Spells and Alliances
Date of Scene:	10 January 2017
Location:	Uminari City - Midori-Ya Cafe
Synopsis:	Yuuki goes to the Midori-ya to work on a shiny new spell and have a chat with Nanoha about a team up with Miss White.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
School is back in session and out for the day. Yuuki has been wantint to talk with Nanoha a little. She knew that once word got out about this unlikely alliance she was going to hear it. Its just one of those things though.

So is she ducking her friend? No. She's actually at the Midori-ya! Whats more she is atually working her butt off. To the untrained eye, she's doing math homework. To those that know, Its something far more intense. She is writing out a mathematical formula. Quietly she sits there writing. She has a cup of cider in front of her and a pair of eclairs in front of her. She doesn't say a thing. That doesn't mean she isn't communicating...

Quietly her mind races. Shining Star is speaking to her mind and the two are working together to create something that looks like a really nasty attack.

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi isn't helping in the bakery today! Nope. She instead is doing work busily. School is back in session and ugh! Elementary school may not have a lot of tests but she needs to make up for things. Things that she missed because magical happenings.

Also. She's ducking her friends.

Who keep wondering.

Sometimes you gotta keep a secret.

Mom lets her know that her friend is here and she bounds down the stairs, Yuuno on her shoulder. "Hi Yuuki-chan!" she smiles. A pause.

"Are.. you okay?" she asks quietly. "You seem to be doing much better!"

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro blinks a few times as she looks up, "Oh Umm. Hello Nanoha-chan!" She smiles and waves a little. Her attention is very divided. "I am umm... trying to do better. After everything I just feel really worried. I've been trying to find that problem. No luck. Its disappeared."

She makes a face and just looks at her paperwork.

"I could use another pair of eyes on this. It's a math problem I've been working on. I Think I've almost got it but Its my first time doing a problem like this on my own." Translation from Yuukeese = I am working on my first real spell and I need some help.

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi nods. "I'm worried too. That thing is very stealthy." she says softly. "We never know where it is until it's done hurting someone." she says quietly. "But we'll stop it." she says with a curt matter of fact nod.

She head tilts. Ah. 'Math'. She smiles.

"Do you need help?" she asks. "I'm still learning 'math' myself." she says. "-and I've done a lot already!" she says.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro looks at Nanoha and nods. "So umm. I had a run in with Miss White." She whispers. "She offered to help find it. To work together to find it." She winces and braces herself.

She smiles, "yes Its really tricky. If I can solve this math problem, it will have a really good result!" She smiles. Part of her wanting to just barrier the place but, ya can't just do that all the time, Right?"

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi frowns, yup. That made her frown. "I don't trust Miss White." she says. "She'll help us. But then she'll steal the Lost Logia for her own gain at the end. That's the kind of person she is." she says softly.

"As long as we can prevent that, I guess.. It can't hurt." she mutters.

No, you can't just barrier all the time, alas! It'd be neat if you could though.

She thinks. "What has you stumped, with it?" she asks.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro shakes her head, "She wants it destroyed. It hit someone close to her." She frowns. Her voice is very low. "I showed up too late to stop it I tried to use my strongest attack on the thing and it just vanished. She was there. It was someone really close to her that got hurt by it." She sighs softly. "It was really bad."

She then goes back to the paper she's writing. "I think I almost got it. If This is right, This attack is going to be very strong." She begins going through the equation. It doesn't take a lot to realize that this attack, if it hits could do some serious damage.

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi had to help her parents with a catering gig that night and it wasn't easy for her to get away- nor could she deal with the guilt of leaving her parents high and dry. Leaving Arisa and Suzuka in the dust was one thing, family was another thing entirely.

She continues to frown. "I don't know." she says. "I still don't like it. If it didn't hurt her friend. I'm sure she'd still want to steal it." she says.

She sighs a bit and shakes her head.

"Anyways. Don't be afraid to experiment!" she smiles. "Virtual Sims exist for a reason, you know. And push comes to shove you can always experiment in a barrier so if it explodes dramatically it isn't hurting anyone except yourself!" she says.

Yuuno nods matter of factly. MMhmmm.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro blinks a few times. "I didn't even think to do that!" She is still trying to keep her voice down. "I hope it doesn't blow up like that but, I guess I am going to need to test it I guess. I think I might do that. I guess I will have to do that on my own though. I would hate for anyone else to get hurt." She thinks a few moments. "Yeah I will do that later on. I think this is close."

She then goes quiet. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." She blushes a little. "My enemy right now is that lost logia. Its going to really hurt someone if we don't find it soon. I hope it doesn't but... Ugh!"

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi nods. "Yeah, you can do it on your own just fine! Make some targets and practice it and test it on those." she says softly as she head tilts. She sighs a bit and head tilts. "If you say so Yuuki, I just hope we're not making a mistake by involving her." she says.

"She just seems. In it for the money or.. things. All the time." she frowns. "Besides, I'd be worry about the company she keeps. Riventon for one. Another powerful mage who uses some sort of dark energy magic." she says softly.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro frowns, "I don't know who he is. I never met him. But I know I spoke with her. We disagree with what should be done with it after its captured but, The main thing right now is to capture it and to make sure it doesn't hurt anyone else. She wishes to have her company study it and then seal it away. I want to get it to someone with the TSAB. At least with the TSAB we know they know what to do with it, even if they are trapped on Earth."

She looks at her work. "I think this will work." She hmmms. "Shining Star says it has potential to be a high level attack." She blushes.

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi blinks. "But you said that she wanted it destroyed." she says with a frown. "See." she sighs. "It needs to be sealed, at the very least. But then it needs to either get into protective hands, or destroyed. I know Lindy-san can help with that..." she says.

"The TSAB is supposed to be good at keeping stuff locked up like that." she manages to say with a straight face.

She head tilts. "Attacks aren't what's powerful. You can know a high ranking spell but not be able to use it without knocking yourself unconcious because your Linker Core is only C-rank." she says with a series of nods.

"...Shining Star. Did teach you. About your Linker Core." she says.

"Right?" she asks.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro sighs and rubs the back of her head. She looks at Shining Star and flicks the device. "This is something I sorta need to know!" She sighs, "It didn't teach me about it yet. She says that she was going to teach me when I went to try this attack." She sighs. The girl holds he head in her hands as she looks around.

She sighs, "That would explain why Starfield Barrier knocked me out. It withstood your attack but I couldn't handle the spell." She frowns. "I'm still learning though. I think maybe I could use that spell again and not pass out from it though." She smiles a little. "I'm starting to understand how the magic works and how it feels when casting it." She smiles.

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi sort of facepalms. "That's... basic." she says softly. "Your Linker Core is. It's like a magical organ inside of you. It's the source of your mana, and it's what 'processes' a spells calculations for you, so you can cast it." she says softly. "It also feeds into your device." she says.

"But basically, It'll also determine your magical potential, which is split into ranks." she says. "According to Yuuno anyways." she says.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro hmms, "Well I guess I am going to find out what my potential is." She blushes a little. "I have no idea though. I guess I'm a little nervous about it though." She laughs nervously.

She finally takes a bite of her Eclairs. "Mmmmmm These are always so yummy!" She beams and washes it down with some of her cider. "Ahh better."
