- Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama is in Mitakihara General. She's mostly okay, laying down on a bed. In a hospital gown. With grey hair. And eyes closed and hooked up to monitors. Not very pleasent. Doctors don't know what's wrong with her. From thier view: 'She's in a coma of sorts'.
There's a couple cards. Her mom and dad came by earlier. Her grandpa has things to do- related to this and sadly isn't here at the moment.
Normally there would probably be floaty koi running about worried sick. They're not here either now. For obvious reasons.
- Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
Hospitals were just not... something that Eilam ever wanted to deal with again. He was born way too long ago to want that. He'd suffered /way/ too much over the centuries from 'improving' medical practices, quackery, superstitions and things of the sort, and now that medical science had advanced to the point where doctors actually knew things and understood what was going on and in his condition? It was like sticking a piece of meat into a pack of hungry, albeit sleeping, dogs. If one woke up?
But, here he was, slowly walking into the hospital to find out where she was. Speaking with the clerk, eventually finding out where she was, he started to make his way there, seemingly intent on finding her and making sure she was... well, in his mind all doctors were evil. He /knew/ in his head they weren't, but it was still that reflexive uncertainty.
- Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama is resting comfortably. Her room is clean. She's connected to a monitoring device. She's alive and that's perhaps what's important about all this. A bird peeks in at the windowsill. A tiny green parrot. It actually lifts the window up a bit and slips in and closes it.
Then it hops over to Reiko's head and it frowns a bit as she peeks down at Reiko's face.
"Nnnnnnrg. Reiko-chan." she mutters.
"I wish there was something I could do."
"I'm such a terrible mascot... thing...!". The bird sounds a lot like the little green haired girl that was near Momo earlier.
It's prime visiting hours. No one seems to find Eilam's prescene odd as he walks towards and into the room.
- Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
When Eilam finally gets to the door, he hears a voice and stops, letting a moment pass before looking in to see. The phrase 'mascot' confused him and he saw another talking bird. There were the ones earlier, and now this one... and he couldn't help but mentally palm. Colors, a redbird, a bluebird, and a green parrot. Red, gree, blue, the primary colors. How very Disney. In fact, this entire thing seemed... Disneyish. After a moment, though, he did step inside only to close the door behind and say rather sarcastically, "Let me guess, your goddess Aura has prismatic hair and a prismatic gown, or is she more of a concept that takes physical form as desired?"
His voice sounded tired, but he didn't do anything to disturb the green Parrot's perch. Instead, Eilam took it upon himself to look around the room and look out towards those wandering by and doing their business before returning to scouring the room as if looking for recording devices or things that were gonna jump out of the wall at him.
- Reiko Touyama has posed:
Gigi looks up at Eilam. "Huh?" she asks. "I've never. Met Aura. Or been to Spectra. If that's what you're asking." she says quietly. "I was born on Earth!" she insists. She /is/ kind of young-- where-as Roy and Biv sounded adult. "This'll be my first time seeing 'home' soon, I'm so exicited!" she says looking at Eilam.
Yeah, Gigi knows him from the thing earlier. "I mean. Not excited. For this." she says quietly. "or why." she says. "But I bet Spectra is really pretty." she says.
She head tilts. "Whatcha looking for?" she asks as she flutters over to the stand beside the bed. "Are you here to visit Reiko-chan?" she asks softly.
"Um. My name's Gigi." she says softly. "I was. The green hair'ed girl earlier." she says.
- Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
"..."
Of course. He'd get the bird who had no answers, not the one who did. "Okay." Eilam said rather simply. "And yes, I came here to see her. I have not had the chance since... the incident, and I did not know what condition she was in. I would have tried to get her somewhere more... comfortable, or less dreary, but her grandfather seems to want her here as the other said, so I have little say in such. I know she probably wouldn't want anyone to see her like this, but she went and got hurt, by someone she trusted. So here I am."
Here he is, and with no real idea what to do, if anything. She was the reason he was even aware of magic as being a thing, had brought him into the whole magical world to a point. Not that he had any of his own, curse withstanding, but... this was all just not something he wanted to have happened.
