Lost Cookies and Lost Logias

Synopsis:	A trip to Midori-ya is anything but normal when Yuuki and Sakura meet up. Snowball fights, False Positive Warnings, Missing Cookies! What more could be asked for?

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
School is out for the day and the sky is starting to go dark. Not because of the shorter days in this case but because the clouds are thickening. A storm front is moving in. That is enough to push Yuuki to hurry home quick. Or at least that was the idea. Sadly idea's change and thats exactly what happened when Yuuki was making her way past the Midori-ya cafe. The amazing smell of baked goods filling the air is enough to drive her mad! Quickly she turns and makes her way into the building.

Once inside, Yuuki makes her way to the front of the line. It doesn't take long before she is placing her order and taking her items to her seat. Her items in this case are a pair of Eclairs and a nice big cup of hot cocoa with pepermint in it and lots of whipped cream.

Sakura Kinomoto was almost skipping as she made her way home, a big grin on her face. She had almost ten cards now! Well, seven. But that was SIX more than she had a week ago. In fact, she was now over ten percent of the way there! She couldn't believe it, she was making really good progress!

Sure, four of them had tried to kill her, but she was beginning to understand why. They didn't mean it. They were just confused and disoriented. They weren't bad. And now that they were hers she felt this bond between her and them. The way they felt about her. She knew she'd get the rest,and then all of their friends would be together and happy. She glanced up at the little drops of snow coming down. and it was even looking like they'd get some snow. Maybe she should go see the penguins again! "Pengi pengi pengi," she said happily.

"Sakuraaaaa," Kero said. "Are you sure I can't have them?"

"Nope! They're for my friends!" she said happily. "For all the hard work they did!"

"But--" "I gave you all the extras!"

"But sakuraaaaa--"

She giggled. "Fiiiiine. How about we stop here?" she said before walking into the shop. She moved to the counter. "I'll have... ummmm..." A finger was held to the corner of her mouth, the universal sign for thinking. Then she perked up. "I'll have an apple juice and a strawberry tart and then an order of chocolate bread bites. Thank you!" She moved off to the side, hands folded behind her back, rocking back and forth and... then she saw Yuuki. Her eyes went wide. "Oshiro-san!" she called out, waving her hands.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro blinks and looks up, "Oh! umm, Hey, Kinomoto-san!" She has to giggle a little. How the heck is this girl so energetic. Someday she will need to find a way to harness this energy! She laughs and gestures to the seat across from her.

The place is busy. Few people, if any, would notice Kero. Most people can't see the magical world after all. Midori-ya is almost always busy after school. People come in for baked goods or to hang out or just to get out of the cool air. Or maybe they are lured in by the intoxicating scent of really yummy baked bread which is always really nice. Still, there is dull roar throughout the place this afternoon as a few more snowflakes descend on Tokyo just outside the windows.

Yuuki takes a big bite of one of her eclairs getting chocolate over her lips. She licks them and beams happily. Those things are really good. "So is it your first time here? This place is awesome! You know Nanoha-san, From our class? Her parents run this place and she works here a lot. I was sorta hoping to run into her cause she is really sweet."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto sat across from her and smiled. Then she blinked a few times, her eyes going wide. "W-wait. She... she works here? Her parents own it?" She cupped her cheeks and swooned a little. "That must be amazing! I bet she gets all the sweets she could ever want!" she said with a little sigh, then blinked. "O-oh! that reminds me, I got you something!"

She reached into her back, Kero grumbled. She then pulled out a small, pink bag. It had yuuki's name on it, in white hand-stitched text. "I wanted to give you this at school today, but I forgot. I ummm... I wanted to thank you for helping me with... well... everything," she said before holding it out. The stitching wasn't very good, but it was done with love. On top of that, inside were... cookies! Little wave shaped cookies. They weren't perfect, but they were obviously made with love. Dozens of them. Some were a bit darker and a little burnt. seems she wasn't the best cook either. "Daddy helped me make them, b-but I did all the mixing and incredients myself! I-I even cooked them! They're chocolate chip. I... I hope you like chocolate chip."

