Date of Scene: | 24 December 2016 |
Location: | Plot Room #1 |
Synopsis: | Unmei and Yuzuki's first meeting is somewhat filled with Unmei flail. |
Cast of Characters: | Unmei, Yuzuki Amemori |
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama was sitting off on her lonesome after school. Her clubs had gotten out, which was why she was now waiting. For what? Who knew. It was mostly she didn't feel like going home just yet. It was a bit of a walk, she knew no one was coming to get her, the only way they'd be giving her a ride was if she was going to take over someone again.
She supposed that should be the case. After all, they were paying her for it. But she'd done a bit lately and she just didn't feel up to it. So instead she was sitting on a bench, reading the book from the upcoming play. Not that she needed to. She had like, one line.
Not unexpected, considering how frumpy she looked. They probably didn't want her on stage for long. She didn't exactly have what one would call a stage presence.
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori is out of her own club, she doesn't have a show scheduled and it's end of the week. All of these things means she looks largely relaxed. She's got her heavy duty case slung over her shoulders, headpones around her neck and hood down, though otherwise dressed for the cold. Finally, most of her attenton is taken with texting someone.
Taking a seat at the bench mostly on a whim, she leans back, setting the case up as a rest and leans back while looking at the other girl curiously, "Hey, mind if I take a break here while I wait? Need to find out if I can go help out with a show tonight." She offers the girl what she hopes is a charming smile. It's more of a sleepy one.
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama glanced over and opened her mouth to object. Instead she mumbled out a soft. "N-no problem." She eyed her for a long moment, clutching her book bag to her chest before her gaze lowered back to the street. "Hi. I'm Unmei. Nice to meet you," she said gently.
She was a new girl, from Italy, or so the rumors said. Hadn't really made any friends since arriving, in fact, despite being in three clubs no one could really say they had any idea who she was. She was just kind of... there. Always running off the moment classes were over, never sticking around to socialize. Had been the butt of a few practical jokes so far, though. Which might explain why she doesn't often stick around.
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori offers a bow of her head and settles back against her case, knees together as she stretches out before finally leaning forward. Elbows on her knees, she looks over at Unmei and asks, "Unmei? Nothing else?" Then she pauses, "Huh, kind of like H- I know a couple of people like that. Neat."
5r She starts to change the subject then catches herself and says, "Oh! Oh oh, right! I'm Amemori Yuzuki. Are you waiting for anyone in particular? If you'd like I could wait until they show up!"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama shook her head. "W-what? No! Unmei Tama! I'm new. Sorry. To this country. I-I usually just give my first name." She rubbed the back of her head, her cheeks burning.
Then she was told that and paused. "I... what? Oh. No. I'm not waiting for anyone. I just need to walk home and... I just don't feel like going there right now," she said softly, her eyes lingering on the ground.
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks over at the other girl quietly, considering something before asking, "So you've just moved here? Neat! When did you uh, move here?" She leans forward, resting her elbows on her knees while looking ahead, "I've lived here all my life. Well Japan, not Tokyo, but that's- it's a nice city isn't it?"
She tilts her head at the second admission and asks, "Is something wrong?" Noting the overall down look she's sporting.
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "Yes. About a month or so ago. It wasn't long. I was doing some things before they got me enlisted in school. Paperwork, things like that," she said with a small smile. "I'm new to japan and Tokyo, though." She had a very, very slight accent, hardly noticable at all. And she seemed to speak it fluently.
"What? No! Nothing is wrong! I'm just being lazy, is all."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori nods and grins, "I've only been out of country once. Went to the States and had fun at a convention for technology stuff. Had a lot of fun." She leans back, hands resting on the bench now and stretches her legs out briefly. "Your accent's good, better than my English, but I don't use that often enough to care."
The denial gets a curious look for a few moments before she asks, "You sure?"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "Oh? My english is much better. i've... always been good at picking up languages, though. It's just a talent, i guess. I'm pretty lucky like that. Eh heh." She rubbed the back of her head. "I ummm... So, err, did your club let out?"
