Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Valentine's Day. A little late. Haruna understood. Hey, as long as it happened in the same week, she was gonna be happy. The fact Hannah even made time between works and Linker Core problems, well!

Thusly, she got into a sleek, teal green one piece dress that she'd bought for the occasional, checked her feather hairband in her head- and off she was to the Jazz Club that 'Miss White' owned.

The Jazz Club was important to her. It's where they had their first date! and also. Hannah owned it.

Corvus remained at home playing her MMORPG.

For now. She places her purse on top of the table and waited politely for Hannah to arrive at the clearly reserved VIP table.
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah would swat all of the Witches to be here. Especially the one residing in and-or possibly also herself. It's a bit weird right now. But that doesn't stop her from turning up at the Blue Note right on time, looking at least a hair better. Research has been going partially well, and of course there was Mamo involved. Gull was there for that debacle, after all.

With an utterly unsublte whistle, Miss White waltzes into the club like she owns the place (she does). And then twirls into the seat, ending legs crossed, and both hands behind her back suspiciously. Should she hear Gull shift? She leeeeans away. Poorly. There's a big package in her hands, in the vague shape of a square. Very vaguely. The bow is slightly off center.

She wrapped this thing herself, forget things like 'aesthetics'.

"And here I am. Riiiight in front of the most beautiful girl in the world. Now could this idiot really be here for Valentine's day? Hmmmmm? Nope. Couldn't /possibly/ be me, could it? Unless I get caught up in the Perfect Feathery Storm!" A big, wide grin. Wiggle wiggle in her seat.

"Because I might just meet that storm with an avalanche of hugs~!"
Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
There's a whistle, it's Miss White! waltzing on into the club in that 'I own the place strut'. (BECAUSE SHE DOES.). She smiles and head tilts. She adjusts the straps on her dress a bit as she listens and she sees that awfully wrapped gift that she definitely knows Hannah wrapped herself. She sighs and slips up and out of her chair and sliddddddes over to Hannah for a great, big hug. "Happy Valentines Day, my sly sly hawk~" she teases. She waits a bit, because she's sure Hannah is gonna definitely hug her lots back.

"Your gift is on White Day~" she insists. "Next month."

"Well."

"White's Day~" she says.

"It's a Japanese holiday, Valentine's Day reversed." she insists.

She smiles widely. "I'm glad you're here this year...." she says quietly.

The whole. Sword possession thing. Yeah.
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Reeeeach! So many Haruna hugs! That present actually gets dropped in favor of return-hugging Gull! With complete confidence, as it must not be of the fragile sort! Squeeeze! Still weaker than usual, but at least she's up and about right now. Maybe things are improving.

"And you, my beautiful, graceful...alright. Let's just say gull puns are hard. And you eat the best of...bread?"

"Shut up. I love you, happy valentine's day!" She ends, trying to pull this disaster out. Then, she outright blushes.

"H...hey. So you've got both da...oh, man, now I have to research what I need to get! I...I don't want to..." Ruin another holiday. She shakes her head, orders a big shake, and grins.

"White's day will be perfect." Somehow. She softens, just a touch. "Never. Again." She promises, and suddenly, Gull is hugged tight once again.
Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa hugs Hannah super tightly~ "Oh, you don't need to get me anything on White Day~" she says with a grin. "You give me a gift now, and I give back on White Day. But I'm calling it 'White's Day'. You'll find out~" she sings teasingly.

"Of course. Those two holidays revolve off gender roles and I hate that." she huffs. "Girls gift on Valentines, and Boys of White Day." she says.

"So. I got you something anyways." she says softly as she turns around and produces a much smaller box wrapped in pink paper. No bow.

"This is.. special." she says softly. "...and maybe a little bit of Schadenfreude." she says silently. Just a knowing smirk.

Hugging done she leans back and peeks at that box.

"Should we open?" she asks with a smile.
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Eyes close tightly. Hmph!

