Arguments at the Auditorium
Date of Scene: 22 November 2015
Location: Pikarigaoka - Seiyou Public School
Synopsis: Miss White draws Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Kamen to Seiyou's auditorium to settle some issues. Unsurprisingly, it ends with fists and explosions.
Cast of Characters: Hannah Sharpe, Mamoru Chiba, Usagi Tsukino

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
It's roughly midnight, a.k.a. Prime Mahou Hour. Most people are either in bed, or being horrible delinquents by sneaking out late at night. It's around then that Mamoru Chiba would get a text message. Perhaps discouragingly, it's from the 'White-chan' number rather than Hannah's normal phone.

'Have a bone to pic w/ u and Moon. Seiyou, Auditorium, ten minutes. Bring friends if u want.'

~Seiyou Auditorium~

The massive auditorium is deathly quiet should the pair show up. The lights are off, all of the chairs are packed away, and it manages to just seem gloomy. It'd be easy to believe ghosts run around in here, what with the feeling of magical irritation combined with an odd sense of despair and worry.

The source for this would turn out to be the very woman who texted Mamoru. Lights flick on, illuminating the stage and Hannah herself. She's in her barrier jacket, tilting back what looks to be the last third of a sake bottle that she then chucks away. Her arms are crossed as she awaits to see just who all shows up, with all the tenseness of an attack dog on a very short chain.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
And it's entirely likely that 'good idea' would have been henshin, to many many many minds. And though Moon certainly is, Mamoru Chiba is certainly not. It is, in fact, a statement all on its own. His brain itches with the feel of the place as soon as he comes in with Sailor Moon, and then the lights come on and he's never been more glad he's not currently transformed. Hell-- he's even wearing his glasses.

"Are you actually going to use words and tell me what you're upset about," he calls over, squeezing Moon's hand and then letting go to run his hand irritably through his hair, "or are you going to just beat the crap out of us, set the place on fire, call it a day, and feel bad tomorrow that we died having no idea what we did? I think you've known me a little too long for this."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Sailor Moon gulps even as she squeezes his hand back.

Before they'd come, she'd asked Mamoru 'So...is she like...chaotic neutral?'

HA! And her teacher thought she never paid attention in class. (She does, but usually to interesting conversations around her. She'd spent the afternoon trying to classify her friends, and it was hard!)

"Well, it would be bad for future things if that's what she called us here for, isn't it? Like one day she texts with 'Help, I'm pinned beneath Tokyo Tower!' and we text her back with 'haha, not falling for that again.'"

Even as she's being cavalier, she's on her toes.

Sigh. Miss White's clothes are so pretty, too.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
They actually came. But that minor victory still gets a frowning Hannah as in walks Mamoru, completely unhenshined. At least Moon has some sense. Then again, it's likely that alone that keeps her from just going in fists first like she so very, very wants to.

Sly jerk! His words don't help, her hands clenching and teeth gritting. The 'fist first' idea is getting more and more tempting.

"Oh don't worry. I don't want you dead. Actually, quite the opposite. No promises about the auditorium though." Quips Miss White.

"But yeah, I have a few things to say. First of all, which one of you did it? A friend of mine got into a fight, and I /know/ you were there, Mamoru. But one of you guys did something to him, so fess up." Comes the girl rather forcefully. Subtlety isn't her strong point, but at least she's not directly throwing out Takashi's name.

Her anger seems to dip for just a moment as she hops down from the auditorium stage.

"And that's the other thing. I'll be blunt, I'm worried. Hell, scared. See, you have this horrible habit of putting your body on the line for other people. It's noble, sure, but it's going to get you /killed/!" Her eyes narrow and her attention shifts scathingly to Moon. Her cavalier attitude only has Miss White taking another step forward, stride aggressive and aggravation clear on her face.

"And half the time, it seems to be because of /you/! Why? What is it about you that puts him in so much danger!?" Rages Hannah, wind magic swirling around her and causing her clothes to flutter as it itensifies.

