Three Things You Can't Live Without
Date of Scene: 06 November 2015
Location: Pikarigaoka/Uminari City - Hikawa Shrine
Synopsis: After school, the Senshi (and Mamoru) congregate at the Shrine for a meeting. Once a hugpile-slash-pillowfight happens, Mamoru quietly nopes out. Glorious ridiculousness ensues!
Cast of Characters: Mamoru Chiba, Minako Aino, Makoto Kino, Ami Mizuno, Usagi Tsukino, Rei Hino

Rei Hino has posed:
Outside the shrine, everything is peaceful. Crows perch upon the trees, leaves fall onto the stone pathway, and a gentle breeze washes over the area.

Inside, however, is a much different story. Much like this morning, Rei and her grandpa are arguing, loudly.

"I don't like you bringing strange people home late at night, Rei-chan. And a boy, too! What were you thinking? What would people say if they knew?"

"Ugh just shut up it's not that big a deal!"

"It's a huge deal! I can't believe you'd be that irresponsible! Why can't you be more reliable?!"

Rei turns around suddenly, enraged and pointing at him , "Listen here, you--!"

The teapot whistle goes off. Grandpa says, "You're making tea?!"

"Just shut up already my friends are coming over."

Rei storms off. Grandpa scratches his chin. Rei mutters about 'irresponsible' and 'unreliable' and 'if only you knew what I have to go through'.

This actually isn't as big a deal as it seems. Rei has a fight with her Grandpa like every other day. Her friends were going to see it sooner or later.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi is, after having not eating all day, an unbridled rabid ball of hunger and cranky pants.

Her fingers clench at her sides as she STOMPS up the shrine steps.

Stupid no food having day!

STOMP STOMP STOMP!

Across the court yard.

STOMP STOMP.

There'a a grumbly grandpa. Clenched teeth. "Thanks for having me last night!"

STOMP.

She finds Rei, teeth still clenchy and fingers still like claws. "Pleasant day we're having."

Logically she knows why she's cranky. But if she took it out on people, it just made her MORE cranky.

Plus, this headache doesn't help. She's pretty certain she looks like death warmed over.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
It's obvious Mamoru would rather be anywhere but here as he climbs up the steps to the shrine. Whether it's the screaming argument between Hinos that's audible from halfway down the steps or the ball of famished rage that actually stormed up the steps past anyone with longer legs -- like him, say -- is difficult to pin. He shifts his books uncomfortably. "It was literally less trouble for Rei-san if I stayed here than if you guys had to work out how to get me home, but now I'm not so sure," he mutters to Makoto, watching Usagi's pigtails fly behind her.

"And I have no idea what's got her so agitated. The hangover can't possibly have been that bad, she drank so much water..." Top of the steps, then the paved path and small plaza. And, doors. He reaches to knock, but will probably be interrupted because who does that.

Makoto Kino has posed:
Makoto, walking beside Mamoru, is still looking after Usagi with slightly widened, dismayed eyes. "...Maybe she's hungry?" Mako ventures in an uncertain undertone. Unfortunately if that's the problem, she's not currently equipped to help much, having come directly from school. Here's hoping Rei is prepared.

Makoto waits for Mamoru to knock, assuming he gets the chance.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino might have been out all night, but except for looking a little worn down, she's positively cheerful. A regular ball of energy and excitement. However she gets to Rei is unimportant - all that matters is she's hear to help. "I wonder which ones were 'strange' and which ones weren't," she says, mentally adding herself in to the 'awesome friends' category.

Either way, Rei-cheering is important. In a voice just loud enough to carry throughout the shrine, she speaks up: "Pssht, don't worry about it, Rei-chan. I take weird people and boys to shrines all the time," she says, double-thumbs up.

"You're a big girl now, it's the 90s, you're a cool Verone chick who DESERVES boys. I wish people talked about me as much as they do you. Your friends are high class, rich, popular people, not weird at all. Also, I'm a movie star."

She's really supportive.

Rei Hino has posed:
Grandpa Hino gives Usagi a suspicious look when she enters. He's about to say something, but a quick glare from Rei shuts him up. Instead he turns around and leaves without even responding to Usagi's greeting. Probably for the best. He's not around when the others show up.