"A-and yes. I'm sure. I'm fine, really."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori resists the urge to reach out and patpat the girl while saying, "I'm alright with languages, but I do well with science, which is what I'm happy with. Music too really." She offers a shrug and laughs, "Mostly music these days. The club did let out though, yes yes! But I tend to skip club days to do shows, either on stage or behind the scenes. It's worked out though, yep!"
Then she mentions being okay, which gets a shrug, "Well, if you say so. If you need help with something lemme know, we have to help eachother out right?"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama blinked a few times, then her eyes went wide. "You're a singer? That's... so cool. I bet you have a really pretty..." Paused. "You have a really pretty voice."
'I bet she takes a lot of pride in it...' a voice said in her head.
'No. Don't.'
'But--'
'Not. At. School.' She then blinked. "Have to... help each oth-- OH! You mean like ummm... all girls stick together, right?" She smiled a bit then. "And... girl power, right?"
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head and holds her hands up, "Nonono, no singing for me. I do guitars for actual instruments, bass too. Uh- mostly electronic though." She taps her foot on the ground, then crosses her legs and stretches out again. "All girls? I meant students, people." She looks at her curiously while asking, "Have you been hearing weird rumors about me or something? I don't think I've ever been about just girl power?"
There's a few moments of laughter before she continues, "What do you do for fun?"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama turned scarlet and lowered her gaze again. "O-oh. Right. I guess I just, I mean, i thought... sorry... I... I'm an idiot." She struggled to avoid fleeing the scene. "N-no. Hoenstly, I hadn't heard of you or really... anyone since I arrived here."
She blinked a few times. Fun? what DID she do for fun? "I'm in a few clubs. The... dance, acting and drama clubs. Other than that... I guess I watch tv? I'm still kind of... new. I sometimes play games, too. I guess. Sorry."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks at that blush with some curiosity and begins laughing, "You thought what? Relax relax! I'd think a dancer would have more confidence. Drama too, I hate being on stage, I wear a mask all the time up there. You can't do that so you should be more comfortable, right?" She fishes around in her school bag and hefts out a dust filter math, deep red and splashed with flourescent paint and a pair of sunglasses, "See?" she seems to be enjoying it.
"So... do you have any friends out here Unmei?" She pauses and grins, "Or a-" she pauses, hm. That might be pushing too far. She might think she's being picked on. "Have you been out to Shibuya?"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama shook her head. "No. I'm in the club but... I can't dance at all. Just ask the other girls. I have no center of balance. And... I keep flubbing my lines and I'm not any good at... acting like something I'm not. Honestly it feels like i'm always wearing a mask..."
Then she blinked. "W-what? Ummm, no. Not really. I've met some people but... most of them have turned out to just be making fun of me or... trying to trick me. No. What's Shibuya? Is it where she used to say boo-ya?" she asked with a goofy grin. Oh gosh, puns.
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks confused and asks, "Booya?" Not quite getting the slang pun! She tilts her head and says, "Sorry... I don't get it." before holding her hands up, "I don't know about memorizing lines, but the center of balance I bet we could work. I've been practicing with sw-kendo lately." Sure, that's close enough to kendo right? "I mean, mostly looking at videos online, but I'm looking for a teacher that won't mind me being flakey."
"Oh! Right, Shibuya. It's a district in Tokyo, a lot of stores for fashion and the like! You should totally go there with friends! Pick some cute stuff out!"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama blinked a few times. "O-oh. I... I guess. I'm not really graceful but... I'd... like to try. I guess. It's uhhh... traditional japanese dance. I like the outfits you get to wear. And the fans. They're nice."
And then she said that. Her cheeks couldn't have gotten redder. "I... I'd like to do something like that. I... I do like cute clothes. But I, errr, I'd need to get some... spending money from my folks." Which would likely mean doing more bad things.
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori tilts her head from side to side and asks, "Are you any good with electronics, sound setup or just moving a lot of things around? If you need work." She hesitates, debating if she should say this, "You wouldn't be on stage so you wouldn't have to worry about having your m- having to get up in front of a crowd." She scowls, that was probably mean. How do you even approach offering to help with that sort of thing?
