Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
**** Sometimes Last Week ****

"What. No. That's a silly use of the Cross Mirror Room." says Blue. Haruna crosses her arms as she leans forward into the blue haired guardian god's personal space. "I disagree! It's a perfect use! And-- besides, /you owe me!/" she huffs.

"What?" asks Blue confusedly.

"I mean. I can totally forget that you didn't tell me about my sister an----"--- yes. Haruna was playing dirty.

/THE GUILT TRIP PRECARD!?/

Blue sighhhhhhed defeatedly. "Fine. But just this once. There. And Back." he says.

*** NOW! ****

"Hannah~" she sings as she wheels the large mirror into Hannah's living room. "Look. I know this looks reallllly weird. But trust me. You're going to love me forever." she then looks down at the blindfold she brought. Then she looks up. Then back down at the blindfold. A shock of realization hits her as she haphazardly stuffs it into her backpocket with an innocent whistle.

Yeah, sometimes she forgets Hannah is blind.

ANYWAYS.

"Okay. So. Here's what we're going to do." she says. "We're gonna count to three." she says. "Then we're going to jump into the mirror." she says. "Look, I know this sounds ridicolous, but trust me." she says. "I spent /all day/ on American websites- to make sure I'd hit the right surprise target for this..." she says. "I hope."

She clears her throat and gently takes Hannah's hand and walks in front of the mirror and squints really hard at it. "Okay... one... two.... THREE!"

She jumps into the mirror and drags Hannah-chan with her!----

Well through the mirror. Technically.

They arrive through the bathroom mirror-- tumbling perhaps into a haphazard heap on the otherside. THe bathroom floor is neat and clean and there's also Stalls. But also Urinals. Oops. Haruna hit the Men's Bathroom by accident of wherever she was headed! Oops. >,>.

A man opens the door to the bathroom. He blinks once. He goes to open his mouth. He closes it. He excuses himself and walks back out the door into the lobby of---

What is this place anyways?

There's smells of authentic BBQ out the bathroom door. and country music.

"Okay! Surprise time~" she says.

"So I bugged your dad about stuff." she says.

"And he said... there was this resturant you guys used to go to. When you were still in America and stuff!" she says.

"And I /totally/ guilt tripped Blue into letting me borrow the Cross Mirror Room for a trip." she says.

"Anyways. What I'm saying is."

"We're in Hank's Down-Home BBQ and Ribs!" she says excitedly.

"...we should probably get out of this bathroom...."

"Before someone let's the staff know."

She suddenly scrambles to her feet and tugs Hannah out the door of the bathroom.

She tires to ignore all the looks of Americans of two girls barging out of the men's room who weren't seen entering to begin with.

Whistle, nothing to see here. * o/~ *
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
~Hannah's Living Room~

Arms slowly cross. Hannah's head tilts in pure confusion as Boris clues her in. A mirror. A giant mirror. One brow slowly slides skywards.

"You know, anyone else, and I'd say you're crazy. I mean, I know you're crazy in the best kind of ways, but this is beyond even that. This better not lead us to Narnia!

A hand is held, and with a sigh, Hannah smiles. "Buuut for you, Haruna, well...GERONIMO!"

~One Sliders-Like Transition Later~

As sneakers her the wooden floor of Hank's bathroom. Instantly, the smell of bar-b-que hits her nose. And that of lingering sawdust, and old cigarette-smoke soaked ceiling. Laughter filters out from the main room, and it leaves Hannah grinning.

"Y...you! You sneaky little! I haven't been here s...since I moved...since I was a little girl..." Are those tears in her eyes? Yes. Yes they are. Suddenly, Haruna is going to have to contend with an overjoyed Hannah. She all but punts the door open, trying to pull Haruna up and into a princess carry! Somewhere along the line, someone's hat has been pilfered, a cowboy hat now neatly on Haruna's head!

"Hah! It smells just like it did before I left! Haruna Kurosawa, you are my beautiful, smart, /sneaky/ little angel! Now come on, let's grab some peanuts and figure out what we want! Oh man, I wonder if Old Man Hank's still around! And the Smith brothers!" Hannah's voice is giddy with excitement, and she's already laying claim to a private booth.
Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Welcome to Georgia, where BBQ Sauce is made right and not super ketchupy like in Japan.

