The Search For Scorn
Date of Scene: 16 August 2015
Location: Plot Room #1
Synopsis: Scorn is missing. Hannah goes searching for her.
Cast of Characters: 3, Hannah Sharpe

Rocky Road (3) has posed:
Hannah is probably flying over the city, using wide area search to determine if there's any signs of Scorn, Haruna, or Corvus's dark energy magic. There are no recent signatures of this fact. Hannah sometimes finds an odd pocket of it, but it isn't recent--- it just takes dark magic a little longer to linger away. These are just scrapings from her original goal of stealing souls. It makes it more difficult to track her.

It's like she's completely dissapeared.

Hannah however, suddenly gets a blip. Hannah knows this blip. It's Procyon. It's currently active. Also. Procyon seems to be yelling through some sort of megaphone he stole. "Hannnnnnah! Down here Hannah! Hannah! Down heeeeerreeeeeeee."

Yeah.. that's defintly Procyon.

When Hannah gets closer- she's able to read /another/ magical signature.

This one buries the needle of area search to a level it can't even fathom or measure. The source seems to be the blue haired, blue eyed man with the frilly white shirt and blue pants that Procyon seems to be standing on the head of.

"Was the megaphone really, nessacry?" asks the man.

"/YES/." says Procyon.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Miss WHite has been led across a wild goose chase of dark magic signatures, a few of which are familiar. After the last one, she kicked over a car in frustration. Her friends missing, particularly with Bandit-chan and her crew so active as of late, is a red flag to the Mage.

But she does find one thing she recognizes: Procyon! With a burst of hope, she leaps from a water tower upon a wave of wind magic, landing with a slide and renewing her sensory spells.

"Unknown signature detected, Mistress." Quips her Device regarding the blue haired man.

"'Coon-kun! Thank God! Alright, where is our dark-and-sulky friend!? I got a bad feeling about this one! And...gah, he's right, the megaphone is overdo...HOLD UP!" Scowl! The woman turns to 'glare' in his direction.

"Who are you, and what connection do you have with fluffy-tail and Scorn-chan!?" Demands the woman, pointing a finger at him accusingly. Her entire body is tense, worry etched plainly on her face.

Rocky Road (3) has posed:
Rocky Road leaps at Hannah. And literarly hugs around her neck. "Oh... Oh Hannah! It's been so horrible! The other Tablets got destroyed... I was only rescued because of this guy here... and that asshole with the grey uniform took Sc---Haruna! She wasn't even ready! At all! She couldn't even yell out." he says. There's genuine worry in his voice. He pauses.

"Um. Okay. Um. Hannah. This is God. God. Hannah."

He says this really casually. "Though his full title is Deity of the Blue Skies."

The man nods. "My name is Blue." he says. "I'm one of a few Guardian Entites of Earth." he says. "To call me 'God' would be incorrect. To call me 'A God' is more correct." he says.

"I do not often interact with the people of Earth. It's important that people answer thier own prayers. That they find the strength themselves..." he says trailing off somberly.

"...but in this case. I may be the source of this misfortune that will be marring this city very soon- and very potentially, the rest of the planet, because of such inaction." he says. "Haruna Kurosawa is not on this planet right now. I know where she's been taken. It is not a place I can breach." he says sadly. "And when she's returned. It'll be too late. There is a foreboding in the air. Corvus will be free. The cycle of grief continues, and Haruna is the only one with the connection to Corvus to stop it. My intention is to confront Corvus. I have no powers. I cannot fight." he says. "But it is also important I speak to Haruna. There are things she needs to know." he says.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
"Wha...hey, hey, calm down Coon-kun! It will be /okay/! Wait, alright, who is going around breaking the Tablets? Jerk in uniform, got it! Tell me you got a picture or something!?" Even as she hugs and rubs those raccoon ears, she's trying to dig out useful information. She knows a few people who might care enough to help.

At least she's getting the picture. Someone goes around shattering tablets, ambushes Scorn, wisks her away. There's naked anger in her eyes before Procyon stops her in her tracks.

"....Huh?" She mutters, jaw dropping. She is standing in front of God. From everything her spell is telling her, the deity is distinctly lacking beard or old-man trappings.

She'll need a moment. She actually crosses her chest. Hannah is hardly the picture of a Catholic, but going to church as a kid definitely left its mark.

A deep, sucking breath, and she /listens/. She visibly relaxes.

"...Seriously, fluffy, careful how you throw that word around okay?" A rub on Procyon's head, then she's peering at Blue.

"Pleasure. I guess my little friend here spilled everything. Hannah Sharpe as a civilian, Miss White to my enemies and magical friends. Try not to spread the first one around, okay, Blue-san?" Cue an offered handshake.

The current crises swiftly becomes more dangerous. The planet at risk due to his inaction? One eye closes.

"Well, normally I would be pretty suspicious, but you strike me as the kind of guy who is a really poor liar." And depressed on top. She's tactful enough to not say that out loud.

