Three Words You Couldn't Say Before
Date of Scene: 23 February 2017
Location: Plot Room #2
Synopsis: In Kukai's Body, Norie can feel again. She says the three words she's always wanted to to Eilam. Even if it's from Kukai's body.
Cast of Characters: Norie Okana, Eilam Hisakawa

Norie Okana has posed:
Norie Okana, currently in Kukai's Body-- thusly, Norie-K. Has taken a cab all the way out to Eilam's Estate. She... he... can't just walk up to Eilam like this. But there's things she has to say, things that she can feel and think and say with a clear head and not in a body of darkness.

But she stood there, just to the side of the gate. Behind the wall and put his phone out.

TXT: 'Eilam-kun... are you there?'

She'd wait for a reply, hopefully a reply, as she tapped her foot nervously. Part of her thinks she should had waited to find out if a disguise was possible. but..

Who knows how much longer she has in this body?
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
The response he gave might confuse Norie a bit, if only because it was fairly... short.

    TXT: 'Yes?'

Honestly, he was fairly confused by the text. Though another came shortly after.
TXT: 'I will be returning home shortly, if you wanted to talk?'

Shortly was apparently relative, a couple of minutes actually, the towncar that he was driven about in would eventually pull back up to the manors gate.
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K panics, he's out. Well he uh. Walks a little further. Around the corner. She sighs and looks down at the phone.

TXT: 'Eilam-kun... this is going to be a lot of stuff I'm about to say!'

The tone was weird. Usually. Norie was curt. Deadpan. This had the tone of say... Reiko to it.

TXT: 'and it isn't a joke either!'

TXT: 'I was attacked. By one of those cards. Like. The Return that's attached to you? But this one was called 'The Change'.'

TXT: 'And I was with Kukai who, grabbed it, because it was this little creature form at the time? While I grabbed it.'

TXT: 'It switched our bodies. I'm in Kukai's body. He's in mine. This is very reversible because the Card was caught by it's owner? But it needs.. time to recharge. It could be tommrow, or a couple weeks from now! :('

TXT: 'But. There's no fog in my head. In this body. In my head. and I can feel things! All the things I couldn't in my real body!'

Well that was a lot of Texts!

A pause.

TXT: 'I'm sorry if this is confusing and weird.'
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
There was no text reply. It's hard to ... someone through text, even if one wants to actually ... them because only ... can properly show the amount of ... going on in Eilams mind. Instead Eilam just sighed and held a hand to his face, knowing full well he didn't have the energy for this. Today was just not a good day, which probably showed as when the towncar started to pull up to the gate, and came to a stop, a rather tall, imposing-looking bodyguard of sorts dressed all in a dark suit and whatnot stepped out of the drivers seat and started to walk around to the trunk to open the trunk and pull out a wheelchair. Instead, however, once the trunk opened, he paused and looked towards 'Kukai' and asked rather simply, "Why are you standing here?" At which point a text comes.

TXt: I do not even know how to respond to all of that, or if I believe such. I have no proof you are her, or if someone else with knowledge of her has her phone and is trying to get information from me or what." And the door to the car opens as Eilam half turns to wait on the driver only to see who the driver had spoke to and stare towards him. It wasn't hard to see Eilam looked tired today. He did occasionally have those bad days.
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K reads the reply. He.. he doesn't believe her? She bit teeth together. She began to text when the sound of a car came up. And he'd hoped he'd moved far enough along the gate and wall to not be seen, but that didn't happen. She looks down to the phone, back up and the man who usually takes care of Eilam and Eilam himself and back down at his phone and she gritted his teeth.

She really didn't want Eilam to see her like this. She has no idea how Eilam would react.

She put the phone into her pocket. That def. looked like Norie's purple phone. He walked a few feet forward. "H--hi." she said nervously.

"The other night..."

"I hurt myself. Really bad. I had to force myself. To ask something to you. Do you remember? How I stammered?..." she asks.

"It felt like I'd assaulted myself with purification. But I had to ask. because I was worried." he says.

"I asked... Do I Make You Happy?..." she says softly.

"I don't know what else I can say to prove it."

"You gave me a ring on Christmas. And you told me who it belonged to. How you we're shunned..."

"...and I brought Mamoru and Kunzite over to try to help you. With the Card." she says.

"And you talk to me. About your fears. Of being trapped. That that frightens you so much..."

