Visiting the demon

Synopsis:	Sakura went to visit Mara and discovered something... troubling. Just what was a grief cube? and how could she get her hands on one?

Mara Brando has posed:
    It is a couple of days after Christmas, but there was still someone that never hit that holiday spirit level. Of course, she lives along, and seems to be eating cup ramen(her favorite food) at the moment. This individual is Mara Brando.

    Mara is sitting at her kotatsu with her left arm in a sling. Of course, there is a grief seed sitting next to her cup of ramen, and it is likely used a bit. She had disposed of the other one that Kunzite had given her as it was used up. Covering her left eye is a black eye patch and there wasn't anything fancy about it. There was a bit of a scar coming from under and above the eye patch. The scar still looked a little fresh, and Mara is definitely not scared to show it either. She still has her blond hair pulled back so that eye patch is in full view.

    SLURP! Mara takes a few noodles and chews a bit before swallowing them. "Ahh... Spicy beef cup, oh how you are my true love... hehe..." She smiles a bit and continues eating.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto hummed happily as she trotted up to the door, gently reaching out and knocking on it, a big smile on her face. Somehow, possibly through tomoyo's amazing hacking skills, she'd discovered where Mara lived. Which led to her standing outside the door, in an adorable santa claus outfit, with her christmas treat for mara held firmly in hand. A hand made fan and cookies!

She leaned forward and gave a second knock. "Mara-chan? It's me! Sakura!" she called out. "Hello? Are you home?" She swayed happily from side to side. She couldn't wait to see her friend! Her new friend who was totally one of her favorite people ever because now they were best friends forever!

Mara Brando has posed:
    Mara smiles happily as she slurps up some more noodles, but then hears someone knocking at her door. She blinks a couple of times, and moves from that warm kotatsu. She moves to stand up, then swallows the noodles she just slurped. She makes her way over to the door, and opens it wide open..

    Mara blinks a couple of times, staring down at Sakura. She just stares for a moment, "Are you stalking me now?" She tilts her head to the side, but doesn't really make a big deal out of it. She steps to the side to let Sakura in, "Come in out of the cold since you aren't anything like me." She doesn't seem upset at Sakura's visit, just maybe a little surprised. Of course, she is holding the door open with her right hand since her left is in a sling, healing just a little quickly, but is also letting her body do it's job at the same time.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto hakes her head. "Oh, not at all! If I was stalking you, I'd just come into your house, silly!" She then trots inside happily, a little skip in her step. She then turned to her and... "Merry Christmas!" she said happily, holding out the gift. "Sorry it took so long to get it to you. I hope you like it, it's all home made!" she said proudly. "My daddy and big brother helped me do it, but I did all the real work myself!" she said proudly.

"I wanted to thank you for helping me and ummm... to... apologize... for the card."

Mara Brando has posed:
    Mara shuts the door after Sakura comes skipping into her apartment. She then turns to look at Sakura and the Christmas preset. She sighs a little bit, then smiles softly. "Th.. thanks.." She reaches out with her good arm to take it, looking at it for a moment. "So... Is this why you came here?"

    Mara shakes her head at Sakura's apology, "Why the heck are you apologizing to me when I tried to kill you?" She seems a little confused about this concept, and it definitely shows on her face.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded. "Uh huh! Well, and I wanted to make sure you were okay. I mean, you got hurt because of me and all. If I hadn't let that card out in the first place..." She lowered her eyes, then blinked.

"Oh, that? Well... that was in the past, right? We're friends now! And what kind of friend would I be if I let a little thing like that get to me?" She then pushed forward and gave her a big hug. "Besides, you got hurt because of me! Really, really, really hurt! So right now you need, more than anything, friends to be by you and help cheer you up. Right?" She held on, practically radiating love and kindness.

Mara Brando has posed:
    Mara just stares at Sakura with that look that just says, 'Really?' She shakes her head a little bit, "No.. I don't think that is what I am getting at... what I was trying to say was that there is no reason for you to be apologizing to me. Also, I was chasing you and trying to kill you."

    Mara sighs a bit as she is hugged, "Sakura, if you keep that personality up, someone is going to take advantage of you... Which is what happened to me a few years ago.. I have no intention of doing that, because I know what it is like."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked and stared up at her. "Huh? Oh, but that was then. You don't want to kill me now, right? That was mean Mara-chan. But you're nice Mara-chan now!" she said matter of factly. "Besides... I don't think you were really that bad. I mean, you never chased Tomoyo-chan, right? You only picked on me because I had powers, right? So... I think you were holding back."

She then opened her mouth, before her face fell. "Someone... took advantage of you?" and then the hug tightened. "I'm so, so sorry. Do you want to talk about it? Is there anything I can do to help? M-my magic is getting a lot stronger! It really, really is! Maybe I can help you out of it?"

Mara Brando has posed:
    Mara closes her eyes for a moment, then shakes her head a bit. "No.. I can't let you do that, because that would involve traveling to the past. As far as I am concerned, that isn't possible, and if it is possible, it is likely frowned upon." She pushes Sakura away, "Come sit."

    Mara turns to walk to her kotatsu to have a seat to where her cup ramen is at, then goes back to eating. She had set her present down next to her when she moved to sit down. "I am a bad person, because of my actions though."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked, then sighed. "Kero-chan says when I get really strong I'll be able to go back to the past." She paused. "But... that altering things in the past could cause disaster and... ruin so much. So I can't. I'm sorry."

