Battle at the docks
Date of Scene:	20 December 2016
Location:	Plot Room #1
Synopsis:	Sunny and Sky Jack meet Clotho, fighting her monster off and saving the local fish market. After giving her a few bruises, the girl makes her escape with her gathered magical energy.

Unmei has posed:
A nice, beautiful, sunny day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, the workers on the pier and the little pier market had collapsed, their energy drained as little tiny fish soldiers ran about, stealing fish and bringing it to a comedically large fish grill station on one end of the pier, where a man covered in golden armors and wielding a giant pair of golden tongs and a jeweled spatula stood. In his forehead a great golden gem gleamed.

The fish he fileted with a magical ease, tossing them on the grill as he sent them flying out, leaving those working the docks collapsed as well, a few vessels already feeling his drain.

Clotho was sitting on a warehouse roof nearby, a bit of grilled fish on her plate with rice, nibbling it. "You know, this REALLY is good."

Pin snorted. "I'm beginning to sense a theme with you. The burger joint, then this place.

"Listen, it's MY powers I'm testing so what does it matter if I use them to get something I want?"

"It matters very much. You're doing a very good job, Clotho. I couldn't be more proud of you."

"Awwww shucks. Ohhhh, another ship is coming. How long do you think it'll take it to get drained?"

"It should be here in say... ten minutes. So within fifteen?"

"Yayyyy!"

It's nice for it to be so sunny this close to Christmas. The warmth made life a lot more bearable, especially for someone flying several hundred feet above the ground through the slightly less chilly air. Sky Jack was out on patrol today, exploring the city of Tokyo for threats. Most of the time he didn't find anything this far north from home, as the harbor is usually covered by someone or another, but today seemed to be his lucky (unlucky?) day.

As he sailed along the buildings, he saw in the distance little buildings and shacks collapsed and fallen over, with people staggering away from the mess, holding their heads in that 'something magical disturbed my life but since it's magical I can't quite remember what it was' fashion. Ascending a little more, he saw the golden armored man and blinked. That's certainly... strange. The fish looked tasty, though, but this seems like a problem.

Directing his board towards the figure, he yells at it. "Hey, buddy! What're you doing to the harbor, huh?" It's entirely possible Jack missed seeing Clotho off to one side, distracted by the shiny golden jerk.

Akane Hino has posed:
Such a nice sunny day. Such a nice day for someone like Akane Hino to be out. When the sun is shining, so is Akane. A bright, cheerful smile adorns her face as she walks through Tokyo happily singing aloud. In fact, if one looks closely, they might think she's actually skipping instead of walking! That's how cheerful Akane is today. And where is she headed today?

To the harbor to watch the boats coming in apparently. When she can't think of anything to do, she likes to go exploring and check out new places. She's heading into the area still smiling and looking out at the ocean. "It's so beautiful," She says with a smile as she looks at the sun on the ocean. "It should be more like this all the time!" She doesn't notice Clotho or anything like that just yet...

Unmei Tama eeped, and hid! Showtime! Also, she took her fish and rice with her because it was, well, her lunch. And a growing magical girl needed her food!

The man in gold glanced back, before laughing. "You too have come for my delicious fish, the greatest in the world?! HAVE A BOWL!" He waved his spatula and bowls of rice appeared, the fish flying up into the bowls before flying at jack!

At the same time, the little tiny fish soldiers, that came up to about his waist, charged at him, their smaller spatulas raised!

Sunny would fine that, wow, the docks were busy today! With lil tiny fish soldiers and... about five of them ran right at her, jumping into the air and attempting to capture the girl and force feed her a bowl of the energy draining rice and fish!

Sky Jack descended, looking down at the man in gold, before letting out a little yelp, a fish-filled bowl slung up at him. "Hey! That's all of that you need to do!" A soccer ball, spinning in place, appeared in front of him and he reared back, punting the ball back towards the golden figure, the energy transferring over into the ball, spinning and sparking as it leaps off towards the armored man. From the corner of one eye he sees a mass of fish-men racing off somewhere, but right now he's got his own problem.

