Cast of Characters: Ami Mizuno, Daisuke Hansuke

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke and Ami Mizuno have found a ROOFTOP for experimentation. Mainly Seishous. Daisuke is sort of head tilted as he looks back towards where the ocean is. You can juuuuust see it over the buildings.

He turns back and takes a deep breath.

"SO---Doctor Mizuno" he says , playful tone. "How does this testing work?" he asks softly.

He seems a little more at ease than earlier. He looks a flustered and tired in somewhere on his face- but the mood is stablized and right now, that's for the best.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"First," Ami says, then sets her bookbag down, "I should give this back." She starts to take off the jacket she's been wearing, now, for days. "It's yours, and I keep forgetting to give it back to you." With a faint smile, Ami offers the jacket to Daisuke.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke takes it back with a soft nod. "Sure." he says. Then he blinks a short moment. "Wait, you've been wearing it all this time?" he asks with a faint blush. He takes it and folds it up and puts it to the side. He's not feeling chilly at the moment. He'll probably need it going home though. He didn't take his car- he just walked along with Ami this time.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami blushes a little at the question, then shrugs. "I was trying not to forget," she tells him quietly. Reaching up, she pushes her hair back behind her ear, then smiles. "I forgot anyways, because we keep being distracted by other people. But I shouldn't keep your clothes. It's not appropriate," she tells him softly.

Even if it did smell nice for the first day or two.

"Ah-ah-anyways," she stammers, then reaches into her pocket. "Do you want me to run a few tests?"

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke smiles. "I wouldn't had minded. Just a jacket. But sure." he says gently.

He head tilts. "Yes, please." he says. "I dunno what you intend to do, but I trust you. I can promise you that." he says softly. "Just lemme know if something is going to pinch." he says.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami reaches into her bookbag and pulls out her tablet computer, then flips it open. From seemingly nowhere, she pulls a visor, and affixes it over her face. "I'm going to scan you," she says quietly as the system boots up. "You won't feel a thing," Ami promises.

A moment later, she's reviewing dozens of data points about him: blood pressure, respiration levels, blood type and perspiration. The world of medical science would kill for a tenth of the power of the Mercury computer. After a moment, Ami frowns a little at what she sees, then admits, "Well, it's about what I'd expect, given how worked up you've been recently, but I don't see anything chronic. But," she notes, "your blood pressure is elevated above what should be the normal for someone who isn't very athletic, as are your perspiration levels."

She reaches up to remove the visor again, but doesn't put it or the computer away.

"Three things you need to do," Ami tells him gently. "First, you need to learn to meditate. I find meditating for thirty minutes, an hour before bedtime is very helpful to relax my mind. Some people prefer to do it in the mornings. Whatever you prefer, consider it Senshi's orders, for now. Second, in addition to keeping a dream journal for Vwe-chan, I want to conduct additional scans of you every few weeks so that we can establish an ongoing baseline, and verify whether this is normal for you, or whether the elevated blood pressure is noteworthy. Finally, if you start to experience extreme anxiety or panic, I want you to apologize to whomever you are with, and execuse yourself to the bathroom. There, you are to meditate, breathe easy, and text me or Mamoru-san if you need more help. Can you do this?"

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke head tilts. "Meditate? I can try." he says honestly. Daisuke isn't a closed minded type, persay. Though he is hesitant. "Can you teach me at least? Or is it just sitting there and not doing anything?" he asks a little more ashamedly. "I'm sorry." he says. "I feel like this is a thing I should know because it looks simple in things like movies." he says.

He takes a series of nods and takes a deep breath. "I'll do that then." he says. "I can get the blood pressure bit. Felt like I was going to faint a few times and---just..nrg." he says.

"Just...things." he says. "About Mio. And--- Chiba is right. I mean. She wasn't trying to hurt me or anything--- and--- I didn't call her out on these feelings I had. I just. Found it hard to stop me from thinking them. Maybe it'll be easier if I run into them again? I don't know. They wanted to adopt the dog too, if we couldn't find an owner- and I agreed to help he with dog care if she came by later." he says closing his eyes.

"Even if I didn't feel comfortable at the time. I try to be kind to people when I can. I may not like some people, but I like to think everyone deserves some kindness." he says softly.

"I just... feel like this--- this is hard from this side. I have to lie now? and just deal with people mistrusting me off the bat? I'll learn to deal with this. This is my problem." he says sort of brushing a hand up his face and along his bangs a bit.

"So is the bathroom a fortress of solitutde when you're uh. magical?" he asks with a soft teasing smile.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"It's never easy," Ami tells Daisuke quietly, "but it is something you need to just get used to. If you aren't comfortable lying, then just say 'I cannot answer that question.' Instead of calling the police, call me or Mamoru-san. We will help you take care of these things so that you don't have to. But ultimately, you should not reveal what or who you are. There are people out there who can and will try to hurt you--or hurt me through you. Or worse.

"I know that you are still struggling with all of this, Daisuke," she continues, "but it has been a week, and you are still very fretful. You absolutely must learn to accept that this is who and what you are, now. Secrets are a part of our lives. Keeping them is vital. No more excuses, no more complaining that it sucks. It does suck, we all know. And then we get over it, because there are monsters out there that need dealing with. Tokyo isn't safe. Earth isn't safe. And people need Asclepius."