"Is it because he's just that way, or is it because you're so weak that you can't stand up on your own!? I won't have it! I WILL NOT see one of my best friends dead because of YOUR WEAKNESS!" Her voice cracks, caught between fury and a very, very real worry. At least she hasn't punched Moon yet!

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Mamoru's unconsciously doing exactly what Hannah's complaining about, as she shifts her attention to Moon -- he takes a half-step between them, frowning. "One argument at a time, White-chan. Kyouko threw him into the side of the building, and we were up on the roof because neither of them wanted us interfering. I caught him before he could fall from four storeys up after already smashing his head against brick, Moon here went and slapped the darkness out of Kyouko, and I put Agera's skull back together. He woke up enough to call me stupid, so I gave up after that and dumped him at the hospital. If he's allergic to healing, then it's news on me-- didn't look like he was going into anaphylactic shock when I dropped him off."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
%r
Sailor Moon growls. Angry Face!

She stomps around Mamoru and glares at White. "All we did was heal. If he still has owies, I'm sorry, but they both said it was their fight."

She doesn't go far (she's Angry Faced, not Stupid Faced) with her hands clenched at her sides.

"And do you think I like that he does that? Why do you think I want to get stronger?"

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
As he takes that step, Mamoru might just find a Hannah glaring very, very hard in his direction. It's as if to say 'See! This is what I'm talking about'!

But both Usagi and Mamoru give her pause as there's an explaination incoming. It all makes sense. Mamoru must have used his healing powers. Knowing how much darkness Takashi relies on, and seeing him barely able to control it, it all fits. How strange, though. It shouldn't effect him so badly, should it?

"...Well, I believe that. Actually, that makes a lot of sense. But yeah, avoid doing that. It...messes him up." Her anger levels almost visibly drop an octave or two.

And then moon speaks up. She comes to a stop, and for a moment, Hannah stares judgingly. Her Device pings, scanning the area around the senshi.

There's a very, very strange smile that slowly gobbles up Hannah's face, ending in a lopsided smirk. Danger and excitement and lingering anger dance in her eyes.

"So you get it then." She starts. A laugh escapes her.

"Do you really mean that, Sailor Moon? Are you really brave enough and have enough resolve to truly become strong? Will you keep pushing forward for his sake, and for your own dreams?" She takes one step every sentence, unhurried and yet full of purpose.

"Prove it to me. Show me that you're not a weakling, not a coward. I want to see what he sees in you." Commands Miss White, voice a growl.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Mamoru sees that explanation click and Hannah's ire deflate some, and he starts to relax.

But then Moon says 'why do you think I want to be stronger' and Mamoru's abruptly dragging his hand down his face, seething through his teeth. Sure, he's next to Sailor Moon, but this just got taken up about twelve notches. "And what happens if in the middle of you two unnecessarily kicking each other's asses, some uncanny horror from the seventh dimension sidesteps into reality and starts eating Tokyo starting with this auditorium? You're seriously going to leave that to me?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
%r
Wait. Prove it? She's about to open her mouth before she turns to look at Mamoru. She wears the same expression she wore at Hannah, which is basically 'you're mad as a hatter.' "I didn't agree to fighting her, Mamo-chan."

She waves her arms. "And even if we do, of course I'm not gonna just leave it to you."

She turns back to White. "And I may be weak, but I'm not a coward. That point's been driven in my thick skull."

And then. Growly face.

"Why should I prove anything to you? The only person a girl has to prove her love to is the person she's in love with!"

Heh. Well. Awkward.

Oops.

Sorry, Mamo-chan...

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah raises a brow. "What happens? Please."

The dark magical girl snaps her fingers, and then the curtains rise! In a nice, neat line, a good ten robogoons stand at attention, loading their guns. One even has a rocket launcher.

"Rule number one of being a corporate jerk: always bring the mook squad to back you up." There's a toothy grin!

No, Miss White doesn't back down an inch.

"Oh really? Cowards tend to hide behind nice, juicy walls of protection like our friend here. Let's see what you can do when it's just one-on-one!" Wind bursts around Miss White, as she settles into a fighting stance, legs already glowing green. She looks ready to charge!