Akane Hino has posed:
Fishmen? Attacking Akane? No way! The girl knows how to defend herself fairly well, using a few well placed punches and kicks, but knows she can't handle this by herself. "Time for a little change!" Akane says as she finally manages to break free, ducking between a couple of warehouses and into a dark alley, before calling out her incantation. "The brilliant sun, hot-blooded power! Cure Sunny!" And then she changes from her usual self into Cure Sunny!

As she comes back out, she confronts the fishmen and says, "The power of sunlight shall triumph over you! Come! Take me on!"

Unmei has posed:
The soccer ball hit the man square in the chest, making him stumble back with a grunt. "NO! I will not be denied! All will eat my fish and understand how GLORIOUS I AM!" He swung the spatula again, sending more of the rive bowls at sky jack as they tried to grab onto him, latching on. Fortunately, they were easily broken, a single good kick would shatter them into threads.

Akane would discover the same. One good blow and boom, they were down. More of the fishmen charge her when they appear, thwapping her with their spatulas!

Clotho walked over to the edge of the roof and sighed. "Awwww. Look, it's a magical BOY!"

"So?"

"That's so BORING. I caught a love interest! He's probably some girl's boyfriend! I mean, sure, it'd be okay if the magical girl he was meant for was here too, but just, ugh."

"Maybe he's your love interest?" Pin offered.

Her cheeks turned bright red. "w-w-w-what? N-no he's not! I don't have a-- I'm not getting a love interest! Oh my gosh Pin stop that!" she flailed her hand wildly at the little flying bird, shaking her head. "Noooooo!"

"Oh! There's another girl down there!"

"Huh? OH MY GOSH! It's a cure! It must be HER love interest! Eeeeee! I think that's cure Sunny! I recognize her from her toy! Ohhhh, she looks just like her picture, too!"

".... the... really... badly, blurry one?"

"Shut up it still counts!"

Jack laughed as the ball impacted. "Hah! You'd better give it up - whatever you're doing here is going to lead to your ruin!" Unfortunately Jack hadn't paid enough attention to the charging fishmen or the flying bowls of rice and hot fish. Several of the fishmen latched onto him, whapping away with their spatulas, and he let out a cry of pain and annoyance, trying to skew his hoverboard back and forth to throw them off, as one of the bowls of rice carom off his shoulder, eliciting another cry. "Damn! That hurts - let go, you little jerks!"

With some effort he throws a few of the fishmen off and takes to the sky, smearing another one off on a tall concrete pillar, as he circles around to focus in on the group! "I'm gonna pound the lot of you!" He looks all tall and bright and righteously angered and is still not noticing Clotho off to one side as he rears back with one leg, an electrically charged soccer ball launching away as he kicks it, a few more following towards the fishmen and their golden chef master!

Meanwhile, Akane has started using her sunlight power to generate balls of energy to fling at the fishmen. "Here, catch these!" She says as she hurls them at the aquatic attackers. "Oh, wait, you can't! Ha ha ha!" Even in her henshin form, Akane still manages to have a good laugh. But then she notices Jack getting caught by the fishmen. "Oh no! I have to help him!" Akane exclaims.

Running closer, Akane gathers a ball of sunlight in her hands, a bit bigger than before, and hurls it at the fishmen. "Leave him alone! Now!" She calls out.

Unmei has posed:
The fishmen are getting decimated from the combined efforts of the balls of sun and the soccer balls, bursting into threads under the massive assault. Soon, all that remains is the cook, his jewel glimmering brilliant gold as he stands strong. He yells. "Fine, if you don't want a normal bowl, then try the extra large!"

He lifts his hands and then... a massive bowl of fish, almost the size of a trailer, falls on top of the two, attempting to trap them under the energy draining rice and fish as it tried to drain them of all their magical powers! While also covering them in delicious smelling spices. If not for the fact it was trying to kill them with it, it probably would have been quite a nice snack.

Sky Jack stops for a moment as the last of the fishmen are dissipated by the balls of light, flying in from one direction. He looks over, then raises a hand, grinning at Cure Sunny. "Hey! Thanks!" He turns back to face the cook, just in time as both his hands go up.

