Synopsis:	Cure Gull meets Sailor Mercury for the first time after well--- everything that happened before 'Featherfall'! Apologies are given, pasts are left behind and burgers happen! Cure Gull gains +1 Homework Help. Sailor Mercury Gains +1 Weird Friend Point!

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
"Eeeeeek!" exclaimed Cure Gull. She was chasing some sort of black creature. It kinda looked like a dog with weird shoulder tendrils and reeked of dark energy. It had grabbed her Cheeseburger. Normally. This is not a thing worth chasing. Except that Cheeseburger is also attached to a silver raven, Corvus. "Ahhhhhh!" yells Corvus as he's flinged about by the running creatures.

"YOU PUT CORVUS-CHAN DOWN RIGHT NOW!" screams Cure Gull.

She lands on the roof of Seishou public school as she continues her chase. She's starting to catch up! But maybe someone else might be closer enough to zap this thing. Maybe with bubbles or water or something!

She KNEW burgers would get her in trouble eventually!

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Mercury Aqua Freezing!" A voice calls from nearby. A sudden shroud of frost engulfs the area near the tendril-dog, slowing it and nearly freezing it in place. Corvus, likely, will also be frozen, but Mercury's magic is more controlling than damaging, at least! Corvus will be fine.

Sailor Mercury drops down onto the roof from a nearby higher building. The Mercury Goggles aren't even present, at the moment; for such a simple youma, she doesn't even need to analyze it. "Now, Gull! You can finish it!" she calls encouragement to the other girl.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull can run and jump pretty fast- and even with magical green wings- she can only move so fast---

Then something familar feelings slam into the dog and slows it down dramatically. Her eyes go wide and she blinks! --and... oh!?

She sort of blushes.."Uh..right...!" she says.

She spins the dial on her prebrace and calls out. "Gull Windy Burst!" she calls out, sending out a wave of wind and feathers from the palm of her hand as it rakes into the creature and rends it apart, sending Corvus tumbling to the ground. He blinks a bit. "Well. That wasn't fun at all." he says crossing his wings against his chest. "And also, my burger is gone." he insists.

Gull jumps up next to Corvus and scoops him up! She settles him back on her shoulder and takes a cleansing breath. "I dunno why it wanted your burger...." she says softly. She blinks. And turns around. Right!

"Oh---Sailor Mercury...." she mumbles under her breath... "H...hi..." she says softly.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
With the creature banished, Sailor Mercury dismisses the wintry cold of her magic with a soft sigh. She reaches up to touch the earings on her right ear, and a blue goggle slides down from her tiara. Quickly, she scans the area, then nods her head. "I think that's the last we'll see of him," she says.

Turning back to Cure Gull, she offers a broad smile. "Hi," she replies after only a moment of inspecting the Pretty Cure. "I was nearby and sensed the dark energy. I hope you didn't mind a little help."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull seems sort of shy and 'awed' at Sailor Mercury. There's various reasons for this, but in the end the seafoam green colored Cure is sort of blushing a bit out of embarassment and shyness and other feelings. Corvus taps his beak. "You didn't happen to find a burger on your scanny thingy, did you?" asks the bird.

Cure Gull blinks! "Corvus.... that's rude!" she huffs.

"I--um. Hi! ..." wait she already said that. "Hi! Yeah I think it's gone. Else Corvus would-a told me by now- but he sems to care more about his food!" she insists.

"Uh---I... um...uh... erm...."

This continues on for a few more moments. It's clear the girl isn't uncomfortable- but she has trouble finding words. "um... has everything...been okay since.... stuff?" she asks. Oh yeah that's really helpful. She probably means like when 'Sailor Mercury helped put the bird back in the tablet.'.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Sailor Mercury gives Corvus a brief glance of amusement, then pulls a muesli bar out of a pocket. She kneels down to offer it to the bird in her palm, but it's Cure Gull that has her attention. "Um, hi," she replies as well, not entirely sure how to help the girl past whatever it is that has her so tongue-tied.