"Oh, oh! Those kinds of dances? Do you have the kimonos for it? I'm pretty sure we could get those going-" beat, "I've always wanted to do taiko drums myself, but that requires even more time than I've got as is. Sometime later, maybe after school."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama blinked a few times. "You mean... like a job? I... I suppose I could do that. But I'd need advance warning. My parents have a lot of..." She struggled to think of the right words. "Family obligations they have me attend." She blushed a little more. "I... I don't mind being in front of crowds. I just... would like more practice first..." Her cheeks were scarlet.
She then nodded. "Yes, actually! I do have a kimono for it! It's a really nice one, too. Though it's new... an older one probably would have been..." She paused and shook her head. "I could show you sometime, if you like."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori twirls her finger and says, "Tell them it's for extra credit at school, I bet we could wing that since it's got some knowhow built into it." Seems she's not above a touch of lying! "Though I guess obligations take priority regardless." She points to the girl's cheeks and says playfully, "Are you sure? You seem so iffy with just me here."
The mention of a kimono gets a nod from her. "Sure, I'd love to see the kimono, I could help with putting your hair up traditionally and the makeup too." There, that's an easy way to handle it, it's part of a tradition! There's a moment of thought then she adds, "If you wnat the help that is for- uh traditional?"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "Oh. As long as I take care of the tasks they give me, they don't care what I do in my spare time." And boy was that the truth. "I-i used to be a really good public speaker! It's just... I used to... know people back then, too. I don't know. It's why I like acting."
Her eyes lit up. "Y-you'd do that? For me?" she asked, staring at her. "I... I never really learned how to do that. I ummm... just... well... Never... they don't really teach it in school..."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori rubs the back of her head and says, "I'm not... a huge fan of it myself honestly. I do use it of course." She taps the side of her head and says, "Stage persona and all, have to be cute and perky! Which, I should try to be more like some of the industrial bands. They don't have to." She shrugs, disregarding that she wears a mask anyway. It's a pride thing!
"Well, anyway! I'm happy to help with that sort of thing." She doesn't say anything directly, but she says, "Maybe we can pick out some new colors and shades in Shibuya too."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nods, grinning. "Yeah. Pretending to be something else is a useful skill to have. Very important. Otherwise people won't... well..." She shook her head. "If you have to pretend to be it to succeed, doesn't that make it worth it?"
"That'd be... nice. I'm not sure if you can tell but I, well... I've never been good at the makeup thing." Oh. No. It was pretty obvious.
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori raises an eyebrow at the pretending statement. "Really now?" she asks, intruding just a moment, "You're not secretly in your thirties and doing a news piece right?" That's a joke. Hopefully. "I don't know, sometimes there are better ways than pretending. Reaching out and taking it, doing it rather than pretending right?"
She doesn't comment directly on the makeup, but says, "I may be able to help out with that too. We'd need some- some more in general though. Blending is part of it."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama chuckled, an odd grin forming on her lips. "Oh, yeah. Sometimes it's... a little fun to just take it. Rather than pretend." She then blinked and shook her head, before giggling. "Forty-three, actually, and it's for a news blog." She said matter of factly.
Then stared. "Blending? What's that? Like... blending in or...?"
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head and says, "I mean I had to tackle my stuff head on to get where I'm at. You can't flop back and forth right?" She twirls her finger and adds, "Mind you, getting into music isn't the same, but it is. A lot of it is luck I figure." Leaning forward, she adds, "Aah, 43, you carry the lines well." Keeping a perfectly straigh face for it!
Then without much hesitation at all, she points and says, "Skin tone mostly. Using less to do more, that sort of thing."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama gave a little snort. "Well, I've always been good at connect the dots." She still lifted a hand up to her face. "Does this mean you're going to ask me to buy you beer? Because, well, could always steal some of my parents. They probably wouldn't care," she said with a smile.
"Less to... do more?" she asked, cocking her head to the side. "Then how do you hide all your flaws if you don't cover them up?"
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head and says, "Connecting the dots isn't the hard part, it's finding out what they mean! Or something. That's deep right?" She shrugs, figuring it's funny enough. "I don't need help stealing beer! The back stage has it if I wanted it. I'm not a fan of it though. Much happier as I am."
