The Case of the Missing Mage
Date of Scene:	09 December 2016
Location:	Plot Room #3
Synopsis:	Yuuki Oshiro has not been in school since last week. She's not been out training, Not been hanging out with her friends, Not been anywhere. What has happened to the young mage? Did she get sick from the recent inclimate weather? Did anything bad happen to her? Only one way to find out!

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
It is a nice but cold evening. The sun is blocked by some looming clouds. Still its not a terrible evening. Just a little chilly. School has since let out. Everything is as it should be or it would seem so anyway.

One student has not been in school all week. She's not been seen since last Friday. She's not been in school. Not been at the places she usually hangs out. Not even spoken to her friends. It is as though she's been picked up and removed clear out of Tokyo. Where is she?

Even the school is starting to worry a little about this girl. Usually by now they'd have gotten a message from a parent or something. For a student to disappear without a trace for a week? That is a big problem. So they have asked her friends what is going on.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto would of course have come. She'd heard a few rumors, but she thought the parents had contacted the school! To think they hadn't! Yuuki was her friend, after all, she had to find out what was going on, what was happening to her. Her friend had to be okay. She just had to!

She'd tried calling her a few times, but no response. So now, here she was, outside the house and gently knocking on the girl's door. "Hello? Is anyone home?" she called.

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Yuuki had not been in school for a few days. At first she thought 'Yuuki is just sick'. And apparently it's been something like that. So she obtains apple cider from Midori-Ya and also obtains some light pastries-- less sweet- more savory. You don't do sweet when you're sick!

She knows that much.

She blinks a bit. Is that Sakura?

She sort of jogs up the way to catch up as Sakura reaches the door. "Hello!" she says with a smile.

"Are you here to visit Yuuki too?" she asks.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
The home of Yuuki and her Mom is actually an apartment. Its a nice place and really quiet. Nothing overly compelling about it from the outside. As Sakura knocks on the door, A faint bit of magic could possibly be felt. It fades quickly. The sound of heavy footsteps can be heard moving towards the door.

The door opens, "Hello, can I help you ladies?" The person who answers the door is not Yuuki. Its not Yuuki's mother. Its a man. One neither Nanoha nor Sakura would have met before. The man is tall. What is more disconcerting about this man, Yuuki has several physical features in common with him.

The man gives a warm smile, "Wait, I bet you're hear to see Yuuki-chan. Give me a moment. You can come in if you would like." He leaves the door open and calls out. "Ladybug! There are some people here to see you." He moves to the kitchen and quietly makes hot cocoa.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto glanced over. What? Who was this... "Oh! Nanoha-san! Yes! I decided to come and check on her to make sure everything is okay. Tomoyo-chan wanted to come too, but she had to get home. Her mom needed her for something, eh heh heh," she said with a silly grin.

"How are you doing? Are you well? I wasn't aware you were friends with her." She then glanced ahead. "Besides. I uhhh... have a gift for her."

Then the door opened! She grinned up at the man. Her daddy? Oh, wow, he didn't remember her ever mentioning him. But then, she guessed they hadn't talked much. She started to walk inside. "Uh huh! We're her friends. Is she okay? She hasn't been to school in a while now, we were getting a little worried." She didn't even noticed the magic, her senses of detection were still so weak, she could only barely detect clow cards as it was.

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi smiles. "I'm here with some apple cider and some lighter pastries for her." she says. "From my bakery, Midori-ya." she says. She looks up to the... man? That answers the door.

She expected Yuuki's mother. Is this an uncle? Or her mom's boyfriend?

But he calls her. Ladybug. That would be odd wouldn't it? So. She settles with. Uncle.

She gently smiles. "My name is Nanoha Takamachi." she says. "And yes, we're here to see Yuuki-chan." she says. She gently looks around a bit curiously.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
"Okay! I will be right out!" Yuuki shouts to the man. It takes her a few moments before she is able to come out. When she does, One of the first things noticable is there is no bracelet on her wrist. No yellow star shaped device. The next noticeable thing is that Yuuki doesn't look so hot. Not like sick, but like she's not actually eaten much in a while. "Hello Nanoha-Chan! Oh Hi Sakura-chan! How are you both? Things have been a little rough this week. I had this really bad dream thats really messed with me. I haven't been able to think clearly so Momma and Daddy have kept me home from school."