"...and you think my sleeping in a coffin and living in that manor.. was so sterotypical." she says.

"You look tired today Eilam-kun. I'm sorry." she trailed off.
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
The bodyguard just looks confused before looking towards Eilam with a 'What the hell?' look on his face. Eilam himself wasn't really sure what to make of things, seeing a teenaged boy not only standing there, but suddenly starting to try and speak to him. With Norie's phone. And speaking of things she would have known. But mention of card and him being paranoid and uneasy about magic in general and especially now the idea of memories and things /no one else should know/ being shared just made him hold up a hand. "Stop."

The bodyguard started to take this as an excuse to turn towards Kukai and walk towards him, only for Eilam to ahem, "Takata, stop." and the bodyguard did. "Just... give the two of us a moment alone." And with that he did, in fact, turn to look towards Eilam before stepping away and walking to open the gate, walking inside a bit to stand out of ear range but still waiting if needed.

Finally Eilam spoke again, having been looking towards 'Norie'. "Do you have any way to prove this... that could not just be memories shared by a card? You mentioned a card, the card, so you know of it somehow. How can you prove you do not simply know all of this beause of it."
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K sort of stands there. She frowns. "Physically? No. No I don't." she says. "A creature hit me. This girl with a wand, Sakura-chan-- that was mentioned when Mamoru was over? Turned it into a Card. She's the owner. But not after it'd switched me and Kukai. Kukai is in my body. If you meet 'me' that is.. 'Kukai in my body' you'll notice the difference easy enough. He's barely in control in it... acting like I did in my first four months. Irrational and a mess."

"I was just. Staring at the sea? I was thinking how I'd finally gotten 'comfortable' with what I was. And I was comfortable with that night before. When we talked. And I finally felt like I had an existence I could bear to have." she says.

"Then this happened. Kukai was walking down the way. We started talking because we had to talk about Sachi-chan. The girl I drained into that coma? Who woke up?" she says.

"Then that girl, Sakura comes screaming chasing it and that's when it lept at me and this happened."

"I'm not here to try to hurt you... I'd never do that. Never...!" she says.

"I Just."

"There's things. I can say. and feel. That I normally can't." she says.

"...and right now I'm just afraid you'll find this off putting because of the body I'm in for the moment." she says sulking a bit.
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
Eilam just /stared/ at Norie/Kukai, watching how he acted, watching him. "Just..." he took a breath and sighed, "...stop. Stop. I do not know... where to even begin with this." But perhaps that was at least a positive sign. He didn't seem upset, he just seemed a bit overwhelmed at the moment. He still didn't know too much of magic then just suddenly this. All he could think of was 'If this is true... does that mean someone else has my ring?' Priorities for him were rather distorted, of course, from a great many others. "You can... come with me inside. I am not sure if I fully believe you, but... I am going to take a chance in the off chance... you are telling the truth, for her. If i find out you are lying, or you say something that makes me think so, you will find out I am not as nice a person as you might have seen me be to her." And then he presses something on his phone, causing Takata to walk back over. "The wheelchair, and they can come inside with me. Take me to my office and leave me there."
Takata nods at such and looks towards Norie/Kukai again with a bit of wariness before shaking his head a bit and going about getting the wheelchair and helping Eilam into it to push him towards the manor and inside to the office. Which Norie /had/ been to before. A while back though. Where she'd shared dinner with him one day.
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K's eyes search Eilam and then she does stop..

"Okay..." she says quietly, and a little meekly. The ring...?

"When we changed. I took him back to the manor to rest in the coffin. I took my phone back then." she says. "And gave him his phone which was on my person."

Norie-K does walk around the place like she's been here before. This room is familiar to her.

She even walks to where she usually sits and sit's down and remains quiet.

"I am telling the truth..." she says softly.

"This did happen." she says.

"I wish I could prove it some other way. But all I have are the things I know I can tell you. I can't remove my soul from my body and show it to you... as much as I wish I could right now..."
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
Once inside, Takata pushed him into the office area and stepped out when Eilam motioned him to go, leaving Eilam and Norie-K there. Getting up from the wheelchair with a bit of a strain, Eilam moved to the recliner he typically sat in and slumped into it, letting the eletric nature of it rest him back some as he rather slowly worked to take his shoes off one by one, hooking them on the end of the stave and bringing them to his side to sit near the side of the chair in a practiced fashion.

