Lunch!
Date of Scene: 09 September 2016
Location: Uminari City - Verone Academy
Synopsis: School lunch at Verone is invaded by Naru, or arranged by Naru to 'encourage' Alex to turn up at school for a change. It doesn't last, but at least a nice chat with Daisuke while it does.
Cast of Characters: Naru Osaka, Alexis Raskoph, Daisuke Hansuke

Naru Osaka has posed:
It's probably some flavour of cruelty to hold anyone to anything they agree to via text message before they are actually awake. Doubly so when the text messages are not in their first language.

At least there was a reminder sent at a more sane hour, that Naru was skipping out of lunch at her own school to turn up at Verone and have lunch there. At least the two schools aren't actually that far apart, all things considered.

Even still, not so long after lunch period has started, there's a school uniform that plays the 'one of these things is not like the others' game very well, and a Naru lingering near the entrance to the grounds, trying to spot either of Alexis or Daisuke, her school bag looped over her shoulder as it so often is.
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
%RIncidentally, there is someone else who is playing the 'one of these things does not belong' game, actually. Within the school, no less. Not just becausse this particular someone is wearing a brown leather jacket instead of the usual blazer that's part of the uniform (everything else is per school standard though), but because he is very obviously not-asian.

Spoilers: It's Alex. Shock and horror.

And he's walking for the way of the Naru, with that same usual slouched posture of hands stuck in his pockets. Because why wouldn't he?

And yes, the bandage on his nose is still there. Wonder if that ever actually comes off?
Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Naru probably gets some dirty looks due to the school's long standing rivlarly with Seishou in it's Lacross Team. People are passionate about thier sports, and school spirit sometimes, what can you say?

Daisuke Hansuke lives in the dorms at school, so- he is literarly always here. Usually. So he comes from that direction. He is dressed in the school uniform and he walks along towards where he got the text where he'd said he'd meet Naru.

He gives a big, bright wave as he approaches the table. "Hello, Naru-san." he smiles.

He looks up. Someone else is approaching. He leans down and whispers 'That the one?' to Naru. He then leans back and runs a hand through his purple hair. Which is also naturally that color.

Because reasons. Reincarnated Magical Reasons.
Naru Osaka has posed:
Naru brightens as she spots Alexis and waves to him, gesturing him over. "Hey!"

A Daisuke too and Naru waves to him as well, her smile just as bright and she nods to Daisuke's question. "Yep, that's Alex."

The petite redhead looks between the two of them and gestures. "Alexis, this is Daisuke. Daisuke, this is Alexis." Naru nods firmly. "Introductions complete, pull up some bench, I'm /starving/."

A common refrain out of Naru for the last month or so, but at least its lunchtime.

As she digs her lunch out of her bag, along with her sketchbook, because of course she has that too. "So, how was your guys' mornings?" Naru looks between each of them.
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
%RAlex looks... well. He looks pretty damn tired, actually. His eyes are all baggy and such for it. He barely even manages to murmur out a "Hey..." to the way of Daisuke when he's introduced to him. He doesn't even draw his hands out of his jacket's pockts when he slumps himself down into a seat next to Naru.

"Tired," is his answer to Naru's question, then. Which probably does not come as any kind of surprise.
Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke gently places a bag he was carrying down. It probably contains lunch. He doesn't immediatly go about placing anything out.

"Hello, Alexis-san." he says softly. A pause. "Well you /look/ tired. May I ask why?" he asks. "Aswell. What this..." he taps his nose. "Is about." he asks as friendly as possible.

Then he begins to remove a brown paper wrapped sandwhich of some sort from the bag. And a thermos, and a can of juice.

He looks up at Alexis. "Did you bring anything?" he asks, tilting his head forward a bit.

He looks to Naru. "How have you been, Naru-san. I've take that. The normal is still happening?" he asks a little grimly.
Naru Osaka has posed:
"You don't get to blame me this time." Naru points out to Alex as she gives him a little nudge at the mention of being tired. "I probably should have warned you that Daisuke wants to be a vet, and basically all of us are really ungainly kittens or something to his brain. You will be pre-vetted at."

