Synopsis:	Yuuki is practicing magic! Sakura is practicing Pokemon Go. Cue meeting!

Sakura Kinomoto was rollerskating through the garden, her eyes on her phone and then... "Yessss!" Pidgey! She skidded to a stop and then clicked on it, a moment before the sound of the bird squaking came from her phone. She hummed and stopped, tapping, tapping, tapping and... "Yes! Pidgeotto, you're mine! Eeeee!"

Awwww, she looked so happy. She then turned off her phone and moved towards the koi pond, pulling out the small packet of fish food she'd bought and gently tossing a few into the pond, causing the koi to come streaming forth for free food.

The Evening finds the usually very quiet girl known as Yuuki Oshiro walking through the gardens. What is she doing there? Why trying to find a quiet space. Somewhere not many people can see what she is about to do. As she goes, her mind is going a mile a minute. The girl is dressed in casual clothing. A simple violet sweater and brown pants. Rather fitting for a nice autumn day. On her wrist is a rather cute star shaped charm. At least thats what it looks like. No telling what its made of though.

She continues moving, going past the Koi pond. Past the girl who happened to be playing pokemon, Past the trees into a quiet area that usually people on private picnics frequent. "Are you sure about this Shining Star?" She asks quietly.

The British Female sounding mechanical voice rings out."Yes Sister. You are safe in this area. Though do not speak out too much. Remember you must search your heart for the words to trigger the magic within."

Yuuki sighs and just takes a seat to think. Wow this whole magic thing is a lot of hard work!

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked and glanced over. It was pretty late, she wondered what the girl was doing out so late? It took her a moment to realize... wait, wasn't that girl from her school?

She smiled and then, after a few moments, turned and started to skate towards her. After a feww moments she'd pop her head around the tree. "Hi!" she said happily, a grin on her face. Ah, Sakura, always so friendly.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro is quiet for a few moments. Her mind is racing as she continues to focus. "Magical Radiant?" Suddenly a Mid-childan magical circle appears under her in brilliant violet coloration. She looks down and her eyes go wide. "I did this?!" She exclaims.

And then... 'Hi!' Yuuki whips around to see... another redhead?! The distraction is enough for her to break concentration and the magical circle vanishes from sight. Probably too late. Unhead to the new arrival, Yuuki speaks with her mind. < Shining Star?! You said no one would be here!? Oh gods did she see! >

The little yellow star pulses just a little with a response as Yuuki stands and looks at the person. Oh! "Umm Hi? You're Sakura from School right? Nice to umm meet you." She forces a smile but its clear she is very nervous right now.

Sakura Kinomoto blinked and stared, her mouth falling open. She uhhh... she was, well, ummm... "Wow, are you a stage magician?" She was oblivious!

She rolled forward and politely bowed. "Oh, yes. My name is Sakura Kinomoto, a pleasure to meet you. That's such a cool trick! Is this part of the act too?" she askes, pointing to the star. "Is it attached with a string?" Oh, she was curious.

Yuuki Oshiro blinks a few times as suddenly... Crap she seen. "Err, ummm, not a stage magician at all. I was just umm... working on something. What do you mean?" She asks trying to play it down. Now she's terrified. So much for keeping her identity a secret.

She quickly returns the bow and smiles. "Hello Sakura Kinomoto. My name is Yuuki Oshiro. Nice to see you out and about." She blinks and looks at her wrist. "Yes it's on a string." It actually is. "This is just a umm. Its a very special heirloom. It belonged to my daddy." She states hoping the slight change in topic would stick.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto just smiled to the girl, cocking her head to the side. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Oshiro-chan. Well, whatever it was, it looked pretty." She glanced to the bracelet. "Wow, it's so pretty. So, ummm, I haven't met many people from class lately, so I thought I'd come say hi and..."

She trailed off and looked nervous herself. "I'm not... bothering you, am I?"

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro smiles a little. She looks to the girl in her class and smiles to her. "Oh no. Come on over and sit with me!" She is doing her best to just get past what was seen. "I spent most of the year trying to avod everyone. I was scared to make friends. Then Nanoha-chan befriended me." Then my life went completely upside down! Of course she won't say that. Even if she wants to.

Then there is the question. "No you're fine here. Its okay." She smiles this time a bit more natural. "Kinomoto-san, I'm curious. Have you ever had something you were supposed to do but were scared to do it and worried about what people would think?"