And then Sailor Moon proclaims her love for Tuxedo Kamen. She goes stock still. For a moment, she trembles, and very, very slowly turns to Mamoru.

The next moment, she's right in front of him, scowling!

"YOU JERK! SERIOUSLY!?" Grrrrrr!

"I can understand the dream girl! Fine! You can't get away from her! But what about Usagi!? YOU TRIPLE-TIMING SMUG /IDIOT/! ONCE I'M DONE WITH HER YOU AND I ARE HAVING A TALK! One that involves impromptu dentistry!"

And then she teleport-cheats right back towards Moon! She's suddenly right above her, and lashes out with a kick fueled by wind magic! Hit or miss, the auditorium will need a new floor as the cutting emerald gust grinds down and implodes the floorboards!

"Who said you had a choice in the matter!?"

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
This is Mamoru doing a textbook Picard Facepalm. Head down, hand covering his eyes, as soon as Sailor Moon calls him 'Mamo-chan' and basically confesses her love.

He doesn't have long to make his Unimpressedness known before Hannah's IN HIS FACE.

He basically just has enough time to start looking furious himself, not actually backing down from the henshined maniac, when she teleports away from him to come down like a ton of bricks on Usagi--

--the second Hannah teleports, Mamoru's in henshin and diving for Sailor Moon. He hits her head on with his arm around her waist and they both go tumbling, even while the space Moon was just standing on is a giant smoking crater in the auditorium floor. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
%r
"I don't hide anywhere! He's just very bouncy and fast!"

Then White's yelling at Mamoru.

"HEY! How do you know we don't have a menagerie ta thing going on?! Or that it's even returned?!" It is, shush. "So what if he chooses the other girl, so long as he's happy! HUH?!" There may still be residual Princess Nigglings, but that doesn't make it any less true!

Grrrr.

Ug. Sigh. She never has a choice when it comes to fighti--

GRNK!!

The air's out of her lungs for a moment but she's quick to get it back.

Mamoru just did the Thing that Hannah was complaining about...

Sigh.

Well, then!

"MOON TIARA ACTION!"

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Twitch. Moon isn't making her mood any better.

"Y...AUGH! You know what, I don't care! Either way, I'm not letting you get him /and/ those other girls hurt by needing a knight in shining armor all the time!"

Miss White glares at the tumbling forms of Moon and Mamoru. With Tuxedo Mask in the way, she doesn't immediately rush in.

"That's EXACTLY what I'm talking about! See!? He just can't stop himself! You're a burden, Sailor Moon! Either become strong enough to stand on your own, or give up this business before you /and/ him get killed!" Snarls out Hannah.

Then it's Mamoru's turn.

"Oh, shut it! There's nothing wrong with me! It's you two that need your heads examined! You're not doing her any favors, you know? The only way she's ever going to get any stronger is if she's forced to! The only thing that brings you power is hard work and determination! Of course..."

Her Device calls out, just as Moon throws her signature tiara, the blinding moonlight zooming for her!

"Mistress!" Calls out Raging Tempest. The spikes of her Device smash against the shining tiara, sending it off course, slamming into a nearby wall and gouging out a line from the impact.

"Tch. That it!? Is that the best you can do!? Maybe you just need a little motivation."

The spikes on her Device rise up, and steam billows out.

"Binding mode active! Transfer!"

Around Mamoru, a portal opens, and winds start to blow! It's trying to suck him in! Should it work, he'll find himself stuck in a barrier of wind right beside the robo-goons, cape likely billowing about as he's suspended in the air!

"There. Now he won't do anything stupid, /and/ you're the only one who can save him from the evil magical girl. Hit me with everything you've got, kiddo, or maybe I'll just lock him up for a while so he doesn't go out and do something even /more/ stupid!" Would she actually do that? Not likely, but the threat alone might just galvanize Moon.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Hell, it's Hannah and Hannah's PISSED, she MIGHT lock him up for a while--

--not having seen that coming, yeah, Tuxedo Kamen gets pulled into that portal. When he reappears on stage next to the robo-goons, he looks somewhat ill, and then he abruptly just looks COMPLETELY FURIOUS.

