Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
Late saturday evening, a lot of folks were out at different places, doing fun, teenager things. Hanging out with friends, going to the movies, having fun. Eilam? Well, he's having a bit more of a sedate time, seated in his manor by himself at the moment inside of the lounge room. The lounge itself was straight inside the manor to the far left, the only indication anyone was even there through the closed doors was the faint sound of someone playing a piano. Nothing classical, though. Despite Eilam sitting on a rather comfortable-looking chair that was largely designed with his needs in mind, the light-weight thing allowed him to sit comfortably but not have to worry about any discomfort that may come with the more classical 'hard' surface of benches.

The song was not classical in the least, though, instead it was a modern piece from... a videogame? Well, he did have his more low-energy hobbies and he'd found himself enjoying games and stories he could play along at his own pace. Plus the music was fairly different from everything he'd come to know as music over the years, having it change so much since the 1900's came about. Well, no reason to stay with the old with so many new things to try and enjoy.
On top of the grand piano was a monitor that had sheet music, presumably that he was playing from. His attire was fairly relaxed today, however. A pair of brown slacks and a pastel green dressy shirt. A bit of a garish color, but he didn't mind, given he tended to dress for his own likes.
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana had taken the invitation that she's allowed over whenever to allow herself to bypass arriving via mundane means. It was much easier to just... step out of the Dusk Zone into the Foyer, feel the rush of wind as 'regular reality' set beneath your feet. She'd brought with herself a box, she opened it... scanned it's contents, nodded once and re-closed the box.

"Eilam-kun?" she calls out.

She could hear music from somewhere in the manor. She would follow that. Stepping along the corridor and the hallway and into the room.

She head tilts. Did a rainbow shoot through here and puke all over Eilam? Yes that's her first internal thought about his choice of clothes.

She would walk over to the piano and merely head tilt, making sure she could be in Eilam's line of sigh so he'd know she was here, but otherwise not interrupting the playing. She may be trying to place the tune in her head- as she holds that box with two hands against her midsection.
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
When he finally noticed someone standing there, Eilam seemed to slow a bit as he looked towards Norie before pulling his hands back. "Everything okay? You did not come all worried, I hope, have not been stabbed by anyone today." he teased a tiny bit, looking her over, and noticing the box, but not saying anything immediately. Instead he asked, "I do not believe I have ever asked, do you care for music at all, or piano? Or are you more for other instruments?" The lounge itself had a large fireplace that wasn't on at the moment, decorated more towards the taste of the caretakers of the estate instead of Eilam. Which was to say pictures and such they tended to like more, some 'family' pictures of theirs, as well as some furniture. A couple of recliners, sofa's and lounging places, small coffee tables here and there near them for drinks presumably.
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana head tilts. "Ah, no. No worry. I wanted to come. For a visit." she says softly. She gently looks to the piano bench to see if there's enough room for two there. She doesn't sit until she knows. She does look back up. "I brought. Donuts. Can you eat donuts?" she asks. She gently opens the box to reveal some plain cake donuts. They seem baked fresh, rather than prepackaged. The holes are hearts in the center. A local donut maker's special mark.

"Ah.. music." she says softly. "I... was... am. A dancer." she says softly. "That goes hand in hand with music." she says softly. "I do not have a particular style I like. I've participated in all types of musicals in the past." she says.

"Classical is the most calming to me, however." she says.

"This piece you were playing sounds more modern though." she asks. "What was it?"
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
Well, not really enough for two side-by-side, but there was another bench that was pushed away a few feet nearby that she could easily take a seat on. In fact, Eilam noticed her looking and raised to drag it a bit closer to offer it. "A dancer? I never realized such. I suppose that would have been before I first met you. Hm... are you going to be getting back to that now that you've returned to your family, or is that something you think you will let sit aside? And I can, yes. I have not had any for quite some time." To which he pointed towards a small table, "If you care to bring that over you can set those on it? Any occasion or should I pay you back for the donuts?" As he mentions that, though, Eilam turned and raised a hand to touch the monitor, a touchscreen it seems as it un-fullscreened the sheet music and the tab changed to a video on nicovideo showing a screencap of an old super nintendo game, "I came across the game about twenty years ago or so, a super famicom game I believe the name is? The game was not the best game but I quite enjoyed the music. A Japanese fellow, Ishikawa Jun, also did music for the Kirby series from what I understand. I could never play it at speed, but it is fun at times to play along slower just to bring back memories."
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana does help push the bench over with a slide and then sits down on it next to him. She settles a bit and looks down to the box as she sets it down on the small table. She's mostly quiet as she talks. "No. I. Am not welcome back in Dance Club. I burned. A lot of my ..."

