Cast of Characters: Hannah Sharpe, Ayana

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Though she goes to quite some length to protect her real identity, true close friends and her co-workers seem to be a major exception for one Hannah Sharpe a.k.a. Miss White. Thus it is that she's asked the good foxess into her 'home', such as it is. Like all Infinity U apartments, it's clean and spacious for such a place, given the amount of money and talent required to be here.

Particularly clean, and indeed, orderly. The living room has a couch, a tv and a large table beside it where the various remotes are all in exact places with little braille labels on them, there's a set of bluetooth headphones, and even a small piece of plastic to put cups on so rings don't get on the nice wooden table. The bathroom, and especially the kitchen keep up the theme with labels everywhere and almost obsessive order.

If one were to peak into Hannah's room, they'd note that in addition to all of this, there's a ton of plushies. Someone has a secret hobby, it seems.

For now, dressed in a thick bathrobe and hair still wet, the rain pounding outside,Hannah is in the kitchen, cooking up a storm while Boris sits in the hallway, waiting on the sound of certain foxes!

Ayana has posed:
Ayana had not planned on it being *wet* when she agreed to join Hannah. Luckily, foxmagic has given her the ability to change her clothes on demand. Unluckily, this does not prevent her from getting *wet*.

So it is that a very miserable looking raven-haired girl knocks at Hannah's door, neck and shoulders hunched, black fox ears drooping (and dripping) to either side, dressed in a knee-length plaid skirt in the Infinity school uniform style, black tights, and a hoodie. She's soaking wet from head to toe, and leaving a puddle behind as she stands in the hallway, knocking at the door.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Poor, poor foxes! When there's a knock at the door, a doggie-eye peers in the little peep hole, and then woofs! Woof woof!

"Can you get that, Boris?" Calls Hannah.

The Familiar puts all his weight just right on the door handle, and in it comes, Boris giving a woof and then turning around. There's a doggie frown.

"That you Ayana-chan? I'll be a minute or two, make yourself comfy! Towel's on that small table by the coat rack, and if you're really soaked, feel free to steal the bathroom and get a robe! I have extras near the towel rack in there! It's to the left of the bedroom!"

The sounds of cooking and some form of meat being cooked easily heard. The smell of what might just be fried chicken fills the air.

Boris is quick to lead in Ayana.

"Little black is good, da?" Comes the dog, tail wagging.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana enters and ditches her backpack and shoes just inside the door. "It's me," she calls back to Hannah. She peels off the wet hoodie and hangs it from the coat rack, revealing a loose white blouse underneath that has luckily been spared the rain.

"Hi, Boris," she says to him after responding to Hannah. "Hey, do you think she likes pepperoni, or sausage better? Cause I brought both but I kinda wanna keep one for myself."

She grabs the towel and starts drying her hair, skirt, and long fluffy tail right away.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Boris whispers to Ayana conspiratorially.

"Give her the sausage! Pepperoni is tastier, share with Boris!" Doggie woof!

Finally, Hannah pulls the last bits of tonight's dinner from the frying pan, bringing out two plates. One is a plate full of fried chicken wings, a bowl full of sausage gravy right there, and another plate heaped with steak fries. There's also plates for both girls. Thank goodness for lots of exercise and the metabolish of youth.

"Eat up, Ayana-chan! Don't let this stuff get cold! Especially the fries."

She sits down unceremoniously, and after a quick prayer, starts devouring some chicken. Nom nom nom!

"Thanks for coming. Hope the food's alright. How've you been? I don't get nearly enough time to just have some fun with others in our...ah, occupation."

Ayana has posed:
Ayana grins at Boris and ruffles the dog behind the ears, then pulls a sausage roll out of her backpack. With the towel still on her head, Ayana pads her way towards the table, then offers the stick of meat to Hannah. "I brought this," she says to Hannah optimistically. "I hope you will like it."

And without wasting another moment, the foxgirl puts her hands together loudly, declares, "ITADAKIMASU!" and digs straight into the food. Within seconds, her mouth is full to bursting, and she's forced to slow down long enough to chew and swallow.

Oh right, polite conversation is supposed to happen over dinner. Ayana makes a point of showing Hannah that she is chewing as quickly as she can, then swallows what is probably too large a lump of food, flails her fingers a little, drinks a little, then grins at Hannah, the tips of her fangs just showing. "Hee."

"I've been okay," she replies finally. "Takashi still has me pretending to be a magical girl, and I've made a lot of friends. I don't think they're all evil, after all. But a lot of them aren't very good, that's for sure." She hesitates a moment, considering something, then shakes her head. "How about you? How have you and Boris been?"

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah takes it after a mental prod from Boris, the girl sniffing it and then grinning.

"Ooh, sausage! Not bad! Thanks Ayana!"

She's quick to unwrap some of it, carefully cutting it up and adding it to one of the plates!

"Good, he's keeping you busy! Heh, finally recovered from that little 'accident' at the Nationals. We won! Youma or no youma!" Hannah grins widely.

"Hey, friends are friends. Evil, good? I don't count those kinds of things. Everybody reaches for their dreams in their own way."