She nods and grins, "Yes, you use less to do more." Then she pauses to consider before continuing, "Why would you want to hide all of your flaws? I don't see anything that would warrant that kind of thinking anyway!" There's a brief pause again, "Besides, overdoing things just draws attention right?"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "Deep enough, I suppose." She smiled up at the girl. "I like you as you are, too. I can't stand it either. The taste is just nasty, it's all... blehhhhh."
She blinked a little bit. "I... I guess. I just... I... know I have a lot of flaws I think and i don't really... I'm not sure how to... fix them. And I guess. Sorry... It's... really that bad, isn't it? I keep trying to get better at it but..."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori smiles cheerily, "Good, because I'm not changing!" Not without the help of a long dead samurai and armor anyway. Not that it's the right kind of changing. "The taste isn't the part that I dislike, though it's part of it. I have to be in control, any mistakes sound bad and can damage your career right?" She points to her laptop, "And I don't want to spill it on my laptop."
She gently reaches out to try and poke the girl's forehead and says, "Everyone has flaws, some deeper than others. Almost nothing is so bad that you can't find someone to accept them regardless." There's a beat and she adds, "Even the few examples I can think of- they were accepted actually. Huh."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "I don't know. If I wasn't doing something important, sometimes it feels a little good to juist... let go. Go completely wild and throw caution to the wind. Even if you get hurt for it..."
She blinked a few more times and chuckled. "Yeah. That's... a good thing to believe." She glanced off to the side. "I'm sure most people can be accepted. I'm sure you know a bunch of people who are just... loved." There was a forced smile there.
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head and says, "You should always make sure you're not putting yourself at risk without a good reason." What with her habit of stepping between badguys and all.
She nods and says, "Right though, that's what I mean, everyone has someone out there." She hesitates and laughs, "Even history's greatest monsters did after all and I really doubt you're anywhere close to them." She then suddenly gets a serious look and asks, "Right?" before cracking into laughter
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "But if the reason is good, it's worth it. Right?"
She blinked a few times and looked like she'd been slapped. And then the girl started laughing and she nodded. "Oh. Uhhh. Right. Yes. Someone. Everyone... right... I... I should probably head home. My... parents are probably worried."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks over and says, "I believe so, but good is subjective isn't it?" she rubs the back of her head before adding, "I think so, but I know what I'm willing to do and why."
She looks confused and asks, "Are you alright? I Wasn't trying to call you a monster." She reaches out to nudge the girl and says, "Just have to reach out and try to get in touch with people right?"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded a little. "Y-yeah. Good is subjective. Everyone has their own views on what's good or not... right?" she said softly.
"I just... I..." And reached out a little, then pulled her hand back. "I-I'm sorry. I just... panicked a little bit. No. It wasn't the monster comment..."
'You have me.' Pin said.
'No I don't. I have the gem and the gem has you. You'd toss me aside in a heart beat if there was someone else to wear it.'
There was a snort. 'So judgy.'
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori watches her snatch her hand back and sighs, reaching out to try and catch it to hold it between her hands, offering it a light pat even if she's successful. "Come on, it was a bad joke. I know they're bad, but they dont' usually hurt right?"
She then leans back and looks up. She's idly wondering if Hakuomaru's going to give her crap about this tonight.
"What do you dream of doing? What are you trying to accomplish I mean? Maybe I can help you with that?"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama stared at the hand, now holding her own. It was comforting, at least. And this girl seemed to want to help.
"Dream of doing? I... guess... just..." She stared at the hand and mumbled very softly. "Being... me... I guess." Then blinked. "I mean... I guess... dreams are stupid, you know? Just something you have when you're a little kid. They aren't real. Once you grow up, it's not like you can ever have them. Even if you do get them, there's always some strings attached. It's better to not have any."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks confused at the statement of wanting to be herself, "What do you mean? You're you right?"
She sighs and leans back, uncrossing her legs then crossing them the other way. "Dreams aren't stupid, they're something you should strive for, doing what you have to to take those dreams and make them real right?"