The man walks over to Yuuki and smiles at her. "You look lovely Ladybug!" He embraces her and smiles at her like a father would a daughter. She hugs him back. Its a truly loving thing. It would be perfect if there wasn't something very off about all this.

Yuuki smiles a little, "Oh! Umm I've got a little news!! I'm going to be moving soon! Momma and Daddy said that we are going to go back to Okinawa and things are going to be right back to normal! Isn't that great?!" She smiles looking completely thrilled. Then it registered about the cider and stuff. "OOOH! You didn't have to!" She blushes, "Come and lets hang out." She smiles leading them to the living area.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked a few times, starring at it. There... was something off about it. She couldn't put her finger on it. But... well, if she was happy, that was what was important! She followed her to the room. "Oh! I brought the replacement cookies after, errr, what happened before." She reached into her bag and pulled them out, holding the plastic bag of them out. "I hope they're even better than last batch!"

She gave a smile, then glanced to Nanoha. Wait... "W-wait. Are you the Nanoha who's... parents own the bakery? Yuuki-san told me about you!" she said in awe. Then glanced back to Yuuki. "Going back to okinawa? I didn't know you were from there. Is... that okay with ummm..." And then she trailed off and alarms went off in her head. Her dad. Her dad who disappeared and was an alien and gave her the magical thing. "Can... errrr... can we go to your room? Hee hee. What was the dream about?"

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha didn't really feel anything funny was going on until the words 'Mommy and Daddy' are brought up. She seems really confused for a moment. A long long moment as her brain tries to process this.

Yuuki's dad was. Dead. It's why Yuuki had Shining Star. It's why she moved to Tokoyo.

But.. he's here?

She looks over to Sakura- who apparently has caught on as she looks to Yuuki. "Yeah, let's go to your room Yuuki!" she says a bit. "So you can tell us about the dream."

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki gives a warm smile and nods, "Sure!" She leads the way to her room.

Opening the door, Her room is actually kinda cute! Its done up in violet colors and she has a few pictures on the walls of instruments and such. Her cello is sitting in the corner and its clearly been played in the past few days. Something in there feels slightly off. Only slightly. Its Stronger here. Strong enough to be more noticable.

Yuuki moves in and takes a seat in a comfy chair that she uses usually when playing her instrument. She gestures to the bed, "Have a seat!" She accepts the cookies, "Ummm, thanks?" Could she simply not remember why she's being given cookies? "So whats happening at school?" She asks quickly.

Then there is the looming question. The dream. "It will sound really scary." She frowns and looks down. "I dreamed my daddy died. That mommy and I came to Tokyo so we could start over. You both were in it! I had this thing and could do really cool stuff." She pauces and just seems to gaze off into the distance.

< Nanoha!!! Sakura!!! Someone hear me please!!! > The voice of Shining star seems to be coming from a long distance away. Even her shouts are little more then a whisper.

"Sometimes its like I can still hear that thing. Its really weird. But when I woke up, Daddy and mommy explained it all to me. That it was just a really bad dream and that dreams can be really real sometimes."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, staring at her. "I... I see. And, ummmm, what else did your daddy say? We, errr, were both in it? Both in it... how?" she asked softly, glancing to Nanoha. Was she a magical girl too? If so, then this would be easier. Otherwise she'd have to hide what she needed to do. But her friend needed help and just... ughhhh! "What kind of thing did you have?" She glanced around the room. Where were you, shining? You're here, somewhere. She knows it is. She just had to figure out where. She wished she could talk to it. "Soooo... when you feel you can hear it, what does it say?"

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi nrgs a bit. If she'd brought Yuuno, she could send him off investigating.

She follows Yuuki into her room and things just. Feel wrong. Wrong wrong wrong.

They're alone now though.