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked a few times and then got an odd, sideways look on her face as she thought about back home and kuro. "Er... welllll... yeah. Something like that. Sometimes." The wind card was burning a hole in her pocket. "But... I mean, if it's something you have to do, then you have to do it, right? You can't just leave it half finished especially if it's something you caused after all, right? And even if it's scary, there's... always your friends you can turn to and usually someone who knows better who you can ask for advice from."

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro nods, "For me I don't know how important it is. All I know is. Well I have this thing. Its a legacy I guess. Its something that I could be if I choose to. I know it would have made my daddy proud if I did. But I'm sorta scared. It means putting myself in danger and even my friends would be in danger. But its part of that legacy. Its really messed up." She sighs. "I do have someone can talk to but, I don't like bugging them all the time. They've got a lot to do too." She blushes a little.

Sakura Kinomoto blinked a few times and sat down by her. "Ummmm..." She thought about that for a moment. "Well... even if it made your daddy proud, do you think he'd be happy if it put you in danger? After all, more than anything, wouldn't he want you to be safe?"

"I mean, I know my dad would probably never, ever want me to be in danger but..." It didn't mean she wasn't. Some of the cards were going to be mean according to Kero. She just had to be careful was all. And eventually they'd be her friends, she was sure. "And... I'm not sureh ow important a legacy is worth. Is it worth more than your friends and self? If it puts you all in that much danger? Are... you thinking about joining the army?"

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro smiles a little, "No he wanted me to choose for myself. He wanted me to make my own way. He told me I could make everything better. The world... everything. That I had a lot of strength in me. I didn't know what he meant. I do now. I found out. Its really hard to explain." She hmms. Quietly she reaches into her pocket and pulls out a box of pocky. She offers some to Sakura and pulls a stick out to nibble on herself.

"If you can do something that can save lives and you don't, doesn't that make it worse then if you do something and people wind up hurt anyway? Sorry. This is just really all confusing."

Sakura Kinomoto took a piece of pocky, nibbling on it thoughtfully. She thought about the cards again and shook. If she had... if she did leave it alone, just let it go to that point...

She shuddered. "Yeah. I can... see that. If you're the only one who can do something about it, then I guess you have to be the one to do something, right?" she asked, before lowering her gaze. "I'm sorry, that can't be easy. I wish I could give you better advice but I uhhhh... I'm honestly kinda trying to figure out the same thing myself. So... just... ummmm... Do what feels right?"

Yuuki Oshiro looks at Sakura curiously. Her own green eyes examining the other girl. Its as though she's trying to figure something out. Something that she doesn't mention. "I have to. Its not joining the army. Its doing something much bigger." She sighs. Somethings got to give here.

The girl turns around and pops the pocky stick in her mouth. "What if the stories our parents told us when we were little were real. The whole thing about magic and everything. Things like those games at arcade about Sailor V and all of those rumors about magical girls. What if that world actually exists and we are just being hidden from it?" Best way she could think of to drop hints without saying what she is. This way she will either think she's nuts or... something better.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto eeped and froze and, "W-what? Like, like magic was real? Ah... hah hah... nooooo. That'd just be... silly, right? I mean, errr... y-yeah. Magic, errr, magic can't exist... eh heh heh heh... heh?"

Oh my gosh she couldn't be more obvious if she tried. She looked off to the side, rubbing the back of her head and then... wait, Sailor V being real? There's no way. THAT was just too silly an idea. Magical girls didn't exist, that was impossible. Then again, she had Kero now so... maybe.

Yuuki Oshiro blinks. That was enough to really tip her off. She doesn't think She's crazy! She smiles a little. "Its kinda weird but it would make a lot of sense..."

Finally Yuuki speaks up again. "What if what you seen earlier wasn't some technological thing or some sort of little stage trick. What if it were honest to goodness magic? Would that be normal?"

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto eeped and then pointed her fingers together. "I... I mean... errrr, if you, ummm, I guess. I mean, if you could do that and it was magic it would... be normal then?" She was struggling to dance around the point as well.

"So, errrr, you believe in magic, too? Don't think it's crazy?" And then urked. Oh gosh she just gave herself away.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro blinks and smiles a little. She stands to her feet and slips the bracelet off her wrist. "Shining Star, Set up!" Immediately the light around her goes dark and violet ignites behind her. Her clothing vanishes only to be replaced by a very impressive looking outfit. It looks almost like a princess dress crossed with mage robes. The star shaped stone rapidly changes and flashes bright, taking the form of a staff with a star at one end. The Yellow star is now a glowing yellow ball.