Naru quirks her head to Daisuke. "It's been.. damn, I haven't actually seen you in forever, have I? It's been good, but I'm well." She nods to him at the query. "Creepers still be creepers, yeah. It got /crazy/ shortly after I got back from Europe, but it's going back to something more erratic rather than me dodging them daily like it was for a little while."

Naru has a bento of nibbling options for her lunch, pulling out chopsticks to use them to gesture with as she talks.
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"...I was doing stuff," Alex murmurs in, uh, explanation to Daisuke. Not that the answer really actually EXPLAINS anything, but there you go. "With... stuff. And things. Stuff." That helps so much, Alex. Real good talk there.

Meanwhile, his eyes sloooowly turn down to Naru's bento. Hungrily. ... Did he not bring anything of his own?
Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke blinks once. "Stuff." he says. "Yes. But what kind of stuff. And things." he says as he looks over to Naru. Who. For some reason, thinks she has more to say on the subject. He then looks back to Alexis and he pushes the sandwhich toward's Alexis.

"It is a cucumber and tomato sandwhich. On wheat bread. With a little mayonaise, and some salt and pepper." he says. "I try to eat light." says the guy who will drink himself to death on milkshakes.

He looks back to Naru. "At least it's starting to stagger out." he frowns, vaugely a little. Yeah he doesn't like his friends being hit by stupid things.
Naru Osaka has posed:
"You're as bad as eating lunch with Usagi." Naru comments as she nudges her lunch over to share with Alex. There really /is/ enough for two, because someone eats lunch with Usagi most days.

"Apparently we're doing communal lunch today. Everyone end up fed, at least enough to stay awake during afternoon class." Naru comments and picks up a rice ball with her chopsticks. "My personal vote is either riding crazy late, or stupid things, and possibly stuff, which seemed like a far better idea at the time than this morning when I texted him before school, cause I'm nice like that."

"I'm starting to get better about calling in backup too." Naru admits to Daisuke. "So more stalkers, but fewer faceplanting half dead on Mamo's couch. Which I'm going to call a win overall."
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"...You know, *stuff*," Alex continues to insist stubbornly with... well, Dai's further insistence. And then promptly nudges Naru's side with his elbow when she provides her input. And sticks his tongue out at her. Pbbbbhtht.

He does, however, sheepishly reach towards the offered sandwich, and mutters out, "...Thank you..."
Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke smiles. "No problem." he says as he undoes the thermos, which, steam escapes from. It seems like something chickeny and spicy. It is obviously soup. He begins to sip it carefully as he looks back down. "Good." he says to Naru as he looks back to Alexis.

"Riding Crazy Late? Do you own a vehicle?" he asks at Alexis curtly. "I own an old convertible. Used to be my dad's." he says.

"Have you considered any clubs, yet?" he asks.

"I'm in the Animal Care Club. But I also do a lot of charity work outside of school." he says.

"Just kind of always been my nature, I guess." he says with a soft shrug.
Naru Osaka has posed:
"I didn't know that." Naru comments to Daisuke and then grins. "That's really cool, actually." She returns to nibbling her own lunch, even if she was starving but moments ago.

Naru casually makes a grab for Alexis' tongue as he sticks it out at her, as if this is something that happens regularly. Which, to be fair, it sort of does.

"I think I'm going to go back to Space Botany Club." Naru comments as she picks up another chunk of her lunch. "It was weird enough to go back."
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"I have a motorcycle," Alex tells Daisuke, though he now flicks his hand in a nonchalant wave, after having brought it out from his pocket for the purpose of reaching for the sandwich.

And then-- Well. Alex is pretty damn tired, so this time, Naru ALMOST manages to snatch his tongue between her fingers before it slips back into his mouth. The realiztino of this causes his eyes to widen out briefly.