When Gull finally asks her question, Sailor Mercury looks up at her and blushes a bit. "I mean, shouldn't I be asking you that question?" she replies quietly. "A lot has gone on since then, but mostly ... it's been okay, I think. But you're the one who was in danger. How have /you/ been?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Sailor Mercury probably understands some base level of shyness Haruna is. Cure Gull is just Haruna, except Seafoam green. But really- that's most Mahou Shoujo, right? She blushes. "I guess. I. Everythings been really good--- I just...." she just trails off-- and she just does the thing that everyone who's helped got at least once. That is she rushes over and gives Mercury a tight hug. She doesn't try to squeeze Mercury to death.

"T-thank you....for the help. I don't want you...to be upset for hurting me that one time..." she murmurs a bit. "I needed stopped and stuff..." she says softly. She releases Mercury from a Gull Windy Hug!

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Oh my goodness," says Sailor Mercury at the sudden hug, and for a moment she seems uncertain of what to do. But then she realises that the best answer is the easy answer, and hugs Cure Gull back. "Haruna," she says quietly, then gently ruffles the girl's hair. "You're welcome," she says after a moment. "And thank you, too. For believing in yourself, and letting us help you. And for finding the good in a bad situation. I'm really happy you're okay. And I'm really glad to be your friend. Whatever happened before just doesn't matter anymore. All that matters is that you're okay, now."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Corvus taps Gull to stop her hug early. It isn't her intention to make Sailor Mercury awkward- though she's probably SUPER succeeding at that unintentionally. "Sailor Mars...just told me you were tore up about that in the past....I didn't want you to think I was upset or anything. I did a lotta stupid stuff....." she pauses and crosses her arms. "for a very stupid bird!" Corvus looks a little shamed. She grins a bit. "Of course---he's a lot better now and also my close friend!" she beams. Corvus looks less shamed. Also maybe blushes. Gull begins feeling a little better about this now.

"Uh...what School do you go to!?" she asks! "I bet someone smart like you goes to Infinity, right!?" she asks wide eyed.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Sailor Mercury leans back against the wall, casually, and smiles at Cure Gull. "Well I did," she says faintly. "I didn't realise what all you were going through, back then, and those children ..." she trails off. "But like I said, that's in the past. I don't want to dwell on it any longer; that's not who you are."

"Actually," she replies to the question, "I just go here, to Seishou. That's why I was in the area when you were chasing that monster." She reaches up to touch her earing, and the Mercury Goggles slide back up into her visor once again. "I never really thought about going to Infinity, and all of my friends are here, so it just made more sense."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull nods matter of factly. So does Corvus at the same time. She doesn't mention it again! Instead, she talks about the more intresting school question.

"Really!?" she asks. "Huh. I mean. That makes sense, if your friends are here!" she smiles widely. "I go to Infinity. I--um." urk. She just decided she wasn't gonna talk about the past again- so she glosses over it best she can. "I got special permissions of sorts to attend. Like a scholarship of sorts." she says. "I guess it's sorta silly because I'm not super smart...or have any special talents. I mean. I understand everything they teach me!" she insists.

"But I'm not there on my own merits..." she sheepishly admits. "Hey...what are. Those googles for?" she asks.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Yeah, well, I also attend Cram School," Mercury replies, a little shyly. "But I'm sure you are a lot smarter than you think you are if you're at Infinity. They would only let you in there if you were smart enough, and a scholarship! That's a really big deal."

Reaching up, Sailor Mercury activates her goggles again, then explains, "They're augmented reality. They're attached to a computer that I can use to analyze and catalogue everything I see. I can use them to detect magical auras and energies, as well as view the world through various spectra beyond visual light. It can overlay information on what I'm seeing, and provide statistical analysis on my allies and opponents. For example, I used them after our brief fight with the--dark beast?--the dog we just fought, anyways, to detect whether there were any lingering magical presences. I only sensed the three of us, so I knew we were safe."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Or because 'Your sister died in the accident that blew up the former school that existed there before'. That's generally a good reason. Of course. Aki isn't actually dead! That's gonna be really hard to explain when she saves her from the Phantom Empire....but she listens to Sailor Mercury.

