Synopsis:	Burgers on Rooftops!? WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
About an hour ago, there was a slight disturbance at the beach. This ended up with a field of mangled dead trees and wasteland and Oresky yelling about /he/ was the number one sand castle builder. Then he summoned a Terribad, perverting the happy winner's happiness into a Sand Castle Terribad. Cure Gull kicked him in his face, defeated the terribad and obtained the Detective PreCard!

She doesn't really know how that disguise is going to help her, but it reminds her of stories of Sherlock Holmes.

But that was earlier.

She is currently sitting on top of an air conditor and eating a double cheeseburger. Corvus, the silver raven on her shoulder, is /also/ eating a cheeseburger.

She has a small bag that seems to contain a few of them. "Weeeee- gotta fuel up for more danger~" she insists. Corvus just agrees because it gets him more Cheeseburgers with a mouth filled rapid nodding of 'Yes'.

Ayana has posed:
It's not every night that Black Fox goes on a patrol. In fact, it's a pretty rare thing. Nevertheless, she enjoys spending time with Cute Wolf Tsukiko, so tonight she's agreed to do just that. Ayana hops from rooftop to rooftop, hunting evidence of Youma.

But as ever, the Black Fox is easily distracted. In the midst of a sentence, "Hey, I'm starting to think ew're not going to fi--" she stops entirely. Not just her words, but also her body, her flight. In fact, the only thing that she moves is her chin, up just a little, so that she can sniff at the air. Her fuzzy black fox ears twitch once, twice, and then she tears off in a new direction, leaving Ikiko to catch up. She bounds two more rooftops, then skids to a stop in front of Cute Gull, eyes wide. "Burger," she observes. Because obviously Cure Gull didn't know that.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Running patrols is a good habit to have, and Tsukiko does enjoy bounding along in the moonlight. Having a friend along is an added bonus, and she was glad that Black Fox was interested in coming along, even as boring as the patrol had been. No signs of youma, at least not in the areas the two of them had been in. Slow night, or just not in the right place?

The wolfgirl pauses for a moment as Black Fox sniffs at the air. It takes Tsukiko a moment to catch the scent, but she does so, even as the foxgirl goes bounding off rapidly. Tsukiko follows at a less frantic pace, smiling slightly as she sees who Ayana is talking to.

"Hi, Cure Gull!" the wolfgirl smiles as she lands nearby and walks the last few meters over to the impromptu gathering. "I see you're having a late-night snack; how have things been going for you?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull is lifting the burger to her mouth when....

She blinks rapidly. Huh!?

"Uh....Hi?" she asks as Ayana just says 'Burger'. "Cheeseburgers! Actually!" she smiles. Do you want one?" she asks. Corvus looks on a little suspicious-- mainly because less burgers in the bag mean less he can eat.

She peeks over Tsukiko. "Hiii! Cute Wolf...." she pauses.

"Is this 'Cute Fox'?" she asks softly. It's a valid question!

Ayana has posed:
"Please!" Ayana says, even as she reaches to pull one of the cheeseburgers out of the bag. The question was an offer, right? RIGHT? "I /am/ a cute fox, but I'm not Cute Fox. I'm Black Fox. Hi! Nice to meet you! Thank you for the burger." Which she promptly starts stuffing into her mouth.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Cute Wolf Tsukiko covers her mouth and manages to quash a gigglefit before it starts. "Cure Gull, this is Black Fox, a friend of mine; Black Fox, this is Cure Gull, a magical girl I've heled on occasion," the wolfgirl says with a grin.

She takes a deep sniff of the scent of burgers in the air, then glances from Black Fox to Cure Gull. "May I have a burger as well, please?" she asks meekfully. Hey, a snack /does/ sound like a good idea...

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull hands out burgers. Corvus seems to disapprove. Corvus can live with it because if this, above all the other stuff they're experienced, bothers him a lot, priorities really need reexamined. She seems to have more in the bag. She also gets herself another and head tilts.

"So whatcha two out doing?" she asks as she takes another bite. "I fought a Terribad and kicked a Phantom General in his face!" she says contently. "Oh I got a new Precard for it, too~" she beams!

Corvus finishes his burger. He reaches around his back and pulls up a new one. There is one less burger in the bag. Don't think about this too hard.

"You two seem hungry." she says with a smile. "Did something happen to you two?"

Ayana has posed:
Ayana's mouth is full, so her words are relatively unintelligable. Worse, she seems not to notice this problem: "We wuh ou' oofn fo Oommnn," she says around a mouthful of burger. She swallows what /must/ be too much food, then makes a face and starts patting her chest. After a moment she clears her throat, then grins a toothy smile at Cure Gull. "We haven't found one, yet, but it's only a matter of time in this city. And I'm /always/ hungry. These are tasty."

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Cute Wolf Tsukiko pats Ayana on the back as the foxgirl works on swallowing the mouth-and-a-half-full of food. "Congratulations on the new Precard!" the wolfgirl smiles to Cure Gull. "Maybe your fight earlier scared away the weaker youma?"

