Kiseki makes me better at talking to people. Or... he used to. I used to be really shy. I think that part of me is just about over. Now maybe it's Kiseki who needs to learn when to be quiet!" he says, laughing a bit, and Kiseki puts on a very funny looking distasteful face.

Sierra Earhart has posed:
Sierra Earhart laughs a little. "Kit likes to press my buttons. She made me climb a tree! I am deathly afraid of heights. She wanted me to make sure I wouldn't doubt myself when things were really scary. I did it. Doesn't mean I liked it! After that though, It just came naturally to open my heart to her. I mean lets face it, I had already faced my fears on my own. With Kit the insane suddenly becomes a little more likely. Even if she is a bit of a brat at times."

Kit rolls her eyes at Sierra. "Hey, Kiseki, since these two are so great without us hows about we go for little flight through Tokyo. Doubt they'd ever miss us seeing how awesome they are!"

Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase smiles knowingly. "I can't imagine a chara that would push its bearer's buttons." he says, his voice dripping sarcasm. "In no universe would I ever expect to witness THAT."

"But... they make you stronger by doing it. At least usually. SOMETIMES they push a little far." he says, giving Kiseki some serious side-eye.

"But... they really do try to do what's best for you. Because they are you. Just... you turned up very loud."

Kiseki grumbles. "Yeah, I'm sure the High And Mighty Tadase can get along fine on his own." he says, sticking out his tounge and flying off with Kit.

Sierra Earhart has posed:
Sierra Earhart laughs a little and nods to Tadase. "Yeah its hard to imagine. But she does it." She just giggles over that now. "Really though, As annoying as it can be to be pushed like that, It is a good thing. Trying to get over my fears on my own would be really sucky."

She laughs a little, "Yes I agree. Nothing says fun like having your chara tell people something super embarrassing. Stuff that you wanna keep secret. and yeah, I can see that. I only really show my accent when I'm excited and even then, I wind up speaking english in that case!"

She smiles and looks over at Kit, "Okay, don't get too lost. Pizza and pie for dinner." She looks at Tadase and holds up 3 fingers. Then 2. Then 1.

Kit is suddenly right there on her shoulder. "Well now, I think I can forgive ya for all that smack talk. I definitely wouldn't want pizza and pie to go to waste." She styates as she licks her lips. Sierra just laughs.
