- Madoka Kaname has posed:
It's Sunday morning and Madoka took the chance to spend the night at Homura's house for a fun and snuggly sleepover. Whether or not it's her 'favorite' bedroom Madoka has been slowly gravitating to the third floor guest room over time, largely due to the adjoined guest bathroom that implies a certain level of modesty. So it's there where she wakes up. It isn't because the sun has started to hit the blinds, though it has, and she isn't having any nightmare that wake her up. Homura certainly didn't become any less comfortable to sleep next to, either.
No, she wakes up a little earlier than expected because nature is calling. Normally this wouldn't present an issue, but right now the bed is so extra warm and cozy and she doesn't want to leave. She hugs warmly against Homura, leaning her forehead into the other girl's and trying to ignore the issue. This works for a few minutes, but not much more.
Once she resigns herself to this she realizes a second problem. Just because her sleep is disturbed doesn't mean Homura's has to be, and with the way they're snuggled together extricating herself without waking the other girl up going to be difficult. Very carefully she slips her arms out from around Homura, one at a time. Unable to help herself she runs her hand over her long black hair, suppressing a giggle at the 'stolen' hairpet. When she is free herself she slowly starts to slide to the edge of the bed, only to pause.
She gets a better look at Homura with that tiny bit of distance between them, blushing as she sees her girlfriends innocent and calm sleeping face. This naturally makes her want to curl right back up with her, but she resists the urge. She bites her bottom lip a little, imagining Homura's lips curling downward into a tiny pouty frown, her arms crossing to her chest with nothing in her arms. She imagines Homura waking up alone and abandoned in the otherwise warm and cozy bed, and her tender heart just about breaks.
Luckily, she has a solution.
She carefully reaches behind herself, patting around near her hip. She smiles when she finds it, lifting up a large cream colored bunny rabbit plushy with big floppy ears. It's super soft and squeezable, and has always been one of her favorites. Very carefully she cozies it up to Homura, pressing it to her chest and nuzzling it's fuzzy face to Homura's cheek while slipping away.
As she had hoped when she's out of Homura's arms they instinctively close, finding instead the large, soft plushy to hug onto instead. She lifts the covers up and tucks them in just over Homura's shoulder, and then steps back for a moment to look her over. The sight so adorable Madoka nearly squeals; she'd take a picture if her phone was on; Homura sleeping there with an adorable expression on her face, hugging onto Madoka's stuffed animal. More of them sit around her on the bed. Madoka had been bringing them over with her one by one as she'd slept in the same bedroom, at first taking them back home with her afterwards. Eventually though she forgot one, and upon consideration let them slowly collect over time until about half of the ones from home are now here. Most occupy the bed, but one or two sit on the dresser, facing towards it.
Suppressing another giggle Madoka sneaks out carefully, trying to stay quiet as she makes her way to the restroom.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura Akemi is in a dancing hall, happily waltzing with her beloved Madoka. She doesn't seem to notice that there is no music, nor does she notice that the other dancers are faceless and almost ghost-like. All she notices is her darling in her arms, swaying happily and smiling sweetly. Their hands raise, and Madoka takes a step back in order to twirl around, and when she returns to Homura's arms she's soft and feels like plushie. The black haired Puella Magi takes this in stride, dancing with her ever-cuddly girlfriend.
Meanwhile, in the waking world, one might hear her mumbling something that sounds like "Madoka".
Homura continues to dance with her plushie girlfriend, but odd things start to add up. She doesn't have a heartbeat. She isn't as warm. When Homura holds her she doesn't seem to have any bones. The dance hall falls away, the dream vanishes, and Homura's eyes flutter slowly awake.
The giant bunny plushie in Homura's arms is not Madoka, but it smells like Madoka and that's good enough. She lays there for a few moments, hugging the bunny close. It's Madoka's bunny, which makes it precious in its own way, one of many plushies that aren't Homura's but Homura gets to cuddle them anyways.
Slowly, she wakes up. Her mind kicks into gear. She's in a familiar bedroom surrounded by Madoka's plushies. The room even smells like Madoka and she can hear Madoka-like noises nearby. Must be Madoka's room. The sun is up, and Homura wonders just how long it will be before Junko or Tomohisa comes in searching for their daughter.
She doesn't remember what happened last night. Did she enter through the window or the front door? She doesn't remember seeing Madoka's parents or eating her father's cooking. She must have snuck in. It's the only explanation.
She slowly sits up in bed, releasing the bunny and looking for the brightest spot in the room, where the sun shines in. That's the window. She swings her feet off the edge of the bed, pushing the covers aside and not noticing that she's wearing violet pajamas.
Should she wait to say goodbye to Madoka? There might not be time. She thinks she hears someone at the door. She'll have to apologize later. She moves towards the window, which is a little oddly shaped than what's she's used to, opens it and jumps out...
... and lands among the plants of her balcony. What is going on here? Homura's half-sleeping eyes stare at the plants, and she looks back into Madoka's room. Is she still dreaming or...
... is this some kind of Labyrinth?
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka walks back to the guest room feeling much better, though still rather sleepy. Another hour or so of snuggling with Homura will do nicely, she things, regardless of whether or not she actually gets any additional sleep. She opens the door and looks to the bed, blinking a little when seeing Homura is gone. So she woke up after all? Aww. At first she considers wandering downstairs to the kitchen, assuming that's where Homura went, but then it strikes her as odd that Homura shut the door behind herself.
Instead she wanders in further only to see a figure out on the balcony in the sun wearing violet pajamas. Ah, so she decided to get a bit of fresh air? Madoka fails to notice the confusion at first, but then notices the window open rather than the door to the balcony. A confused expression plays on her face and she wanders over. "Homura-chan, are you okay?" she asks while lifting a hand and rubbing at one of her eyes, stifling a yawn. "Did you have another one of your silly dreams? Or... are you hoping to go out and have fun in the sun today..?"