And so done.

His cape is billowing, sure, and it's dramatic as everything, and because he can't not try, he's clawing and punching at the windy 'walls' of the barrier, raging uselessly, spending energy for no purpose. Even his voice is swept away by the barrier's fierce strength.

At least he knows she's not insulting him by putting him in an easily breakable prison.

The rage stops very suddenly, and he watches Hannah icily, and if Usagi should look at his face, she'll recognise the wheels turning in his head.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
%r
Sailor Moon held onto him for as long as she could.

Then he's way over there and she turns to glare sharp daggers at White. She reaches out her hand and the tiara slams into the palm of her hand as she stands.

"You want to know what gives me courage? Why I fight?" She's taking steps toward White. "To protect my friends. And you just gave me all the strength I need."

She's lunging now, tiara still tight in her grip. The modified brass knuckle punch is being aimed, squarely, for White's jaw.

Sometimes Sailor Moon forgets she's more like a brick wall than she can ever be as Usagi.

Now's one of those times.

If it lands, sorry, Hannah! D:

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Miss White can't help but dig in /just/ a little, grinning sharkishly at Mamoru as he punches and simply refuses to give in.

"...I can definitely see why you like him." She mutters off handedly to Moon, before she finally gets to it!

"Your friends, huh? That's admirable. Let's see if it's all just talk, then."

In comes the furious fist of one Sailor Moon! And indeed, it's a powerful strike! But Miss White doesn't move, doesn't dodge, or even throw up a shield in defense. There's a cracking down as that tiara-knuckle smashes into her jaw, the girl shoved back from the force and stumbling a bit.

Hack, ptuh! Hannah spits out a drop of blood.

"Six out of ten. You've got a little bit of force behind it. But no follow through. Besides..."

Then she rushes for Moon with a quick jab to the chest, followed by her other hand punching right for the tiara in Moon's hand! A massive blast of wind energy flows through her hand, trying to blow Moon away and into a wall!

"Trying to out-box me is just stupid! Let's see how well you can take it!"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
%r
"I like him because he makes me happy."

Oh owie, that like like brick on brick. Did she sprain something? No time to check because--

If the blow to the chest didn't leave her breathless, she would have screamed at the impact against her hand.

She's pretty sure something broke. Or, at the very least, fractured.

She is indeed blown back! But she manages to drag her boots on the ground long enough to not, you know, crack any ribs, you jerk!

For the moment, she has her eyes off of White.

Instead, she's looking at the shattered remains of her tiara.

"You...broke my tiara!" She glares at White. "What the heck did you do that for, huh?! Do you really think I'm so worthless that you would just--UG! I don't believe you!"

She has tears in her eyes, but they are angry tears!

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Some of the robogoons get a bit twitchy as Moon is sent into a wall. An idle wind-blast sends the thing into the back stage. Hannah's going to owe Seiyou a new theater at this rate.

And now she's /crying/. Angrily, but it's still tears. Miss White laughs mockingly, just to dig it in, and hopefully get a little more punch out of the girl.

"That flimsy thing? Don't take something that valuable into combat if it breaks at the slightest little breeze. And stop standing around crying. You'll never get any better if you whine and sniffle until other people come and save you!" Miss White focuses, and that wind-barrier starts to get alarmingly tight around poor Mamoru!

"Now come on! Stop messing around and put everything you have into it! All you're doing right now is being an embarrassment!" Miss White makes a 'come get it' motion. Of course, all the monologuing means that she's not exactly paying attention to Mamoru!

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
%r
"And what would you be if all your toys were just taken from you. Your weapons." Then her eyebrow arches. "And seriously? Like I'm not already used to people yelling at me for crying? Can't any of you come up with something more clever?" She's standing, hurt hand cradled against her stomach.

"And I really do think you're enjoying this just a bit too much." She looks over at Mamoru, her eyes widening a bit as she resists the urge to rush to him.