Rei comes over with some fresh dumplings and offers one to Usagi. The smell of other foods permeates the air. Some of the stuff looks like what Rei was trying to make for breakfast. "Hey, glad to see you! How've you been today?"

Rei looks out a window, sees Mamoru and Makoto walking up the steps, walks over to the door, opens it before Mamoru can knock, grabs him by the upper arm and pulls him inside. She whispers loud enough for him to hear. "Get over here, Blueblood-san. Before he sees you again!"

Yes, Mamoru now has a nickname.

Still at the door, she sweatdrops a Minako, putting smiling but clearly confused. "Uh... right! So how is the movie business going anyways?"

She clearly missed the point of whatever Minako was trying to say, but at least she's distracted from thinking about her grandpa right now.

Makoto and Minako are both given the 'come in!' signal by Rei. She's hoping to quietly escort them to her room before Grandpa comes out again.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi's lip quivers as she takes the dumpling and holds it in her hand. "I knew you love me, Rei-chan."

She's sniffling as she scarfs it down, and at the end she's still starving but there's promise of food on the horizon.

Then Mamoru is hurled inside, and Usagi blinks at him. And Makoto and Minako when they enter. "How did you get here so fast? I didn't see you on the way in."

Outside of her friends' eyes, she either would have glomped or done something cranky at Mamoru. But she is held in place by Frenemies.

That, and he'd seen her raccoon face earlier...

She sneeks another dumpling.

Om nom!

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Probably... maybe..." he says to Makoto a little worriedly. Then Mamoru's hand comes down on empty air and he's bodily hauled inside, eyes wide, arm with the books in it flailing to help him possibly keep his balance. "I-- what?" A beat as he's straightening up and yanking his arm back from Rei, irritated face on all of a sudden. "Fine! Don't call me that. Is--"

Yes, Usagi is eating. And apparently avoiding looking at him. Mamoru's face sets, and he turns away and looks for where he can park himself and his homework out of the way of traffic.

No one's at the table. He goes and sits on the floor, not looking at ANYONE, NOT LOOKING, and with sudden glasses and furrowed brows, he unpacks his homework and immediately gets started on it.

Makoto Kino has posed:
"Huh--?" Makoto barely has a chance to blink in surprise before Rei bustles them - okay, mostly Mamoru, the one she's trying to hide - into the room. Mako herself ends up trailing in after, smiling bemusedly.

"...You came right past us," she says to Usagi, her smile growing despite herself. Usagi always seems to have that effect. "It seemed like you were in a hurry." Slipping past Mamoru, she goes to nab a dumpling before they're all gone, and finds herself a place to sit down. "Hi Rei-chan, Minako-chan."

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino just gives Rei a few tisks. "Tuggin' boys around. What would people say if they knew?!" she sings out, eating up dumplings too.

She has greetings for everybody. Nice and positive and ungrumpifying smiles and greetings.

"Blueblood-san. Mako-chan! Rei-chan! And hey party girl!"

Rei Hino has posed:
"Right right," says Rei to Mamoru, in response to his objections. "Whatever you say your-" She's about to say something else snarky but apparently decides against it.

Once everyone is safely in Rei's room, especially Mamoru, Rei vanishes again, coming back with a tray full of food. Dumplings (short a few that Usagi already ate), biscuits, cookies, and a few other easy-to make things. There's also tea and teacups for everyone. "Sorry about breakfast this morning. Hopefully this makes up for it."

Rei settles in at the table, leaning forward and rubbing her head.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
She clears her throat and blushes. "Whoops...sorry."

(And of course, even though she's avoiding looking at him, she knows where he is. And something has him grumpy. Could it be...she scared him to death with her raccoon eyes?!?! Curse make-up! Curse its inability to stay!)

And then, because Makoto, Usagi latches on her arm for a hug. "I'm sorry. I've been starving to death all day. But Rei-chan loves me and there's food. So I may still be a bit cranky."

Hug, hug, love.

And hug, hug, love for Minako!

And for Rei! (Twice, because food!)

And she can't hug, hug, love Mamoru, because even if he weren't a ball of cranky, Frenemies.

Still, hungry.

She taps her chin in thought and blinks at the apparently new nickname. It took her until the second time, having been so caught up in eating that she hadn't heard it the first.