"Social... bridges? Social Bridges.. early on when I became this thing. Because when I'm starving myself I am an irrational mess that resorts to violence." she says.

"The problem is that I do not quite have a dance partner anymore." she says quietly.

She folded her hands. She was wearing the ring he'd given her now. It seems. Though that necklace that held the crimson teardrop jewel has been replaced with a newer silver chain.

"Ah... that would be before my time." she says quietly. "In terms of video games at least."

She looks at the screen and tapped her bottom lip.

"Sachi-chan was my dance partner. Before I did that thing to her. Now she doesn't wanna dance anymore at all." she says quietly. "But not because of what I did but, because it sunk in her sister is dead, finally." she says.

"And she danced for her." she says.
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
"That happens, yes. Losing ones motivation certainly is a thing I have seen time and time again. Even with myself, sometimes I just stop trying because it's not worth the effort on things anymore. Though to be fair, if you really wanted to get back to dancing, we could always find you another studio, or I could help you afford private lessons? If you wanted to dance for you, or others, is your choice wholly."
He did notice the ring, but didn't say anything about it, and didn't actually notice the change of her necklace chain. He really hadn't paid too much attention to that before. At least not enough to put it to mind.
"I am sure I could find a copy of it if you ever cared to try, though they have copies of them on the internet you can download and play in an emulator. I just happen to enjoy the music. You can imagine I have been around for a long time, and music was fairly stable in what it was until it started evolving with the times. When the world began to connect more and more, music began to spread, get shared and evolved even faster. So it is nice to find new things to experience in that regard. I really happen to like the music that goes along with videogames because it is mildly story-driven. Some songs are just tales, or nonsense, but other things are more grand. An association with a story. Someones theme, for instance, a jingle that plays when something happens. Small things that can bring up memories of other things. I... maybe I'm strange in appreciating that, but I do enjoy being able to associate the memories with music and something I can keep with me as long as I wish to." As he said that, Eilam did lean over to press a kiss against Norie's cheek. "Thank you for bringing the donuts, though. I have not had any for some time."
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana head tilts. "I don't need classes. I just need a regular studio, but I'm also blacklisted from a lot. As I said. I burned... bridges." she says quietly. "Unintentionally." she says,

"I figure. That. It is just a waiting game now. As you say. In fourty... fifty years I can try then. No one will remember, and those that do will be too old or dead." she frankly.

She head tilts. "An actual copy might be novel. But I'll also need a system to play it on."

A pause. "The donuts are a gift, Eilam-kun. You don't need to pay me back..." she says scooching just a bit closer on that bench.

"I'm glad you like them." she says softly.

"I feel very comfortable around you Elima-kun." she says softly. "I wish I could tell you what that means really." she says. "But it means it's as close to 'wanting to be here with you a lot' as I can get." she says softly.
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
That caused Eilam to laugh softly, "Well, if you care to try again sooner, the choice is yours. Money can grease a lot of wheels. Plus you forget, no one knows Lacrima, yes? Only Norie. If you go dancing as Lacrima, with a different name and such, who would know?" When she finally got closer and started to speak of 'as close as it gets', he just nodded. "Whatever you like is good enough for me with that. I just want you to be content whatever choices are made. That said, give me a few moments, I will be right back." And with that, he stood up with a slight wince and grasped for the stave that was leaning against the side of the piano - never far - to walk to the doorway and leave the room.
Much to what he said, he would come back after about fourty seconds or so holding a pair of plates and something wrapped in a cloth napkin. The door was shut and once he sat down again, she would find herself with a rather fancy plate for donut consumption and a fork - also fancy. Not fine dining by any means, but good enough. "Should I pick out which one I want, or did you have one in mind to give me?"
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana head tilts. "I don't know. People. That is. Normal people. Are uneasy. About 'Lacrima'. That little though nagging back in the head that something is wrong with me." she says softly. "It can make things difficult, but maybe it's worth trying..." she says. "Worse comes to worse, it would be a good try." she says softly.

She nods and watches EIlam leaves, and.. Eilam. Gets fancy plates for donut eating.

"This.. makes me comfortable." she says. "Right here. Right now." she says.

She shakes her head. "All the donuts are the same. You first." she says softly.

"I wish I could smile." she says quietly.

"I feel like I should be doing so."
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
"Cats do not smile, but you can tell they are happy. How they act, small things. I am sure with time those around you that you wish to know such things will be able to realize it without you having to announce it. Do not fret about it too much?" Opening the donut box, Eilam takes one with the fork and slips it onto his place before leaning back and starting to cut off a piece with his fork. "Though I will add that I think maybe you are smiling, you just might not realize it. Subtle things, how you move, leaning one way or another, where you are looking. Things like that."

