2233/A bad day at the restaurant

A bad day at the restaurant
Date of Scene:	17 December 2016
Location:	Plot Room #1
Synopsis:	Prism Orange fought off a cook before meeting with its creator, Magical Girl Clotho. A bit of banter later, and the girl left with the energy she'd stolen.

Unmei has posed:
It was a quiet night at the local WcDonalds, where they were selling wouble burgers with wheese. At least, normally it would be a quiet night. Instead, the customers were buried under a mountain of cheese burgers, their energy being drained. Little tiny creatures, that came up to about waist height and seemed to be made of stone, were walking around and making more burgers, tearing the place apart.

Clotho was sitting on top of the restaurant, eating one of the burgers. Though she seemed to be sitting on empty air, floating slightly over the roof "You know, he really DID make a good wouble burger. I mean, this is really good. Want some?"

Pin rolled its eyes. "Clotho, this is the test of your powers. Focus."

"What? Everything is going fine, what's the worst that can happen? We just gotta wait to see if anyone comes and purifies them."

Down in the restaurant, the cook stood, wearing a great glimmering golden uniform, with a blue ribbon over his chest and a spatula in hand. "YES! DEVOUR THEM! DEVOUR MY WOUBLE BURGERS! THE GREATEST IN THE FRANCHISE!" alas, the customers had no choice as with a flick of his wrists, they were assaulted by the energy draining burgers, his coworkers collapsed on the ground.

Reiko Touyama has spent the better part of her childhood trying to figure out how to prounce WcDonalds. Her and mostly everyone else, has settled on 'Wic-Donalds'. Alas- name aside- it's some pretty good burgers. So there she was. In line. With her allowance for the week- where she was going to spend a small amount on it on a delicious cheese burger. (Because seriously, who orders those Fish Sandwhiches anyways.)

When. Suddenly... some sort...of cook comes from the back...

With... energy...draining... burgers...

You know what. Not much surprises Reiko anymore but that's pretty far out there.

She 'runs with the crowd'-- and-- into a bathroom. (A koi locks the door dramatically.)

"Chroma Prism Orange, Transform!" there's a trnsformation sequence! It involves a pretty dress appearing and koi tying a bow into her hair. It's super adorable but you can't see it because she's in the bathroom.

She goes and exits uncermoniously down the right as she lets tiny wings carry her back to the whole mess. "Okay..Okay. I can do this. I can do a justice speech about hamburgers." she says to herself.

Ahem.

"Hamburgers are delicious and --um. They taste really good with cheese on it and-- oh-- they bring happiness and smiles to the people who eat them who've waited so long for them! They shouldn't be turned into weapons!" she says boldly as she levies her Chroma Scepter down at the cook.

"Can you stop this!?" she asks.

Unmei has posed:
The cook turns to her. "Yes, my burgers are the greatest!" His uniform seemed to glimmer and glow as he waved the spatula in her direction. Then, before her very eyes, burgers started making themselves and then flying at her! Energy draining burgers!

However, the more dangerous creatures were probably the little spatula creatures that, upon her appearance, started charging at her! They tried to smack her with their spatulas, too! Not the most effective weapon, but there were almost two dozen of the creatures and even if they were small, that was STILL a bunch of little mooks to deal with.

Clotho finished her burger and blinked, grinning. "Oh, looks like it's show time~ Shall we see what we netted?" She walked tothe side of the roof, or more glided, then gently drifted down outside to peer in through the door. Still keeping hidden to watch the fight.

Reiko Touyama waughs and goes ahead and spins backwards and flies up toward's the roof of the resturant. Burgers and now also walking spatula like creatures. This feels more like some sort of silly anime boss fight! Ugh! It's always these anime tropes she gets and not the 'secret prince who loves you' ones. ~_~;;.

Still. She keeps her scepter raise and fires out a nice little 'bloom' of koi that swim through the air-- there's about twnenty of them! that aim to smash into both burgers and spatula creatures. And she does this again and again. Sending schools of orange, purifiying koi to smack into the creatures.

"Don't make me filet you!" she insists. "Or you'll get the halibut of it!"

Unmei Tama blinked a few times and then face palmed. Oh my gosh. She got a punny one. Even worse, that one was bad, it smelled like dead fish. Augh, now she was thinking them! Still, it was just the start. To Reiko's likely delight, the creatures were rather easy to destroy, poofing into brown and purple threads when they were destroyed. Simple and easy. With that single blow, th e majority of the creatures were destroyed, yes!

Unfortunately, the spatula man ran out after her, swinging his golden spatula out at her, as a giant lettuce leaf formed and tried to wrap around her, to trap her in its crisp goodness!

Clotho kept hidden for now, frowning as she watched the girl. That was... odd. She didn't recognize the girl at all. She sighed. "You sure she's magic?" Clotho asked.

"She just blew up half your dream soldiers."

"Well, yeah, but that's hardly impressive."

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Prism Keeper Orange keeps up the koi barrage when the Cook in the strange outfit and saptula comes in swining and she /eeks/ and throws up her scepter- emitting a fish=shaped shield to keep him and the lettuece away.

She grimaces and keeps in the air as she huffs a bit. "Ugh..." she mutters. "I dunno what's up- but I'm not gonna let you hurt people anymore with burgers or anything else." she says as the sheild glows for a moment---before it turns into a brilliant burst of fish shaped color energy and lances out toward's the cook in a bright burst of energy.

The cook recoiled from the attack, launching tomotoes at her. However, her fish shaped orange beam hit him square in the chest. he fell to one knee, resting for a moment. "N-no. I... I am the greatest... sandwich cook... of all time! I will not... stand for this! I deserve employee of the month! Of the year! Of all time!" More tomotoes now, his gems glowing a brilliant gold.