Her soft pink eyes turn slowly to the bed. It's so inviting. They then turn up to Homura. ...that's so inviting, too. "We can talk about it, if you want? It's still a little early though. I told Mama I'd call her to check up at noon so I don't need to get up for real for a while."
That's when Madoka decides to be the tiniest bit manipulative. She gets up onto the bed and crawls back under the covers, resting on her back with her head looking towards Homura through the window she exited from. Her hair is still down so it pools fluffily on the pillow behind her, and then very slowly she lifts the bedcovers up by the corner, a clear invitation. She tilts her head mildly and gives Homura a questioning, inviting expression.
In her head estimates this as having a 99.5% chance of succeeding.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura's bleary purple eyes look up at the sky. It doesn't look like a Labyrinth sky. Sure there are colors and fluffy things up there but there's no reason to believe that they aren't just clouds. This isn't a Labyrinth. Which means...
This still doesn't make sense.
Homura hears Madoka's voice, asking if she's okay. She turns around to look at her darling, smiling. Whatever is happening, she's with Madoka, and Madoka Isn't worried so it can't be that bad. Still, Homura's confused. Fun in the sun? Huh? "I'm just trying to figure out why my house in your room."
Homura is clearly not awake yet.
She might figure it out sooner, but Madoka is in bed, and inviting Homura to join her. Things are a little weird, but... cuddles! Homura glances to the window, closes it, and then enters the balcony through the sliding glass doorway like a normal person.
She shuffles towards Madoka like a zombie and then collapses face-first on the bed, crawling up just a little bit more to rest her head on her girlfriend. Then after a moment she shifts around so that she's under the covers and wrapping her arms around Madoka, closing her eyes and looking like she's about to fall asleep again. The bunny she was hugging earlier is underneath her head like a pillow.
Homura mutters. "We're still in the timeline where we cuddle and kiss a lot, right? That's my favorite timeline." Her arms adjust, hugging Madoka closer but still in a lazy way. Her soft bedmussed hair presses against Madoka's neck.
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
For some reason confused Homura is a very cute Homura, even if the things she says don't make a lot of sense. "In my room?" Madoka asks, a little confused herself. She does smile when Homura walks inside and heads towards the bed, the enticement of snuggling seeming to have worked.
When the dark haired girl flops face first Madoka lifts her head in surprise, and then giggles when it's clear Homura isn't hurt, scooting closer as Homura hugs onto her. When Homura mutters quietly Madoka puts on a thoughtful expression. "Hm. Let's find out?" She slides closer still, rolling onto her side and returning the embrace, drawing herself close up against Homura. The arm over her comfortably rubs her back and she nuzzles her cheek into Homura's soft hair, only to slowly sneak in the rest of the way and press a soft kiss to Homura's lips, letting it linger sweetly for several long moments.
When it finally breaks her she lifts her chin and presses a second one to Homura's forehead before whispering, "It's definitely the timeline where we cuddle and kiss a lot." She entangles her legs with Homura's teasing the other girl's toes with her own before whispering even more quietly, "It's my favorite one, too."
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Madoka's gonna figure it out. Okay. Madoka's clearly more awake than Homura is, so it's good that she's on the case. It's a little odd though because her method of investigation involves kissing Homura. To be fair, that's observable evidence, and Homura's more than willing to participate in such an experiment. Things don't always make sense to sleepy Homura but Madoka's always pleasant.
Especially when kissing happens. Sweet happy morning kisses. Homura presses into the kiss, holding it for a long time. When they break, she smiles. Her forehead is kissed, and Madoka presents her conclusion.
"I agree. Good job on a successful investigation." Homura's doesn't even sound like she's kidding. She's actively complimenting Madoka's detective skills.
After a while she wakes up just a little bit more, her eyes open, and she says, "Oh! This is the guest room." She nuzzles her cheek against Madoka, so that she can be cuddly while looking past her at the same time. "Wow, um. You've got a lot of your plushies in here. Do you have enough for at home? Do you need more?"
Yes, that is the first thought that happens to come to Homura's mind. Then the second thought comes. Homura's heart beats just a little bit faster as she asks, "Um... do you like this room? I mean... I could set it aside for you, i-if... i-if you wanted a room in my house." She blushes a little. Does that make it their house? Sure it's in Homura's name but if Madoka has a room here...
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Sweet happy morning kisses are one of Madoka's favorite things. They have stiff competition with sweet happy evening kisses, and sweet happy afternoon kisses, though. Oh, and all the various cuddles, snuggles and hugs too. Maybe it's safer to say that happy morning kisses are an important member amongst a set of Madoka's favorite things.
"Thank you, Homura-chan!" she replies to the compliment, accepting it in a playful manner. That's when Homura exclaims with sudden certainty they are, in fact, the same place they went to sleep the night before and Madoka giggles, closing her eyes and returning the nuzzle. "I like having them around. I know when I sleep over here I don't really need them since I have you, but it does make it feel more homey." A small nod is then given, "I still have plenty at home. Matilda is over there and she counts for a lot!" A bright smile accompanies that statement. "Well... I always like having more stuffed animals to hug, but I don't need any."
Madoka is hugging her girlfriend close enough that she can feel the increase in heart rate. When the question is asked she giggles nervously. "Of course I'd like a room in your house, Homura-chan," she finally says, adopting a sweet and soft tone of voice. "Having somewhere I belong in your home would make me very happy."