Suddenly the lightshow fades and there is Yuuki just blushing bright. "Well?" She laughs. "I actually came out here to practice. There is a lot of magic I need to learn and Shining Star has been teaching me."

Sakura Kinomoto blinked and stared and her eyes went wide. Her lil fists were under her chin and stars for eyes. "Oh... Oh my gosh. You're... you're so pretty! That's so cool! I can't do anything like that, how did you learn to do that? Are... are there others? I thought the cards were the only magic!"

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro smiles and blushes. She quickly looks around and frowns. "One moment. I'm going to try one of the things that a friend did. I dunno if I can pull it off but. Here we go." She closes her eyes. "Lets give it a try Shining Star. Barrier!"

"Barrier!" The word sounds like english and definitelyh as a british mechanical voice. Yuuki twirls her staff and brings it down on the ground. A violet Midchildan circle forms under her and an energy extends outward in all directions. passing Sakura and stopping as it surrounds the immediate area.

Yuuki blinks a few time and winces just a little. "Oh wow! We did it!" She smiles. "THis is definitely not my type of magic. I think my one friend can stick to this stuff." She takes a deep breath and looks to Sakura. Everything around them looks sorta muted color wise. "That is a barrier spell. I'm still learning. I wanted to learn this spell because it prevents 'normal' people from seeing anything happening inside. It was my first time trying that one." She blushes a little. "Anyway... I am guessing you're touched by magic. Otherwise you wouldn't be in here!"

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked a few times, staring at her. Then at the barrier. "You... you managed to... you can do that?" she asked softly, her eyes going wide. "You can stop people from seeing it? Do... do you think you'd be able to help me, then? I ummm... well... eh heh..."

She rubbed the back of her head. "I kind of... accidentally touched magic. I made a mistake and now I have to fix it. How about you tell me how you got yours and I can tell you about mine?"

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro blushes and sits down beside Sakura. "I dunno if I can. I don't know much about Barrier magic. One of my friends did a barrier like this. I don't know how big he made it but he didn't flinch! He didn't even have a device like this he just did it! It was wild." She smiles. "Ummm. I could introduce you at somepoint though. Maybe they could help ya out." She smiles a little.

Then the big question. "Well, you see. You know that whole legacy thing? This is kinda it. My daddy was not from Earth. He came from a different dimension and a different world. That world is called Mid-Childa. Apparently there is a lot of people there who work with magic. They are called mages. They created these things called devices which help a mage cast spells. My daddy created Shining Star. Its an intelligent device and has been programmed with a lot of spells. My daddy had a big desire to keep learning."

She frowns a little. "When he passed away, Shining Star went dormant and was left in some of his work clothes. I used those clothes for a halloween costume and Shining Star fell out of the pocket. It was really unexpected."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, listening to ever word. "W-wow. I ummm... I didn't... know any of that. I didn't think magic like that existed." She smiled none the less. "Well, I guess it's my turn."

She pulledo ut a small card. "So... apparently a long, long time ago, there was this mage by the name of Clow Reed. He was incredibly powerful and sealed a bunch of magic into cards, like this one. There are a lot of them and I... kind of... well... I found the book in my daddy's study and opened it. I read this card and... well... I kind of... lost the cards," she said with a weak smile. "I-I didn't mean to! I just... it all happened. Then the guardian, Kero, woke up and yelled at me. Now it's my responsibility to find all the cards so they don't wreck havoc. And... ummm... I don't really have any magic of my own. It's all the cards. And I'm not really sure how I'm going to do it without letting people know what I'm doing... so are there... is there other mages? Are people like Sailor V real?"

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro smiles a little, "Oops! Sounds like a pretty big accident. So you gotta go catch these magical cards and hope no one notices? That is really wild. I think most magic goes unseen by people but setting up a barrier lets us talk about it openly."

She snickers, "Well yes there are a bunch of other magical types. I met a couple of them. Not all of them are like me and not all like you. They are all different kinds. But there are magical people out there. I don't know if Sailor V is real. At least I've not met her. I'd like to think she is and is just doing the whole video game and manga bit to make some money." She laughs playfully.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto gasped, her eyes going wide with amazement. "R-really? All... all of that magic stuff is real? You've met others? D-do you think I'll get a chance to meet some of them? That's so cool! I-I didn't think any of this was real! I thought I was going crazy the first time and, and now it's real! I can't believe it!" she shrieked, practically hopping up and down. "What else is real? Are fairies real? How about leprachauns?"