She is princess carried out and suddenly has a hat. The man probably looks a little annoyed at first, but eeeeeh kids will be kids, he's sure that hat isn't going to disappear to another country or anything like that.

(It's totally like that, but don't tell him.)

She seats herself and makes wide eyes. "I even got some um. Money. The green. Money. With the old men on it." she says. She means 'American Dollars'. "At the bank before leaving!" she says.

"Cuz..."

"I wanted this date to be super special for you..." she says.

"Cuz..."

"Do you know what November is?~" she says.

She wiggles a bit in place. "It's been a year~" she sings out. "So I wanted it to special. A memorable. And also. I hear they might roast entire pigs here in the back!" she insists.

Yeah she's still on about 'roasting entire pigs' nearly a year later- she sort of pulls the brim down on the hat a bit.

"Can you order for us?..." she says. "There's waitresses right?" she asks. "Do we go up to the counter?..." she says.

"My English isn't so good." she admits sheepishly. Yup. HANNAH shines here best right now in the speech department.

Also, Old Man Hank is probably in back on the BBQ or Smoker or something. Probably. She can probably ask the waitress about that.
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah takes a deep breath after stealing some menus. One gets pushed to Haruna regardless, though she hardly even touches hers. It seems it's engraved in her memory!

A napkin is stolen to dry her eyes, and then Hannah's attention is entirely on Haruna. She even kicks her legs underneath excitedly as she tries to put herself together.

"And you've done one good job of it! This is...I missed home. Don't get me wrong, Japan is special too, but..." Hands wave. She's at a loss for words. The waitress that comes up in jeans and a Hank's polo gets a mouth-splitting grin.

"One whole hog for two! Hank's special bar-b-que, double sauce! Oh, and some cole slaw! Iced tea to drink!"

"I've heard worse. You should hear /Usagi/." Poor bun, she's getting poked at! A giggle, and she reaches over to grab one of Haruna's hands and squeeze.

"After we eat, I'm taking you to the lake where dad and I fished when I was really young."
Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna beams! "We have some time. I mean. We gotta go back /soon/. But /soon/ isn't 'in the next two hours' even." she says. "I mean. We can even stay a night if there's a hotel somewhere..." she taps her chin. "Just need to mind. Things. I mean! I have a passport. On me. Just in case." she smiles.

She orders... -- well Hannah orders for them. She'll accept that. Also. Sweet Tea!? Tea can be sweet!? O.O.

It isn't gonna be like what she thinks it'll be like.

She smiles. "I do want you to show me around- and the lake!" she says. "Getting home is easy as we left. We just need to find a mirror big enough for us to--- get through." she says.

"I'm sure that isn't a problem in a populated area." she insists.

She kind of looks around.

Rstaurants are laid out so differently here..." she says.

"Do people usually sit that close together table to table here?" she asks curiously.

She bites her lip. "I'm glad you're happy with this Hannah." she says with a smile. "I didn't wanna upset you... but. I wanted to do it special too. And-- well. Kami-sama owed me one anyways!" she huffs.

"Just. You know. Can't make this a regular thing."

"As much as I'd like to 'take you home' every weekend...." she grins wide.
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Two quick nods! "So we can't lollygag, but we have time to enjoy ourselves. Alright. Good! Because we're going to have fun!"

The smell of sizzling pork and savory sauces in the back wafts over to the pair. Glasses clink, and soon enough, they have their drinks to start with!

"I'm sure we'll be fine. Heh, yeah, restaurants tend to be a little bit more open than you're used to maybe, but the seats are pretty close. I like it, means you can hear and smell your friends and family better. Usually a lot more booths, but Hank always loved going the 'wood chairs and real tables' route." She motions over to the rows of hand-carved tables and chairs. It's definitely about as rustic as one gets.

She cracks some peanuts, chucking the shells on the floor. Nomf nomf!

She sips her tea: extra sweet, and definitely nothing like poor Haruna's had! A flash of a smile. "Haruna, this is the second best gift I have. The first, of course, being someone full of feathers and spunk and loveable snuggable cuteness!" Pause.

"You never heard me say that." She has a repuatation to uphold!