Her nose crinkles as she sneaks various food into some napkins. "Nah, I don't like that for him. He's a jerk sometimes, but he's not all stuffy. So, Mamo-baka forever."

Well, forever around her senshi.

Odds are, Mamo-chan's mad at her for something.

Still, even as frightened of her raccoon face as he is, or as mad at her (for whatever) he is, she sets a napkin with dumplings on it next to him before sneaking back to the safety of Makoto's arm. She holds up her napkin in case the taller girl wants to steal some noms. (And, of course, she noms.)

And she may or may not peek every point-zero-two seconds at Mamoru, seeing if he's still cranky.

Then she blinks at Minako. "Party girl? I-I-what? I wasn't that bad!"

This time she looks directly at him, wondering if she had been! Is THAT why he's cranky?!

Makoto Kino has posed:
"It's okay," Makoto promises as Usagi latches onto her arm, and reaches out with her un-trapped hand to briefly ruffle her friend's hair. "We still love you even if you're cranky."

She will indeed sneak a treat or two from Usagi's napkin as she looks around to the others in the room, eyebrows lifting. "Seems like I missed some excitement last night, huh?"

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Oh dear, everyone else sat at the table too. He should've seen it coming. Oh no, Rei brought food for everyone, and he's hungry too. Oh, NO, Minako's calling him blueblood-san. And ohhh dear, Usagi's set dumplings next to him.

Mamoru sighs and reaches up to take his glasses off, making himself-- MAKING HIMSELF chill the hell out. Just in time, too, because after the discussion of the nickname and whether or not he's a baka or what, Usagi's looking RIGHT AT HIM and looking worried and--

"I have no idea what's going on," he says gravely, "don't look at me."

He reaches for the napkin of dumplings, eyes on Usagi, and waits until someone else says something -- anything -- and so maybe everyone will look away from him, and winks at her.

Then stuffs a dumpling in his mouth.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino just clucks her tongue in reply to Usagi. "If you have to ask how bad you were, then it was even worse," she says, spoken as if this were very reassuring.

She throws herself over Rei's bed and stretches out, pantomiming a yawn that slowly becomes a real yawn. "Thanks for the snacks, Rei-chan. You're gonna make a great mom someday!" she says, mouth only sometimes chewing food.

Rei Hino has posed:
Rei, fortunately for Chiba, did not see the wink. Or maybe it doesn't matter, as by this point trying to stop the UsaMamo romance is like trying to stop a train by standing in front of it.

When she finally lifts her head again, she says, "Yeah, Mercury got attacked last night. She was ambushed by a Puella Magi."

She looks over at Mamoru as she mentions the last part. She's heard about Puella mostly from him. "Are you sure you don't know anything about this? You've never heard anything from your friends or anything?"

Minako's comment makes her blush. "What? A mother?!"

She actually has no idea how to respond to that.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
With a happy hum, Usagi nuzzles Makoto's arm. "I love you, too!"

Mamoru's wink, oddly, (well, let's face it, nothing at all odd about it) diffuses the rest of her cranky. (Because, Rei, you are so right. Or trying to fill the grand canyon by spitting in it!) And a good chunk of her fear over raccoon eyes.

Still, she's gawping at Minako, face a bright red. "The punch was spiked! I only had two cups! And, before blame is placed elsewhere, it was done before they could stop me." And she's trying, hard to figure out if she did anything bad.

Aside from, you know, scaring Ayana away from the party and forgetting completely about Ami...

Yep. Worst Person Ever Award is still hers.

Shoulder slump and a stuffing of a cookie in her mouth so her words are mumbled. "I'm despicable."

Then she sighs and straightens up, and swallows her food.

"I think she's still recovering. She told me after school that she couldn't make it. She just...needs sleep."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"No, all I know is what Ami-san talked about last night, and the video she put up on Virtue. I haven't had a chance to talk to my friends about it yet, I've been in school fending off rumors," Mamoru says after swallowing hurriedly. Then he blinks at Usagi. "You're not despicable, jeez. There was so much political manuevering going on at that stupid dance it was like Game of Thrones or something. I'm still confused. And apparently some kid literally threw a table after we left. Rumor has it it was over a dance. But no one there could've been responsible for what happened to Ami, and I showed the picture around of that girl today and nobody knew her."