She's still hugging Homura, but rather than squeezing her she's moved to holding onto her gently, giving her gentle affections by running her fingers through her hair. Fingertips gently brush over the back of her neck and then sneak up to scritch Homura behind the ear, something she's noticed the other girl doing for her, looking sweetly and lovingly into her eyes.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Oh my god... Ohmygod ohmygod ohmygodohmygodohmygod--
...
Madoka sleeps here now!
To say that Homura's face is red is an understatement. It is bright red. Glowing red, even. Her face is so red she might be mistaken for someone with a sunburn if she wasn't so snuggly. It's not that Homura minds but like... eep! That increased heart rate continues for a while, and the scritching she recieves behind her ears puts a point on Madoka's intentions.
Homura holds Madoka very tight, and her muscles tense and tighten up. How did she not notice this before? Sure, there were a few plushies here, and she didn't mind it, but... this is the first time she's really noticed just how much Madoka's made herself at home here. If she hadn't been so bleary-headed as to mistake this room for her girlfriend's, would she have really thought about it?
"I'm happy," she whispers. "I'm happy. You can use my house as much as you like. You already have a key. I don't cook as well as your dad but anything here you're free to use, including the clothes in the closets. I love you so much. I exist for you."
She lets out a long breath. Her muscles relax, her hug goes from almost too tight to a comfortable closeness. Her heart is still beating, but the more the idea sinks in the more okay she is with it. Homura doesn't want to read too much into it, but... this is the girl who said she wanted to stay with her forever.
"This room is all yours. No one will use it but you and me. If I have a guest, they can use one of the other rooms."
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Madoka gets to see Homura's face turning redder and redder up close and personal. She giggles softly and slips her hand down to cup her girlfriends cheek, her palm feeling soft and cool compared to such an intense blush. The hug becomes closer and tighter, and Madoka goes back to squeezing Homura to herself. For a moment she actually gets worried as Homura's heart races, since she did used to have heart troubles. She fixed those with Puella magic, though, right?
"Aww, Homura-chan," she whispers back. "I'm glad you're happy. I want you to be happy." She thinks for a moment before adding, "I like spending time over here. I really like this house... but I like it so much because you're here."
'I exist for you.'
Madoka blushes brightly herself, though it doesn't quite make it to the level of Homura's. She eases up on her own hug and looks into Homura's eyes again, only to smile at what's said next. "Thank you, Homura-chan. I'm happy to have a room here. It makes me very happy to know I'm always accepted and welcome here. You've never made me feel like an unwelcome guest."
She nuzzles her cheek into Homura's, only to turn her head away and let her fluffy hair brush softly against Homura. When she eventually meets her girlfriends gaze she goes back a little in the conversation, a mischievous sparkle in her eyes. "Anything here, Homura-chan?"
She rolls, pressing her admittedly light weight onto Homura and crawling up on top of her, reaching back behind herself to take Homura's wrists and pull them down and place them on the pillow beside her head. Her smile is bright and almost as mischievous as her smile, but it cools into a more playful expression as she lowers herself so she's laying lazily on top of Homura, fingers releasing her wrists so her fingertips can brush over her palms before interlacing with Homura's own, holding both hands at once.
Looking down at Homura she gives her another kiss, though it's just as soft and gentle as the first, as energetic as the last few moments might have been. "I love you too," she whispers. "I'm glad you exist for me, because I don't just love you; I need you." More sweet kisses come forth.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura's heart is as healthy as it could ever be, both literally and metaphorically. She may be fated to fight Witches forever but at least she has 'doka. She doesn't need anything else.
"I like this house, too. I have so many happy memories with you here. I might never want to move out." She giggles, and her giggle sounds almost like relief. "I like your house for a lot of the same reasons. I certainly don't mind having a room here that reminds me of you. Especially if it means I might find you in here~."
'Anything here?'
Homura recognizes that coy tone of voice. Soon Madoka is on top of her, and pushing her hands against the pillows. Homura looks up at her, blushing, still a little nervous, but she's smiling, and she also has a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Anything."
Madoka rests on top of her, and how can Homura not enjoy this. Her fingers interlace with Madoka, happily holding both of her hands while gravity pushes them together. They kiss, again, and Homura lifts her head off the pillow to push into it. There is no doubt in her mind. This, right here, is where Homura belongs: With Madoka.
"You have me, and I love you. I think I might love you now more than I did when you saved me from being a Witch." She giggles, the laughter shaking her underneath Madoka. "I said all that stuff about passionate love fading, but I think my feelings have actually gotten more intense."
She lets out a long, happy sigh, and her face returns to normal. She looks up at Madoka with cool, loving eyes. It might be hard to notice, but something about the way Homura is gazing up at her beloved is just a little less devilish than usual.
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
"I'll make sure you have more and more happy memories here, Homura-chan. I think that's why like it here so much, too." She pauses for a moment before adding a bit guiltily, "That and that it has it's own dancefloor... B-but dancing with you is a memory too!" And Homura could realistically have a dance floor in any house she owned, thanks to having her own construction company.
Madoka can't help but giggle, "You never know when you'll walk into this room and find me here~!" She shakes her head afterwards, "That's not true. Of course I'd tell you I was here, because I'd want to see you as soon as possible!"
Blushing, slightly nervous Homura is admittedly even a little more fun for Madoka push back and crawl on top of, because for a moment it lets her pretend that Homura is the innocent little angel and she's the slightly devilish one. Of course neither of them are completely innocent, but it can be fun to pretend.
In the end it's really just a novel, playful way to cuddle with her pretty girlfriend. That's usually where Madoka's intentions lie, even when she's pretending to be naughty. "Now I've got you right where I want you, my little Homhom-chan~!" Cue several teasing kisses to Homura's cheeks, of course, because 'hom' is the sound a kiss on the cheek makes!