Yuuki Oshiro smiles, "Yes she does. This place is really cool. I've been coming here a lot more. She's sorta become one of my best friends. I don't really have many to be honest. Ever since I left Okinawa I sorta didn't wanna get too close to anyone. Then Nanoha-san decided I'd be a friend and well, thats how that works I think." She giggles playfully. Then her eyes go wide, "Wait you did?!"

She watches as Sakura gets out the pink bag and also while Kero grouched about the whole thing. She smiles when she sees her name stitched into the bag and then when she looks inside and sees the wave cookies, she can't help but giggle happily. "Oh this is so cool! You really didn't have to make me anything but they do look really yummy! I will try some of them at home! She smiles. It would be kinda rude to eat cookies from someone else in a bakery that sells cookies after all! "You're welcome though. I am glad I could help with that whole ummm.... Math problem!" She states with a big wink, as if to let her know not to go into details. Lots of people here after all.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, a big grin on her face. "I'm so happy you like it and ummm..." She looked around. "I've... met a lot of other tutors since all this happened. And I met this really, really, really cool girl who's a ummmm..." She leaned in and whispered. "A princess! Can you believe it?"

She then leaned back. "She told me she'd even let me join in one her special lessons! And she's so cool and amazing and she said we even look kind of like sisters but she's way, way prettier than I am and I ummm... I've managed to finish six of the math problems now! We're making such good progress!"

Her food was brought over and, with a grin, she slid Kero's into the bag. "I also met this weird guy who... well... he kind of looked like a grass hopper and..." Then she frowned and then... leaned in again. "I-I got really, really mad and I accidentally broke a bridge. Did you hear about the Clarice bridge? That was me..." Not completely destroyed, but a large chunk of it wrecked. People were suspecting a semi slammed into it and some how got out of there, but no sign of the wreckage.

Yuuki Oshiro smiles and blinks a few times. "Really?! That is so cool! I wish I were a princess." She states. THat is a perfectly normal thing for a girl her age to say, Right? She smiles.

"It sounds like you're really getting the hang of this math stuff huh?" Yuuki beams, proud of the girl. At this rate, she is going to be second banana to Sakura! Not that it matters too much to Yuuki. She's got her mind on other things. Like Hot Chocolate! She quickly picks up her cups and takes a long sip getting whipped cream on her nose. "Ooooo This is really yummy!"

Then Sakura starts talking about a grasshopper man and a destroyed bridge. "I didn't hear about that one. Huh. Well I guess that is a perk about those special math problems I do. They really help keep things in order." She smiles happily.

Sakura Kinomoto nodded, sighing. "I know. She's just so amazing. I really hope one day she'll let me... ummm... see her castle. I bet it's so extravagent and beautiful." She kind of swooned.

Kero rolled his eyes. "Girls," he muttered, chewing one of his chocolate treats.

"Oh, and yes! I'm really getting the hang of it! sometimes it's scary, but some of them are really fun and!" she then gasped, leaned in. "I-I met... I met a unicorn! A real, honest to goodness unicorn! she was a magical girl, too! she's one of our upper classmen1" she squeaked, wiggling about in her chair.

Sh ethen took a bite of her treats and sighed. "They're so flaky and sweet," she said with a sigh. "and, errr... well... I don't think it was all me. I mean, I haven't been able to do any math like... that since. I think it was the fact that Spark was there and helping me."

Yuuki Oshiro blinks a few times, "Oh I bet it would be. It must be so cool to be a princess. Dressing up and looking pretty all the time. Helping people out and just being so cool." She giggles and just fawns over the idea for a few minutes.