He drops his head into his hand and mumbles, "Which must've started seventeen rumors on its own... and I think the teachers were disappointed it wasn't an Infinity kid who spiked the punch, too. Everyone was cranky today."

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino only has a few more joking comments to make.

"If it was Game of Thrones, I shuolda' gone to it. Drinking, throwing up on tables, and taking pictures of girls? Mamo-san, maybe I should be teasing you instead of Bunny-chan about parties!" she comments.

"But you shouldn't discount anybody as not being responsible just because you some them somewhere. Could be a clever trick. I know a few people who can get around in a blink of an eye, and I know you guys know a few as well."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Playback from index twenty-three," Ami Mizuno's voice can be heard, as the girl makes her way up the walk towards the shrine. In her hands, the blue-haired girl holds a tablet computer with a sky blue case and the symbol of mercury around its camera. Just an ordinary computer? Not likely.

Ami's eyes are fixated on the computer as she makes her way up the walk, and nearly trips on the last step. The result is a solid knock on the door as she catches herself, followed by a more standard knock a moment later. She has changed out of her school clothes in favor of a long sweater-dress and a pair of black leggings and tennis shoes. She looks tired, but determined, staring at the screen.

Rei Hino has posed:
There's a knock on the door.

Rei quickly stands up, and bolts out of the room. Both the friends in her room and Ami who just arrived can hear Rei and Grandpa arguing over who gets to open the door. Rei apparently wins because Ami sees her smiling beaming face when the door opens.

"Ami-chan! I thought you'd be down a bit longer. Are you feeling okay?"

Rei takes Ami by the hand (a bit more gently than the way she handled Mamoru) and tries to lead her to her room, where the others are gathered. "Come in! Come in! Maybe you can have a dumpling if Usagi-chan hasn't eaten them all!"

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino hides herself under blankets so she can surprise Ami when she gets there. No Minakos in this shrine.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi grumbles. "Yeah, well I should have realized she hadn't shown up. She was supposed to meet me there. And she texted me, which I didn't read until this morning. So yes, someone at the dance was responsible."

She flashes him a glare at this and shows him her phone.

Ami-chan: Usagi-chan. There is a witch at the boardwalks. I should be able to take care of it, but if you haven't reached the dance yet I would not mind backup.

She doesn't blame him, of course, not in the slightest. But she is a horrible person, and dang nabbit, she's gonna take responsibility for it!

She also harrumphs at Minako. "It's my own fault I drank the punch. It was off, and even if I didn't know why, I still drank it." She places a grumpy chin on the table and pokes the rest of her food. She doesn't want to eat it (even if her tummy still occasionally rumbles.)

And then there's a knock. And she looks up as Rei ushers Ami-chan in.

Having just been speaking about how much of a horrible person she is, her lips quiver as she scoops up the rest of her treats and rushes toward Ami, shoving the napkin in the girl's hand, and clings to her as she walks to the table, in a sort of crab-walk shuffle. "Eat these. I didn't eat them all, Rei." Her raspberry is half-hearted at best.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"You should've gone to it," Mamoru says firmly to Minako. "You'd've been in your element and maybe I wouldn't've had to have been trying to orchestrate battle chess dance warfare in the background of pretending I'm a social human being while Usagi-chan was drinking spiked punch like it was going out of style."

There's a pause. He slides a glance toward Usagi.

"It was fun, though," he adds, pouring himself tea. Then he glances at Usagi's missed text while he's putting the teapot down, and joins Usagi in the feeling-horrible club. "... not as fun as you not getting splatted would have been," he says to Ami, subdued. "Sorry for being a distraction."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami looks up, actively surprised when Rei grabs her by the hand. "Wha?" she asks, as if surprised to find herself in Rei's presence at all. But didn't she knock? "I'm fine," she says, blinking a little as she is led in to join her friends.

Oh, but almost everyone is here. Ami smiles at Usagi and starts to go for a hug, but instead she finds Rei's hand quickly replaced by a napkinful of treats. Ami blinks down at the candies, then blinks at Usagi. She stares, silently, for a moment, before smiling faintly. "I'm okay," she tells her friends, "really. I was just a little tired after last night, and then when I got home I couldn't sleep so I sent that message out to Virtue, and I've sorta been playing the video on repeat since. I can't stop wondering who's pulling her strings."