Clotho, meanwhile, made her way to the roof. It was almost time, she could feel it. she adjusted her rings, a small smile on her lips.

Prism Keeper Orange has him on the ropes. That's good. "I dunno what's going on...." she says sternly. "But I'm going to make it better." she says determinedly---

She throws her scepter up again and there's another bright burst of purifying color energy.

"Prism Aegis Power!.... Chroma Orange Overflow!" she calls out as she fires a large arching beam of light that seems to be filled with lots of gracefully swimming koi- trying to engulf the man with her brilliant purifyng color before---

Well Tomatoes.

The creature struck it with its spatula. "I will filet your fishies and make them into filet and fish!" Smacking it with a spatula had about the same effect one would expect. The light of swimming koi struck the creature, sending it back as it roared. Glimmering golden light disappeared from the creature, until eventually a young teen was there. And a single golden gem. The boy collapsed to the ground and the gem hovered in the air... until a golden string wrapped around it and pulled it to the roof. It came to rest in the hand of a young woman.

The woman seemed to be sitting on the open air, her legs crossed and elbows resting on the knee, one hand supporting her face and the other holding the face with her palm, but the gem between two fingers.

"Well well well. Interesting. I have to be honest. I realllllly hoped my first move would draw something more... relevant. But really? Orange? I mean, don't get me wrong. I love the dress, it's cute. But why orange of all colors? It just does not work as a base color. You look like a giant... well, orange fruit pop. Completely ruins the whole... actually cute little girl thing you've got going on. And then fishes? What do FISHES have to do with the color orange? Are you like... aqua brat? Star fish girl? The incredible orange peel now with fish sticks?" she asked, an eye cocked, giving a soft sigh of disappointment. "I was hoping for one of the cure girls. Maybe sailor moon. Instead I get the fish and fruit variety show," she said with a shake of her head.

Prism Keeper Orange watches as the cook turns into a boy and then there's a---

Golden Gem she frowns and gives it a strong stink eye. She doesn't trust magic gems, most certainly not after the last few times she's dealt with them in recent memory--- and she's about to make a grab for it when a gold thread pulls it toward's the roof. She blinks rapidly.

Oh. Then this girl goes on a rant. About colors.

"Excuse you?" she asks angrily. "I'm Prism Keeper Orange, I protect color." she huffs. "And if you don't know what orange has to do with fish then you've never seen koi OR your common goldfish!" she huffs angrily.

"--and I dunno what that gold gem is but I have a feeling you having it is a bad idea..." she says as she raises her scepter defensivly.

Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama snickered a little, spinning the gem on her right hand's finger tip. "Oh? Do you want to come and take it from me?"

"Clotho, you shouldn't antagonize the magical girls."

"What? Oh, come on. She's like eight. I mean... look at her! she has this whole princess getup with wings! then she summons fish. I mean, come on, fish! Like... it's so lame!"

She stood up, sorta. More leaned up, whatever magic supported her still holding her up. "so, you want to know what this is? Well, this little gem is mine~ You see, gathering the energy myself? That's just soooooo much work. I'm way too important to do that. But having the cook down there do it? Well, it was his own fault. He shouldn't have gotten flustered by the pretty girl," she said with a shrug, before sighing.

"But I suppose you'll want to fight now, won't you? Little Goldfish? I suppose it can't hurt." She held out her left hand and from her red ring threads began to rise up, creating the outline of a flame. After a few moments it turned INTO an actual flame, held in her palm.

"You told me your name, I'll tell you mine. Clotho. I don't protect any color or something like that. I just protect my own dreams." She looked down at the girl... then sighed. "But she's just a little kid. Do I REALLY want my first fight to be with some little kid? I mean, she's probably never even held a guy's hand before." She then paused. "Well, or girls. I don't judge, Goldfish." Really? she SOUNDS pretty judgmental!

Her little peacock companion nodded. "If you want to kill her, I suggest--"

"WHAT? She's like five! I'm not killing some little brat just because she chose a lousy color for her base! What's wrong with you?" ... Maybe clotho was just bad at telling ages?

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Prism Keeper Orange frowns. "Okay so you just steal energy like every other jerk in the city. You're not special either." she says.

She frowns. "Chroma Prism...Shine with vibrance....!" she calls out. She's engulfed in an orange light-- and when she comes out...

Well her dress is more elaborate- there's a tiara. Even the Chroma Scepter is more elaborate. Also. She looks somewhere around fourteen now.

She levies the scepter back down at Clotho again.

"First off. It's koifish. If you want to use a correct nickname." she says with a frown.

"Secondly. It's stupid to fight you over energy like that. Just leave. These people will be fine when your miserable self gets out of thier lives." she says.

Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama blinked a few times and her eyes narrowed. "Oh, she's got a bit of a tongue to her. Maybe this won't be so bad after all." She gets ready for an attack, then blinks. There was an odd look on her face then. She clenched her fist and the flames disappeared.

The gems on her outfit also dimmed slightly, the radiant gold darkening. "Ah. Of course. That's just the way ofthings, isn't it Pin?"

"Clotho, we should go. There's no need to put yourself at risk until you--"

"Yeah yeah, I'm going I'm going." She turned away. "It was nice meeting you, Goldfish. I'm sure the two of us will meet again. Probably," she said with a wave of her hand. She then ran off the opposite side of the building, disappearing off it.

Meanwhile, the boy on the ground groaned, slowly sitting up. "What... happened?" Inside the restaurant, others were beginning to wake up too.

Prism Princess Orange frowns as the girl runs away. She can hear murmuring... people are getting up.

Orange sparkles envelope her---and she's gone!

Ambulance and Police can take it from here.