She smiles a little, "Math can be like that. But as long as you keep sticking to it you will do well! Don't worry." Then when she leans in, Yuuki looks around a little worried that someone might actually hear. Quickly she looks around. Her eyes close. "Magical Radiant." She whispers as the midchildan circle dances beneath her. "Barrier." She whispers as she finishes the spell causing the area around the building to grey out and the people who are in the building just sorta vanish for the time being. "There. Now we can just talk. Was hoping We wouldn't have to do that but I really don't want anyone hunting a unicorn. That is really cool though!"

Then she smiles a little as she watches. "Yes this place is amazing about their stuff." Then she does a double take, "Spark? As in the Masuko Miyo's feature a few weeks ago? The Precure that she posted an image of? That Spark? Wow! That must have been awesome! I bet she's super tough to be calling out bad guys like that." She giggles a little.

Sakura Kinomoto nods, squealing a bit. "Oh my gosh yes! to be pretty and loved and to be able to help people all day!" Now she can talk in person. "she said she'll even teach me! Well, she'll let me come and join in her meetings. I mean, I'll never be a real princess, pfft, could you imagine? But I could still learn to be like one," she sighed. "Kero-chan says when I get really strong in my magic, I could probably even make a palace of my own!"

She then looked around. Nodding. "Oh my gosh, yes. And she even let me touch her ears and she was so kind and nice and we caught the bubble card and, ummm..." She pulled out seven cards. "Look! Flower, wave, bubbles, wood, windy, float and little! Float even lets me kind of... well, fly a bit. It's so cool!"

She blinked and nodded. "Yeah! She helped me catch wood after it almost drowned me! Then this weird guy showed up and..." she blinked. "Called someone out? Wow. She must be strong. The guy I used that wind attack on? He didn't even blink! It didn't phase him inthe slightest!" she shook her head. "It's amazing how many powerful people there are out there! So much magic. O-oh! And I met this really cool guy, sky Jack. he said he'll help teach me! he caught me when I was falling from the sky. He was sooooo cool too. And then there's Cure Flora, a-and Hannah and Haruna, and then I meant this woman who said she was a steam sentinal named joy. And I even caught bubbles today, with the help of Ariel!" she said happily, then urked. "Ack! Oh no, I-I don't think I was supposed to tell you her name, please don't tell her I told you, she's so pretty and awesome and a unicorn!"

Yuuki Oshiro smiles and finally stops gushing over the whole Princess thing. As much as she would really like to be a Princess, Thats not in the cards for her. She is a mage though and thats pretty cool too.

She giggles looking at the different cards, "Oooo That is really cool! You are really doing it! See, You can catch the cards! I knew you could!" She beams happily as she finishes off her eclair and takes another sip of her cocoa.

"Wow you've been getting around a lot. Pretty soon you are going to know everyone. I think the only person in there that I actually know is Hannah and I was warned to be wary of her. The rest of those, No idea who they are. And don't worry, I won't tell anyone. I don't wanna out anyone as a magical girl or boy."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, grinning from ear to ear. "Yeah. It's... really scary a lot of the time. But it's also..." She held the cards to her chest. "They're warm. They're alive. And I think they're happy. They're happy to be with me. They're happy to be together. They're happy to not have to run around and be scared or frightened or worried. And... and I'm happy they're happy. I... I really am beginning to feel like I can do this. It was so scary at first and... and I really, really ran into some tough moments. I even thought I'd die but... then you and the others saved me, each time. It's still scary but... I know I'm not alone. So... I want to be the kind of girl who can... who can help protect all of you, too."

She then grinned. "Meeting everyone? I guess I am. It's the cards, really. They keep popping out by other girls!"

"Of course, the clow cards are attracted to those with magic," Kero said before drifting out. "I'm not sure why there's so much magic now, but this is good for us."

Sakura nodded and then blinked. "I guess... Sharpe-sempai is a bit weird. She likes snakes. But I hung out with her allll day the other day and I'm going to meet with her again soon. She's really a good person, I can tell!" she said with a big grin before lifting a hand to her chest. "When... when I'm near her, I get the same warm, fuzzy feeling I get when near you or Haruka or... or any of the other magical girls. and... and I don't think someone who is like that can be bad."