Rei Hino has posed:
"You love me and you know it," says Rei, smiling widely as the two of them escort Ami. Once Ami is safely at the snack table she takes a seat and grabs a little cookie for herself.

"That was some video. Controlling Witches like that... you'd think a Puella who could do that would never have to worry about Grief Seeds again. Who could be controlling her?"

Rei looks around suspiciously. "... someone is missing."

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino reassures Ami about string pulling (she does this by jumping out and interrupting Rei halfway through her suspicious revelation, before she can ruin the surprise).

"Don't worry about it. If there's no way to find it out, don't puzzle yourself out over it," she screams. It's very calm but loud.

"In my experience, if you punch a puppet enough, the puppetmaster comes out."

For Mamoru: "If you think it would be helpful, you're free to invite me out to dances any time, hehehehe."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
She's feeling worse, and bad, and Mamoru's so not helping.

Only two cups...

But then he's saying he had fun, even if he's looking at Ami-chan all guiltily, so small victory! (Big victory, because yay, but shut up.)

She shrieks when someone jumps out, clinging to Ami like 'AMG SCARY SMOOSH IT' but it's Minako!

Growl!

And she's ushering Ami-chan to the table, telling her to sit, and she'll get her food! And maybe tea, because she thinks Rei made some!

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Mamoru sputters at Minako, which is most likely the desired effect. He can't even say words. Saying words would acknowledge That Which They Still Think They Are Hiding, or sounding like he's rejecting Minako which is just mean and she'll make a big deal out of it, and Ami will start huehuehue-ing any second now, and Rei will make annoyed faces, and basically--

--the kid gets the feeling that this is his life now and he should get used to it.

So he makes an effort to calm himself, sips his tea, and puts it down carefully. "It could be anyone, if she has family. But she distinctly said it was -her- life in danger, didn't she? Who could threaten a Puella who can control witches enough to make her do as they say? And yes, Minako-chan, it could've been someone very quick at the dance, but Ami-san never made it there at all, and wouldn't have been late. So it's a dubious proposition."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Don't worry, Ami is too busy shrieking in surprise to huehuehue right now. The candies go flying, the Mercury computer nearly goes flying, and Ami jumps backwards practically into poor Rei, dragging Usagi with her. "Minako-chan!" she scolds. "Don't scare me like that!"

Rei Hino has posed:
Rei suddenly finds herself under a pile of Mizuno-chan. "Ack! You guys!"

She carefully sits back up, catching some of the fallen foods, especially those that have fallen to the floor, and tosses them in the garbage. She's kinda pinned, so... she literally tosses them.

"If her life's in danger, and someone's threatening her, then I wonder what they want. The person controlling her, I mean. Apparently it involves killing Mercury-chan, or maybe it's just magical girls at random."

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino tries to snap her teeth at food flying towards the trash can, grabbing something in her mouth and taking a bit before flinging the rest, mouth-first, into the trash. It's sort of impressive.

"Did they hunt her down or was it just luck? Either way, it those little details don't matter if we don't got nothin' to go on."

"We just have to run headlong into this one, or wait for more information to surface. Any info hidden in the recording? Look like anybody you know?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi is pulled down! She is a human shield! She gives her live protecting her friends from an onslaught of candy! (And if she chomps on some in air, well hey. What can you do?)

She gasps and flouders a bit, though, because she's suddenly in a pile of girl.

"I think," she adds from her heap. "If it's someone looking to hurt our Ami-chan directly, we give them more than a stern glare."

Usagi would hunt them down and smash their...toes in.

"If it's magical girls in general, still more than a stern glare." But at least then, there wouldn't be a Bunny Vendetta out on their ass. Er, butt.

And then, because Ami-chan may be feeling...overwhelmed, she volunteers for something goofy. "I'll stay at Ami-chan's house~! For protection! Not for Bestie B-Movie Nights!" TOTALLY for Bestie B-Movie Nights.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"I'll talk to Homura," Mamoru says firmly, and starts getting up, then pauses and sighs. "Rei-san, is there someplace I can go to talk on the phone where I won't get you in more trouble with your grandfather?"