She sits down, listening and eyes her. "Okay." Then that smile returned. "But... I don't agree. You can have been one. You might have been one. But... that doesn't mean you are one." She reached out and put a hand over her. "I... I made mistakes, too. I've made a lot of mistakes. But daddy always says, it doesn't matter how badly you mess up. As long as you keep trying to fix them. I mean..." She lowered her gaze."I set the cards free. If I hadn't released them, you wouldn't have gotten hurt. So many... others wouldn't have gotten hurt. But... that doesn't mean I have to just focus on my mistake, right? Instead, I have to focus on the future! On what I'll do! And I'm going to gather up all the cards, every last one, so they can all be with their friends forever!"

Mara Brando has posed:
    Mara sighs a little bit, "No.. Can we just drop this subject all together?" She doesn't answer any of Sakura's questions or make comments on any of her statements. "So... What did you bring me?" She motions down to the present she got from Sakura as she gets back to work on her ramen.

    Mara seems pretty contention with eating the ramen at the moment, but she is still listening.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded. "Right, sorry. I won't pry if you don't want me to," she said, giving her heart felt smile. Then, after a moment, reached out and patted her hand. "But... Mara-chan? If anyone ever tries to take advantage of you again... or... if you ever need help, or are in trouble, just call me, okay? I'll come running no matter what!" she said happily, giving her that gentle smile.

She then glanced to the gifts, her eyes sparkling. She made lil fists with her hands, under her chin, and stared. "G-go on! Open them! They're jsut for you!" All wrapped up all pretty.

Mara Brando has posed:
    Mara shrugs a little bit, "I don't think I am going to work for Miss White anymore at least.." She sighs a bit, and looks down to the presents. "Right.."

    Mara finishes her ramen, and then scoots back from the table a little bit as she pulls the present into her lap. She neatly undoes the wrapping and tilts her head to the side some. "This is..?" She blinks a couple of times.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked a few times, nodding. "Oh. Who's miss white? If you're looking for a job, I might know a girl who can help! I'll be working in Haruna's coffee shop, maybe you can work there, too?"

She smiled when it was opened. "A hand fan and chocolate chip cookies!" Both were obviously hand made. Sakura was getting to be a decent cook! Only a few were burnt. And the fan was... well, it would function, but it was obviously hand made.

Mara Brando has posed:
    Mara looks inside of the package to see the cookies, and the hand fan. She just blinks a couple of times, but not only that... "The bag... I mean... Isn't my style, but it is still nice.." She looks to Sakura, "Thanks." She sets it off to the side and relaxes a bit.

    "My parents give me money for my basic needs, but the kind of employment I am looking for is more or less for what Kunzite had given me. I need grief cubes to keep on living, Sakura. If I don't have them, eventually I will vanish from existence."

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto gasped, her eyes going wide. "W-what? No! You can't!" she shrieked, practically lunging over the table to grab her hand. "You can't you can't you can't!" she yelled, shaking her head. "W-we only just became friends a-and I don't want to lose you now!"

She then blinked and quickly sat down, her cheeks burning. "I-I mean... well... ummm..." She stared at her for a long while, then slammed her hands down on the table, a look of determination on her face. "Okay then. How do we get these grief seeds, then?"

Mara Brando has posed:
    Mara sighs a little bit, "It would be best if you didn't worry about how to get those... The monsters you have to hunt to get them are way too dangerous for you.." She stares at Sakura while her hands are being held. "This is coming from me, and trust me when I say that I don't want you worrying about them."

    Mara then smiles some, "So.. Would you like some cup ramen?"

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto nodded, blinked. "O-oh. If... if you're sure." The look on her face spoke volumes. she would be looking for them. Oh joy. Wasn't this going to be an absolute delight? How could someone like Sakura hunting wraiths end poorly?

She nodded. "Oh, yes, that'd be nice! Something warm and tasty," she said happily. "And I could have you over for dinner sometime, too! Would you like to come?"

Mara Brando has posed:
    Mara stands up and goes to one of her cabinets and grabs out a cup of ramen.. It was beef, but it definitely isn't spicy. She then gets out a tea kettle and puts some water in it before putting it on her stove.

    Mara looks over to Sakura at the kotatsu. "I'm not sure that would be a good idea.. Heh.." She looks back to the tea kettle as she just stands there, waiting for water to boil.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto shakes her head. "Oh, it'll be fine. My daddy is usually okay with me having guests over! Oh, but my big brother will be there. He's awful. But yukito-sempai might be there..."She gives a love struck sigh. "Yukito... you'll love him. He's so kind and sweet and amazing and just wonderful..." Her cheeks were cupped, she was a little flushed and wiggling in place.

Mara Brando has posed:
    Mara stares at Sakura for a few moments as she listens to the girl. "Your brother is probably just showing you some brotherly love.. I'm sure he means nothing by it.." She shrugs her shoulders a bit at her reaction to this Yukito-person.

    Mara looks back at the tea kettle just as it starts to whine a bit, and pulls it off the electric burner, then pours some of the water into the cup ramen that she grabbed for Sakura.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto snorted. "Ugh. Trust me. My brother is the ABSOLUTE worst. No redeeming qualities AT ALL." Then paused. "Well... okay. He did help me with the fans. But he made me do the laundry for a FULL WEEK for it. A week! He only spent twenty minutes showing me this! He's so selfish."

She would happily take it when it was time, and almost immediately... "Ow! Owie..." burn herself.

Mara Brando has posed:
    Mara watches Sakura take it a bit immediately, "Give it some time, I'm sure the noodles inside the cup aren't ready yet.." She sighs a bit, "Also, your brother sounds like a smart person." She grins a bit as she moves to sit down at the kotatsu. She is just teasing Sakura at the point, curious as to what Sakura will say about her brother.

Sakura Kinomoto has posed:
Sakura Kinomoto blinked, then scowled. "No! He's not! He's mean and nasty! he calls me a monster all the time! And he's always hugging Yukito-sempai's time! And he's just the meanest meanest meanest!" she kind of hopped in place as she spoke.

"Ugh, he's just the worst big brother eye!"