"You call yourself his friend?!"

And, without tiara because IT'S BROKEN, YOU JERK, and without the moon wand because she's pretty sure that will do nothing, she rushes headlong, screaming.

If she was holding back before, she isn't now. Because Mamo-chan.

(And since she can't punch because her dominant hand is probably BROKEN, YOU JERK!!, she's going for a full on body slam.)

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Hannah may not be paying attention to Mamoru-- but that doesn't mean he's not paying attention to her. Up until she tightens that barrier, he's looking for an opening, anything Usagi might do that'd distract Hannah long enough to let Mamoru try something probably stupid to get out of there...

...and then he's suddenly got hurricane-force winds, an actual literal tornado, closing in on him. At this point the cape's ripped away and so's the mask, and his swallowtailed tuxedo jacket is getting pretty tattered; his hair's everywhere, blowing into his eyes and stinging, his bowtie's untied and his shirt is tearing. And tighter and tighter it gets until he actually starts looking alarmed himself instead of pissed--

--now ESPECIALLY since Hannah's not paying attention. Very alarm, many worry.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
"Don't compare my partner to that little tiara of yours! I'd rather lose an arm!" Yells back Hannah, clutching her Device protectively. It's her turn to get all defensive!

Usagi might be right, though. Despite herself, Miss White is grinning like a demon, already deep in the abyss of excitement and adrenaline.

"Yeah. Yeah I do! This is his wakeup call! You'll either prove that you're strong, or you'll show him that you're nothing more than a cement brick tied to him after he's been pushed into the river!"

R.T. throws up a quick shield, but Usagi's charge shatters it into pieces! Miss White is caught right in the stomach with her charge, and then bull-rushed right into a wall! Definitely not holding back, her eyes bugging out as there's another lovely Hannah-sized crater in the wall!

From the way she's moving, it seems it won't just be Usagi who gets out of here with something broken! That was probably a rib.

But she doesn't take it lying down, aiming a hard kick at the girl! Less to do real damage, more aimed to punt her away! The lapse in concentration, however, has that barrier's strength starting to lessen for a few moments! It might just be Mamoru's chance!

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
%r
She staggers back from the kick. "You shouldn't take something that valuable into combat." Her own kick is aimed for the Device.

It's not really out of vindictiveness (maybe a little TIARA BREAKING JERK) but more to try and even the playing field.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
The karma boomerang hits Hannah far, far sooner than it usually does after she threw it. Before she can do anything, Usagi kicks right for her Device in her left hand, another shield smashed, and the left knuckle strains against the strike. It goes flying out of her hand, and then Miss White is scrambling for it in a dead panick.

"Oh god, Tempest! Are you okay!?" Comes her voice, fear and worry soaked in it. The Device pings after a moment, spikes raising and blowing out smoke.

"Structural integrity sound, damage minimal."

She hugs her partner close, fear quickly replaced by anger. She slowly turns around, brow scrunched, body shaking. Mamoru saw this kind of reaction before, during that fight with Kyouko. Like some horrible flashback, wind whips up around Hannah as her rage builds.

"You...HOW DARE YOU HURT HER!!!" The darkness in her linker core flares up, adding it's evil touch, fueling Hannah's rage. Her training must have been working, as the wind she conjured up then is nothing against the wild storm that swirls around her.

More worryingly, it all seems to rush right into her right hand, turning into a growing ball of pure wind energy. First a basketball, then larger, then larger until it's half the size of her body!

The lines of an Area Search soon floor the auditorium as Miss White leaps into the air, that massive ball splitting into dozens upon dozens of floating, menacing spheres of magic just /waiting/ to be unleashed!

"Targeting matrix engaged! Ready to fire, Mistress!" Comes Raging Tempest! There's a whirring sound as each of the balls of magic begin to glow, ready to blast down upon Sailor Moon! But they don't yet come, as they charge up! It may be the only chance the others will get!