She takes a couple of bites of the cheeseburger. It's a /very/ tasty cheeseburger, but she's taking her time to enjoy it, instead of trying to scarf it down as fast as she can. Easier to carry on a conversation that way, and it's not like she's massively hungry -- just in the mood for a snack, and these burgers happened to be available.

Cure Gull shrugs. "A Terribad is only as powerful as the happiness it steals... It seemed to be a sand castle contest, so I dunno if a lot of it was a high stakes? And Kindabads are really just there to be punched through and don't really pose a danger even in the large groups they appear in, really."

"It's kinda really easy to power through them. Terribads are the bigger problem." she says with a smile. "And maybe?"

"I dunno!" she says. Corvus rolls his eyes and speaks. "We've actually got a decent number of PreCards!" he says. "Some actually useful ones, too."

Ayana has posed:
Ayana finishes the first burger, then reaches into the bag for a second without even asking. "What's a precard?" she asks curiously as she opens the burger up and starts in on it right away.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull heads tilts. "Oh. Right. Um. Things. Pretty Cure use. For things." she looks right to Corvus. Can you summon one for me~ Um. Dress. Dress PreCard." she says contently. Corvus reaches behind his back and hands two translucent cards to Gull, "These are Precards!" she says. They kind of look more like they belong to some sort of 'Paper Doll' dressup set. But really....

That's what her Pretty Cure powers are about, afterall!

The dress is a pretty pink royal one.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Cute Wolf Tsukiko is still working on her first burger. "Hey, taking out a Terribad is still a great thing," she points out. "And landing a hit on a Phantom General is even better! Maybe next time they'll think twice before attacking!" Of course, that might not delay them long, but one can hope.

The wolfgirl smiles at Black Fox's question. "And which one did you get today?" she adds. The dog one from last time was amusing, even if it might not be the most frequently useful.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana leans forward and peers at the card, somewhat confusedly. She gives it a long look, then tilts her head, then leans back and squints at Cure Gull. "So all of your powers come from these ... cards?" she asks. "Weird. Are they magical cards, then?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull looks at Ayana. "Kind of. I use my PreChanMirror with them. Cards go into it. Without the PreCards, I can't transform. Without my PreChanMirror, I can't transform." she says softly. She looks over to Cute Wolf. "Detective!" she says softly.

"I mean. I have my main Cards... the Cure Gull cards. Those are the important ones." she nods matter of factly.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
"Detective? That sounds useful!" Tsukiko smiles. "Especially if you have to investigate anything." And given what she's seen of some of the others, it's probably a cute outfit, too!

Ayana has posed:
"Detective?" Ayana asks, as if she doesn't know the word. But oh she knows it. Instead she's more thinking of the card. "Does it dress you up like a detective? Or do you just ... become a good detective? Or does it like show you where all the things are that a good detective would find?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull nods. "Yup!" she says. "Sometimes theres...minor powers? Involved with them? Like the Dog PreCard dresses me a cute dog suit and lets me hear dogtalk! But.. um. I can't speak it." she says meekly. "Also, my smelling is better then!" she insists.

"Hey, are we done talking about you yet?" asks Corvus with a bemused expression.

Gull Blushes. "Ah..! Right. I'm sorry. Black Fox, what are ya about?" she asks softly.

"I think Wolf told me her story already..." she says.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Cute Wolf Tsukiko finishes her burger, stifling a giggle at Corvus's gentle rebuke. She nods to Cure Gull, then takes another burger from the bag. This should be enough for the night, as long as there's not a major fight later tonight, or anything else that needs a lot of energy.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana spots Tsukiko starting in on her second burger, which is apparently some kind of signifier that she should continue eating her own second burger. So she shoves half a bite in her mouth. Just in time to avoid having to answer Cure Gull's question? Maybe it's not intentional. She replies, nevertheless, with a mouthful of food, "m af a Mafif Gl ak Coo Wooth."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull ughs. "I..um. I forgot. how to interact. normally. With people. Sometimes. Sorta sitting in a small room for two years unless someone made you kinda sucks." she probably means her dorm room. She looks kind of ashamed at this. Those two years were not very fun. A lot of Gull's spastic energy probably comes from the two years of unwinding like an elastic band on a balsa wood airplane.

She doesn't seem to mind people just taking the burgers. Corvus seems satisifed with what he got to eat already.

"What was that..?" she asks softly.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Cute Wolf Tsukiko leans over and gives Cure Gull a hug. "At least you're able to go out and make new friends now!" the wolfgirl points out with a smile.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana blinks at Cure Gull, then swallows her bite of burger. "Uh," she mumbles quietly, then eyes the rest of the burger in her hand. "I ... I said I'm a magical girl, just like Cute Wolf. I even have my own magical locket," she pulls a fox-head locket out from around her neck; a magical onyx glowing with power. "It turns into my wand when I need one," she explains, "and empowers my foxfire."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull huhs. "Oh, okay." she says. She accepts this. Something seems... off here. And she can't quite place it. Something about Ayana is--- she just shakes her head. She does accept the hug though. "I... it was my own fault. Don't worry about it." she says softly. She looks back at Ayana.