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro smiles, "Magic for good or bad is Magic. It will feel like magic right?" She smiles a little. "I mean its not the magic's fault for how a person uses it. So why would it feel different based on how a person uses it?" Its a sound question. She simply shrugs and finishes off her cocoa.

Suddenly something hits Yuuki. Or at least that is what it looks like She quickly rubs her head as she shakes it off. "Okay. Speaking of magic... I feel something. Its weird. I've not felt anything like it."

< Warning. Ancient Belkan Magical Signature Detected. Potential Lost Logia. Be Careful Sister. > The voice of Shining Star rings out from the bracelet on Yuuki's wrist. She has been mostly quiet today and that isn't really a bad thing.

Yuuki blinks a few times and suddenly looks very curious, "Wait. What? Whats a Lost Logia? Why would it be so bad that it needs a warning? This is stuff you should be teaching me about, Shining Star!" She yells at her device.

< Lost Logia are magical items from the Ancient Belkan's if not older. They hold a lot of power and can be very dangerous. The TSAB usually tracks and contains them but this is Earth. There is no TSAB here. Be Careful. >

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked a few times, pulling the cards back. She frowned and looked around. "What... what is it?" she asked, looking worried. She pulled out the key, holding it up. "Key that contains the power of darkness! I, Sakura, call upon you using our covenant! Release!" It formed into a wand and she got to her feet.

Kero frowned. "I don't know what that is, Sakura, but be careful!"

"W-what? so it's not a clow thing, then?"

"Clow probably knew about them, but... welll... err... I forget," he said with a nervous chuckle. Sakura just sighed and looked around.

"What do we do?"

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro blinks a few times, "There is no Time and Space Administration Bureau here. If there is something that dangerous around here we should probably find it and get it somewhere safe. We wouldn't want anyone dangerous to get there hands on it right?"

Yuuki stands up. She doesn't power up or anything. She simply looks around. "Well lets start by looking around." She smiles but still looks like she is feeling the impact of that magic. She starts walking around the resturant. Nope. Nothing out of the ordinary. At least to her. It all looks like regular equipment. "I hope this isn't too far away. My barrier isn't that big. Its only big enough to cover Midori-ya."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, looking around. She hummed and tried to think of what card would really help her search. None of them. She then sighed and Kero started flying around as the two began to search. "What's it look like?" Sakura asked. Sadly, her magic powers were still undeveloped and unless it was really strong, magically, she wouldn't even be able to sense it, let alone track it.

Yuuki Oshiro shrugs, "No idea! I know that it's strong. It feels like its ringing in my head!" She winces a little bit. "Shining Star, What does it look like?" She asks as she continues looking.

< Unknown. > The device answers in a single word.

"Lot of help you are!" She states as she continues looking around. "Huh." She begins moving closer to the door. "Thats weird. It feels stronger this way." She states as she moves away and then close again. "Yeah I think it might be outside!" She comments as she gets ready to open the door.

"Okay Lets hope this isn't something that wants to fight." She opens the door and...

Snowflakes gently dance from the sky as the dark of the evening is starting to descend. Nothing seems out of the ordinary. In fact everything is at peace! Yuuki blinks a few times. "Huh." Nothing. No magical sensation. No sign of anything. "Its like whatever it was just vanished. I think We need to talk to a friend about this..." She comments.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto walked up behind her, holding her wand close and looking around. "It's gone? Already? but... are you sure it was here? Maybe you're sick?" She stuck out her tongue and caught a bit on her tongue, giggling a little at the flakes. Granted, if there wasn't any need to fight... a mischievous grin formed on her lips. Though she waited to make sure everything was good, first.

Yuuki Oshiro looks at Sakura and shakes her head. "I know what I felt! That was real and Shining Star doesn't give warnings like that without cause. Its like it was here then it was gone. Shining Star, what is going?"