She squeezes the girl's hand and says, "I mean, I'm a DJ because that was my dream, I'm not there yet, so I have to keep trying though."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded slowly. "I guess... dreams just... aren't for people like me. If they make you happy, that's fine. But... I'd just be wasting my time if I had them. Some people just... aren't meant to have dreams. But I don't want to have them. You just end up being heart broken when they don't come true."
"I'm sure you'll achieve yours though! Yours is realistic!"
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head and says, "Dreams are for everyone, if you don't have a dream, you don't have a goal!" She tilts her head from side to side, considering and says, "I mean sure some are silly. But even those have their place. Creativity's always in the weird places of your head I figure. Look at the average mangaka, they're all kinds of strange. I hear one even likes to lick spiders!"
Tapping her fingers on the bench, she considers, then decides for the hammer approach. "Well, what's your dream?"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama stared down at her. She slowly shook her head. She wasn't allowed goals any more. Or dreams. What would be the point? She has a job. She'll either succeed or die trying. Or...
She shuddered suddenly and shook her head. "I told you. I don't have a dream. I don't have a goal. I don't have anything. For me they'd just be a waste of time. I'm only interested in the now. In what WILL happen. Not what I hope will happen. And I already know what'll happen."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head and begins laughing, "Everyone has a dream and you've clearly got one. I promise not to laugh." before she holds her hands up, "Swear on my life." Both of them. "And what will happen then?" She asks curiously, leaning forward to add, "Because I bet you don't know what will happen. You can't know what will happen, that's part of the fun."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama stared down at her, just stared. Then, softly she mumbled. "I'll... a goal? I'll grow up. I'll get a job doing what they say. Then i'll... I don't know. I'll either fail or succeed and... failure isn't really an option." She stared down at her. "It really, really isn't. But if... I don't know. If I could have... anything I wanted?" She asked.
"i guess... it's stupid. It's just stupid. Can we... can we please talk about something else. Please? Anything else?" She sounded like she was going to burst into tears.
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori sighs and shakes her head before leaning back. "Sure sure, we can change the subject." She points though, "It's not healthy to bottle it all up though. Call me if you ever want to talk right?" She punctuates that with a business card pulled from her bag. Handing it over, she adds, "Really, call me if you want to. You'll need this to schedule Shibuya anyway."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded, staring at the card. She then slowly looked back down at her. "So... i mean... you... you're still interested in... being around me?" she asked softly. "Even if I don't do... I mean..." She whiped at her eyes a little bit. "I... I'd like that."
She looked down at the card and then sighed. "Why are you being so nice? I'm not... worth it and... this isn't just... another prank, is it? Get me to lower my guard and then..."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks surprised and says, "Because I think you're being silly in hiding your dreams? That'd be a poor reason to ignore someone clearly in eed of a hug or something." She shrugs and grins, "Great, we'll schedule it for..." she taps her fingers on the bench again, "I've got a job coming up this week, so maybe next?"
The question about her being so nice gets a surprised look, "You're worth it, everyone is. None of that talk now, or uh... I dunno." She shrugs, "Why are you sure everyone's out to mess with you?"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama gulped and then looked off to the side. "I just... I..."
'Don't tell her. If Eclipse finds out, they'll probably do something to her.'
"If... you really wanna know... my dream is... silly and stuff. But... I'd like to meet a real magical girl." Her cheeks burned red. "I-I know it sounds dumb. I mean, they're not supposed to be real, right? But... I hear some of them... are."
She gulped. "And... because... most people do. I mean, I've already had at least three different girls try to 'help' me since I got here. And almost got arrested thanks to their little pranks once..."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori drums her fingers again and says, "That's it? Just hang around long enough, you're bound to run into a few I'm sure." She then catches herself and sas, "I mean, maybe? If they're out there that is." She shrugs and murmurs, "Going to catch it for that." A quick shake of her head later and she adds, "How did you almost get arrested?"
She gives Unmei a rather scrutinizing look, "You didn't try to like, fake a monster attack right?" Beat, "Or whatever they are." She's kind of bad at subtle.