"Um. I signed up for the kickboxing club," he goes on to note, then, on his own part. "Only thing that I've done before."
Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke ahs! "Motorcycle." he says. "I dunno if I could feel safe on one." he says as he brushes a hand through his head akwardly. "All that wind and... nothing around you..." and he's getting motion sick just thinking about it as he shakes it off, taking another gulp of soup.

"Well, the best part about Verone is that we're a hop, skip and a jump away from the Game Center Crown." he smirks. "So Milkshakes are always in reach." he insists.

Then he purses his lips. "Kickboxing Club." he says. "Ohhh you have some good competition there from the other schools." he says.

"Hrmmm."

"I haven't touched base with Seishou's Animal Care Club in a while." he says.

He blinks though as Naru tries to catch Alex's tounge. That's weird.
Naru Osaka has posed:
"The motorcycle is /amazing/." Naru is clearly entirely a fan, based on the brilliant grin. "The wind and nothing? That's a feature! It feels so free. I.. really can't say that it feels dangerous, no more dangerous than most of the rest of our lives, really."

Naru laughs softly. "I tried the milkshake plan. Apparently I only get through two before I have had enough."

"Does Seishou have kickboxing? I've never looked into it." She ooohs to Daisuke. "I tried sparring with Kyouko. She kicked my butt into next week, it was pretty cool."
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"Like she says," Alex murmurs, with his thumb jerking over towards NAru. "That's part of the fun. One way to feel like you're not shackled by this world being the way it is."

And Naru-- well. Naru gets a squint from him. "...I still don't understand what the hell is going on with your life that you can act ually easily say that kind of thing," he murmurs, with a tone speaking of both concern and suspicion alike.

"Infinity has one, at least. HAruna and Hannah are from there, right?"
Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke nods. "Infinity has one, yeah. And yeah, those two are in thier Kickboxing Club." he says curtly. He looks to Naru. "I'm sure Seishou has one, or one could be created easily enough if there isn't." he says with a smile.

He looks back between the two and says. "Yeah. Just. I dunno." he says sort of scratching the side of his head. "Accidents.. n' all..." he mutters.

He looks to Alexis. "Ah. Certain... things happen. And you get used to them. After a bit." he says. It's really the only explanation.
Naru Osaka has posed:
"Yeah, Hannah and Haruna are in the Infinity one." Naru nods in agreement and then mmms softly. "I am not starting a kickboxing club." She points out and then laughs, shaking her head. "Nope! Space Botany and Art and Debate is probably two more than I should try and do."

"Well." Naru gives Alexis a rueful smile. "It sucks that I am basically a magnet for creepers, but honeslty? If I wasn't casual and joking about it, I'd be even /more/ of a wreck than the park makes me. So.. I joke about it."
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"Things, huh," Alex repeats with a sideward squint sent to Daisuke. "And stuff, right? Stuff and things." And it has gone full circle.

And still, as tired as he is, he ends up directing a concerned frown down to Naru's way. "You know," he mutters. "This city is kind of really messed up if you even need to do that to begin with."
Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke may not trust riding on anything with two wheels or less. Maybe it's a phobia. Maybe it's just unsafe to him. Maybe he just skinned his legs really bad riding a bike when he was younger. Who the heck knows. "Yeah, sure. Things. And stuff." he says.

He then frowns at Alexis. "Sometimes. Bad things happen. But that doesn't mean it's all bad." he says quietly, and then he also keeps the frown.
Naru Osaka has posed:
"This city is kinda messed up." Naru agrees easily and tips her head up to look at Alexis and grins when he sends that concerned frown down at her. "Tears are not my superpower." She informs him. Because that makes so much sense.