Jack tenses, just in time to see a shadow cross over him. He looks up to see the giant bowl falling towards him and lets out a yelp, diving to one side on his board. He can't quite make it the whole way and clips his head on the falling bowl's side, dismounting his board and rolling over and over to one side. He lays on the ground, groaning and holding his head, for a moment before getting back up, staring at the giant bowl to see if Sunny got be-fish'd...

Meanwhile, Sunny manages to use some acrobatic skills to avoid being caught by that rather large bowl! It doesn't look comfortable, nor do the contents look appetizing. She rolls away and sighs. "There's just no end to this, is there?!" She asks, starting to look a bit on the sour side, which is not typical of Sunny. "We will end this!"

Gathering the power of the sun again, Sunny throws forth a barrage of spheres of sunlight at the cook. "You will not darken our days! The sun shall shine all over!"

Unmei has posed:
The cook growls. "Look at all the food you've wasted! My fabulous meal, ruined! Destroyed by your selfish--" BOOM! He was hit in the chest by the bursts of sunlight and sent tumbling back, groaning weakly. It then started to get up. "I... will not... have my dreams ruined by some snot nosed kids! I am the greatest!" A fileting knife, made of gold, formed in his hands and he charged them and took a slash at Sunny!

Fortunately, if it DID hit her, it seemed to be made of magic. So it wouldn't slash her up. It would just hurt like a pain. More bowls of fish began to rain down on poor Jack.

Clotho let out a low whistle. "I think we're about done here," she said before jumping out the roof and gently falling down the side of the building, drifting down it before gliding towards the two, getting in position.

With Sunny on the assault, Sky Jack has a moment to recover his board from off to one side, only partially paying attention to the yelling chef. "Man I already decided it wasn't worth listening to you - whatever you're doing, you're just hurting people, so it's time to end it."

He looks over, seeing the chef lunging at Sunny, and originally intends to dive at him - but then he sees more falling bowls and decides it may be time to race out of the way! Once he's up to speed, it may be impossible for those bowls to catch him - and he does happen to notice movement off to one side. Another magical girl? Looks like it. He raises one hand to Clotho and points at the golden chef. "Keep your head down newbie, this guy's getting out of hand!" He flashes her a grin and continues dodging flying bowls, trying to find an opening to launch an electrically charged soccer ball here and there...

Akane Hino has posed:
The bowls come at Sunny, and she's hurling magic balls at them like it's nothing. "You can't defeat me! I am Cure Sunny!" She calls out, dodging occasionally while moving to get a better vantage spot. "You have no chance of defeating me!" She looks to Jack and says, "Thanks for your advice, but I think we got this!"

Unmei Tama blinked a few times, her eyes going wide and actually, well, if she'd been running she'd have stumbled. As it was, she just kept gliding. She then had to cover her mouth and snorted a little bit. Newbie? Really? He actually thought she was on THEIR side? She came to one of the stands and kind of glides up the wall, landing on top of one of the stands. She then holds out her left hand, palm up. Red thread forms out of one of the rings, lifting up and up and up and forming the outline of a fireball in her hand. A moment later, it turns into an ACTUAL fireball. also, those threads looked relatively familiar. a lot like the ones that had fallen down when the fish men had been destroyed and then--

She sent the fire ball hurtling at Sky jack. "I'm really not interested in you. Just your girl friend," she said with a little smile. If the fireballl hit him, at least it wouldn't burn much. It'd likely just send him tumbling back and get a little singed, not a fatal attempted strike. "So how about you sit this one out?"

The fish cook, unfortunately, doesn't stop. He keeps charging at Sunny, more fish bowls flying at her, but exploding around her. He lifts his filet knife high and tries to bring it down on Sunny's head. Good thing it was magic and not physical.

Jack is still trying to keep most of his attention on the cook, but he looks back after a moment just in time to see Clotho forging something out of those familiar threads - and then it's a fireball. Oh boy.