Madoka is as happy to be snuggling as ever, the laws of nature itself drawing them closer, pressing them into a hug at a constant rate. All of physics isn't out to get them, it seems. Madoka makes a happy sound as Homura returns her kiss, and after it breaks she squirms a little, not because she's uncomfortable, but because it makes the closeness a little more enjoyable. Or at least it does to her.
She blushes and giggles in happy embarrassment as Homura tells her she loves her even more, enjoying the shaking from Homura's laughter, her fingers brushing over the backs of Homura's hands as she holds them. "I love you just as much as I did back then. Maybe even more. The more I learn about you, and the more you grow as a person the more I love you."
The blush becomes steady as Homura expresses herself, because they're the kinds of words that Madoka loves to hear. She bites her bottom lip shyly, worried what she's about to say will sound selfish or immodest. She says them anyway. "I love the intensity of your passion for me. It doesn't scare me at all. When you show me the true intensity of your love for me I feel like I'm basking in the heat of the sun, warmed by your passion." Madoka, of course, uses Homura's own name at the end and intending both meanings; passion itself and the metaphorical 'flame' that represents their romantic relationship.
Homura's blush fades and Madoka meets Homura's eyes with her own, warm, loving and inviting. "Homura-chan." Madoka speaks the name softly and with adoration. The repeated 'I love you' is implied.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura snerks at the mention of the dance floor, and at Madoka's somewhat guilty expression. "Don't think I didn't arrange that room specifically so that we could have fun in it, because I totally did." She laughs a little, adding, "It's a cool dance floor, isn't it? I've got more than enough good memories there; and in the cuddle couch room, too!" No Homura isn't going to judge Madoka for liking the nice things that Homura owns and shares with Madoka. Though the more Madoka moves in the less Homura thinks of it as solely hers and the more she thinks if it as theirs.
Homura smiles softly as she looks affectionately up at Madoka. "If I'm asleep when you come, don't hesitate to wake me up so that I can see you, too; and if for some reason you don't want to wake me, remember I'm available for girlfriend cuddles even while sleeping~."
It might go without saying since they sleep next to each other all the time, but Homura does prefer to give explicit permission about such things.
It might be a role reversal to have Madoka as the devilish and Homura as the angel, but Madoka's called Homura her guardian angel so much that she's starting to believe it. It's certainly making her feel a lot less creepy about some of the stalking she used to do. Even if neither of them are completely innocent, Homura doesn't exactly feel guilty about it.
'Now I've got you right where I want you, my little Homhom-chan~!'
That line elicits a giggle from Homura, and that giggle continues even as she's kissed on the cheeks. "Alas~. I am caught by a beautiful woman, and there's no escape, because her hook is in my heart." Despite her words, Homura doesn't exactly sound distressed. 'Playful' would be a more apt term.
Madoka's squirming incites just a little bit of squirming from Homura, mostly due to excitement from the thought of getting to cuddle. She might be picking up some of Madoka's cuter habits. Then Madoka returns her declaration of love and Homura sighs happily. Then she starts blushing a little more as Madoka goes on, but Homura's expression isn't nervous. She's looking at Madoka, almost studying her. Her face is neutral, but with a blush like that it could never be cold.
After a moment of thought, spurred by Madoka calling out her name, she grins, pressing her fingers against Madoka's hands and enjoying the closeness of her beloved. "You've never rejected my feelings, or made me feel guilty for having them. Thank you." Then, with deep affection in her voice, and in her eyes, "Madoka-chan~."
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
"You did a good job. It's wonderful having somewhere we can go to dance any time we want, any time of day or night." It's honest praise because Madoka is very thankful for it. "I like the cuddle couch," she adds happily. Filling the house with happy memories so it would truly feel like a home for Homura is something she'd set out to do on purpose. Little did she know it'd make it feel like a home to her, as well.
Madoka is just about to say she'd feel bad about waking Homura up when she was sleeping when the alternative is mentioned, which draws out a string of giggles from her. "You're so nice to snuggle when you're sleeping Homura-chan! You look so innocent and adorable when your relaxed I think I could hug you like that forever." Pretend this is separate from the fact Madoka could hug her forever anyway. "I will remember, though. You can snuggle me when I'm sleeping, too. I love waking up in your arms." She leans close enough to rub the tip of her nose against Homura's and whispers, "Just like I did today."
It'd be a lie to say Madoka didn't find Homura's interest in her a tiny bit creepy at the very start of this timeloop. It'd also be a lie to say she didn't get over it very quickly. Once she learned the full extent of the truth she really doesn't see it that way at all; she knows exactly why Homura was so protective of her, and why she might have been controlling in certain situations and timeloops. The fact that Madoka had herself literally asked her to do it doesn't hurt, either. If Homura is starting to believe that she is and has been her guardian angel rather than a creepy stalker Madoka will consider that being one step towards realizing and accepting the truth.
"That's right," Madoka teases as she plays along, "Now that I've got my hooks into you you'll never get away. It's a lifetime of cuddles and kisses, for you!" She's a bit of a bad actor, though; it's blatantly obvious she's being silly with how brightly she's smiling.
If Homura reacts to Madoka's squirming with squirming of her own it's only going to encourage the behavior, Madoka wiggling as she cuddles with Homura. She has Homura's arms to press her arms against, and she squeezes onto her hands firmly in place of tight hugs and backrubs.
Homura thanks her and Madoka almost laughs, instead smiling bright, showing her teeth. "How could I reject them? Your feelings are beautiful. I'm so lucky to be the one you feel that way towards, to have someone who loves me so deeply and so fully." Even so she answers, "You're welcome." Her name is spoken with such affection, and Madoka's smile tempers from a sunny one into a sweet one.