"What did you get up to over summer break, Daisuke?" Naru asks as she looks over to him. "No. It's not all bad. I love Tokyo, a lot, I love the people too."
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"WAsn't Usagi just trying to say something about not keeping feelings locked up inside before?" Alex points out to Naru, with that frown still persisting a moment longer. He sighs out quietly, and reaches over to pat his hand lightly against her shoulder. "At least you seem to have a lot of people looking after you here. So.
Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke frowns a little more. "Keeping feelings locked up just leads to hurt and confusion and not being able to express things." he says quietly. "Trust me. I know. I was there many months back." he says curtly.

He says. "Yes, Naru has lots of friends looking out for her." he says softly. "It's why I'm not particularly worried." he then says trying to regain a smile.

His eyes trace over to Naru. "Actually. I just stayed here and used the time to catch up on some work for some organizations in town." he says softly. "The recent..."

"Stuff..."

Plant Asteroid Stuff.

"Put me behind."
Naru Osaka has posed:
"I have an embarassment of riches in terms of friends watching out for me." Naru laughs softly and shakes her head. "I'm not as bad about bottled up feelings as some people I know." She leans into the touch on her shoulder just a bit, welcoming the gesture for what it is.

"That sounds practical, Daisuke. Not a lot of fun, but practical at least." Naru mmms softly. "Yeah. Last term got a bit stupid at bits."

"Mamoru got really sick, we were all pretty worried." Naru explains briefly to Alex. "He's fine now, thank goodness."
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"How is that an embarrassment?" Alex asks in bemusement, and nudges Naru's side lightly with his elbow again. A bit teasing, that gesture.

"Or...ganization...?" The particular word comes a bit slower from Alex. Fluent as he is in japanese for the most part, sometimes the bigger words come a little harder. "Which one?" His head tips to the side curiously towards Daisuke.

Though his head straightens up again, when a yawn works it's way up his throat. The lack of sleep is hitting some, here.
Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke head tilts at Alexis. "A few many chairty organizations I work with." he says plainly. "Someone has to collect those boxes you see in convience stores and convience stores to even have one." he smirks. "Things like that. Lots and busy work." he says.

He turns to Naru. "Eh, everyone's version of fun is very different. That just happens to be one my interpurtations of enjoying myself." he says.

He looks to Alexis. "Alexis, how much sleep are you getting? It's generally important to get enough sleep, else you're operating off fumes." he mutters.
Naru Osaka has posed:
"It's only an expression." Naru comments to Alexis with a laugh. "I have a lot of friends looking out for me. I try and look out for them too, it's not always much of a fair trade." She nudges him back a little and goes back to nibbling at her lunch.

"Not enough is my vote." Naru answers Daisuke, no matter that he didn't ask her. "Then again, I'm usually faceplanted early, so I'm not exactly a shining example of having a life here."
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"Ehhhhhhhhhhh," is the only response Alex provides in response to the matter of sleep and the getting of it. Which is probably kind of indicative of how much he sleeps, and all. Though he does insist to Daisuke, "I'm fiiiiine."

Right before his weight balance wobbles a bit, and he ends up leaning sidelong against Naru, lightly. Tired Alex is tired.
Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke sighs and shakes his head. "You guys need to both get some sleep I think. But you know. After school." he says as he screws the lid on his empty thermos and puts it back into his bag. He opens the can of juice and begins sipping.

He looks back down as he sits back a bit. He then purses his lips a bit.

"So you're still doing Space Botany Club?" he asks at Naru.

"You uh. Be careful there. Alright?" he asks.
Naru Osaka has posed:
"Right. Fine. Of /course/." Naru leans into Alexis as he leans into her, making an effective prop for the taller boy. "Did you ride to school?" She asks thoughtfully.

"I actually slept well last night." Naru points out as she starts to close up her bento, having had enough lunch for the moment. "Unusually so, to be honest. But I did go for a run this morning."

"Yeah. I'll be careful. They're all pretty.. erm.. quirky in there. I have to admit that." Naru comments as she tries not to jar Alex as she moves a little."
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
%R"I'm fiiiiine," Alex repeats for Daisuke. It might not seem at all believable, since he's pretty well slumped aginst Naru - probably withut even realizing it - and he lets out another loud yawn.