Then her device makes a connection. It's weak. It's Shining Star. She tries to reply back-- telepathically via her own device. < Shining Star...? Something is wrong here. Were are you. Why is Yuuki acting like this. >

She frowns. "Yuuki. Something is wrong here." she says matter of factly. She's going to try talking before she goes straight into 'make a barrier'.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro smiles to Sakura, "Well, this is going to sound really funky." She takes a deep breath. "You were trying to catch these weird cards. One of them tried to drown you! I fought with it and it tried to give itself to me! It was really weird!" She looks over to Nanoha and blushes, "And you were helping me to learn magic! I know I was really out of it. Wasn't I?" She goes quiet again.

< Oh thank the Makers. I've been trying to get Yuuki's attention for the past week. She can't hear me. Something is preventing me from speaking directly to her. I don't know what is happening. >

"Stop! Please! It was only a dream. It can't be real. It was only a dream." Yuuki grabs her cello and begins playing, drowning out what was hearing in her head. She is actually fairly good with the instrument.

Then there is the comment from Nanoha. She stops playing and just looks at her. "I... I don't want to believe that. I want it to be okay. I want everything to feel good."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto sighed and then looked to Nanoha. "Oh. Good. So you are one, too." She then drew her deck of card. "Yes. You did help me. In fact, if not for you, I might have even died." She drew the cards and held out Wave. "This was the card you got me. She's a bit too playful at times and very, very hyper. But she means well and when you know how to handle her, she's really kind. And... and your dad isn't supposed to be here. He's gone. He's why you have shining star. Or why you should have shining star." And then... she leaned in and gave her a big hug. "I'm so, so, so sorry Yuuki-san. I know what you're thinking. I... i know if there was a chance that my mommy would be back... I'd do anything for her. For it. But... but that's not your daddy..."

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi frowns. "Those things did happen Yuuki. Something is wrong." she says. She grasps Raising Heart carefully and then it shifts into it's staff form. Which she spins as an array of circles form around and under her as she casts the Barrier spell.

It'll isolate the real from the magical. That's partly how a barrier works.

Hopefully, it may help shed some light on what's real- and what isn't- here at the moment. And if it reveals nothing?

Well that's also something.

< Shining Star. > she says. < She's here but she thinks all.. the past few months were a dream. And also. Her dad is here. Somehow. But. You'd had felt him. If it was real. Right? > she asks.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro frowns as she listens to Sakura. She looks and sees the things that are real. They to her are still part of a dream and just the sight is tearing her apart. Her eyes begin to tear up. "No... Please no..." And then Nanoha chimes in and turns Raising Heart into a staff. The girl's heart sinks. The confusion on her face shows just how much damage this is doing to her.

As the barrier goes up, Nothing changes. The entire room. The entire apartment is flooded with magic but its hardly noticeable. Its ambient at best.

No. Ryu is he is not here. His body has been buried on Okinawa. There is no one else here save for those in this room. >

"But But... Daddy." Yuuki looks towards the door. Part of her wants to run out and embrace her father. "He's here! I seen him! That is him! Thats my daddy! Please don't make him go away." Yuuki cries.

< Its a Lost Logia. It must be. That is the source of this disruption. I picked up on it Friday. It faded away shortly after though. The highest Probability was that it passed through this time and space. >

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto kept hugging Yuuki, nodding. "It's... it's hard. I know. But... your daddy is gone." She nodded and let the girl cry. "Everything is definitely going to be alright. I promise. You still have your mommy and... and... I know your daddy isn't physically here. But he's up in heaven now. Okay? He's watching you. Always looking over you, no matter what. Because he loves you and he cares about you. And... and he believes in you. You're strong, Yuuki-san. I know this hurts, but you're stronger than this. You won't let this break you. Because... because the world needs you. Your mommy needs you. And we all need you, too." She gently pulled back, smiling up at her.

"I know it hurts. But you can do this. I know you can."

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi frowns. "Lost Logia...." she sort of pushes her teeth together. Yeah she's talking to Yuuno tonight. He's the expert on that. She frowns. "Yuuki. This is.. an illusion. Something isn't right here." she says. "And you know it's wrong-- but you don't want to..loose it all again." she says.

"But you can't just. Live in a fantasy like this either." she frowns.