He is steadfastly ignoring the girlpile.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami tries to untangle herself from Rei and Usagi, and quickly verifies that the Mercury Computer is fine. Seeing as it is, she stretches to put it on an end table, then hugs Usagi gently before continuing to try and disentangle herself. "If you want to stay at my house tonight, you can. My mom will be home, though," for once, "so we'll need to try and keep it quiet while she sleeps."

Rei Hino has posed:
The phone? Rei ughs from the bottom of the girlpile. "You know, mostly we just use cellphones and talk wherever. If you want more privacy, the garden might be the best place to go. Just don't go to the fire pit. That's for divination and meditation and quiet times."

As Ami starts to disentangle herself, Rei also starts trying to slide out from underneath them. So much pile.

"He probably wont bother you. He only annoys me directly. Or cute girls if one happens to pass by. You should be safe."

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino slowly pulls herself from Rei's blankets and pillows towards the pile. She doesn't disentangle herself fully, so blankets and covers and pillows come dragging along behind her before she throws herself lightly over the group. More pile.

"Movies at Ami's? I suppose I'll bring some games, Usagi-chan'll bring the drinks 'cuz we know she's got that down, and motherly Rei-chan can bring the movies."

After a moment, she chews on her hair. "Mako-chan can bring Mamoru-kun, so nobody gets left behind."

"Anyways, Rei-chan is right. I got annoyed for like sixteen minutes, so I guess that makes me the cyuuuu-test," she declares.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi groans as tangled girls leave the pile. And then MORE pile! "Two drinks, Minako! Two!"

And she'll never touch anything like that again!

"I paid my dues with scary Raccoon Eyes this morning. Probably scarred poor Mamoru-kun for life!"

Hah, you thought she forgot about it!

Then she rolls up and hums. "Ami-chan-Mama could be easy to wake up. My house? My parents sleep like the dead."

They have taken a hands off approach since she started getting nightmares! Yay privacy!

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Finally, Mamoru picks himself up the rest of the way, finishing his tea and stashing his books under the table. "Okay. It's not so much privacy as I feel like I'd be being rude to both you girls and Homura if I tried to talk in here," he explains, STILL not addressing the girlpile, but very clearly having a serious moment of 'I need to leave right now omfg how to cope otherwise' due to its continued existence.

He takes his phone from his pocket and glances down at the half-buried Usagi. "Raccoon eyes?" he asks blankly, then shakes his head. "Never mind, I don't want to know." Then he heads out the door, calling over his shoulder, "I'll be back in a few."

A second later, he pokes his head back in and adds, "If you want to have movie nights or whatever, it really isn't a big deal, I can crash on Homura's couch. Or at a Virtue safehouse. Or at Hotori-kun's. Or really a lot of places. I do not," he finishes emphatically before ducking back out, "belong at sleepovers."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami has just about managed to get disentangled when, "ACK!" she is attacked by a pile of blankets and Minako. She falls right back down into the pile with Usagi and Rei, except now she's underneath a bunch of pillows and blankets, too!

"You're all welcome at my house any time," Ami agrees from beneath the blankets. "I'm sure my mother wouldn't mind as long as we're quiet." Yeah, she obviously has no idea how loud the five (six?!) of them will be.

Rei Hino has posed:
"I'm so sorry for my grandpa, Minako-chan," says Rei, very apologetically.

Then the girlpile increases in size and power. Rei whines, "I'm not ready to go to bed yet!"

She grabs a pillow and throws it at Minako. This probably isn't going to help her get out from under the pile.

To Mamoru, she says, "Yeah, I get it. It'll be hard to talk over all these noisy people." Says the girl who just threw a pillow.

"I... actually have some movies but... hey why am I the mother?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
What? WHAT?!

Usagi wriggles free of the Girl Pile and stomps toward the door where he'd escape from.

"You know what I mean by Raccoon Eyes, Mamoru!"

A hissed yelling whisper. She has NOT been worrying all day over NOTHING!

"And afraid we'll paint your toenails while you sleep you should be!"

More fist shaking!