< There is no magical signature here save for your own. Hypothesis. The Lost Logia may have been passing through time and left an echo at this location. This planet is not known for normal magical activity. >

Yuuki sighs and frowns. "Okay that is just really strange. Still I should probably talk to someone who knows a little more about these things. If that thing is going to a different time, there is no telling where or when it could pop up." She sighs. "This is all really confusing!"

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nods, crossing her arms and humming. "Wow. Through another time?" she asked.

"Maybe the time card is involved," Kero offered. "Though, I don't see why it'd be interupting in other magical magicss like that. It's a bit of a loner."

"The time card?" Sakura asked.

Kero was quiet for a bit. "Don't worry about it, Sakura."

"... okay?" She then nodded. "So... it just... goes through time, then? That's... pretty cool." She leaned down and, slowly, grabbed a bit of snow and... threw it at yuuki's back! giggling!

Yuuki Oshiro smiles, "Well, When stuff winds up on Earth, its supposedly crashing not just through space but time and dimensions too. So it could have just be falling and getting close to landing? Well at least it won't be causing trouble here right?"

She blinks a few times. "Okay This Clow guy must have known some of the ancient mages and stuff too. That is really cool though. A Time card? That could be pretty fun!" She smiles softly.

Quietly she turns and just looks around a little. Suddenly, SNOWBALL ON THE BACK! "EEP!" She blinks a few times, "OH you are so in trouble!" She quickly reaches down and gets her own snowball and throws it back at her.

Sakura Kinomoto giggled and ducked under it, diving down and scooping up a bit, her wand turning back into a key, going back into her pocket. She rolled, grabbing some snow and flinging it at her! Oh, dang, agile little thing.

Kero nodded. "Ah, yes. Clow Reed was the most powerful mage of all time, both past AND future. There's no--" And then a snowball hits him in the face. "DANG IT SAKURA!"

The little card captor eeped as the beast of the seal started making balls to throw at her, arming yuuki in the snow ball war.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro giggles, and eeps as she puts her hand out. "LIGHT SHIELD!" She calls out as that nifty circle forms at her hand and soaks up snowballs. An abuse of power? Of course not! THIS IS SNOW WAR!

She giggles as she watches Kero start taking her side. "Yeah Get her Kero-san!" She laughs as she quickly starts making her own snowballs and tossing them at Sakura. She just laughs all the more as she takes cover behind a bench. "Ooo I found a base!"

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto eeped. "W-what? Magic! That's no fair, that's cheating! A base too? Noooo!" She ducked and weaved, but, alas, within moments she was buried. "I... I yield," but then she blinked. "W-wait, no I don't!" She summoned her wand again, grinning as she drew a card.

Oh dear. "WAVE!" Oh shoot. "Bury them in snow!" FWOOF! She activated the card and suddenly a wave of snow rose up, flying at poor yuuki.

Well, yuuki DID start the magic.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro blinks, "Oh crap." She states as she sees nothing short of a snownami coming her way. "Shining Star Now!" She calls out and as the wave of snow comes crashing down, two words can be heard being shouted out. "STARFIELD BARRIER!"

As the snow settles, a Half bubble covering the ground can be seen all in violet with pins of white white light flicking and sparkling like stars. Inside the barrier however is probably something that should be a bit more disconcerting. Yuuki is on her knees using The Shining Star Staff to support herself. She looks like she is half out of it. She is also in her Barrier Jacket and looks as awesome as ever.

Finally that spell breaks and she flops over onto the ground for a few moments. "Yikes! That spell is crazy! It feels like its taking almost all of me to cast it."

< Sister you are still learning and that spell is drawing a lot of mana from you. You should not use it unless you desperately need it. >

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked a few times, then her eyes went wide and she ran towards her. "O-Oshiro-san? Oshiro-san! Are you okay? I thought you, I-I didn't mean to, I'm so sorry, are you okay?" she asked, panic rising in her voice. "I'm so sorry I was just playing around I didn't mean to hurt you! I-I thought it was just snow and your barrier would, would keep it out I'm so sorry!" She looked like she was about to burst into tears. "I-I won't use magic anymore, I swear, please, please be okay." she hunched down by the other girl, looking stricken.