Finally, she can't help it any longer, releasing Homura's hands and gently running her own down her arms. When they get to her shoulders she straddles Homura with her legs so she can lift herself up a tiny bit without hurting her, sliding her arms beneath Homura and physically lifting her up the half inch to pull her close before giggling and letting herself flop back down on top of her. Squeeze after squeeze of warm hugs are given to her girlfriend, and Madoka lets out a happy sigh, tilting her head down to bury her face in the crook of Homura's neck and nuzzle against her for a moment or two. She takes in a breath and the scent of her beautiful girlfriend, lifting her head away afterwards to look back into Homura's eyes.
Her smile is still sweet, but it's her eyes that are more expressive, filled with love and adoration. She brushes noses with Homura again, first the tip and then sliding it down the side, nose poking teasingly to her cheek in a promise of what's soon to come. Her lips hover just above her girlfriends, eyes still open while whispering, "Homura," so quietly that her words can be felt as her breath as easily as heard. Finally she closes that tiny gap and presses her lips to Homura's, soft and sweet, gentle and yielding to any replies.
This time she intends to kiss her for more than just a few lingering moments, however, her eyes eventually drawing close as her hair falls down and tickles Homura's face, hiding them both behind a veil of pink.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
Homura can't help but smile at Madoka's praise regarding her handiwork. "I'm glad, and it is wonderful. It means so much to me that I get to dance with you all the time. I'm glad you feel welcomed here, because you are my favorite person and I always want to be with you."
Homura smirks, and then shakes her head. "I know you're too nice to wake me up unless it's an emergency or something, which is why I offered the alternative. Even if you don't wake up, I think I'll know you're there in my dreams, and that's good enough." She giggles, remembering the dream she woke up with. "After all, I think I noticed when you suddenly became a plushie. Since you said it's okay, I'll be happy to let you wake up next to me, any time you like~."
Madoka playfully threatens her with a lifetime of cuddles and kisses, and Homura can't help but giggle along with her. "Then my fate is sealed. I'll be your little Homura forever." Madoka's continued squiggling elicits more from Homura, and more giggles, too. She returns the squeeze of Madoka's hands, looking up at her with stars in her eyes.
"I'm the lucky one. You've always been the one I love, and you always will be. That you love me in return is the best thing that's ever happened to me." There's a crack in her voice near the end. She might cry for joy if she keeps thinking about it.
Madoka's hands release Homura's, and run down her arms. She shivers, letting out a sharp sigh as Madoka moves her arms around her. Once her girlfriend is comfortable, Homura wraps her arms around Madoka, a finger tracing images on her back. The last time she drew on Madoka's back it was just lines, but now she's making specific things. First she draws the kanji for 'dai' (big) next to the kanji for 'suki' (like), the combination of which means 'love'. Then she draws the kanji for 'ai' (also love). These and other sweet things are drawn on Madoka's back as she lovingly squeezes Homura.
The scent of lavender might not be as strong in the morning, before Homura has put on her perfume, but the scent of her shampoo is still detectable. Madoka's nose goes on to tease Homura, and Homura smiles and waits in anticipation. Her name is whispered, and her beloved's breath tickles her skin, and she shivers again. Her lips pucker just slightly as Madoka's lips draw close, and part slightly to accept Madoka's kiss.
The two of them are hidden behind a curtain of pink, and a sheet of black spreads out beneath them. Homura's eyes stay open to admire Madoka, but slowly drift shut. She stays there, kissing Madoka, reaching up to cradle Madoka's head from behind, and push her just slightly closer.
Not only does she get to wake up with Madoka, but she gets to hug and kiss her, too. Could she ever ask for anything else?
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
"You're my favorite person, too. Everything I do with you is fun, just because you're the one I'm doing it with." Just how true that is has been becoming more and more obvious to her, lately. "My favorite person, my very best friend, my love." It strikes Madoka just then that so many things in a row could be silly, so after a moment she says in a silly voice, "My snuggly-wuggly super cutie adorable-worable cuddlebug homuhomu Homura-chan!" A long stream of laughs and giggles follows after.
A meek look is given to Homura as she's proclaimed 'too nice' to wake her up. Madoka doesn't deny it. A softer giggle then, "Do I give you sweet dreams? Now I'm going to feel bad whenever I'm not sleeping next to you, because I want you to have happy dreams." An apologetic but cheerful smile is given at the mention of turning into a plushy, "Mr. Fluffykins wasn't quite the same?" No, the cream bunny's name isn't Mr. Fluffykins, she's just being silly.
"Mmm, my little Homura. I like the sound of that. The sweetest and most wonderful girlfriend I could ever have, and she's all mine~." Madoka resists the urge to poke Homura in the nose. "We're both lucky." She decides to stick her tongue out briefly, instead. "If we get into which of us is luckier we'll get into a playfight that will never end! You're the best for me, and I'm the best for you, and that's that." She smiles brightly, only to calm again as Homura's emotions become so powerful.
"I've said it so many times, but I feel the same way. Loving someone so much, wanting to be with them so much, caring about them so much, and knowing they feel the same way... I think that might be the most wonderful thing that exists in this whole world." She looks into Homura's eyes with a kind expression on her face, and has to actively work to keep tears from showing in their corners, "I always thought the world was a beautiful place, but even I didn't realize how beautiful until I met you."
Madoka presses into Homura when she's hugged in return, squeezing the dark haired girl to her warmly. It takes her a moment to notice a pattern to the finger tracings, and when she recognizes what exactly it is her cheeks flush again from the sweetness of it. She even lets out an, "Aww," in response, her wiggly snuggles given to Homura along with the tone showing just what she thinks of the gesture.