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Nothing can be heard from that prison on stage but wind, howling wind-- but when Mamoru sees Hannah's face change, despite the tightness of the binding spell, the bands around his heart squeeze tighter still. He's suspended, but somehow the bottom's dropped out from under him anyhow.

Hannah's gathering her strength and her fury is a raw thing, a thing that's swept him away before -- and Usagi has no idea, no idea how hard Hannah hits when she lets go. That targeting matrix comes up, online, and Mamoru starts pushing against the barrier for all he's worth. Regardless of the fact that Hannah's split concentration has made the barrier weaker, he can't force it. He doesn't know how much damage Usagi can take. He never wanted to know.

He prays.

His mouth moves soundlessly behind the barrier, hands up, pushing at it, pushing at it harder and harder--

--only one hand now; is it glowing? Glowing gold? What does he plan to do, heal the air?

"--MBER!!"

Along with the syllable, there's a too-bright flare of white-gold light and a sound like a welding torch; the wind on-stage disperses and knocks into the robo-goons as the barrier holding Tuxedo Kamen breaks. The light isn't stopping. The light's an attack. Raw strength made energy, kinetic and burning the air with its passage.

And it's aimed right for Hannah, the blue eyes of the boy behind it wild and hard.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
%r
Relief surges through Sailor Moon when she hears the Device ping and say she (apparently?) is relatively okay. (If you have to ask why she feels relief, and had felt horrible the second her foot connected, then you don't really know Sailor Moon all that well, now do you?)

"Oh thank goodness..." She looks up at White, about to apologize, but that look.

"No, Miss White, you don't want--" As she's backing up, she trips over detritus and even as she's scooting away (her hand is killing her as she uses it in said scoot, holy many strings of expletives!!!) she knows she won't be able to clear what ever's coming.

And now she is afraid, of course. Not just for herself, but what if she's hurt REALLY bad? Mamo-chan won't be happy, Miss White may lose a friend, or at least have him misplaced for awhile and and and...

Her mouth opens as a reflexive urge to scream and cry tears through her and--

"--MBER!"

The cry is cut short, and whatever windows are still left are safe from a subsonic cry.

She has to shield her eyes, but even though it hurts she has to peek through, has to see, because he's doing something new.

"Mamo-chan?" When did he learn how to do that?

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Moon's words, short as they are, don't seem to penetrate to Hannah's consciousness. There's only power in her hands, a hundred lights burning in the air ready to smash down upon helpless prey. The darkness she's brought into herself whispers into her ears. Destroy the thing that hurt your friend. Don't hold back. Let the anger strengthen you. Tear her to bloody shreds.

The only thing that keeps her from utterly letting lose with all of her anger and hatred is a sudden golden light. Mamoru's prayer turns into something dazzling, the heat of the brilliant golden blast enough to draw even Hannah's sightless eyes. Raging Tempest screams in her mind. But she can't hear it above the din of those evil voices and the feeling of pure retribution screaming its way for her.

Her eyes widen, her mouth opening. There's a strange look on her face. Not one of fear, but of a person completely entranced. Power, raw, ancient, the kind known to the magical royalty of old seeks her very being. Only consideration at the last second for her Device has her returning it to standby mode, and slipping it into her pocket.

"...Beautiful." She mutters, lost in the power and the fury, embracing the destruction heading her way.

The impact is earth shattering, and without even a shield against it, she's consumed by its light. The burst of gold smashes her bodily through the doors and part of the doorframe, blowing both doors off their hinges. She cries out at last, pain and an odd exhiliration at being faced with such raw anger and force. Smoke and debris obscures Hannah's landing spot, another wall utterly destroyed just outside the entrance to the auditorium.

For a moment, there's no sign of life, as though perhaps she'd been utterly blown apart. But slowly the smoke clears. Miss White is crumpled into the mess of a once-wall, leaned on a supporting beam that survived. Her barrier jacket is shredded, only the barest bits keeping the modesty of her upper torso. Smoke rises from her body, and she bleeds around the back of her head and from one eye, likely from the violent ejection through the wall.