She moves a little closer and tries to take Yuuki's hand. "You were strong before. Going through that." she says.

"--and that did happen..." she says reassuringly as she can.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro whimpers softly as slowly the illusion around them begins to fade. It flickers before everything goes grey. Sitting on her dresser is Shining Star. Right beside Shining Star is a gold necklace with a red Ruby Heart on it. It pulses with magic, Suddenly An Ancient Belkan Magical Triangle appears beneath it, Glowing Red. With a flash of light, its gone. Teleported away.

Yuuki just cries her eyes out. She wanted to stay in that fantasy. That world. Everything was right. Everything felt right. She looks up at Sakura and at Nanoha and shakes her head. "Daddy..." She frowns and just cries. "Daddy! Don't leave me again."

< Sister. That was not our Father. He was never here and therefore can not leave you. This was an illusion. You were under the influence of a Lost Logia. You have not eaten in a week. You're body is weak from that. The things you ate were an illusion. Your Mother is worried about you. She believes you are losing your mind. > Shining Star Speaks out and finally Yuuki can hear her.

Yuuki frowns, "It didn't feel like an illusion. It felt real. Everything felt so real. I didn't feel anything wrong. I couldn't. I wanted my daddy. I wanted him more then anything in the whole world. I wanted him to be alive and to hold me and to call me Ladybug again. I missed him so much."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, hugging her friend. "I know. I know exactly what you mean. I know how it feels. I know. Here..." She reached into the bag of cookies and slowly pulled one up, feeding it to her. Or trying. "Eat these. They'll help give you strength and make you feel better. You... you need it." She then looked back. "Is there any way to... follow, whatever that was? So it can't come back and hurt her?"

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi frowns a little deeply and hugs Yuuki tightly. VERY VERY tightly. "It'll be okay Yuuki... don't you remember? It was okay before. I know...it'll hurt. But. Your mom.. your real mom. Must miss you-- you/you! and you need to eat and----" she frowns a bit.

She frowns a bit.

She looks to Sakura. "I know Yuuno can sense a partiuclar set of Lost Logia, maybe he can tune it to the Lost Logia's signal or reading....."

"Raising Heart..can you try to scan this signature?... Shining Star... can you copy anything you have to Raising Heart?...." she politely asks.

"I know..it may had felt real. But when magic... gets that deep...." she says softly.

"Yuuki, this is going to do this to other people if we don't catch it."

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro frowns and just hugs both Sakura and Nanoha. She is a bit of a mess but it makes sense. She takes a moment and nibbles at a cookie. Her stomach growls loudly as she eats it letting her know just how bad it is. She gives a light smile. "Its yummy."

When Nanoha brings up things she nods. "I.. I remember. It's coming back. Its like anything that would have happened aside from the dream was blocked off. It was so tough." She takes a deep breath and nods. "I know. I will eat something more. Don't worry."

< Of course Nanoha. I have little on the Logia. From what I have picked up, This logia is capable of very strong illusion magic capable of drawing multiple people into the illusion. In this case, It drew Sister and both of you into it. It seems to feed off of a person's magic and gives them their deepest desires in an illusion. >

Yuuki frowns and stands up. She walks over and picks up Shining Star and speaks... "Shining Star, Set up."

< Sister you are in no condition to chase down the Lost Logia at this time. You must eat and recover. >

Yuuki frowns, "I will be alright. Either help me or don't. One way or another I'm going after it." She states firmly.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, taking Yuuki's hand. She smiled down at star. "Don't worry. I'll be here and so will Nanoha-san. If she wants to fight, we'll make sure she doesn't get too over her head. Promise. Now, let's get this thing so no one else gets hurt." She pauses. "Though... maybe take a few minutes to make her a sandwhich or... something?" She slowly starts to guide her towards the kitchen. "Nanoha-san, see if you can track it, I'll feed her, okay?" she askes with a nervous grin. And once in the kitchen, starts trying to feed her! Om nom nom nom!

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi frowns. "I can't really track it yet. I need to get Yuuno-kun." she says. "..Oh. Yuuno. Is. a Ferret! A space ferret! He's been tracking similar things." she says to Sakura.