Homura's shampoo is as much 'Homura's scent' as her perfume, just as Madoka's likely is to Homura. Finding Homura's lips ready for her when they press together draws a happy sigh from her out through her nose. Soft presses of lips to lips are given, and upon finding Homura's slightly parted Madoka squeezes her warmly, shifting a little higher to nibble gently on her girlfriends upper lip, pressing her lower one gently between Homura's.
The hand cradling the back of her head causes Madoka to make a soft but very happy sound, lifting her head just slightly to encourage the gesture. Of course it wasn't necessary, as soon the hand is drawing her closer.
It's a clear signal that Homura enjoys the kissing as much as she does, and Madoka doesn't need much encouragement. Rather than merely nibbling on Homura's lip she suckles on it gently, drawing further between her lips and delicately tasting it with the tip of her tongue, drawing away slowly to let it exit her mouth with an audible sound that makes her blush. She giggles and smiles, pressing her smiling lips to Homura's more firmly, pushing her head very gently into the pillow from the pressure.
Madoka's hands rub up and down Homura's back as she gets more into the kissing, tilting her head a bit more. Then, with her lips rubbing warmly to Homura's she gently begins tasting them with the tip of her tongue, playfully brushing along her lips and then behind them, only to brush them over her pearly whites.
Then with a heavy, happy sigh Madoka relaxes, pulling back and breaking the kiss for a short moment, nuzzling her cheek against Homura's before going back for more. This time it's her bottom lip Madoka goes for, sucking it fully into her mouth and playing with it with her tongue and her own lips, squeezing it to feel it's softness and plumpness and tracing her tongue over it like she's trying to apply lipstick. Another squeeze and a shift and she starts to explore deeper into Homura's mouth with her tongue, finding Homura's own and--
An hour later Madoka finally pulls away, shifting on top of her girlfriend so she can lay her head down upon Homura's shoulder, her hair being out of it's usual twintails allowing it much more comfortably than usual. She nuzzles into her happily, a genuinely satisfied expression on her face, a happy smile curled on her lips that doesn't look like it's going to go away any time soon.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
"I feel the same. Even if we were doing the most objectively boring things, I would still be happy because I'm doing it with you." Homura smiles. That isn't far from the truth. Even something as boring as office paperwork and meetings have been fun with Madoka by her side. The way everyone laughed at the bridge of the Tenshi Maru is pretty telling in regards to how happy their workplace is.
Then Madoka starts calling Homura increasingly sweet names, and then goes over the top with snuggly wuggly cuteness. She laughs, and then adds to it, "And your my sweetie cutie lovely huggable lovable cuddly-est very best girlfriend angel Madoka-chan who I'll love forever and ever!" Then she breaks out in laughter again, giggling right alongside Madoka.
Homura adores the meekness of her little angel, and then she brightly smiles as her beloved proclaims feeling guilty for not sleeping next to you. "I have a lot of sweet dreams, Madoka-chan. Not always when you're around, but they are all thanks to you. You took all of my nightmares away and replaced them with sweetness and love." She giggles about the bunny and says, "Well, it's just that I was dancing with you in my dreams and I started to notice you were a lot more squishy."
Homura's smile shows teeth as Madoka declares her compromise. "We are, aren't we? I've never felt a love so perfect as ours. I mean... if my love, affection and beauty makes you happy, that only makes me luckier. If you're goal is to make me happy, then you're doing a wonderful job." She winks up at her, saying, "What we have is wonderful, and I'm so glad that I get to share it with you."
Madoka says that the world is a beautiful place, and Homura... doesn't stop smiling, she's too happy, but there's a slight change in her eyes and maybe a begrudging admittance. "Sure, I'll accept that this universe is wonderful. Bad things happen; but things also get better, too. If it's a world that accepts your existence, I won't begrudge it just because other worlds have been cruel. This is a wonderful feeling, and I wouldn't trade it for anything."
Homura's back drawing produces the desired effect. Or maybe it's a critical hit, considering what happens next. The wiggly cuddles brings a soft squeal out of Homura, and she wiggles underneath Madoka. Wiggling with your girlfriend is a lot of fun, Homura realizes. When kissed in such a passionate way, Homura pinches Madoka's lower lip between her own. She finds herself wondering just how much more she can take before losing herself in passion.
Considering that she's already pressing on the back of Madoka's head, she may already be at the point of no return.
Madoka's tongue plays with her lips, and Homura is drawn deeper into it. She tingles all over. Is she still blushing? She can't tell at this point. She certainly doesn't mind being pushed into the pillow by the power of Madoka's kisses. There's no more giggling, but Homura is smiling at the same time, flicking out her own tongue, brushing it along Madoka's lips to encourage her.
The kiss breaks, and Homura's eyes flutter open. Did they close before? They must have. She looks up and admires her angel, her beloved, breathing heavily and with mouth open. Homura wants more, and nuzzles against Madoka's cheek in turn. The hand at the back of Madoka's head drops down to her neck, giving Madoka a firm massage there. When the kissing resumes, Homura's tongue is already preparing to lick Madoka's lips, but finds Madoka's instead--
It's been an hour. Homura is feeling relaxed, completely at peace, and overall pretty good about herself. The satisfaction on Madoka's face isn't hurting, either. At some point Homura's hand moved towards grabbing a pillow, which she now releases, wrapping her arms around Madoka and nuzzling against her. She moves her lips closer to Madoka's ear and whispers, "Like I was saying... you're the best thing that's ever happened to me."
Cuddling is especially fun right now, with the way she feels, but Homura is also especially lazy about it. Tired and satisfied, yet still savoring every moment.