"...I love you and your country, I do, Haruna. But the Japanese still don't make much sense to me." She offers bluntly, before smiling.

"Whatever. I love you. Gift...accepted!"

Yoink! Comes in the box to Hannah-hams, and she very slowly, very carefully unwraps it. Almost theatrically, in fact. That other box, much larger, is offered to Gull in the meantime.

Her cheeks, just a bit, are flushed. "Special, huh?" Does she sound...excited!?

Her own gift isn't plain, but maybe odd! A dress. A single, frilled dress done almost entirely in Haruna green! It's part silk, part cloth, and entirely looking like something one of the most fashionable Pretty Cure Bombers might make up. Only with more frills and petticoats! There's even a ten-gallon-hat included, and boots with heels and spurrs!

"I know it's cheesy. But hey, you've got associates back home, right? I thought you might want to visit and fit in one day."
Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa gently takes dress out and examines and=--- wow! It's pretty! and American! and there's a /cowboy hat/ so she won't feel left out when she goes to America where everyone wears Cowboy Hats! (Right?) she beams and blushes. "It's perfect!" she says. "And yup! There's Pretty Cures over there too!" she says softly. "I can't wait to try it on but..."

She flops the hat on her head and adjusts it a bit. Then she purses her lips and takes it off and has to take her feather hair clip out to try to replace it back on her head. There!

Hannah opens the tiny box! Inside is a simple silver ring, with a banded design. It is very simple.

"That's... My sister 'rescued' that from home. It was supposed to be mine but they gave it to Aki, but Aki knew who was supposed to actually have it. Me." she says.

"Family tradition says the youngest gives that to... /The boy/..." she rolls her eyes...."...they love the most. When they're old enough. It's kinda stupid." she says.

"But I'm giving it to you." she nods matter of factly still.

She grins. "Cuz when Aki goes to visit them again soon. I want her to take a picture when she founds out how I gave it too..." her eyes sparkling a bit.

"I mean. I am. /Really/ giving it you." she blushes.

"But that's just. A bonus gift for me." she insists.
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
A grin! A big, big grin as that hat goes on!

"And now you'll fit right in! Hey. Let me let you in on a Pretty Cure secret!" Leeeean. Lean across the table. Yes, get disarrayed, cutlery, Hannah-chan is making a statement here. A little painfully. Actually this pose kinda hurts, but she's going for it, because now Hannah's committed.

"You're the new Prettiest Pretty Cure Ever. Congrats. Beautiful." A wink. There's even...that rose may or may not be Tuxedo-pilfered in her mouth. IT's gone just as quickly.

She does settle in her chair just a /bit/ sore. Ow. Flexibility, not Hannah's strong point.

And then, she opens the gift. Hands slowly play over the ring, feeling up every bit of it's surface. For a good five minutes, Hannah is silent. Realization comes slowly of just /what/ Haruna is asking. Silence reigns. Quiet eyes slowly turn to tears.

That's about when she pretty much shoves the table out of the way, and then latches herself into Haruna's arms. There's no subtlety here, no care for her reputation as a CEO. No, this is Hannah Sharpe bawling her eyes out in the gift she's been given. Already, it's on her hand. Heaven help anyone who wants to try to take it off her finger.

"I don't...what did I do...Haruna. Do I really...deserve this kind of...?"

A sucking breath. And then she's grabbing Haruna's wrist tightly. "...A picture? Haruna. Why should it just be a picature?" She vaguely grapples for a chair, and sits back.

"If they're that careless about their daughter, they why shouldn't it be US instead? Haruna. I don't have any faith in them, but...one last chance. Let's give that to them." She 'turns' away.

"You've given me plenty of chances, after all. Maybe...just maybe...three idiots can finally convince them that their daughters are fine."
Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna oofs, a hug! She shakes her head. "Of course you deserve it." she says. She says this in such a way as 'Water is wet' and 'the sun is warm'. She frowns when, though when Hannah mentions going back with Aki there and she tenses up in the hug. "I don't know , Hannah-chan..." she says softly.