Leeeean over, smooch! "Plus, sitting close lets me do that whenever I want!" A chuckle, and a wink. "Every day if I had my say in it! No no no, we're staying the night here. I mean, not here, but you know! Heh. Did you know this is where Mom and Dad met? She was a waitress, and Dad came in after a fishing trip trying to sell his fish. Mom kept throwing him out, and every week, he'd come back. Eventually Hank bought all of the fish, grilled them up, and made the two sit down and have dinner. Two days later they started dating."
Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa head tilts a little as she smiles. "Oh!" she says. "Your dad didn't tell me that when he mentioned it." she says. "Hehe~ That makes this place extra special then." she says as she sips the tea and her lips practically pucker. "It's like... someone dumped a bag of sugar in there." she says. She takes another sip....

"Maybe /two/ bags." she says.

She peeks up at Hannah and then down at the peanut. She steals one and then makes a complete mess trying to open it.

"Wait.. ! you threw that on the floor!" she says. She sort of goes to peek to grab it off the floor- because that is polite.

Except. The entire floor is covered with them. Even other tables. And other people at other tables are doing that...

And this bewilders Haruna as she leans back up. "....America is really weird! You just throw stuff on the ground!?" she says, shocked and appalled!

"...is it just peanut shells?..."

"I don't throw like. My drink on the floor."

"Right?" she asks.

She blushes at the all the institutions of best and second best gifts, huff!

"...we gotta bring something back for Boris. And Corvus, too. But mainly Boris." a pause. "Did you have Boris-kun when you were here last, Hannah-chan?" she asks curiously as she peeks down the aisle. Fooood come. She's hungry!
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah belts out a laugh as Haruna gets hit by sugar overload! "That there's real tea, Haruna! None of that weak, sugarless stuff like back in Japan!" She proclaims proudly, nodding several times.

"Yup, just chuck the shells on the floor! Uhhh, no, no spilling any tea. Just the shells! And don't go doing that in other restaurants, it's a sometimes thing! Here. Crack them along the middle and don't just squeeze." She cracks another peanut, and tosses it at Gull's mouth!

Reeeeach, nosepoke! Poooooke! Haruna will get teased mercilessly today if she huffs that cutely! "Definitely some for Boris. I'll order a brisket for him when we get ready to leave." A subspace pocket aught to keep it fresh!

A small sigh. "Not really. We got him a day before we moved to Europe. I was...eight, maybe? We traveled with him though, until I ended up in Japan. It was tough, going through so many places and so many hospitals, but that big fuzzball kept me together."
Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa head tilts and gently reaches out to touch Hannah's hand. "That musta stunk." she says softly.

"When Aki... 'went missing'..." she's been using this term instead of 'When Aki Died'. "I was shunted around a couple foster homes." she says. "Until I could do the whole. Emancipation thing." she says. "I mean."

"It's not like the people they had me live with were bad or anything!" she says. "But it didn't feel like home- and I felt lame because the people would do their best to try to make me happy but I was kinda. A mess." she says softly.

She sighs a bit and shakes her head. "Well! Japan isn't.. um. full of sugary tea and stuff." she says meekly. "But it's gotta be better than whirling around the world." she says sheepishly.

"Besides. If you didn't come to Japan..."

"You wouldn't have Raging Tempest. Or we wouldn't had met, or been through a buncha stuff!" she says.

"That's how I look at all the Scorn stuff..."

"If I didn't go through that. Well..."

"I'd still be a mopey shut-in." she admits sheepishly.

Oh! Here comes the food! She looks at it as it's laid down.

Oh god, portions are so big here. ;_;. She'll be able to eat tommrow off this too. "This is for...two. And not four. Right?" she asks with a sheepish smile.

Nomf. Peanut~
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Eyes soften in sympathy, and Hannah's other hand rubs atop Haruna's. Slowly, she nods. R-T gives a tiny beep of sympathy and comfort!

"I was lucky. At least I had my parents, and that big fuzzy lug. Hey. Just know, between Aki and me, and everyone else...you're never going to be alone, Haruna. Promise." A weak little grin.

Squint. "How /is/ Aki lately? Still working out plans how to punch me into the next solar system? I kinda had fun fighting her."