"Mh... What's..." He looks back and forth between the two, eyes a bit faded. "What's the Space Botany Club?"
Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke sighs and shakes his head. Yeah he doesn't believe it.

"Anyways Alexis. I live in the dorms here, so you should be able to find me in the directory if you need me. I can do.. first aid. Of a sort. So." she shrugs a bit.

He says. "Pretty much anyone can create a club for any reason." he smiles at Alexis.

He looks between the two as he begins to get up. "I need to be getting back to class." he says. "You two have a good evening, alright?" he asks as he begins to leave.
Naru Osaka has posed:
"Space Botany Club is a lot of barely social people who are convinced that there are plants from space and they're going to prove it." Naru explains as Daisuke leaves the table and she and Alexis are left chatting over the remains of lunch.

Naru tucks her legs up as she leans against Alexis. "I can see why you weren't going to come to school today." She comments quietly.
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"I dunno, I might have skipped even if I had gotten sleep," Alex admits with a quiet, wry chuckle rumbling up along his throat. "But... nh. Yeah." He shifts idly along the bench, unintentionally wrigging against Naru briefly. Without even realizing. "Busy night."
Naru Osaka has posed:
Naru moves a little with him, resettling as he does. "Lots of fights?" She asks quietly, without any sort of judgement going on. "I think I'm glad that I just had super weird dreams. Some night, you're going to actually have to sleep, you know."
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"I do sleep," Alex protests, voice a bit grumbly -- only partly so because of his fatigue and such. "I just... get caught up in things, sometimes, you know...?" Another heavy yawn, and his eyelids droop a little, subconsciously.
Naru Osaka has posed:
"Adrenline is glorious." Naru comments quietly and shifts just a little such that she can reach her sketchbook, even if he ends up dozing off on her.

Which is going to do really interesting things to the rumours at Verone about the two of them, that's for certain.

"When's your next class?" Naru asks quietly.
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"After lunch, I guess..." IT could be that Alex didn't even come to school until just now, when lunch started. Huh. "I dunno if I'll stay. I might. I dunno. I think it's math... I hate math."
Naru Osaka has posed:
"Based on conversations to this point, you hate all your classes. Why should math get singled out?" Naru teases gently as she rests her head on his shoulder, mostly for it being there and convenient as they lean on each other and chat. "Not that I'm much of a math fan. Ami's good at it."
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"I dunno, math is just... especially bad, for me," Alex grumbles, and... in is doziness, his head tips downwards for just a brief moment. A brief moment where it might end up seeming he's intentionally nuzzling at Naru, since his nose brushes into her hair with that tired-dip before his head straightens up again. "...Nh. Just really... weird and complex..."
Naru Osaka has posed:
"I'd rather go to math class than geography." Naru comments as she keeps still just enough that he's not likely to fall. At least not fall over, fall asleep is a distinct possibility.

"It isn't that complicated, at least not once Ami's explained it a few times." Naru gives him a gentle nudge, affectionate. "Have a nap, you'll feel more human."
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
%R"I probably should, shouldn't I..." Alex mumbles, and his eyes end up dropping shut there, with his head dippin down closer towards her all over again, and he murmurs on there, "Will you take me to bed?"

...Wait. What? He probably is too tired to realize what that sounds like, but STILL.
Naru Osaka has posed:
Naru can't help but laugh softly at the request even if her cheeks start to colour and she slides an arm around him to give him a squeeze. That is /quite/ the question, indeed.

"C'mon. It's bedtime." Naru agrees softly. "I am not driving your bike." She points out.
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"Okaaaay," Alex yawns out -- and he seems to take the squeeze and the words both as signal that he should start getting up, since he's starting to move from the bench. "Bus..? I'll... pay for the fare..."

He really has no idea what's going on, judging from the way he slurs and wobbles.
Naru Osaka has posed:
Naru tucks her things into her bag as Alexis gets to his feet and then she reaches for his arm, to ensure he's not actually about to fall over.