"Sakura, I think she'll be fine. She just expended a lot of magic doing that," Kero mumbled, rubbing his chin thoughtfully as he looked between them.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro laughs and just throws a snowball at Sakura, "Its fine. That spell is really strong. The last time I used it was to soak up a really big attack. Italmost soaked up the whole thing too. But that time it knocked me out. This time it just really exhausted me. So thats a step up!" She smiles a little. "You're fine! I'm not mad at all." She states as she moves to stand up.

As she puts her hands on the ground she blinks a few times. Something moves under her hand! She quickly moves the snow away to find... Weird, A necklace? "Huh. I think someone lost a necklace." She states as she gets to her feet. She cleans the snow off the necklace and looks it over in shock. "Wow! Someone is going to be upset over losing this." The necklace is a gold chain with what looks like a Ruby pendant in the shape of a heart.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto let out a sigh of relief once she was sure her friend was okay. that was really scary for a moment there. "Really? I'm so happy you're okay. That was... so scary. I thought I'd hurt you. I wish I had more control of this magic. I'll need to work on that."

She then glanced towards the necklace and cocked her head to the side. "Oh, wow! It's so pretty! Should we go turn it into the shop? Whoever it belongs to is probably going to miss it very much. Oh! Do you know any kind of tracking magic?"

Yuuki was so cool and knew so many different spells, maybe she knew one like that! "How about we go in where it's warm and you can tell me more about these, ummmm, Logias?"

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro smiles and nods. "Hey, we've all go stuff to learn. I should have probably used Protection as opposed to Starfield Barrier. Protection would have been an easier spell and less taxing on my mana." She smiles happily.

She looks at the necklace and thinks, "I think maybe it would be better to take this to the police I will do that first thing in the morning. That way they can track down the owner."

She smiles, "Well, right now you know about as much as I do about the lost logias. But you are right, we should probably get inside. I should probably take down the barrier too. Don't wanna raise any suspicion from magical types right?" She smiles happily.

Sakura Kinomoto nodded, quickly heading inside and shivering. "Brrrrr. It's getting cold out there," she said with a light shake. "Isn't it, Kero-chan?"

He nodded. "Yeah, it's freezing."

Off in the distance she heard rumbling. "Lightning? During a snow storm? Ohhhh, I hear that's good luck!" she said with a grin, sitting down. "so... do you need to gather them or something? What do they mean to you, exactly? Are they part of your whole... well... magical girl thingie? Like my cards? Or are they something else?"

Yuuki Oshiro blinks a few times as she hears the storm starting. "Huh!" She quickly makes her way inside. "Yeah its getting pretty cold out there. She smiles a little and lets her barrier Jacket vanish and the barrier around them begins to fade.

"Honestly I don't know. Sakura, I am completely new to this... type of math." She smiles as the sight of people begin filling the area. "I'm not a TSAB agent. I think they are the ones who would be hunting that sort of thing down and dealing with it."

Sakura Kinomoto nods and gives a little sigh. "But they aren't here now, right? Oh, that's just so troublesome! You'd think they'd leave at least one agent or try to find some way of dealing with it. If their problems are coming here, they should be the ones dealing with it, not just leaving us behind because the... math here is so weird." Oh, she'd come SO close to saying it. She sat down and... wait... "Where'd my pastry go?" she blinked, then turned to glare at her bag. "Kero-chan..." she whispered.

Yuuki Oshiro blinks and looks at the pink bag. "Huh..." She looks inside and... Empty. "Wait didn't this have cookies in it?" She asks curiously.

"You're right though. They should be dealing with it but how does an organization who can't come here keep tabs on anyone here?" She then remembers something that Nanoha mentioned to her. "I think, maybe I need to chat with one of my friends who is a mage like me. She said that there are some people who crashed here that she knows."