"So...what do ya fight?" she asks Black Fox.

"I mean. Is there an evil cat empire or something? I mean. You two are both kinda canines? I could see that! I mean /cats are jerks!/" she insists.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Cute Wolf Tsukiko thinks about a certain egg-swiping catboy and nods. "They certainly can be, although I haven't heard of an evil cat empire," she clarifies, then looks over at Black Fox.

Ayana would tell her if there was such an evil empire, right? "/Are/ you secretly fighting an evil cat empire?" the wolfgirl asks hesitantly. She can understand keeping a secret from a friend if it's something that might put them in danger, but if Black Fox /is/ fighting an evil empire, wouldn't she want some friends along to help fight the empire? Of course, there might not /be/ an evil cat empire, but... how would she know? Augh!

Ayana has posed:
Black Fox blinks at Cute Wolf, but she's already got another mouthful of burger. She chews deliberately for a few moments, then swallows and says, "... no? Just that one cat boy that we fought. I don't thinkt here are any others." She peers at Cure Gull, then says, "Hey, wait, if there's an evil cat empire wouldn't you know about it first? Cats chase birds, right?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Corvus blinks. And then EIYAS! out. "Ah--you're right! Gull don't let me near any cats! ;V;"

"Of course!" says Gull with a grin. She reaches down to pick up the (now empty) burger bag and hands it Corvus. He puts it behind his back. You never see it again. Magic!

She head tilts. "Can I ask an odd question?" she asks sheepishly.

"Is it wrong to you..maybe--- uh? Use your magic for personal stuff?" she asks. "The boy working the burger stand I get burger stands gimmes a discount cuz he said he liked my dress and outfit and hair! I kinda forgot I was still Cure Gull I was tired. But. It also lemmes get a lotta burgers cheap." she says tapping two fingers in front of her.

"...and it was kinda cool for a boy to call me neat n' stuff too I guess." she says.

"I mean. That isn't.. bad is it?" she asks.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
A thoughtful expression settles on Tsukiko's face. "It's not why I'm a magical girl, but I wouldn't flat-out refuse a discount like that," she finally says after a few moments. "I wouldn't make a habit out of it, but if someone's going to insist on giving you a discount when you make an occasional visit, I don't see the harm in it."

And come to think of it, stopping by a place for a late-night snack while henshined might have the advantage of not drawing the kind of questions a gradeschooler might otherwise get for being up so late. Of course, blending magical life with everyday Tokyo still doesn't sound like a wise idea, so it's still not something that she would do on a consistent basis.

Still an interesting possibility, though.

Ayana has posed:
"Why would it be wrong?" Ayana asks Cure Gull confusedly. "These are your powers, and you can do whatever you like with them. I mean, you beat up a Youma earlier, right? Why shouldn't you get some kind of reward?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull looks down. "A Pretty Cure really shouldn't use thier powers selfishly, but it also just burgers. I mean. I can. I could just hate everything like another Cure I heard about and be really strong-- but then I'd have no friends because I'd be a big jerk!" she says with a curt nod.

She head tilts. "I mean...it was originally an accident anyways. Silly me forgot to put my cards and mirror away. Just everything smelled really good!" she says.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Cute Wolf Tsukiko nods understandingly. "A long day, a tough fight; when you're tired and hungry, you sometimes forget things. I've been there myself a few times," she notes, then giggles. "Besides, those burgers /were/ good!"

The wolfgirl gives Cure Gull another hug. "You're much nicer than the jerk you described," she smiles. "Being a magical girl is more enjoyable when you have friends, after all!"

That last is said with a nod towards Black Fox. She enjoys having Ayana around, even if the older girl does have several quirks about her.

Ayana has posed:
"Well hate would be silly," Ayana replies to Cure Gull amusedly. "But it's not selfish, honestly. You use your powers to save people all the time. Getting something in return isn't selfish, it's rewarding. That's totally normal! Don't /abuse/ it, but it's absolutely not wrong to use it." She smiles, then says, "Anyways, I need to go. T--err, My brother will be wondering where I'm at, soon. It was nice to meet you Pure Gull."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull looks down.. "Jerk...? No.. she's... she's in the same boat I am....Phantom took her older sister." she says meekly. "Just... she was lucky enough to...come across something that made her a Pretty Cure too. Blue said that there was no way someone that distressed on thier own could activate a love seed, alone...." she says softly.

"I just need to grab her before she runs away next time I see her. She doesn't wanna talk to me...."

"or really any Cure." she says meekly.

She looks to Black Fox. "Okay! I'll see you again soon!" she smiles.