Clearly this is how her week is going to go, pouring semi-coherent friends into thier homes. At least this one has less aversion to going home.

"I do need to know where you live." Naru points out vaguely amused as she steers him towards the bus home.
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
Alex doesn't seem to have any qualms about being guided along by the arm. At least he's not *drunk*, so he has *some* sense left in him. "Uh... I don't actually know which bus goes there so yeah..." He realizes audibly, before he leans down a bit closer to Naru during that walk, to quietly murmur his address to him. IT's probably in some really upper class area. Because rich parents.
Naru Osaka has posed:
"Some of us take the bus regularly." Naru points out as she leans up for that whisper and then nudges him towards the right bus. "You dont get to fall asleep on the bus, by the way. I can't carry you."

It's not all that far, they probably could have walked if half the travel pair wasn't mostly asleep.
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
Verone Academy is in a pretty upper-class area, come to think of it, isn't it?

As it turns out, the house Alex lives in... does not at all fit the image that he in general has, if one doesn't know about his parents. Because it's large enough to nearly count as a mansion, if it wasn't for the fact that it's hard to get mansion-size houses into the suburbs of Tokyo. There's no car on the driveway, but there is a pretty large-looking garage there, so for all anyone knows the family might own several vehicles. Because rich people like to flaunt their damn money.

"Well, um," murmurs the tired Alex then, when he realizes they're just outside the yard on the street. "...We're here."
Naru Osaka has posed:
"Am I actually putting you to bed, or am I just making sure you get here alright?" Naru asks as they come to his house and they pause outside the extensive structure.

"Because if your parents are home, they will have questions about me putting you to bed." Naru points out pragmatically.

She leaves off that depending on how nosy his parents are, they might have questions about the pair standing in the yard arm in arm /too/. Those are easier questions.
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"I don't think they're home," Alex murmurs, with a roll of the shoulder that isn't propped against Naru. "They rarely are." He shifts himself along enough that he isn't leaning against the redhead anymore, then, but he does reach his hand down to squeeze hers, briefly. "Sorry for the trouble. You don't have to walk me inside."
Naru Osaka has posed:
"Is it okay if I want to walk you inside?" Naru asks as she gives his hand a squeeze and then grins brightly. "And it's no trouble, walking you home means that I dont have to worry about you riding home mostly asleep."
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"If you wanna," Alex offers noncommitantly. With that much said, he takes a step for the gate-- and peeks back to Naru to see if she is actually following or not.
Naru Osaka has posed:
There's just a moment of hesitation at the noncommital answer from Alexis before Naru follows him towards the gate. She's actually following him into the house. "You know you have a giant house, right?"
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"Yeah," Alex sighs out, while he's unlocking the gate - yes, there's a lock on it too - and duly pushes it open afterwards, stopping there to let Naru step through to the yard first. "My parents are snobs. I kind of hate it, actually."
Naru Osaka has posed:
"Why do you hate it?" Naru asks as she steps through the unlocked gate and then offers him her hand again. He might not be leaning on her anymore, but he's no less tired. "Other than it looks like it might echo, and I'm grateful not to be the one who has to keep it tidy."
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"Pffft, as if my parents would clean stuff up themselves." ANd yes, even in his tired state, Alex manages to roll his eyes around. And of all things, he does take her hand now, when it's offered, and thus guides her to the front door. "And... I dunno. IT's just... so big. Overwhelming. IT feels being coddled. Or being isolated."
Naru Osaka has posed:
"Isolated I can see." Naru has to admit as she follows him across the yard and up to the front door. "I suppose I can see coddled too, although there's just so much empty." She gestures her free hand to the yard. "Weird." She declares.
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"Yeah, well." Alex sighs heavily again - or maybe that's just a sigh - and he moves on to unlock the front door now and permit both of them inside. The... house seems just as large from the inside, with a big foyer leading off to equally big dining room and lounge and... some other rooms that are hidden behind closed doors. There are two maids working in the dining room right then, but they don't seem to pay any mind beyond a quick two glances sent to the door. After removing his shoes, he turns for the staircase leading upstairs near the doors, but he stops right there to look back to Naru again, blinking blearil. "...Uhm. So this is where I live for now."
Naru Osaka has posed:
Shoes off, and Naru quirks her head at him. "For now?" She asks and then gestures. "Unless you're super shy about your room, and if you are that's cool, I am.." She leaves that hanging, clearly expecting that she's putting him to bed as requested, rather than getting a tour.
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"I mean, I basically move from one country to another with the folks, so... you know... for now." He shrugs at that, and sticks one hand into his pocket... and the other over to take NAru's hand before he makes for the stairs. Upstairs, there's plenty rooms too, and it turns out his is at the very end of the hall, with it's own lock that he promptly works open too. The lock is probably to keep house staff away, since it's, uh... not very-well cleaned. It's not that there's dust or anything, but there's just stuff lying *around*. So basically a teenaged boy's room, even if it's much larger and full of more stuff than most teenagers have. Posters of various movies on the walls, a computer desk in one corner, a futon in another and various books, dvds and entertainment equipment (including a television and some game consoles) on shelves and cabinets.