And then she has his full attention as the fireball zips up at him. With a yelp he grabs the bottom of his board, yanks it up, and spins, hard and fast, deflecting the fireball off and up to one side. "Hey, she's not my girl friend! I don't even know her! But I do know bad guys when I see them - and you just hit the top of the list!" He looks back over at the chef in time to see him moving in on Sunny with a knife - big threat or immediate threat? Immediate. He turns and launches another punted soccer ball at the golden chef, trying to slow him down to give Sunny enough time to dodge or finish him or something! Clotho will have to wait a second and hopefully she doesn't throw any more fireballs....

Akane Hino has posed:
There's no more that can be done unless extreme action is taken, so Akane decides it's time to go all out. She calls forth all of the power of the sunlight and begins to channel it into her hands. "Let the sun shine!" She calls out as she shoots forth a large beam at the enemy. "The sun shall defeat the darkness!"

Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama sighed and crossed her arms, leaning back and kind of... floating/sitting. She held up both hands. This time blue threads shot up from her left hand, gold threads from her right. They molded together to form the little blue soldiers. In a matter of seconds they were finished, then rushing out at the group! Soon there were almost a dozen of them charging down jack, trying to thwap him with their little spatulas. She then held out her left hand, green threads forming this time and creating a... little mini tornado? It shot out at him a moment later, attempting to envelop him and send him scattering down into the little dream soldiers.

And then... Sun's finisher! It strikes the creature, sending it toppling back, crashing to the ground. The golden gem flies up into the air... only to be snagged by one of the threads of Clotho's and pulled to her hands. The boy it had been corrupting fell to his knees, looking unfazed, lightly snoring. She... stared with big, sparkly eyes. "EEEEEE! You see that? THAT'S how a REAL magical girl fights!"

Pin sighed, the little pea cock shaking his head. "Clotho, you're not supposed to... whatever this is, over the enemy."

"What? Oh, come on! It's only my second time out and look, I caught Cure Sunny AND..." Pause. "Her... boyfriend!"

"He did say he wasn't her boyfriend."

"They ALWAYS say they're not their boyfriend. That's like, rule one of magical girl love interests, duh. Besides, this is wayyyyyy cooler than that orange princess girl. Ugh. An actual CURE! Eeeee, next time I might get a full team!"

"Please stop... fan... whatever... this is over the enemy... You have a job to do."

"I can do both!" She then pointed a finger at the cure, grinning. "So, Cure Sunny, I know this is only the first time we've met, but soon you will know my name well. My name is Magical Girl Clotho and, before I am through, you and all your ilk will come to fear me! Ah ha ha ha ha!"

"... So that's why you were practicing that laugh."

"PIN SHUT UP OR I WILL SPAY YOU!"

Kukai Souma has posed:
Jack is occupied trying to keep Sunny in one piece, as the little blue soldiers rush after him. It's all he can do as they start leaping at him to dodge as many as he can, even as one or two latch on. He lets out a yelp and thrashes about, getting some altitude, even as the tornado rushes towards him, catching the edge of his board and sending him spinning rapidly towards one of the nearby rubble piles. "Augh!"

It takes him a few moments while Clotho is busy squee'ing over Cure Sunny to throw the soldiers off to one side, panting and ascending out of their range. With Clotho's attention on the Cure, the annoyance and aches she's inflicted on Sky Jack are encapsulated in a sparking, flashing soccer ball, launched at her with a powerful kick! "Laugh this off!"

Unmei Tama was way too busy being distracted by Sunny and her fighting the soldiers. She only barely looked up in time to see the ball sailing at her. "EEP!" She held out her right hand, the white thread forming and starting to make... something.

But it was too late. The ball hit her square in the chest and sent her hurtling back, sending her crashing through one of the stands. She sat there for a moment, in the wreckage of the stand. Then... "Ow ow ow owwwwwww!" she whined, whimpering. "T-t-t-that hurt!"

The gems across her body, which had been glowing a brilliant gold, were now dimming. "Well, perhaps if you'd spent more time focusing, less time on the cure girl, this wouldn't have happened. You have the gathered magical energy. Let's go."

"S-shut up!" she said, before getting up and wiping her eyes. She totally was NOT crying a little. She pointed a finger at Jack. "Y-you'll regret this! Next time... next time I meet you I... I'm totally going to slam you into the ground! Hard!" she yelled before she started to run away, her soldiers attacking the two of them to try and cover the escape.
