A wonderful evening in Japan the sun hangs low over the sky as it starts its way down the never ending field of blue sky. High above a slow and steady cloud-front carries with it a low and soothingly warm breeze. Children play and relax out at the nearby arcade doing their best to pass the time.
Birds sit in a nearby tree chirping away and occasionally swooping down to eat at discarded food from forgetful children. Everything seems as it should be soothing and calm as people move about their daily routine getting out their shopping for the day.
It starts slow at first creeping on the outskirts of the mini-mall. Those dark grey clouds growing worse by the moment as they seem to soak up the surrounding color, the world fading slowly but surely just like a frog in a kettle no one seems to notice the water slowly come to a boil or in this case the bleaching out of color. The bright and vibrant colors of a softly whispering cherry tree turned to a dull grey, the wind turning oddly cold and uninviting so slowly it's hardly noticed.
A lone figure stands at the side of the mall dressed up in a full suit and tie, suave and calm in his demeanour. His face is hidden behind a pitch black mask made from not cloth but seemingly pure darkness that molds to his very features. the hair on his head is slicked down with such precision it would seem almost like plastic, not a hint of color anywhere on his person. He simply stands there leaning on what looks like perhaps a cane... waiting.

Reiko Touyama has her arms crossed as she walks along Uminari's Shopping Strip. She's walking to the Game Crown. Why? Because today's the day! TODAY IS THE DAY----!
She beats the Sailor V Arcade Game before it's sequel comes out next week! She wants no regrets when she starts playing the new game, she really can't wait!
She'd had brought Hoshi or Momo along but sometimes-- sometimes a girl needs to girl up and do things herself! No help! SOLO!
Then there's that twinge. Somethings happening and she stops dead stop. She looks around.
Then her Chroma Crystal starts to make her cringe and twinge as it glows ever so softly on the necklace around her neck that slips under her shirt. "Nrg-- here!? Now!?" she mutters.
She slips into a side alley-- though not the one the figure is in--- "Chroma Prism Orange... Transform!"
There's a transformation! Shirt and Jeans get replaced with brilliant orange dress-- gaining tiny fairy wings-- and two koi tie a bow in her hair--one becomes a koi-clip against the bow-- and the Chroma Prism becomes her Chroma Wand! That done-- she flies off and upwards as she glances around--- the sky looks weird--- is that.. a gray cherry tree. She nrgs-- and flies over that direction to check it out.
She swears to god. If she's fighting a Cherry Shade. She's gonna loose it.
But something feels really off about this one. This doesn't quite feel like a Shade to her. Does it?
The sky.. is it Griselda? Well only one way to find out-- she hovers somewhere over near the cherry tree now.
A koi pops into existence next to her head. She looks at it. "What do you think?" she asks the tiny vibrant orange koi.
The koi shrugs confusedly.
- Kuro Heise has posed:
"I was beginning to think that you wouldn't show." A deep and smooth voice calls out stepping from behind the tree. The man in the suit taking a deep bow. His speaking is slow, deliberate and refined that deep bass to it that is hard to ignore. Though he's certainly not speaking quite modern japanese, no it's all Old Japanese, spoken with that degree of refinement and uncaring that is reserved for the emotionless.
Mr.Black takes a very deep bow, a small book tucked onto his left leg. The world begins to feel a bit colder as he slowly picks up speed with the draining process. "Do not disappoint me child." Spoken as he grabs the book from his side, and starts tearing out pages to be thrown onto the ground. "I will be grading your performance."
As the last page hits the ground something strange begins to happen. Small chunks of litter swirl together taking the form of young children, covered in grammatically incorrect sentences, improper math and failed test results. Where their eyes should be instead a failing score on either socket.
- Reiko Touyama has posed:
Prism Keeper Orange has become accustomed to how these things go. She investigates. The Shade shows itself-- bellows it's 'name' and then she fights it and she frees the color. She's expecting this is how it will go. Though, after a few seconds- there's no whipping or wind- or color core forming and gathering cherry trees and calling itself 'SAKURAAAAA!' or something. There's just nothing.
Then there's a blink as a voice rings out. Proper. Composed. Not Griselda, or anything like that.
It's...
"...Oh no."
Nrg-- the suit.. the cane-- ever so weirdly proper. It's Mister Black. She's not seen him yet. None of the Keepers have yet.
It was only a matter of time, wasn't it? She thinks. Certainly-- they'd been made 'real' too, right?
Right?