If Naru bothers to look around with a more attentive eye, she might note there's actually plenty anime dvds in his shelves, along with western things. And comic books. A lot of them have superheroes of some sorts in them, be they western or japanese.

WIthout stopping, Alex half-sheds his jacket on the way towards the futon - in that he shrugs one arm out of it's sleeve and lets half of the jacket hang off him while his hand is still holding onto Naru's - and eventually just collapses onto the futon with an *oof*. At least he lets go of Naru's hand before THAT.
Naru Osaka has posed:
"You're stuck with Japan for a little while." Naru declares at the notion of moving frequently as she follows him upstairs.

It's a teenage male's room, and while Naru is not a teenage boy, she is not unfamiliar with the clutter bomb that tends to be their rooms. Probably because teen girls' rooms are similarly clutter bombed, just usually with slightly different things.

Naru lets go of his hand as he starts to shrug out of his jacket, and she takes it as he flops onto the futon. It might be the first time that jacket has been draped over the back of a chair rther than just being dropped on the floor, but Naru is the one doing the draping of it.

Naru wanders back over to the futon and nudges his legs to actually end up on the futon entirely, rather than flopped most of the way on it.
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
"I'm okaaaaaaaaaaaaay," Alex mumbles, voice muffled by... well, his face pressed into the futon, basically. Even if he doesn't actually seem to put any effort into moving his legs himself, when they're getting nudged over. "Mblrbrl."
Naru Osaka has posed:
"Of course you are." Naru comments absently as she watches him sprawl. "And you're going to sleep." She adds helpfully as she reaches for the blanket to cover him up with once he's on the futon enough. Or something approximating it.

There's a moment of quiet, as Naru lingers there, before reaching down to brush over his shoulder, a light touch.
Alexis Raskoph has posed:
When the warmth of the blanket comes along to envelop him, Alex actually curls himself up within it, one hand bunching up into the cloth to try and drag it closer against himself. The touch, he doesn't react as obviously to-- but there is a quiet little sound hidden away in his throat, that could mean anything. It doesn't sound like a protest, though, but who knows if he's even awake anymore, at this point.
Naru Osaka has posed:
There is debate going on for Naru, and as she watches him curl up and basically prove her completely right on the adorable front, the debate appears to have settled.

Probably not the wisest course of action, certainly not the smart one, but Naru settles on the edge of Alex's bed, and leans up against the headboard to just stay. Naru has her sketchbook, she's quite content in the quiet actually, and as long as none of her drawings accidentally come to live and try to kill either of them, it should be fine.

At least until the quiet is too tempting, and she just takes a moment to 'rest her eyes', her sketchbook still open in her lap as she dozes off too.