"Alright then." She says after a moment, taking it all in. Her hands fold behind her back. She has a headache. It's all a little too much, but her friend is in danger, and she won't just let her be abused by that bird anymore or this grey-suited guy.

"Where is she, how do we get there, and what needs to happen so she's safe and Corvus is sealed away again? Words can be a weapon too, so if you have those, consider us allies for the moment Blue-san." Right to the point, it seems. She smirks, suddenly.

"...You could say I know a lot of people. And I have a feeling we are going to need a lot of people to pull this off."

Rocky Road (3) has posed:
Blue seems to listen to Hannah. "I'm not in the bussiness of releasing identites." he says.

He frowns. "I'm afraid something got lost in my explanation..." he says.

"Corvus will be released. This is no longer something that can be stopped. I know the exact specifics. This is how written in stone this future is, Hannah." he says. "I know it happens on Clover Tower. I know that Haruna's been brainwashed into being Corvus's pawn. I know when Corvus frees himself, he takes the half of Haruna's soul that belongs to her away." he says.

"Anything past that. Is fluid. Constantly changing. One minute, Haruna turns into something horrible. The next, she just dies. In one instance, you, Tuxedo Kamen, and Cure Boost die. In one instance, Corvus is resealed- but so is Haruna. In one instance, everything ends happily as it can manage. In the other, the world is dying." he says.

"It is a good thing that the future is fluid after this point. It means there's a chance. That is all we can hope for." he says.

Procyon nods his head, and also, crawls on top of Hannah's head and lays there. "Yeah... we're both kinda gods? And what Bluenette over here is saying is that we can't actually stop Corvus now. But we can change what happens after that fact." he looks down. "Haruna has a strong heart...I know she can survive this." he says kind of seriously and uncharactistly sadly.

Blue speaks up. "Haruna had a sister. But you know this. It's why she made a pact with Corvus. Because he promised a wish that he couldn't grant to begin with." he says.

"....Part of my bussiness, on Earth, is giving the gift of love seeds to those whose who hearts shine like a brilliant light. If thier heart shines hard enough..... they can harness the love seed to become a Pretty Cure- a warrior of hope who helps protect the world from misfortune. It is not something I impress upon them. It's a choice. Made from the kindness, love, and courage of thier hearts." he says.

"Aki Kurosawa was one of these. She was also a close friend." he pauses. "She also isn't dead."

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah leans against a convenient water tower, rubbing her chin as her concerns are put to rest. She takes a deep breath. Corvus will be released. And he'll take something so very precious from her friend. Part of her soul. The mere thought has her trembling in fury, a hand clutching one of the supports for the water tower. She squeezes, and there's a handprint in metal.

More deep breaths. She has to be calm, to think, if they'll have any chance of saving the girl.

"Alright. So little magpie-kun gets his hands on half of her soul. People could die, she could turn into an abomination, get sealed away with the little wretch, the world could come to an end, or everything ends up about as good as it ever gets." She repeats, running it all past herself.

The reminder of the utterly raw deal from Corvus has her flinching, and she reaches up to Procyon. The fluffy spirit does much to assuage her wrath, enough so that she can concentrate as she rubs those fluffy ears. She could use Boris right now.

"...Huh. So that is how those PreCure come to be. Seems like you have an angle in all of this after all. I was starting to wonder!" She laughs, oddly relieved upon finding out the man is both offering a square deal and has a motive. She can understand. A thumbs-up.

"Fought one or two of them. Not bad." It's about the highest compliment the girl can pay, coming from someone who might be normally considered an enemy.

Then Blue's words hit her.

"...Wait, her sister is /alive/!? Where!? If that girl really is the heart of Scorn-chan's desire, then if we could reunite the two..." A glimmer of hope rests in Hannah's eyes.

"Aki Kurosawa might be the key to keeping Haruna-chan safe and alive through all of this. Besides. Sisters should stick together, right?" A hopeful smirk here.

Rocky Road (3) has posed:
Blue frowns. Hannah may not be able to see it. But she can feel it. It's very odd... very sad.

"...Being a Pretty Cure is dangerous. But this is also part of the choice. They are accepting this danger. They know it is there." he says.

"There is a man who calls himself the Pretty Cure Hunter. He hunts Precure because the person he works for finds Happiness, Love, Friendship, Justice Abominable."

"Two years ago, an explosion happened at the school that used to occupy the location of Mitakihara Public. Aki was there. She expended a lot of power saving people from the fire and rubble as Cure Tide."

"So when the hunter ambushed her. She couldn't fight back. He does not kill his prey. He places them in a mirror- where they sleep in despair. Then he takes them somewhere." he says. "I know all the Pretty Cure he takes are alive. I know this because I can feel the despair from them when I try to reach out and locate where he takes them all. I do know he calls it a 'Precure Graveyard'. I know this because for the first time, recently ago-- a group of Cures and thier friend escaped from it when he dragged them there to try to do the same to them." he says sadly. "She's captive. And there is nothing I can do about it. And any Precure I send out to look into the matter, just end up being taken away by that man."