"...Oh! So it's like your Corvus!" she explains. Corvus shakes his head. "Not quite. That sounds a lot more complicated, really. I can just detect bad energy. And store PreCards. And create PreCards from freed happiness." he says.

"Well...uh. I guess." she says sheepishly.

She smiles widely at Sailor Mercury. "Can...I ask a personal question...?" she asks softly.

"What exactly...is a Sailor Senshi?" she asks. "Is it like a Pretty Cure...? Like did someone choose you to protect something?..." she asks softly. "If you can't answer me. That's okay!" she smiles.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Mercury studies Corvus for a long time, analyzing the familair for a long moment before shaking her head. "He's right, it's not quite the same. But I use them in a similar manner to how you use him, just ... it requires more work on my part, I think. The data doesn't get analyzed automatically; I have to write the algorithms that perform those computations, enter the parameters that it judges by, and sometimes guess at what I'm seeing, until I have a good baseline.

"Sailor Senshi," Mercury continues, repeating the phrase thoughtfully. "Honestly, I've been one for a while now, and I still don't know the whole answer to that question. We were all chosen to bear these power scepters that allow us to transform. They connect us to the power of our associated planets; mine is Mercury, for example, and I'm able to use it for transformations and, of course, my water and ice powers."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull head tilts and smiles! "Well, even if you don't know... you help a lot of people! And that's all that matters, right!?" she smiles and bounces on her toes a moment. "I'm... a Pretty Cure. That's---- it's confusing. Because some groups of Pretty Cure are different. Like. There's this group that protects a place where all the fairy tales in books live! and There's a group trying to save a Dessert Kingdom!...." she says. "I'm... I'm one of Kami-sama's Cures. We protect Earth from the Phantom Empire- that wanna wipe Happiness from Earth- and lots of other good things like that--- and we're also trying to save the Blue Sky Kingdom.... but there's not a lot we can do about that right now. Cures are powerless there...." she says quietly.

She hops on her toes again! "But. I can do it! Me and Sailor Moon kicked one of those jerks in the face the other day! It was so /awesome/!" she says. "Also, we ate burgers after!" yes, that's def. a Sailor Moon thing she would want.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Blue Sky Kingdom?" asks Sailor Mercury curiously. Her eyes seem to be scanning something on her visor, rather than looking at Cure Gull, for a moment. She frowns, then arches a brow and leans forward just a little. Mercury's eyes refocus on Haruna, and she offers a curious expression. "What's the Blue Sky Kingdom?" she asks curiously. "Is that where your powers come from?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull head tilts and looks down. "Kami-sama really doesn't like talking about it.... but it's another... world?" that's the best description she has for it. "That was over-run by the Phantom Empire- and they're using it as like... a base? Thier next stop is here...." she says softly. "Kami-Sama is trying to protect Earth from them... Kami-sama.... Blue-sama.... is the Guardian Diety of Earth. All of us just call him Kami-sama... God." she says softly. "Our powers-- at least.. Kami-sama's Cures... stem from here... not another kingdom!" she smiles. "It's why there's so many of us!" she says with a series of nods!

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Huh," Mercury's oh-so-eloquent reply comes, and for a moment she says nothing. "That's really interesting," she admits after a moment of thought. "I wonder ..." she trails off, then smiles again at Cure Gull. "Hey, actually, do you have a way to contact me, or any of the Senshi? Just because we've got our own problems doesn't mean we shouldn't keep in contact, just in case. I can give you my cell phone number, if you'd like it."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull smiles! "Well...Sailor Mars... and Sailor Jupiter did.. and also shared with me who they are!" she nods. "They trust me a lot. But I don't expect you all to trust me--- and I know some of us find it easier to keep the two...um. 'Lives' seperate- and that's fair." she says with a series of nods. "And I know Tuxedo Kamen, too. Hes... he's a very nice person too." she blushes a bit.

"Um." she digs for her Cure Line. "What's your number..?" she asks.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"They told you?" Mercury asks thoughtfully, then considers that a moment. She rattles off her phone number, then asks, "What do you know about Tuxedo Kamen, anyways?" She reaches up to put her goggles away once more, still considering Cure Gull.