She frowns and looks over to Yuuki. "Yuuki. You need to eat. and rest." she says, moving towards Yuuki with a softer frown. "We'll find it , okay? I promise." she says with a short smile.

"When you're fit again, we'll chase after it!" she says more sternly.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro frowns and looks at Nanoha, "I will eat something but I am going after it. Its going to hurt someone else. Nanoha-chan, I can't let it do that. It needs captured. It gave me everything I wanted to leach off me! What if it does that to someone else. Someone who isn't nice?"

She sighs and just lets herself be lead out of the room. She still has Shining Star and she is definitely being a bit of a pain. Still She is at least trying to do stuff. Thats saying something.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nods and then would start making her sandwich, quick, simple foods and start feeding her. Forcefully if need be. But, once finished, she'd pull out her wand and then get ready to go. "Nanoha-san, how goes the tracking?"

She'd make some chips, sandwich and slice up some apple slices. "Here, eat."

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi frowns. She sighs. She seems to be rubbing her head. In confusion? Frustration? Well maybe a little in frustration but she's actually having a long range telepathic talk with her space ferret friend.

"Okay. If I have a signature I can trace it. I think... I got the general idea how?" she asks meekly. "Yuuno hadn't taught me the tracking spells yet." she says.

She frowns and gives Yuuki another reassuring hug. "Fine. But only after you've eaten. We'll go tonight."

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro is mostly quiet as food is made for her. She is still very crushed over the loss of her father... again. The second time going through this level of hell. She really doesn't want to eat. All she wants right now is to find that thing and make sure no one else gets hurt from it. Sadly that is highly unlikely to happen unless she eats.

As the food is set before her, she quietly nibbles at it. She doesn't want to do eat. Sure her body is begging for the food. Her mental state has her not wanting anything resembling food right now. Still she forces it down. It does quell the growling. Slowly she looks up. "Is that better? Shining Star? Now do you mind?"

< Sister, you are not ready to go after it. You need to rest. If you go out there you will pass out before you ever get close to finding it. Just listen to your friends and rest. >

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nods and then makes sure she eats every sigle drop. "Star, is there any chance of us actually finding it? We'll support her if need be. But... if she wants to go, I won't stop her." Not about this, at least. Her daddy was... well... if it had been her mom, she'd have never stopped going. No matter what. So this meant that they had to keep trying, they couldn't just give up no matter how badly they wanted to. "Nanoha-san can track it, then... maybe we can go. I hope."

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi frowns. Yuuki isn't going to rest is she? or eat enough? "Yuuki, you need to rest and relax. Okay? For all we know you've been awake and not eating for ten days with your mom worried. We really need to talk to her and make up some story for her too. Don't worry... I uh."

"I'm good at. Makin up stories now." she says a little ashamedly, but it comes with the territory of being a magical girl.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro frowns, "Fine. Do what you need to do. I Guess I will just go sleep a bit. Its not like we can actually find the dumb thing." She states sounding more then a little upset. The girl still looks pretty rough. She's been through a lot and it shows.

< You will feel better when you awaken. I promise. > Shining star states in her typical tone. < Odds are slim at this time. This Logia can conceal its signature making it difficult to track. Hypothetical. The more magic it takes in, the more difficult it will be to conceal itself. If it is permitted to continue feeding, it will make itself known. >

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi frowns. "Well we need to catch it sooner rather than later- and seal it." she says. "So it becomes inactive. Then. We need to bring it to people who can keep it safe- like Virtue." she says quietly. "or Lindy-san." she says.

She sighs. Raising Heart shifts back to it's bauble form and she slips it back around her neck.

"You'll be okay Yuuki." she says quietly.

"Sleep. Yes. Sleep is very good! Real sleep!" she says. "And-- I got. Cider. and Pastries for you, when you wake up!" she says.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nods and guides her to bed. Tucks her in. Gives her a lil kiss on the forehead, like her mom had. "Get lots and lots of sleep," she mumbled softly. "We'll both work to find it, okay? And we will call you the moment we do, okay? And call us if you recover and decide to go after it. Okay? No matter what time."