He closes his eyes. "Aki spoke about Haruna a lot. Haruna was afraid that if she made other friends... that her sister would stop playing with her, or caring about her. But that was the furthest from the truth. Aki wanted Haruna to become a Pretty Cure- so they could fight together as a team. Aki asked me to wait until she was a little older." he says. "When Aki dissapeared, Haruna's shy heart stopped shining. She fell into a deep despair. If I had spoken to her... approached her. Let her know the truth-- about how brave her sister was, and let her know she was alive--- if not free... Maybe that would had made things better. But I didn't. This is why I say my inaction is to blame." he says. "Gods are not perfect. This is something you are best to learn, Hannah. We shouldn't interfere with life. But at times, sometimes the rules deserve to be bent a little. And sometimes it's hard to determine when that should happen." he says.

"I will not hide my motives from you, Hannah." he says. "It is my intention to speak to Haruna. It is my intention to give her the love seed her sister asked me to form for her. It is my hope that she can be given enough hope on this terrible night to make her heart shine again. It is my hope she chooses to become a Pretty Cure. It will save her. It will make her soul whole again. It will give her the power to end Corvus's cycle of hate." he says.

Procyon looks down and speaks. He's still resting on Hannah's head. "That's. Going to be hard. For the past three months... she's had no agency. She's been forced into situations. She was tricked by a demi-god... was used by the people you work for and studied like she was a specimen, and only put up with it because the only other option was that jerk at the masquerade ball, and be taken by people who would brainwash her. It's why Corvus wanted her there. He'd be in control then. Not Scorn." he says. "To be honest. I'm really scared if she lets the darkness overtake her...." he pauses.

"Hannah..." says Procyon. "I know you really don't want to hear this. But the people you work for are terrible, and I want you to make me a promise." he says.

"If.. if the darkness overtakes her soul, I want you to do everything in your power to keep her away from Desparia." he says.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Miss White raises an eyebrow.

"...Sounds like an utterly depressed guy with /way/ too much strength. Seriously! Who hates love, friendship, and happiness!?" Pause.

She turns away, and rubs her hair.

"...Admittedly things like Justice are a bit far-fetched and naieve with the world as it is. POINT BEING!" Cough. She's still definitely on Eclipse's side in the grand scheme of things.

"So we need to find this mirror-wielding PreCure Hunter, and get him to release Cure Tide a.k.a. Aki-chan. Alright! Now that is a start! Blue-san, you actually seem competent and have a plan in your head. You have no idea how refreshing that is for somebody on your side!" Comes Hannah. Her respect for PreCure just jumped quite a bit.

"So you need non-PreCure to deal with the problem. Great! I know some naieve people who would /jump/ at the chance to solve a problem like that! And some not-so-naieve people I can rope in!" Seems she's hardly going to tackle the problem alone.

An eye closes as Blue relates Aki's and Haruna's story. She sighs.

Walking over, she reachs out, and squeezes Blue's shoulder in a companionable way.

"Hey. Nobody is perfect. So no regrets, okay? You screwed up, but you have a plan to fix things. You know people who can make things right. So quit with the 'I'm all to blame' act. This world is rotten and disgusting. If you have to blame something, blame that, and then move on. Do something about this world, if you hate it like me." A small nod to Blue, and then she's smiling again.

"Bend or break those rules, I really do not care. Speak to her. Go ahead. Haruna-chan is my friend. Whether she becomes a PreCure and ends that 'cycle of hatred' as you call it..." She pauses, listens, and sighs.

"Or ends up sucking up Darkness? Frankly, the choice at the end of the day is her's. I will respect that either way. She stays with the Company...yeah, yeah, I /know/. Eclipse is full of bad people. I am one of them, fluffy-kun!" She laughs, here, shaking her head.

"...I just happen to value my friends more than personal advancement." A shrug.

Miss White is silent at the offered promise. She ponders. Really, the only one she owes anything to is the Professor. A small sigh. She remembers the reward offered, and then suddenly grins.

"...DEAL! If she falls like that, then I will simply claim my reward" A wink here.

"WitchHunter Professional Services could use someone with her skills, after all!"

Rocky Road (3) has posed:
Blue nods, really, if Hannah really knew the truth, at least, she'd understand why Blue blames himself for everything ever that happens in the world. He's bad at personal feelings.

Hannah touches God. He actually tries to prevent this- but he can't- because by the time he's moved, Hannah's hand touches his shoulder. Hannah's hand glows blue. There's a flash of light. For the tinest moment, Hannah gets the image of a shrine miko with short hair, doing a dance with some bells. If Hannah's touched Mamoru and gotten one of his silly visions- well it's very similar to that.

He politely removes her hand.

"I apologize." he says.

He nods. "The night of the 21st. That's when it happens." he says. "I need to prepare now. Procyon will also be coming back with me."

"Thank you, Hannah. I hope together, we can at least get Haruna out of this, for better, or worse."

Procyon jumps over to Blue. Blue turns around and walks through a blue mirror portal that appears. He's gone.
