Ayana has posed:
Not quite half an hour ago, Ayana left to go to her tutoring session with Sora, excited and brave, despite being unwilling to leave without her star ball attached. Last time she did that, she came back with odd darkness in the ball, but it's clear that being away from it is impossible for the Kitsune.

Now, the door to the Hisakata residence slams open, and Ayana storms in. It's far too early for her tutoring to be over. She's supposed to stay with Sora for an hour. Yet here she comes, stalking in--shoeless in her tall stockings, for some reason--in her jean shorts and fox-faced teeshirt, ears laid back flat against her head, tails swishing angrily behind her.

"No-good stupid jerkfaced idiotic mean-spirited BOY!" she growls as she stalks her way up the stairs towards the bedroom she shares with Ikiko.
Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata looks up from her own homework, blinking first at the unexpectedly early return of her girlfriend, and then blinking some more at the seeming non sequitur the kitsune is steaming about.

"Welcome back," Ikiko says softly as Ayana storms into the room. "Um... care to talk about what's wrong?" There's undoubtedly a reason for all of this, but it'll be easier to learn it as it comes from the foxgirl's mouth instead of asking specific questions that might not be relevant.
Ayana has posed:
Ayana slams the door to the bedroom shut, then stalks across to the desk. "Because," she says as she hesitates over the desk, "Oxygen is a player," she yells, then slams the book into the desk. This likely makes no sense, but Ayana isn't exactly explaining. She stalks away again, fuming, as she heads towards the window. "And I'm going to kill him!"
Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
"I didn't know that oxygen was male," Ikiko remarks, her face a mix of bafflement and amusement. "And, uh... killing oxygen might make it hard to breathe. So that might not be a good idea."

She gives the irate kitsune a hug from behind. "But I'm probably only getting part of the story," Ikiko admits, nuzzling Ayana's neck. "How about if you back up and fill me in on the details of what happened, and who this person you're upset with is?"
Ayana has posed:
Ayana reaches fot he window just as Ikiko wraps her arms 'round the girl. There, she hesitates, ears flicking angrily, tails lashing against Ikiko's legs. After a moment, Ayana whirls around and hugs Ikiko tightly.

"Boys are jerks," Ayana says grumpily as she clings to her girlfriend. "Sora's boyfriend apparently has lots and lots of girlfriends, and he made Sora think I already knew that, and now she's mad at me because she thinks I used him being a jerk to hurt her. So now I'm gonna go beat him up, because that is not okay."
Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata keeps hugging the kitsune, reaching up to gently skritch Ayana's ears. "I agree that it's not okay," Ikiko nods. "But it's not your place to beat him up. That's up to Sora -- or some of that guy's other girlfriends -- to get payback by slugging him."

She puts a fingertip on the foxgirl's lips to stave off an immediate retort. "That's not to say that you shouldn't punish him," Ikiko points out. "From what you're saying, he is a jerk, and should be dealt with appropriately." A huge grin spreads across her face. "And what better form for a kitsune's retribution than pranking him?"
Ayana has posed:
Ayana does indeed start to protest, immediately. But she stops when Ikiko puts that finger to her lips. She waits, listening to her girlfriend's suggestion, and then her ears perk up surprisedly. "Prank?" she asks, then tilts her head.

For a moment Ayana looks confused, but then she narrows her eyes and smiles, showing her little fangs as she does. "Yesss. That's a good idea," she says. "I was just starting to be Sora-chan's friend, and now she thinks I'm awful again. It's not fair. I didn't do anything wrong!"
Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
"And you get to show off your cleverness!" Ikiko beams, kissing Ayana on the tip of the nose. "It's unfortunate that Sora-chan was having problems with that guy and took it out on you for your innocent quip, but people in love sometimes lash out at others when things go wrong, so I can kinda understand why she reacted the way she did, even though it wasn't fair."
Ayana has posed:
Ayana's ears flicker once, then fold down as her anger turns to sorrow. "But if I prank Kukai, won't she just use this as proof that I'm a wild fox and a trickster?" she asks, worriedly. "I don't think I can win, Iki-chan. I think she's going to hate me no matter what i do."
Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata blinks as Ayana points out a key fact. "Oh yeah," she mumbles, a slight frown on her face. "And I'm not sure if yelling at him would do any good. Well, other than maybe being a way to vent your frustration."

She slumps against the kitsune with a sigh. "Other than that, I'm not sure what else I can suggest to help," Ikiko shrugs. "But I think you could use some cheering up. How about some pepperoni sticks, a small carton of convenience-store ice cream, and lots of pettings?"
Ayana has posed:
Ayana's sighs and leans into Ikiko. "I just want to go punch him in the nose," she mumbles unhappily. "He's being a jerk. I can't just let him be mean to Sora-chan, and make her mad at me, though."

The prospect of food doesn't cheer her up, but she does at least say, "I guess I'll stay here, though, if you're going to give me all of that. At least it will give me time to figure out what to do to him."
Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata gives her girlfriend a tender kiss. "I'll be back soon!" she smiles after the kiss, grabbing her money and heading out of their room. Ayana needs some TLC, and the walk to the convenience store will make for a much-needed break for Ikiko as well.