"This really is my favorite timeline."
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
Paperwork is pretty boring. If Madoka knew Homura's words extended even to that she'd be ecstatic. As it is she's merely very happy. The sugar sweet cutesy compliments come out and Madoka has to close her eyes from giggling so much, twisting from side to side while hugging Homura.
"You deserve sweetness and love. As much of it as I can give you," Madoka responds, only to giggle more softly at the mention of how her dream changed. "It's nice when stuffed animals are squishy, but I wouldn't want you to be." She gives Homura a squeeze, closing her eyes to feel it, "You're soft but not squishy, and when I hug you close you press back against me just as much."
A soft headshake is given, "I don't know if our love is different than others, but I hope lots of people get to feel as amazing as this. You do make me happy, and I want to make you happy too. Seeing you smile means so much to me, and knowing you feel loved means even more." She smiles happily to the wink, "I wouldn't trade what we have for anything in the world." She couldn't mean it any more than she does.
Homura's emphasis on 'this' universe puts a different expression on Madoka's face. It isn't a judging one, or an upset one at all, though. It's more of an 'Oh, you.' look of ruffled affection. "This world put you and me together, so I can't do anything other than love it."
If wiggling while cuddling gets Homura to squeal and wiggle as well Madoka is certainly going to have to take note. One thing's for certain, it does make it much easier to feel how comfortably they're pressed together. It has the same effect as pressing into a hand petting your head or rubbing your back, Madoka finds.
Speaking of which, the only reason Madoka doesn't keep pressing her kisses so firmly on Homura's lips are that she wants to push into the hand that massages her neck.
After the long interlude of kissing Madoka looks lovingly into Homura's eyes as she rests her head on the slightly taller girl's shoulder, snuggled up on top of her and cuddling in relaxed rather than wiggly fashion. A sweet whisper is spoken to her, and she tilts her head up a bit more, directing her sublime smile at Homura. "And you me."
It is a fun thing, kissing the one you love so much. It isn't like she got bored either, not being romantic with Homura; it isn't even possible, she thinks. More it feels like she really, truly got to express herself as best she could since their minds and souls had connected, showing Homura every little love and affection she felt for her.
It also doesn't hurt that it felt darn good.
Her smile widens a little at Homura's words, soft pink eyes sparkling. She likes when Homura is so definitive, when she makes it so clear how happy she is with her. Madoka slips one arm out from under Homura, giving a squeeze with the other to make it clear she isn't pulling away, and strokes the top of her head gently. It's a protective, comforting gesture, but it's more of an affectionate one right now.
Resting with Homura like this feels wonderful, and Madoka is so comfortable with her that she lets her fingers slip up and brush through Homura's mussed bangs, playing first with the soft hair itself and then delicately tracing fingers along her hairline, only to lightly trace random patterns over her forehead just to feel her skin, better learn the features of the face of the one she so adores. Her lips begin to part, only to curl back into a smile, and instead of speaking she lifts all fingers but one, delicately drawing the strokes for 'haeru' on Homura's forehead.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
"I admit it was a little strange seeing you turn into a plushie of yourself," says Homura, recalling her dream. "... but you were still cuddly, so it's okay. I just start wondering what's going on when my girlfriend doesn't seem to have any bones." She shakes her head. "If I knew you were just getting up for a bit I might have stayed asleep."
Homura tries to imagine how Madoka swapped out with a plushie. She imagines something like Madoka in an Indiana Jones outfit, ready to carefully swap out a golden Madoka idol for a soft bunny plushie.
She nods eagerly. "Yeah, I like hugging you but I like how solid you are, and how warm..."
Is their love different from others? Homura shrugs, brushing her shoulders against the bed. "I wonder. I mean. I think at least some of our friends feel love like this. I don't know if it's always exactly the same, but I hope for their sake it's wonderful." With a smile, she adds, "... but this love is ours to enjoy and share, and it is beautiful."
Homura looks up at Madoka's 'oh you' expression, and she can't help but flash a toothy grin. She feels like a child who's done something slightly bad and isn't hated for it, but people feel obligated to shake her finger at her anyways. "It did. I can't deny it." Her grin fades into a slightly more serious expression. "I won't lie though. There is a lot more beauty in this world."
Madoka wanting more of that neck massage only encourages Homura to do it more.
'And you me'.
Homura flashes another toothy smile. "Well if that's how it is then I'm going to keep happening to you. All time time, forever if I have a say in it. You're right, Madoka-chan. We really are perfect for each other."
They both had plenty of time to show affection for each other, and Homura can't help but be happy after spending so much time with her beloved. Especially caught up in such passion and affection. "Is there a word for this feeling? 'Bliss' almost feels too weak."
Madoka adjusts, and Homura's head is petted. She lets out a soft 'mmm' sound at the affection. "I don't know what I did to deserve this, getting to wake up next to you and do things like this. You're the most amazing girlfriend, Madoka-chan. You take such good care of me." With a giggle. "I don't think I ever imagined things would turn out this way, but I am so, so glad that they have."
Madoka traces patterns on Homura's forehead, and Homura sits there with eyes closed enjoying the feeling. The soft touch, the gentle brushing of her darling's finger, and it only gets better as Homura starts feeling strokes of kanji and hiragana atop her forehead. "You are so sweet. I'm so glad I belong to you."
- Madoka Kaname has posed:
"Are you saying you wouldn't want a plushy of me?" Madoka asks with false gravity, cracking a smile and giggling afterwards. "I was trying to keep you from waking up, but I guess you're not as used to sleeping with plushies as I am." Or maybe it was the lack of solid bones or the cozy warmth of another body suddenly missing that would have woken her up regardless of not sleeping regularly with stuffed animals in her arms.