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro laughs, "Ummm, I've no idea if fairies or leprachauns are real. I just know that Magic is. The magic I use is apparently Mid-Childan Magic. I'm sorta half human half mid-childan. I didn't know until recently. Talk about going crazy! I'm half Alien!" She blushes and winces a little. "When Shining Star Synced with me I thought I was losing my mind. I wound up dressed like this, standing outside. I ran inside and wouldn't speak to her for days." She laughs.

"Don't worry though. There are a lot of Magical people out there. Some good and some not so much. I know some of the good ones and I can introduce you if you want. I guess this means we're friends now huh!" She giggles. "If you need help and its something I can help with, let me know. I'd be glad to do anything I can."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto just kept staring at her in awe. "That sounds... so amazing! You're an actual alien? What are the Childan like? What other kind of magic can you do? Can you fly? Can you control the elements? Does this mean you were always magical? Can you travel between the dimensions?"

Then her eyes got even wider. ""Have... you seen any cards like these, by any chance? Or seen anyone who has used them? I hear they can be really, really dangerous if they're left unsealed. Kero was very, very firm about that."

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro blinks and her eyes go wide. "Err. Ummm. Only half. I was born and raised here. My daddy was from Midchilda." She smiles. "Well from what I gathered. They do a lot with magic. My daddy apparently was a Device meister. He created devices like Shining Star. As far as what I can do? I honestly don't know. I'm really knew to all of this. I can't manipulate elements yet. What I was doing before popped in was working on tapping into my magic. A Device is a piece of Technology that assists a mage. A mage has the magic in themselves. Thats what I was doing." She winces. "No. I can't. No one can. You see there is this group. The Time Space Administration Bureau. They have made Earth an off limits world. The area around Earth is very dangerous. A few years ago a ship got caught in Earth's field and crashed here. They've not been able to leave. So, no leaving Earth and seeing my Daddy's home for me!" She giggles.

"Oh umm, No I haven't." She looks over the card curiously. "I will keep an eye out for them though. I'm guessing that is one of the ones that escaped when you opened the book."

Sakura Kinomoto nodded, listening to each word. She then sighed and shook her head. "No, actually. This was the only one that didn't leave."

Then all that clicked. "Wait what? There was a ship? Aliens have come to our world? Wait, there's a... an administration bureau? Why haven't I heard of this? Why hasn't anyone heard of this? That's so... but aliens! Why aren't they telling everyone?"

She looked so confused. "But what about your family over there? You have a right to get to know them! Don't you?"

Yuuki Oshiro blinks and sighs. "This is why I put up the Barrier." She giggles a little bit. "Actually from what I've gathered, The crew of that ship have done their very best to not let on who they are or where they are from. They don't want to disrupt anything on this planet and I am pretty sure they don't want to be hunted down or anything. Midchildans look just like humans anyway. They are just from a different world.

"Oh. Umm. That stinks. If you need help finding some more of them, I'll do what I can." She frowns over the whole card situation.

Then about her family. She shrugs, "I'd like to meet any relatives from there someday but, as things are. Its impossible. Anyone who gets near Earth gets stuck here."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, crossing her arms and kind of... pouting. "Well, that's not very nice. I can't believe there are aliens and space ships and all of that, and we're stuck now? Why? For how long?" Then her eyes glowed again. "Eeeee! Ummm, are you okay if I tell Tomoyo-chan? She's my best friend and I tell her everything! Even about the cards. Well, she... kind of found out because... errr.... yeaah," she chuckled nervously. "Oops..."

Yuuki Oshiro blushes and winces a little. "Ummm. It would be better to not let the cat out of the bag about the magical thing. Both of mine and of yours. That sort of thing could get us in a really bad spot of the wrong people find out." She smiles. "If it slips though I will understand." Then she frowns. "Its not that the bureau is preventing people. Its this would itself. Anyone who navigates too close winds up crashing. So they hide their ships and blend in. Its like that until they figure out a way to get to them. My dadddy, He got sick. I think maybe he caught something here that he couldn't fight off."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded. "Ohhhhh. So it's to keep everyone safe! Okay, I can understand that. He couldn't fight off? Does that mean he--" And then it clicked. She went silent for a moment before she pushed in and gave her a hug.