The pages are torn out, they become weird children constructs. She stays in the air, leaving that orange sparkle trail now.
"Y..you're Mister Black. Aren't you?" she asks. He has to be. Then she grows a determined face. Well as determined as she can muster right now.
"I won't let you steal the color here!" she demands. She levels her Chroma Wand down at the constructs-- and with a little burst- a bright beam of color energy aims out for one of the forming group. A warning shot of sorts- to show she means bussiness- the purifying light leaving an orange trail in the air for a moment before it dissapates into sparkles.
The tiny koi next to her head reaches behind itself and pulls out two orange pom-poms! It 'leaps' in the air and shakes them, shake shake shake!
- Kuro Heise has posed:
"So improper." Mr.Black slowly tsks shaking his head from one side to the other. "The word you are looking for is Sensi, for today I will teach you a lesson in loss." So confident yet emotionless in his dry delivery even as that face curls up into a slight smile at one of his minions being destroyed. "I will of course be taking points off for that."
The first of the creatures is blasted away into a sudden poof of almost confetti like orange glitter that glides its way down to the ground. It collects into a small pile before whizzing right back into the book now back at Mr.Blacks side. "Certainly you must have better things to do then waste your time with such childish games." The constructs begin to run forward towards the arcade sucking the color from the world around them as they try to make for the arcade!
- Reiko Touyama has posed:
Prism Keeper Orange want's to say 'No, not the Game Crown! I have a game to beat!' but that might be a little too much so instead something wells up inside her------ she twitches and-----
"ARCADES ARE THE CORNERSTONE OF CHILDHOOD! THEY HELP DEVELOP FINE MOTOSKILLS WHILE PROVIDING FUN AND ENTERTAINMENT FOR COUNTLESS CHILDREN! I WON'T LET YOU STOP THAT!" she calls out- well. It was a good attempt at a justice speech. Even if the things she's saying aren't one hundred percent correct, it'll do.
Or maybe Mister Black can take more points off for that.
"You can't judge me! Y..you're just a bully! Like Griselda. Or a Shade!" she spits out.
"It's after school and I am a GRADE A STUDENT!" she insists.
She waves her wand in the air--- and summons up an entire school of vibrant orange koi--- then she swings the wand downwards- pointing at the construct of creatures that Black was created-- the koi swirl around in the air- before honing in on seperate creatures- trying to home in and smash into them in little exploding bursts of orange sparkles.
"It's my duty to protect color and that's what I'm doing right now! I'm not playing games, so- so--!" she insists.
Her tiny koi friend places it's fins on it's 'hips' sassily as she insists this.
- Kuro Heise has posed:
"With elocution like that I'm surprised you can manage a B" Mr. Black stays calm with hands behind his back directing in silence his constructs as one of them leaps out towards the Arcade in the hopes of slamming into the machine and ruining the high score chances of a student who had been there since before school ended! Instead it explodes into a shower of bright orange confetti showering the kid in the glorious orange bits of cloth before they can be sucked back towards his book. With a bored expression he simply pulls back out the book and begins taking down notes on her combat.
There's a small pause as he calls out. "Pop quiz..." A small beam of inky black slamming out of his pen at the center of mass of poor orange. "Who was the first prime minister of the Meiji period?" Something... magic about that beam as if it strikes it would cause a sudden surge of anxiety and panic that could quickly build with further exposure.
- Reiko Touyama has posed:
Prism Keeper Orange does her best to stop homework golems from running amok. The good thing-- her koi allow her to crowd control well--- she can summon a lot of them! and they can all hone in on individual targets.
She thinks, if she can keep this up-- nothing Mister Black says can affect her! Yeah! She can save the day! She can do this!
She does wish Yellow was here though. A lot.
Then- he raises his pen- while Orange is trying to concentrate on taking sown Homework golems-- summoning Koi and throwing them out-
That she only catches the words Mister Black says- and his actions- too late as a beam of inky black strikes into her--- nrgh---! It splashes against her- leaving a little fuzz of black against her orange form- orange energy does it's best try to wipe it out- but it's still getting to her.
If the beam also didn't induce some sort of panic and anxiety and right now that's what she's feeling. If she could think straight, she'd HAVE the right answer. Orange is very smart! and does her homework! And listens in school!
But sadly, she can't think straight right now but yet she feels compelled to give some sort of answer!?
"K--Kuroda Kiyotaka?" she answers.
Ohhhhh so closed. That's the /Second/ Prime Minister of Japan during the Meiji Period.
She does her best to try to shake this off.