"They didn't even acknowledge me, during Aki's memorial service those years ago when.. we thought she was dead." she says quietly. "But they contacted Aki the moment she 'came back'." she says. "They... they like Aki. They like Aki- despite her running away with me- because she's going to marry a boy most likely and give them grand-children and continue stupid old traditions." she mutters.

"But..."

She sighs and grates her teeth.

"Fine..." she says softly with a soft breath. "We'll go. And we'll try. One time. I don't think they'll talk to me at all. I'm pretty sure I don't exist to them." she says.

"Okay....?" she trails off meekly.
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah's features scrunch in that particular, annoyed, angry American way. Like she wants to take a big stick to the problem all at once, but then actually considers things. Quiver. Quiver. There's pure annoyance in her face, before she spins round in her seat and considers.

And then stands. "Your parents are..." Hand wave. Hand wave. She has not enough Japanese invectives to offer to slight Haruna's parents. The words that follow are a stream of very southern accented English that would make her own parents very unhappy. Right now, she's quite pleased to offer it all. She ends in this final string of words that are at least in a language Haruna understands.

"The point being, I can get at least that. I don't /LIKE/ it, but I get it. Heir to the bloody throne of England before we proper yanks cast it..POINT BEING that forget their Imperialist mindset, we need to show them two things. First. Love. I love you, Haruna Kurosawa. God help anyone who gets in the way. Second, I will support any family that joins my own. That includes yours. If Aki wants to be traditional, I will pick her up, direct her right to the nearest whatever-religion-you-like-priest and get that guy married. As long as /SHE/ is okay with it! She might hate me, fine, but I love you guys. I'll even offer my love to your parents."

A pause. "'Try'. Nah. We're going to win. If they refuse to acknowledge you...well, we're tied together. Kinda hard to ignore, right? I will make sure they realize their second daughter is a beautiful, strong woman. No matter what it takes, no matter how long it takes. And besides." A laugh. A loud, almost mad-scientist laugh.

"I'm pretty hard to ignore, right?' A vaguely salvaged milkshake is lifted, right to Gull!
Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa crosses her arms.

"Hannah you are not punching my parents. They are not youma."

"I don't think so at least."

"Kinda hard to tell sometimes." she says with a giggle.

"I don't know if we'll win, Hannah-chan." she says softly. "My parents are pretty tough themselves. Dad wasn't a fisherman on a boat for nothing..." she says.

She gently leans forward and then places a kiss to Hannah's lips. It's quick and a little chaste. "I love you, too , Hannah Sharpe. and I know you mean well. We'll try okay? Aki may have a better idea of how my parents are /now/ anyways. She keeps in touch more often then...I do. Obviously." she says softly.

She does smirk. "You do have a way of making yourself hard to ignore." she says with varying meanings as she takes a long sip of the milkshake with raised brows.
Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah almost, /ALMOST/, refutes her desire to punch Haruna's parents. But she can't quite. No, her hands flop to her lap just in time. And her head hangs low. This is the face of a Hannah-chan that really does want to morally punch two parents in the face. Given it's Hannah, this might be a rare occurance.

"Could've fooled me." Grump. GRUMP!

Squint! "Of course we will! Darn right we'll try! A FISHERMAN!? Dad was a Marine, and if we hadn't moved countries multiple times, and if my eyes worked, I would've signed up twice over! Don't...I mean it's not like I didn't want to follow in dad's footsteps okay!?"

Her growl is utterly weak. She definitely wanted to be her dad in turn.

"You too. Then we just need to ask Aki what touch she has. Just...give Aki whatever she needs. I love you, but, I won't reject your sister's feelings either. That's part of being family. So if she wants to reject me...let us battle it out. But just let her know I want you to be valued in your family. And that I need her to make sure you're valued." Her words are almost humble.

A smirk. "We all need to work togther, no matter what. I'm okay with that."