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama shook her head. "NO! Of course not! I'd never fake something like that!"
'What'd be the point? You can make a real one.'
'Shut up.' "Some of the girls told me about this old abandoned house and, ummmm, t-they dared me to knock on the door since it's haunted and... it wasn't haunted. But they ditched me and the lady who owned it was extremely terrifying. I thought she was a vampire or something. Then there was the other time some other girls dared me to sneak into the restricted section in this shop and then locked me in the room, using a chair to block the door. I... managed to talk my way out of it, thoguh."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori taps her chin and says in a barely audible undertone, "I don't know any vampires in the a-I don't know any rumors of any vampires here. I heard rumors about big scary monsters and samurai though. Ninjas too." Well she's being honest wtih that at least. Tilting her head to the side, "Who locked you in there? If I know them, I'll... find a fun way to scare them. That was beyond the line of teasing I figure."
She then shakes her head, "But no, that's not my intention, not at all. I'm just a student here, just a student."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded, then lowered her eyes. "That's not really necessary. They got in trouble, too. I let the people know what happened..."
Pin's laughter echoed in ehr head. 'Vengeance felt fun, didn't it?'
'A little...' She then paused. "Wait, what? Scary monsters? Samurai? Ninjas? I think you might be reading too many books. Those things aren't real these days. And the monsters... well, maybe those are. If magical girls are. Okay. I... I'm happy you're my friend now and... and whenever you like and are able. I'll make the time."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori huffs and starts to say something about, "Of course we exist" but she catches herself well short and says, "I've seen them thank you. Even if they were maybe cosplayers." Or reincarnated dead guys. Hakuomaru thinks it's great! "Just give me a call when you need something though, even if you are making fun of my samurai stuff!"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama stared, then shook her head. "N-no! I wasn't making fun of them! I just mean like... there's no such thing as a modern samurai. Outside of costumes and plays and stuff. I mean, what would be the point? A sword isn't really going to stand up against magic or guns or anything like that, right?"
'HEY! Clotho's sword is AWESOME!'
'It's also magic. Duh.'
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori offers a quick shrug, "The one I saw had a huge black sword." and a pair of flintlocks, but she's going for plausible deniability. Also she's probably more infamous for using those than her sword by now. That's not the point! "H-hey Samurai used a lot of other weapons, usually avoided the sword because it was a good way to die!" As she well knows!
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "Yeah, but a cosplayer's sword is hardly an effective judge of a good weapon," she said with a little giggle. "I've seen them with giant swords the size of their bodies. Made of styrafoam. Besides, samurai's make fun story focuses, but a katana and their armor wasn't really that good. They just had a lower grade of metal is all. A katana would be really easy to break, a lot easier than a long sword." Oh my gosh she was a knight fan.
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head and says, "I don't think it was a cosplayer, really!" She then shrugs and adds, "It's not a katana either, too small. I don't know why she'd use it." Or why he used it. She has her theories, number one of which is alcohol and silliness.
"Any sword's easy to break, most people can't weild them properly anyway."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. 'Isn't that the truth. I used to larp back in my old home. People were always closing their eyes whenever they took a swing. I mean, how can you even see when you're doing that? The first few times, but come on!"
She then blinked. "Errrr... but yeah, cosplaying is fun. I used to try it. And you think this was a real samurai?"
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head and says, "I dont' know though, I bet those samurai would be a good match for anyone else out there." Mostly because she's gotten into fights with other things and knows!
"I haven't done much in the way of cosplay honestly, but I've done other things."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "i haven't cosplayed since coming here, though. Not much of a... well... I guess the acting club is kind of like cosplay. We didn't have clubs like that, back home." She then looked her up and down. "Yuzuki... have you met a magical girl?" she whispered.
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori shakes her head and says, "I don't think I've met them, I may have met some odd people though." She holds her hands up and adds, "I know some people who swear they know them, but nothing more."
She grins after and quickly changes the subject, "As for the acting club, that's not quite cosply since it's done for an audience rather than- well I guess cosplay is an audience thing too isn't it?"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded, grinning. "Well, I hope I can meet some eventually. I..." She sat back down. "I just... I admire them so much. I have dozens of magical girl toys and I am on all the major sites and they're just so amazing and lucky!"
