The needs of the Many...

Location:	Mitakihara - Residential District
Synopsis:	Nanoha finds Yuuki doing some intensive training. The discussion arises over what has happened to Sakura and how they need to approach things.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
A small chunk of the Mitakihara Residential district is covered in a Barrier. To the common person, its just another day. To someone magical in nature... Its there and there is something going on. In fact someone is using a good deal of magic.

< Sister I understand you are angry but this is not helping you. >

Yuuki has been pushing hard. She's been training since school let out. The training program is starting to look like a warzone. "Shining Star, I don't care. Bring out a stronger enemy." She states as she twirls the naginata that is Shining Star at the moment.

As the simulated creature appears, She attacks with fury. Striking at it fiercely with the wicked blade. She quickly calls out. "Heavenly bind!"

< Heavenly Bind. > Immediately magic wraps around the creature locking it in place.

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi has not been having a good week. Fate attacked her. For a Lost Logia. For her mother. The same mother she ran away from not that long ago. She remembers meeting Fate at a Virtue dance. She remembers talking to her about what a /party/ was. Because Fate had never been to a /party/ before.

Then she does what has to be done. A Lost Logia cannot be made a friend. A Lost Logia does not understand words. They actually /saw/ the thing, which is more than the other times. She and Yuuno couldn't find it after. It managed to somehow phase through the Earth.

Then Fate walks into her family's bakery. For a cake. For her mother. Nanoha of course, decorate that cake. She decorated it with more determinaton than ever. Part of her hoped that she could make the cake so lovely and imbue it with enough love and care that it'd make Precia see the errors of her ways. This was not going to happen. She knew so. But she could hope really bad.

She'd decided she had to face Yuuki eventually- so she decided to be proactive and find her way toward's her district through the air. Nanoha wasn't shy about using her power to fly across town to visit a friend. That's why she had the power. To use it- and transport was not a frivilous use of her abilities.

She can sense a barrier. She blinks and she rockets toward's it. Her first instinct is that someone is in danger and fighting.

She arrives into.. Yuuki. Fighting simulations. She takes a relived breath.

"Yuuki!" she calls out.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
"Solar Rend!" Yuuki Cries as magic builds around her. Shining Star echos the words and The spell goes off. Magic engulfs the Naginata as she unleashes a violent barrage of slashes leaving the simulated creature little more then a pile of holographic waste.

< Very Good Sister. Now I suggest you take a break. >

"Not likely." Yuuki hears the familiar voice. Quickly she flies up to see Nanoha. "Hello." The look on her face is rather blank at the moment. "How can I help you?" She asks as she gives a smile. Its a fake smile. "I was just doing some training. Ya know, I tried to seal the logia the other day but. I wasn't fast enough. I guess I just need to improve."

< Greetings Nanoha. Sister has been pushing herself for the past two days... >

Yuuki rolls her eyes. "Gee thanks Shining Star. I like the idea of everyone knowing what I'm up to. Don't you?" She sighs. "Sorry Nanoha-san. I'm just a little frustrated."

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi floats toward's Yuuki and then lets herself land on top of a house as she settles down on her feet. She nods a bit. "Well, Shining Star just cares." she smiles. This one is genuine. "Raising Heart lets me know when I'm overdoing it." she says softly.

She frowns. "Are you okay?" she asks softly.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki looks over at Nanoha. Her gaze screams, do you really need to ask that question. She frowns and looks down for a moment. "Shining Star, Set up another enemy. I need to get stronger."

Shining Star does not react. < Sister, you are going to hurt yourself if you keep going. Please take a break. >

The violet clad girl slams the naginata staff into the ground. "Tell you what Shining Star, When one of your friends is a crying mess because you opted to listen instead of trying to stop stuff from going bad you can take breaks. I can't right now." Steps away for a few moments.

"So whats your plan, Nanoha-san? Just let Sakura-chan a wreck while we continue hunting this dumb thing or are we going to actually try to help her? Assuming she will even listen to us now."