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke sighs. "Yeah." he says as he sort of sits on the edge of the rooftop and rests his hands on his lap. "I'll do my best. Something tells me I'm still not done being amazed at some of this all." he says. "But I'll do my best to just suck it up." he says trying to look brave.

He succeeds. A little. Not much.

"Asclepius still feels strangely right for a name. I dunno why. Tuxedo Kamen just called it out to me." he says. "But it's better than...." he cracks a smile. "Snake Staff. That was a lame name." he says.

He looks down. "Ami can you tell me about when you um. I dunno what the name is for it. 'became empowered'? 'Awoken'?..." he asks.

"I already told you my story, right?" he asks softly. He squints. "Oh, right I made a copy of the research I did on the staff but. It's really boring unless like. You want to travel to another country to visit some old dig site or something." he giggles a bit.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"We usually say 'activated' or 'awoke'," Ami replies quietly. She finally puts the Mercury Computer away, back in her bookbag, then settles down to sit on the wall next to him. "I ... was playing the Sailor V game," she explains thoughtfully. "It was the first time I'd ever played video games at all, and once my friend explained how to play it, to me, I well ... I beat it," she explains, a little shyly.

"Anyways," Ami continues, "out popped a pen with the symbol of mercury on it, as a prize. I kept it for a while, until ... one day, Sailor Moon was fighting something terrifying, and Luna just yelled at me to transform. She told me the words to activate the pen and ..." she trails off, then shrugs a little. "I was able to help Sailor Moon defeat what she was fighting, and we became fast friends." Best friends.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke thinks this over. "I see. Well. Considering my staff came in a box of old junk and it was making a mess just due to how dirty some of the stuff was, I suppose there's sillier stories out there. Though my story sounds really dull and boring by comparison." he sort of taps his chin a bit.

"I don't know if I belive in fate and stuff..." he admits. "Really. A lot of this is making me question stuff like that. Was I supposed to find the staff? Did it find me? Did I find it? I think I'mma gonna stop this before I get loopy~" he says teasingly.

He looks up, for a change.

"To be honest- finding out Sailor V is real was kinda neat." he admits. "I kinda wanna ask Vee for her autograph but- I think she'd sign it to like 'silly boy' or something." he says with a grin. "Can she beat her own game?" he asks curiously.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Dunno," Ami replies honestly, then nudges Daisuke gently. "You should ask for her autograph. She'd be really pleased. Venus loves having fans and admirers. I think you upset her by saying Sailor V wasn't real." She smiles a little, then says, "I think you may have been destined to find the staff. Or maybe it's the other way around. But you have it now, so it doesn't matter why."

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke Squints at Ami. "I think she knows that game has gotta be rigged." he insists. Teasing. "Third level, I'm telling you." he says. He smiles. "I'm going to try to speak to the person Chiba-san pointed me to. I'm going to do it in henshin. I'm going to keep my interactions in henshin. I think I need to practice this- so- I'm going to try." he says.

"--and if they ask me who I am, well..." he takes a little breath. "I guess I'll deal with it then." he smiles. Then he pauses.

"Thank you, Ami, for keeping me grounded this past days." he says softly. "I wish I had some better way to express this than thank you, because I feel it deserves more--- but when you need me. I'll be there. I promise." he says more sternly.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami shrugs just a little at his thanks, but she smiles nonetheless. "You're welcome," she tells him honestly. "Keeping my friends grounded is ... what I do, I guess. They really are all that crazy, in their own way, but I love them dearly. Someone has to keep them grounded." She shrugs a little, then tells him, "You are my friend, too. If you need someone to keep you grounded, well ..." she trails off.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke hears this and nods. "And your friends keep you grounded." he says softly. He smiles and bows to Ami, as he stands up. He grabs his coat and puts it on. "After I try to talk to Virture tommrow, I'll text you and let you know how it went. I also need to let you read my dream journal---or Vee, or--- whoever wants to look at it." he says.

He pauses a moment and digs around a moment in his pockets and grumbles..."Mrgh----I. forgot something- darn it. Can you remind me about that tommrow?" he asks.

"Something. It's a surprise." he insists.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami tilts her head as Daisuke stands, but neither moves to join him nor stop him. She turns and watches him, then smiles. "Vee will read it. I'm just going to ferry it to her. I don't ... think I should read your journal. I don't think it would be appropriate. Who is the surprise for?"

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Daisuke Hansuke grins. "You!" he says. "Don't worry. It's nothing major. I did a volunter thing at the aquarium the other day and they gave me this silly little keychain and I figured you might like it. You don't need to accept it. It did make me think of you though." he shrugs.

"I'm running away now before I embarass myself further but really, I dunno if could top earlier. Make sure Usagi didn't die of embarrassment, okay!?" he says as he makes for the door.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami blushes a little. She legitimately never consiered it might be a surprise for her. And even if it is silly and simple, it's still something for her. "She'll be fine," Ami murmurs, reaching up to feel the warmth of her own cheek. But she really will call Usagi later to talk about it. She lets him run away, though; and stays on the roof herself a while longer.