And while the girl is considering her answer, Mercury makes a decision. After all, she knows full well who Cure Gull is. Fair is fair. Sailor Mercury reaches up to touch her tiara, banishing her henshin. She is, of course, still in a fuku, but a far more mundane one: just the usual fuku of a Seishou Public Middle Schooler. And she's smiling, blushing just a little, as she allows Haruna to see her true form. "I'm Ami," she introduces herself. "Ami Mizuno."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull beep beep beep~ The Cure Line gives a pleasent tone as she adds the number. "I know he's a nice person who helped me when I didn't deserve it.... and when he had more important people to protect." she says plainly. She smiles.

She nods. "Uh-huh! Rei-chan and Mako-chan told me!" she says, prattlng off thier names. She knows they know one another. She's just trying to prove it so she seems to not be shady.

She blinks a bit though... Ami...Mizuno?

Ami Mizuno, #1 Honor student of Seishou Ami!? Mensa Genius Level Ami!? She's Sailor Mercury!? She looks kind of dumb-founded for a bit... "Sooo coool!" she says with wide eyes at Ami. Ami already knows who she is, so she doesn't drop her henshin. She will if Ami asks though.

Then she blushes. "Ah---I..I'm sorry! Just! I know who you are! You top charts and stuff!"

She sort of blushes. "So-sorry."

"Not meaning...to. uh. fangirl?" she admits sheepishly.

Corvus rolls his eyes good naturedly.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami blushes at the reaction. She hadn't expected to be /recognized/, even if she is relatively well-known among the honor student and chess societies. "It's okay," she says a little hesitantly, depsite her discomfort. "I'm just a student, like you, though," she tries to downplay it. But yes, I am at the top of my class, I suppose." And one of the top chess players in Japan. No big deal. "If you ever need help with your homework, though, now you've got my phone number. I'd be happy to tutor you; maybe I can make up for hurting you." Wasn't she supposed to forget about the past?

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull huffs! She seems to act like something sharp pricked her. "I...no. No I refuse on those grounds!" says Cure Gull. She doesn't sound angry. Maybe a little distressed- but she isn't yelling. "You don't have to...make up for anything! I should be making stuff up to you!" she says wide eyed at Ami. "--and your friends...! and everyone else I hurt." she says as she looks down.

"Um....so yeah! If you wanna help me. That's fine! But...not because you feel obligated because I was silly stupid witch priestess for a bit!" she exclaims.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami hesitates for a moment, staring at Cure Gull as if she's just not sure what to make of the girl. And then, after a moment, she starts to laugh. It's not a mocking laughter, but truly as if something has tickled Ami's fancy. The pure happiness of the laughter rings true to the Pretty Cure, but after a moment, she works past it to simply smile at her friend.

That smile lingers for a moment before Ami finally explains, "I'm sorry, it's just that we're so busy trying to apologise to one another for our previous mistakes, and ..." she trails off, then takes a deep breath. "Would you like to go for burgers, Haruna? Maybe I can help you with your homework just because we're friends. I mean, only if you need it. But for now, I would like a burger, and I'd bet Corvus would, too."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Corvus. "I would like a /triple/ cheeseburger." he insists.

Cure Gull giggles. "I...sure! We can do that." she says with a smile. "I know a neat stand in the harbor district- the guy there doesn't seem phased by um. Costumed Magical Girls." she says with a series of nods. "I may have accidently ordered a burger after a really tiring night and he asked me about my dress and I was all freaked out for a bit. But the guy's really nice! I dunno his name...." she says meekly.

"Sailor V says that he probably has a crush on me..." she murmurs. This is not surprising to anyone.

"Let's go!" she says.

"...uh. You gonna transform- or... should I carry you?" she smiles.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Well Ami had expected to go somewhere much closer, but she's not going to argue with Gull's enthusiasm. So instead, she merely shrugs and draws her wand back out. "Mercury Power, Make Up!" she declares. In only a few moments, Sailor Mercury stands on the roof beside Cure Gull once again. "Lead the way," she says with a smile.