She then nodded. "Oh, it is! And I really like some of the outfits. I wish I could be one of the girls wearing some of the prettier things but, well, I'm the new girl and all..."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori rolls her shoulders and pats her computer case, "So what kind of magical girls are you actually expecting anyway? I mean not all of them are the bright pink dresses and jewelry lasers!" What, she takes pride in her own brand of magic!
She looks confused after some thought and asks, "Why don't you wear those kinds of clothes? Save up and buy them!"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama giggled. "i don't know. Any, really. I mean... a lot of them are so cool. Like Sailor moon or the cures. I think I almost saw one of the cures, once. I'd wanna get their autographs."
She then coughed. "W-well, I'd like to. I mean... I don't really get an allowance and my current parents already do so much for me. I can't ask them for something extra like that. They got me some clothes that fit and that was really the extent of what I think they're willing to do."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori tilts her head side to side while murmuring, "I think I've met a cure or two" before catching herself, "I've heard of the cures, I don't know the other one." stretching her arms above her head, she adds after, "You could ask around, someone could probably get some signatures."
She then looks confused about the response, "Well, we'll get you working with us and get you something like that then."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama sighed. "I'd want to do it myself. In person. Cause otherwise... well, someone will jsut lie and say they got them. Besides, meeting them would just be amazing. Someone who is special like that. Unique..."
She nodded. "Well, if you're okay with me working with you, okay. I'm kind of good with electronics and stuff. I'll try my hardest."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks over and shrugs again with a faint smile, "I think most like to keep their lives separate hence the whole secret side. I'd just take it at face value, I bet most are pretty nice right?"
She nods quickly though after, "Great, because I have to do a lot of setup and it's a pain, but it pays well for how short the jobs are!"
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama nodded. "Yeah. That's why I'd like to meet their magical sides, not their mundane sides. Those should definitely be kept secret. Otherwise bad people could find them and try to use them!"
She then nodded. "Short and good pay? That sounds great! I can use that! So, what all would I need to do?" She inched a little closer to the girl, smiling to her. "I've never actually done a concert before."
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori rubs her chin and says, "I'd probably have you helping me carry things around, probably doing the sound tests too. Always need help with those. Beyond that, I don't know, we'd have to ask."
Glancing over, she notes the inching forward quietly, though smiles while saying, "Their magical sides are probably easier to catch, they're flashy enough aren't they?" Fingers drum on her laptop case before she adds, "What kind of music do you listen to, may need headphones if yo're not a fan."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama grinned to her. "I can do that! Well, as long as things aren't too heavy, I can do it. I'm not really the strongest but I can lift a little bit. Just a little bit, though."
She nodded. "Exactly. And besides, if you knew who they were, the allure would die, right?"
'And then you'd know your enemies...'
'They aren't really my enemies. They're just... not my allies.'
'And trying to stop you.'
She turned a little red before opening her mouth again. Then there was a ring. She paused and pulled out her phone. It was black, with a silver U on it. "Hello? Oh! Uhhh, of course. I'll be there soon. Of course. I--" She then cringed and closed the phone. "It was great meeting you, Yuzuki. I hope you can meet later. For... for the shopping... right?"
- Yuzuki Amemori has posed:
Yuzuki Amemori looks confused and asks, "Why would the allure die? They're the same person either way right? Most want to help." She stands up, brushing herself off before hefting her heavy duty case over her shoulder. "The strength thing shouldn't matter, a lot of it is just awkward. We have other people to help with the super heavy lifting.'
She adjusts the strap of her case and waits patiently for the phonecall to end before continuing, "Yeah, yeah yeah we'll go shopping after that right? Should be a fun day trip."
- Unmei has posed:
Unmei Tama starts to walk off... then stopped. She stood there and quivered for a moment, her hands clenched at her side. She then turned around and wrapped her arms tightly around the other woman, hugging her. "Thank you. For everything. You're... so, so nice to me. Thank you."
She'd then pull back and flee!