A soft nod in agreement at the mention of friends likely feeling this kind of love. "Even so, I feel like what we have together is special. Maybe it just feels like it must be because it's so amazing?" Or maybe she subconsciously wants to feel special, she considers to herself. "It is beautiful," she agrees with a smile, letting other thoughts on the matter go, "that's what's important."
The grin draws a giggle from Madoka and she shakes her head a little at the cheekiness, but she's still clearly not upset. At the serious comment she shrugs herself, "Maybe so. It's the one we're in together now, though. Let's stay here together, okay? Forever and always."
"No, you were right. The other day. We are like two pieces of a puzzle that fit together perfectly." Madoka smiles back at Homura, though it's more thoughtful than flashy, "I feel like we're better together than we are alone. Like... like we're not really complete without each other, that something was missing before we found each other." She bites her bottom lip after a moment, giving Homura another meek look, "I feel a little rude saying that about you too, instead of just me."
Even feeling momentarily meek can't take the feeling of satisfied happiness away from her, though. She tilts her head a little as Homura mentions bliss. "I don't know a better word for what I feel," she starts, continuing after a moment of quiet reflection, "but I think we can safely say we've succeeded in creating a little paradise for ourselves. Being with you, being able to show you with words and kisses how much I love you, it really is a paradise."
When Homura questions what she did to get such happiness Madoka smiles fondly to her, "I do. You were yourself. That's all you ever had to be, and maybe you're right about this universe being a better one for letting you finally get what you deserve." When her being a good girlfriend is praised Madoka blushes warmly, taking the compliment in the best way possible. "You tell me I'm kind and sweet, and I want to be. I really do. I want you to feel loved and cared for, because you are. And," more modest blushing, "I want you to think that of me, too. Your happiness is the most important thing... but if you think I'm amazing that's a very nice thing, too."
She squeezes Homura tightly with the arm that's around her, "You thanked me earlier because accepted your feelings, but I should thank you for accepting mine." Her expression soften a great deal, and she looks at Homura with a very gentle affection, "You let me care for you, and show you my love. You don't push me away when I try to mother you or fuss over you. Maybe I haven't said it, but that means a lot to me. Thank you, Homura-chan."
'You are so sweet. I'm so glad I belong to you.'
"My Homura-chan," Madoka whispers in a singsong voice. Her finger on her girlfriends forehead writes another word. 'Madoka's', in the possessive form. Then she reaches behind herself and takes one of Homura's hands, gently getting her to extend her pointer finger before carefully writing 'Homura's' on her own forehead, giggling afterwards. "I'm your little angel, you're my guardian angel, and this is our Heaven on Earth," Madoka coos in the softest, most romantic voice she can muster.
- Homura Akemi has posed:
With a grin, Homura says, "Oh, I'd love a plushie of you. It wouldn't compare to the real thing, but since the real thing is so perfect it isn't fair to hold other things up to that standard. Still, I wouldn't mind it." Madoka's explanation makes sense, and Homura nods. "Yeah, fair enough. It's true that I don't have a lot of plushies in my room. I don't think I fully realized just how much I like to cuddle until we started doing that."
Even if it's something other people feel, it's still special. Homrua agrees with that. "I think it is very special, and the fact that so many people feel in similar ways doesn't change that. Think about it like this. You come across hundreds of people a day, probably even thousands or tens of thousands in a year, and who knows how many people you meet in your lifetime. The vast majority of them are strangers, a tiny percentage become friends, and some of them are family. Of all the people I've ever met in my life, you're the only one I love this much. That's why it's special."
She scratches the back of Madoka's neck. "Even if it seems common, that's only because once people find their other half they tend to stay with them. It's a one in a million chance that only needs to happen once in your lifetime. It's still pretty special, if you look at the probabilities."
"Plus..." Homura's mouth twists into something thoughtful. "I have to wonder if us being magical helps our chances of finding each other in some way. I mean, if magic is based on our feelings, then we're at our strongest when our emotions are at their peak." Homura giggles. "I'd certainly say you put me at my peak, Madoka-chan."
Madoka suggests that they stay. It's a sentiment they've agreed on before. "I know. I want to stay here, too. Most importantly, I want to stay with you, and I don't want you to forget the wonderful things we've shared, because I know I never will."
Homura shakes her head emphatically. "You aren't being rude. I need you. I am cold and mean without you. I don't want to be, and I do feel bad when I hurt people, but feeling bad doesn't tell me how to behave better, it only makes me feel worse. You're the one who shows me what's right."
She glances away. "Not that I think you're naive. I think you make really good choices when you've been given complete information. I just... want to make sure you have that information. As much as I can."
Madoka talks about Paradise, and Homura can't help but agree. "We really have, and it's even more wonderful than I ever imagined." Homura deserves this by being herself? Homura looks up at Madoka and starts feeling all giddy inside. She continues and Homura only gets happier, almost squealing at Madoka's modest expression. "You are loved and cared for. I'm only telling you the truth, dear~. It's important to me that you're happy. I won't be happy unless you are, too."
Homura shakes her head, her hair shaking behind her. "I don't mind when you mother me at all, and I certainly don't mind being cared for. I know you like to do that, and seeing it only makes me love you more. Never mind that I'm pretty happy to let you do whatever you want with me. I guess we both take care of each other in our own ways." She nuzzles up to Madoka. "You're welcome. You always have been."
Madoka puts her name on Homura, and then directs Homura to put her name on her. Homura giggles and happily goes along with it. "I always hoped I could put my name on you, if you didn't put yours on me first." There's something a little coy about the way she says that. "But this really is our heaven, and I love being your guardian angel. I love being yours in general."