Then she's stomping back and wrigging back under the Girl Pile.

She looks at Ami-chan.

"It's not quiet with just you and me. Add more to the mix."

To emphasize, she pokes Minako in the ribs. A few times.

And then she looks at Rei, wide eyes and innocence. "Because you're gruff, but you really, really do worry about us and love us?"

She is not sure if this is how Minako means it, but it is Usagi's interpretations!

Minako Aino has posed:
"Not gruff," she comments, also poking herself repeatedly, since it's the new thing to do. "It's 'cuz of your child-bearing hips," Minako Aino announces.

"And you don't gotta apologize. I like your family. I'm gonna visit lots," she promises to Rei, taking the pillow hit on the face the same way she took rib-poking, continuing talking entirely unphased.

She doesn't have much to say. At least not out loud. She does say, "Ooooooooooooooooh Homura," under her breath, though.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami covers her face with her hands, hiding from the flying pillow. "Uh, guys?" she asks gently from beneatht he tangle of blankets, pillows, and girls. "Are we talking about movies, the Puella, or boys?"

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino declares to Ami that she can have one of each: a movie, a Puella, and a boy.

"Although now that I think of it, you already got some of that list..."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi is growling at Minako. Is she about to make kissy noises?! In the name of the moon!!!

And then she is blinking at Ami-chan. "Um...whatever...you want?"

This is a Very Good Answer! (Papa says it to Mama often! Or a variation thereof!)

And then she hugs the girl pile.

Rei Hino has posed:
Rei is gruff? This is news to her. "Uh... thanks? I think?" She isn't sure if this is a compliment or not. She assumes Usagi means it that way because Usagi.

Then Minako adds in her two cents. "C-child-bearing hips?!"

Rei actually blushes at that. What? Really? No way!

To Ami, she says, "I don't know what's going on anymore!"

Usagi is hugging them now.

...

No Rei's too cool to hug!

...

Okay maybe she isn't. She hugs... whoever is in hugging reach at the moment.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Only movies," Ami tells Minako with a smile, but then she is being hugged by Rei from behind, so she passes the hug on to Minako. "I am so completely confused as to what's going on. Weren't we here for a reason?"

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino is entirely pleased to get a blush out of all of her comments. "I was talking about the boy, but I guess two out of three is better," she declares, before making jokes about Rei's cheeks matching the color of her fires.

"We were talkin' about your Puella problem, but without a solid lead, it looks like we're just gonna have to wing it."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Well, Mamoru's following...leads or something, or maybe just overwhelmed by girl and using it as an excuse."

She sighs. Boys are so weird. And confusing. But then she brightens.

"So while we wait for more of these clues, we have to make time for hugs and cuddles! Otherwise you get too sad. And maybe a bunch of ulcers."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"I do not have a boy!" Ami tells Minako very sternly. She might be a little pink in the cheeks at the suggestion, too. "I don't really have any more clues, though," she admits. "Just the video I showed you all, and a lot of worries."

Rei Hino has posed:
"I don't really have anything either," says Rei, from beneath the girlhugpile. "I don't think I can say anything that hasn't already been said. Asking around to see if anyone else has seen that girl seems the best course of action."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Ami-chan, the worries are why we need hugs!" And proves this by giving her one.

"You can keep worrying for as long as you need, but that won't stop me, us, from giving you hugs."

She sighs.

"I need to make your text tone a fog horn, I think."

This is more a dry observation than anything else.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino looks ridiculously pleased at getting so many blushes. She calls them 'blushies' in conspiratorial murmurs to Usagi.

"Yeah, let's put up some signs, show some pictures, ask around. We can do it at our schools, get Mamoru-san and his girlyfriend on the phone to help out," she suggests.

"Also, why is Ami-chan a fog horn? Is it 'cuz she's loud? I haven't noticed that."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"I think because she didn't notice my text last night," Ami tells Minako with a shake of her head. "NEvermind that I even told her she didn't need to come unless she wasn't busy. So like, I don't know why she thinks it's her fault," Here, Ami pokes Usagi in the ribs, gently. Or maybe it's not Usagi; it's hard to tell in this pile.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi scoffs. Poke, poke, poke!

"Because! It is! So neener!"

Poke, poke, poke!