"I... I'm so sorry. I... I understand how it feels. My... my mother passed away a... a long time ago too and ummmm... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to make you think about... that...."

Yuuki Oshiro hugs Sakura tight and smiles. In a quick flash, her outfit is back to normal and the star shaped charm is back on her wrist. The barrier is still up though. "Its okay. Its been really hard. I grew up on Okinawa. After the school year ended, Momma and I moved here.

She frowns a little. "I'm so sorry. Its okay though. Things will be alright, right?" She asks softly. The girl snickers are a couple comes walking into the area. They cant see anything of course. "But yes. sometimes its best to keep this sort of thing a secret so no one else gets hurt. Like I could use my magic to defend myself if I needed to but, if its known I'm magical, then anyone I know could be hurt and I don't want that."

Sakura Kinomoto blinked and then lowered her eyes. "They.... they could, couldn't they? Kero told me... all about all this. About there being magic. But he told me there wasn't a lot of it anymore. Thatt people didn't use it anymore. You... really think there will be people who might go after... our familieis if they find out?" And now Yuuki had Sakura looking frightened and scared, her hands wrapping around herself.

"I don't want to put my daddy in trouble. He already has to work so hard without..." She paused. "Do... you think there would be someone... better at this, than me? Someone who wouldn't mess it up?"

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro smiles, "Hey! Don't worry! For the warnings I was given, I've met a lot more good people. People who want to help and make sure things stay on the side of good. I am just protective of my momma." She smiles and hugs Sakura tightly.

"Listen. Those who can do something have to try. I don't think you'd mess it up. I think you will do well. And you are just starting out. There's no telling what you are capable of! I know my Daddy is looking down at me, watching me and cheering me on. I might mess up but as long as I don't give up, he will be proud of me. Your Momma is doing the same I bet. I bet she sees what happened and is cheering you on. You can do this! I don't think your friend would have told you to do something you couldn't do. Right?"

Sakura Kinomoto blinked for a moment and then nodded, a smile forming on ehr lips and wiping her eyes. "Y-yeah. You're right. I don't know what I'm worrying about so much for." She grinned. "After all, the cards... well, I think they're going to turn out to be really nice! Kero told me they're all like little spirits, too. Have their own little minds and... ideas and hopes. And they're all friends with each other! I'm hoping they'll be my friend, too!"

She blushed. "I... I really hoe she is. I ummm... I... I hope I can meet the other magical girls too. I guess they... are they really cool? Like you?" she asked, smiling up at the girl. "Can they do that kind of... cool magic also? To make themselves protect and... hide? Oh! You should meet Kero, too!"

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro snickers, "I don't think my closest friend does barriers. But the one she hangs out with specializes in them. I'm not good with them myself." She smiles a little. "Tell you what. I will talk to them and see about introducing you. We all got some cool stuff to do. My friend is really strong magically though. I think she could kick my butt if she needed to." She laughs. "We sorta started training together a bit. But yeah. I will introduce you if I can. Sound like a plan?"

Sakura Kinomoto nodded rapidly, clasping her hands together. "I-I'd really like that! It would be so amazing not having to do all this on my own. I mean, I know Kero is there but he's kind of... well..." And then sighed.

"I guess Tomoyo-chan is there too. But it's really embarrassing because she keeps wanting to film me going after them in these little outfits...'

Yuuki Oshiro blinks a few times. "Oh gods, don't let her see me in my barrier jacket!" She blushes a little. "Thats what the outfit I was in is called. Its like a magical suit of armor that protects from incoming attacks and stuff." SHe laughs. "Well you won't have to worry about anyone trying to get you into cute little outfits."

Sakura Kinomoto blinked and then shook her head. "W-well, it's not that bad. I mean, it's a bit embarrassing but... she's my best friend in the whole wide world and it's not so bad doing little things like that for her, you know?" She then blinked and her phone went off.

"What would-- T-there's a charmander near here!" she squeaked, then eeped. "I-I mean, errr..." Ohhhhh, she wanted to run off. How adorable.

Yuuki Oshiro giggles and nods, "I understand." and then. OH! Well that makes sense. She quickly checks the time. Her mom will be getting home soon. "Well have fun catching a charmander. I need to get home. Momma and I always make dinner together."