"I am not... going to pretend to understand magic. Or to be able to claim if... what you are saying... is true or not. But I said I was... going to chance believing you, for her. Why, though... come here? To me? What can... I do, that others cannot?"

Perhaps he had missed them mentioning being able to /feel/ differently, or it just didn't register.
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K looks up and blinks. "I didn't. Come here for help. Eilam-kun." she says. "You're tired. You missed... what I said. That's okay." she tries to offer a weak smile. "I can smile.. right now even..." she says.

"In my real body. I can't feel. Positive things Eilam-kun. I can't feel happy. or joy or enjoy things really at all." she says.

"I can feel them now! I thought. I'd never feel them again! That I'd never be able to get a few moments to figure things out in my head."

"I watched a show, and I laughed! and. I ate until I felt full? and it was cold out this morning! Not like. The cold. I am always. Like I needed to wear a jacket!" she says.

"But.." she shakes her head.

"There's things I wanted to tell you. That's why I'm here. While I can feel and think straight without the darkness in my head." she says quietly.

"Do.. do you understand... Eilam-kun?..." she asks. "That much? I've spoken to you. About what I can't feel before."
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
    "..."

Well, he was a bit exhausted, which meant he probably wasn't going to be doing mental olympics. But all of this sounded like one of his 'Well I'm feeling good today, but I'm lonely, perhaps I should visit the red-light district' moments, and it actually made him amused.

Enough that he laughed softly and said, "If you came looking to... try out your... new body, then I am sorry to... say I will not be too... forward today. But then again, if you can feel again, maybe you are the one... thinking forward?"
So hard to say if he was teasing or serious. Perhaps both. Well, seems he was at least entertaining the whole idea enough to tease them, which was certainly better than not.
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K blinks and blushes furiously. Which looks so odd. "I-- no! I..." he then purses his lips and he begins to giggle. "I.. hehehehehe..."

"I.. I knew. I should have been feeling this... when you tease like that.." she says rubbing his hands against his face. She's still blushing.

"It's the first time I'm able to take that in..."

She shakes her head.

"No. I'm not here. For that." she says.

All that tenseness she had about... being in the odd body just flittered away with that tease.

"No.. I.. wanted to say that..."

"You make me happy, too..." she said quietly.

"...and I love you... and I'd never shun you. Or hurt you. Like. Like I saw... that time."

"And if.. I didn't say those two things now... If I saved them until I got back into my real body."

"I'd probably doubt myself about it." she says quietly.

"That's all. I wanted to say." she says sheepishly.

"I know you're tired. I'm sorry." she says again.
Eilam Hisakawa has posed:
She... loved him? That caught him by surprise. He didn't show it too much, but by the time she got around to apologizing when mentioning he was tired, Eilam shook his head. "It is okay. If that is really how you feel, then... I am happy to hear it. In fact I am..." he paused and took a breath before shifting a bit in his recliner, "...I suppose I understand what you meant by coming here today. Even if it seems a bit... fantastic."

So why did he hold a hand out towards Norie-K, palm up? It wasn't fully outstretched, but certainly visible him doing such. "I am still here if you wish to... stay, or... live while you can. It might not be the most clear, with my... condition and... tiredness, but... whatever you want, or need?"
Norie Okana has posed:
Norie-K softly smiles. She can smile like this. She wishes she could had smiled before. With her own face. "I'll be back in my own body soon enough, Eilam-kun." he says.

She bites her lip. "Yes. That's why I came here. To say. That. While I can. Because. There's not guarantee I could say it when I get back in my own body." she says. "Because when I go back. I'll go back to having my emotions stolen from me." she says. "And. I do need to go back. It just isn't right to keep a body that isn't mine..."

"--and besides. Like this I'm mortal. I can't... won't.. leave you alone." he says with wide eyes as she gets up, and walks over and takes Eilam's hand.

"Right now I just want you to rest. And I can sleep on the couch. And we can talk tommrow. Before I need to go.. because I need to ... pretend to be this person so his family isn't worrying about him being missing."

"--and because the other is doing the same for me. Pretending to be 'Norie' for my family's sake. So I didn't go missing suddenly again so soon after I came home."

A warm smile. "I wish I could smile like this when this is fixed. I hope you can imagine this on my real face." she says.