Hannah leans back, crossing her legs. "Yeah. Japan, weird as it is, has given me the best gifts I could've ever asked for. And you're even cuter when you're not a mopey shut-in, by the by!" Wink.

Heh. Heh heh heh heh. Hannah's giggle is utter evil. "Oh, two, definitely. Two people, then two Familiars, and probably the rest shared among Ta-kun, UMBRA, and half of WPS!"

The fork and knife are at the ready, and she's nomf'ing and cutting off bits with reckless abandon.

"That is if I don't eat it all! Snooze you lose!"
Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa smiles. "She's calmed down a lot. She's still not happy. About that. I don't think she will be for a while, but she's kinda always been super double protective at times." she says. She huffs. "You didn't even know me then and I'm super glad for that. I kind of actively hated people." she says. "For no reason than 'trying to talk to me'." she says.

She looks down at the food and begins eating. She knows how to use a knife and fork at least.

Not just chopsticks.

"Americans do everything big it seems~" she sing songs teasingly.

"Not that I'm complaining." she says.

She peeks out the window.

"I bet it isn't as busy here as in Tokyo." she says. "Lots of people seem calm here." she says.

Ugh, Ta-kun. "Ugh, I hope things are going okay between him and Mercury." she says. "It's bad enough I have one Aki on my butt, she probably has four of them." she says, about the other Senshi.

"and also, you didn't like. Kidnap Aki and make an evil clone Aki and stuff either. So there's that." she says.

MMmmmm BBQ pork. ~_~. Authentic. "Woah. This sauce is really thick." she says. "Stuff in japan is like. Ketchup. I think?" she asks. "This is smoky and stuff."
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah lets out a sigh relief. "Well. Glad that's one thing I don't have to watch my back for." She adds, perhaps slightly nervoulsly. Smile. She digs in to distract herself from errant thoughts!

"You're darn right we do things big!" Hannah stands up, arms on her hips, flexing this way and that before finger-gunning. Hanners-ham time is now!

A shake of the head. "Completely different atmosphere. It's not like a big city. People can sit back and relax. Enjoy life. Sometimes I miss it, but then again, I've gotten used to WPS' pace too."

Shudder. "Nah, not like that's my style anyway. Well, he's still alive so...a plus?" Shrug. She needs to pay a visit.

A laugh. "Yeah. It's /awful/! Here, we actually use real molassas instead of corn syrup and artificial sweetners." Shudder.

Leeeean in. She wipes a bit of bbq off of Haruna's cheek, and then slurps it down off her finger. What an awful Hanners!
Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa makes an absolute mess, now she understand why there's a thing of wet naps at every table. Hannah does that- it causes her to blush. She clears her throat. "Yeah. Hopefully, he's settling down again." she says softly. "I mean. It's bad enough he answered that door out of henshin."

"...I am not particularly surprised he was like one of the leading students. For some strange reason." she says.

"Yeah he's alive! So that's something!" she says chipper-like.

"....I wonder if it's too late in the season to fish..."

"That's something you guys do in America a lot, right?" she says. "Movies say so!" she says. "Can we rent poles!?" she asks.

"Oh! and a rowboat!" she says.

"...I promise I won't tip over." she says as she eats more BBQ'ed pig. Delicious, delicious pig meat.

"I mean. If it's too cold..."

"...do fish sleep in cold...?" she suddenly asks.

She steals slaw from Hannah's protest of earlier cheek cleaning. :I.

"...What is this anyways?" she asks. "Cabbage salad of some sort?"

...she doesn't know what coleslaw is.
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
A little frown. "I was worried about him for a while. I mean, I guess I still am in a way. Those two both worry me." Ugh. Hannah shakes her head.

Fishing, though, has her bouncing just a little as she finishes off some pork. Already, as slaw is being devoured, a waitress is making up boxes to go! One of them is conveniently doggie sized and he other...bird sized!?

"Don't worry about the poles! I've got fishing supplies in my henshin!" Always be prepared.

Already, an arm is around Haruna's own as food finally finishes. Just after they pay, a tug, and a grin as they head off.

"Time to learn Miss White's Special Fishing Mage Technique! TO THE LAKE!"