Fries! A quick dip, smothering them in sausage gravy, and she's devouring them all.

"Nothing too spectacular, been keeping my head down after that little explosion in the harbor. Research has hit a dead-ish end. I'm missing too much information about Puella Magi even with one on staff. They're not exactly the forward-thinking types, you know?"

Boris, for his part, has stolen some fries.

He also snorts. "Keeping White Kitten's head on straight! Either drag out from lab, all passed out after dissecting youma, or stopping from throwing book, clipboard, and office desk at stupid employees. White Kitten is as fierce as is stubborn!"

Hannah scowls! "H...hey! I'm not that bad!"

She huffs a moment.

"Say, uh, Ayana. If it's not too personal, why are you fighting with us? Working towards some kind of dream or goal?"

Ayana has posed:
Ayana is listening, yes, but she's also continuing to stuff her face as fast as possible in expectation that she's going to have to *stop* next time it's her turn to talk. Meanwhile, the black hole that is her stomach eagerly awaits more food.

As expected, the foxgirl's turn does come again, and her ears twitch just faintly at the question. She raises her head from the plate to stare at Hannah, both sapphire eyes locked onto the woman uncertainly. "W...why?" she asks, as if the question were confusing to her. "I mean ... Takashi needs my help if he's going to clean up all the evil in this world and make it a safer, happier place. Ss....so ... that's why."

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Crunch. Hannah bites her french frie just as Ayana answers her.

The french fry falls to the floor as the girl just stares in utter confusion and disbelief. The thought of /Takashi/ wanting to clean up evil is completely and utterly obsurd. Cue long minutes of silence.

From Hannah, at least. Boris snickers, peers, snickers more, and then just rolls over with all four limbs kicking and howling in deep laughter until his doggie face goes blue. /Awkward/.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana's ears perk up alertly, and the kitsune looks between Hannah and Boris confusedly. It's enough of an unexpected reaction that she actually forgets to put more food in her mouth. "... What?" she asks, as if there were some secret joke she didn't get let in on.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Boris and Hannah meet their gazes. Hannah can't help it. The pair share another howling laughter fit, Hannah ending up on the floor, before finally as she breathes hard, she levers herself back onto the couch. Boris excuses himself, shutting a door, woofy laughter audible until he passes out.

"Y...you have some interesting ideas, Ayana-chan! Ahhh.../Anyway/! If you want to help Ta-kun..." Protect the world? Hah!

She drowns herself in soda to keep herself from going into another fit.

"Then that's fine. But you should do things for yourself too, you know? Have your own ambitions. Otherwise, you're just half-arsing it. Even Boris-kun there has his own desires."

Ayana has posed:
Ayana's ears begin to droop as the joke continues to elude her. "What?" she repeats quietly, but Hannah is busy on the floor laughing indecently. Ayana ducks her head a little and puts food in her mouth, because food cures all problems. Eventually, Hannah 'explains', and Ayana looks back up towards her, only to remain just as confused as before. But it seems Hannah will not be spoiling the joke.

And besides, there's another topic at hand: Ayana's own ambitions. This is a scary topic; the kind little fox familiars dare not dwell upon too hard. "I should?" she repeats quietly. One ear perks up, and her tail wags just a little, self-consciously. "I don't ... really know what I would want. I just ... want to make Taka-kun happy. Everything is right when he's happy."

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
It's time for Hannah to devour some food, but she never stops listening. By now, almost all the fries are gone, as are the chicken! She's down to chewing on sausage and mopping up sausage gravy.

"Well..." Nom nom swallow.

"That's all well and good, but just consider it, okay? I mean, you're his right? And for him to be happy, you need to be happy. Trust me, if Boris in there wanted something and it hurt him to not have it, I'd fight for him. Because a mage and a Familiar are partners for life. The best kinds of friends. They fight for each other, for each others' dreams and ambitions. It's not a one way street, Ayana-chan. At least, that's what I think."

Reeach. Blink. A tail!

Hannah grins, and if Ayana doesn't stop her, she's cuddling that fluffy tail and pet-pet-petting it!

"You're so soft! Anyway, ahem!"

"It's not like you need to answer right now. Just realize you deserve your own ambitions too."

Ayana has posed:
"Okay," Ayana says, furrowing her brow thoughtfully. Because now she is thinking about it, and has no idea what she really wants with her life. She's distracted, which leads to Hannah getting free access to her tail.
... which leads to Ayana practically jumping in surprise. "Ack!" It's not that she minds, she just didn't expect it. But that quickly becomes not a thing, because having her tail petted is one of her favourite pastimes. Ayana blinks a little, and then the petting begins to have an effect. Her eyes droop, and she leans towards Hannah just a little on the couch.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
"That's a good girl!" Comes Hannah, just as Ayana leans in. As it turns out, Hannah is quite comfy in that big old bath robe, hugging both tail and fox into her arms! Ears and tail get scritches before she too finally falls asleep, a certain fluffy Siberian husky padding in.

Boris smiles, and curls up at the two's feet, completing the comfy, warm pile of friendship.