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi frowns. "I'll visit Sakura." she says. "But that thing doesn't listen, Yuuki. You can't reach out to a Lost Logia like that. You can't convience it to stop. It's going to continue to do what it did to you, and to Hannah's friend and to Sakura again and again until it's stopped." she says.

"It's /always/ going to pretend to be your dad, or sakura's mom or whatever went on with Miss White." she says. "- and we need to prioritize stopping that over making sure the person is okay because it's not like talking to her beforehand changes the fact it's an illusion from an awful device." she frowns. "The person will still be okay after that fact." she says softly.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki whips around and looks at Nanoha. "I wasn't trying to convince the stupid Logia to do anything! I know what it does! I was under it remember?! I was trying to convince Sakura of what was going on! I was trying to wake her up. What you did was not only rip her out of that illusion, you obliterated her MOM in that illusion. Nanoha-san, think about it! Imagine if you didn't know what was real and someone came in unannounce and killed your mom!" She frowns and shakes her head.

"Nanoha-san, Sakura's mother is dead. As in her real mother. Not the nasty thing. She's a friend and now I don't know if there is anything I can do to help her. I tried to snap her out of it. I tried but I didn't have enough time." She sighs.

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi frowns. "But it wasn't. It was an illusion, and I used my sealing attack to disperse it and disrupt the Lost Logia." she says. "She was going to be upset when she realized it wasn't her mother- and during that time we'd had lost the Lost Logia in the time that took." she says.

"You saw it, right? That's the closest we've been to getting a good bead on it. We need to act faster next time." she says.

"Because as it stands we're making a choice between making sure someone is okay being an illusion or stopping the Lost Logia but not both. It is possible to stop the Logia first THEN make sure the person is okay, because the one constant is that it's ALWAYS an illusion." she says.

"And more pressing is someone else getting ahold of it before we can seal it ourselves." she says.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro frowns, "I blasted it. The time before this. We snapped the person out of the illusion and I got a shot off at it before it vanished. It didn't do anything. My strongest attack wasn't strong enough. Its why I've been working on getting stronger. I don't want to have this all happen again." She sighs.

Her gaze drops for a few moments. "I know how important stopping this thing is. I've been looking for it whenever I can. I know how important it is. But I also know that I have a friend who needs a lot of help because rather then trying to help the person we attacked the Logia. Which has to come first?"

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi frown. "The Lost Logia."

< The Mission. > says Raising Heart.

She shakes her head. "Not a Mission, but that's important." she says. "Your friend will be okay. Things take time. This was going to take time regardless of wether we handled the Lost Logia first or second." she says.

"Because that's going to keep happening again and again and again." she says. "Until it's stopped."

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro frowns. She shakes her head. "Yes it's going to keep happening. How many more broken people are going to be left in, your wake in your goal to take down this Logia. I have reason for wanting it taken out but I don't want to see my friends and other innocents getting so badly hurt while we are at it. We need to find a way to balance this out."

She frowns. "You know how I managed to recover as quickly as I have? Because You and Sakura took the time to get me to see the truth. That was a courtesy I gave the other person this thing affected. Its one that was denied to Sakura-chan." She shakes her head, "We can't sacrifice people for that thing."

Nanoha Takamachi has posed:
Nanoha Takamachi frowns. "We need to come up with a way to handle both then because we can't waste time handling the Logia, but if you think we also need time to speak to the victim first then fine. But the Logia needs the priority." she says softly.

The classic argument. Needs of the many? Or Needs of the few?

There's never an easy answer.

"I'll get ready to visit Sakura soon." she says?

She looks down to her device for a moment then back up. "Erk, that's Yuuno calling. Mom just realized I wasn't in bed-sorry!" she suddenly says with wide eyes and then she begins to rocket back towards the direction of Midori-ya.

Yuuki Oshiro has posed:
Yuuki Oshiro nods to Nanoha. "Okay. Be safe." She states before looking at Shining Star. "Lets go home, Shining Star. You get your wish. I am going to go take a break." She sighs and powers down. The barrier fades and Yuuki quietly makes her way towards her home.