- Reiko Touyama has posed:
Gigi frowns. "Hiroko used to be thier friend.... but at some point she became. Not so nice. A bully. Surrounding herself with people she can't even call friends." the bird says. "I know that much from Reiko n' stuff. I wish she wasn't Griselda, but she is..."
"It isn't so bad in here!" she says. The hospital room isn't all that bad. It does reek of institution and sanitary smells-- but it isn't unpleasent. or dirty. Quiet at least.
"..but I know that's not what you're trying to say I think." the bird then says sheepishly.
"She'll be okay!" she says.
- Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
"I do not... trust medical types. I have been around too long, and seen too many who are in a position of power abuse those who are weak or helpless to 'learn' more in the name of science. To 'advance' things. I am just glad she does not seem to present as abnormal enough for such a thing to be a problem. That was what I was worried about the most. I do not want her to ever experience anything like I have in the past."
Eilam reached into his left pocket and pulled out a long, thin wrapped box, a gift box from the looks of it. "I know Aura can supposedly restore things, but what about Nox? He seems to desire Hiroko... Griselda. She is his conduit, it seems, to this world. If something were to happen to her, would that not settle this problem for future scenarios?"
That sounded fairly cold. A 'Cut the limb off' approach rather than trying to heal it. Then again, that's kind of how he was, about some things.
- Reiko Touyama has posed:
Gigi shrugs. "I'm not sure, Eilam-kun." she says. "About Griselda. For all we know. She /is/ conciously acting as Griselda. Or Griselda could be something controlling her." she says.
"--and no. Griselda's just the boss. They'res the Monochrome Duo too. Mister Black and Miss White." she says with a matter of fact nod. Then she peers at the box.
"Ohhh what's in there?" she asks.
- Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
"Damn. That... ruins some ideas I had." then the question of the box. "This? Is a gift for her. Something I was going to give her at the art exhibit, but I did not have the chance to. I was trying to sort the thought of if I should open it for her now and leave it with her, or... leave it sealed here, or give it to her when she wakes or even if I should risk someone stealing it." He did /not/ trust anyone who worked at hospitals. No good will at all. "... I have not even looked at it since the incident. I wonder if... like other orange things, the orange in it has lost its' luster."
- Reiko Touyama has posed:
Giga speaks up! "Well. If I had to sleep and people did stuff I missed, I'd be sad." she says. "So wait until she wakes up! She /did/ still technically win that art contest, right?" the bird says. "I'm sure she'll be happy to get whatever you have to give her." she says.
She head tilts. "What was your idea?" she asks.
- Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
"Deal with Hiroko when she is not using her magic. Because if she is anything like Reiko... she is still quite normal when she is not transformed. She cannot just reflexively respond to danger with magic. But you said there were others, and not just her. I can hardly prevent more harm from coming to others by simply going after her, if there are other moving parts. But I can hardly... do anything else, because I have no magic of my own. I cannot just wrap the world in some prismatic barrier to ensure color flourishes forever or whatever."
The gift was set down on Reiko's stomach and Eilam moved to sink into a nearby chair with a soft mmph escaping him as he did. "I do not... tolerate betrayal well. I have had it happen to me in the past. It happened to her, and at such a young age. I may not be magical, but it is my responsibility to try and keep her and others safe preemptively if I can."
- Reiko Touyama has posed:
Gigi head tilts. "How is it your responsibility?" she asks curiously. "No one's expecting you to protect anyone, Eilam-kun. You should protect people because you want to, because you care for them." she says quietly.
She head tilts. "Sometimes bad things happen. You can't help them. They did thier best!" she nods matter of factly.
"Hiroko... we need to figure that out. But right now. Reiko is more important."
- Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
"And I want to protect her. She put herself in danger a while back in the park to protect me from a monster? Without knowing anything about me, she still tried to keep me safe. And she got hurt near me. Not that I could have done anything then to protect her, but now, here? And for the future? I am certainly going to do what I can. Because I want to. I am a greedy person in that regard. I really do not do much if I do not want to." Slowly he pushes himself up and makes his way towards the door to leave.