    Nomf.

Well, he tended to like glazed, but gift donuts did have the chance to be better. "I am curious what would make you uncomfortable, though, about eating donuts with me." Fork resting on the plate, Eilam paused to pull out his cell phone and press a few buttons, classical music coming onto a speaker in the room. Nothing too extreme, just some background sounds going along with her having said she liked such.
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana softly eats her donut with her hand like she's used to. Bigger bites. Part of her wonders why Eilam is using a fork to eat a donut. Did Donuts used to be eaten with a fork? She huhs a bit.

"I guess." she says silently. "But a cat might still be able to feel happy. I can't. It's not that I don't chose to. It's that I can't." she says.

She sighs a bit and says. "There's times where. I felt I /might/ smile. But. I'm not sure what would trigger that." she says.

"I guess it takes an extreme to get me there..." she says.
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
Eilam cuts off a piece of the donut and pokes it with a fork, holding it out for Norie. Honestly he was teasing her a bit, he wasn't sure if she'd accept the offered bit of food or not, but even beneath the dark energy monster whatever she is, she's still herself at the core. She still remembers. Perhaps some part of her had always wanted some cute rich boy to feed her something on a fork? Everyone has their own fanties, no way to know hers without trying to find out.
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana stares at the piece of offered donut cross eyed. She of course. Eats it. Nomf. She does blush a bit at this. Blush she can do! No smile, but she head tilts. "Thank you." she says softly. She does take the moment to lean against Eilam, softly closing her eyes. She's still eating her donut.

When she's finished she just listens to the classical music floating from the phone.

"Are you... content.. happy... right now?" she asks.

"...Do.. nrg..." she mutters. "Do... uhhh..." it's like she's struggling with words. She closes her mouth and presses down on her teeth a moment.
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
"Is there any reason not to be? I already have more than I thought I could get in the past. Plus there is a cute girl leaning against me, nothing to complain about in the least." He wasn't really sure what to make of her 'Do' remarks, instead just saying, "More donut?" offering her another piece. Hard to fumble words with a mouth full of donut.
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana nrg. "Sorry. It's what. I am. Stopping me from. Asking. Something." she says softly. She just shakes her head and eats another piece of donut. She sighs a bit and keeps her eyes closed. "If I had my way. I would just sit here until tommrow." she admits.

She grits her teeth again.

"Do..."

mrf...nrg.. grrrrrr.

"Do.. I. Make you happy?" she asks. And there's a hard snap of her teeth after.

"Sorry."

"That actually. Hurt. Somehow. To say." she says as she shifts just a moment, but doesn't move much.
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
There was a moment where Eilam didn't say anything, he almost seemed confused. He seemed to think about it, but decided to take a slightly different approach to answering the question. Instead of another piece of donut, he turns after setting the plate down onto the table nearby to lean in and press his lips to hers, quite gently. He wasn't entirely certain what she was fishing for with that question, but maybe it was a bit easier to be direct since words never did seem to be her best point, with her curse as it was.

He didn't even bother taking a moment to speak, just taking the opportunity to thank her in his own way for the donuts, as well as hopefully make it a bit more obvious that she did indeed make him happy.
Norie Okana has posed:
Eilam answers not with words but a short quick chaste kiss. She blinks and blushes at that as she just goes back to leaning against Eilam, softly eyes closed. She just rests there a moment, not saying anything for a good few moments.

Time passes and she finally says something again. "Thank you, Eilam-kun." she says softly.

"I started wearing your ring." she says quietly.
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
"I should be the one thanking you, for making me happy. And I noticed, but I didn't think I should say much about it. I have all the time in the world after all, small things." And with that said he took a moment to reach for his plate to finish off the last bit of the donut before reaching for another. "Part of me was thinking you were trying to fish around for confirmation that I am happy. Thought a kiss might go a step towards proving that. Was I wrong in that belief? For all I know, those feelings might be magical nagging at you somehow."
As he chewed on a piece of donut, he looked towards her again, attempting to watch her for some more subtle movements, perhaps, if she was the type to show her thoughts with body language.
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana sort of squirms a bit. Which is odd for her. She does still keep leaned there. "I like the idea of knowing I won't be alone. Whether that's now for many many years from now." she says softly. "-and as much as the dark part of me doesn't want to admit it, I do like being around some specific people and you are one of them." she says.

"No.. that was fine. Actions are easier than words for me sometimes." she says.

Her body language is mostly relaxed again, though it's tense at the neck.