There's a ragged, heavy cough. Her arm's likely broken. Pain sits in her eyes, but it's nothing compared to the shining look she's giving Mamoru.

She laughs, long and joyfully. The death-balls in the air fade away with a wave of her good arm.

"...And to think, all this time, I was trying to get the most out of her. Heh. Mamoru. I always knew that you had strength buried in you somewhere. Such fury, such destruction! You really are strong!" There's utter respect in her voice and eyes.

"You win, Tuxedo Kamen, Sailor Moon. If you can draw out that kind...*cough*...kind of power out of him, then I can accept you. It looks like I was just too blind to notice real strength when it was right in front of me. Just...just promise me you won't get each other killed, okay? Please."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Hannah is crazy.

Even as she's getting blown through the wall, Mamoru's eyes have widened, his rage leaving him all in a rush; he doesn't stand up there stricken, though, he leaps down from the stage, hoists Usagi, leaps the rest of the way across the auditorium, and lands them in front of the hole in the wall where the dust's settling.

That moment of silence is wretched, and he stares, heart made of ice; he takes his gloves off absently and reaches for Usagi's broken hand.

It's as that gold, so destructive a second ago, is working its magic on fractured bone and bruised joints that Hannah coughs-- and suddenly Mamoru's relaxing. He leans over to kiss Usagi really quick, then pulls at her gently. "Help me with her?" he asks.

Even if she says no, he's at Hannah's side a moment later, and Hannah's laughing and still being crazy. "You nutcase," he says in shaken exasperation, clearing rubble away and checking for what's broken. And incidentally, irritably taking his jacket off and draping it over Hannah's shoulders. "She's the one who makes me even a little strong. She's so much stronger than I am-- and so much kinder than both of us. Don't you DARE ******* do this **** again, it's stupid and wasteful and aggravating and it takes up time and energy we cannot spare. If you two want to TRAIN together," he says, glancing across at Usagi questioningly, "that's cool, do that. But not this."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
%r
Before she can think to go to him, he is at her side, leaping her toward the hole in the wall, and healing her hand. This last one has her slumping against his shoulder in relief.

When he pulls her, she follows. Of course she follows, and it's not just because he's Mamo-chan, but because she's Usagi.

She's quiet as he talks, tearing one of the shreds of fabric from the remains of White's shirt to gently dab away blood.

At his suggestion of training, however, she almost recoils.

"Um, no. At least until I'm not angry with her anymore. May be awhile." She offers Mamoru a small smile when she shifts to the blood on her neck. "Maybe even a whole week."

She's not really sure, though.

White said some...hurtful (truthful) things. That would be what took a week to get over.

Using Mamo-chan as bait? Eh. That one could take longer. She doesn't know yet.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Definitely a broken arm, and that rib doesn't feel good at all. Her teeth grit for a second, but between burning through so much magic and being blasted that hard, all she can look like is an exhausted kind of happy.

What a gentleman. She snuggles into the jacket weakly.

A hand rises, palm out.

"I get it, I get it! No more ambushings for training." She promises, rather solemnly. At the very least, Hannah's always good for her word when she's not suddenly going into berzerker mode.

"You have a point anyway. I'm such an idiot! Tomorrow is going to be an even bigger pain now!" She doesn't elaborate.

Soon enough, she's at least vaguely presentable thanks to Usagi, and the angry bunny-senshi has Hannah smiling.

"When I'm in one piece again you can punch me if you want! Seriously, you need the practice. Put your hips into it, and don't ever forget your footwork! If you over-extend yourself, any half-decent fighter is going to take that opportunity!" No, Usagi, you're not getting away from Coach White-chan!

Sigh. She'll likely be hauled up with the two's help. She also takes a moment to pen-in-mouth scribble something. There's what appears to be a check shoved towards Mamoru.

"Take that to the headmaster."

It's an off-shores bank account check, and on the back, it reads 'Sorry for the mess. White-chan'.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Without so much as a by-your-leave, Mamoru does NOT let Hannah back up until he's done healing the actual breaks, and made her stop bleeding. So it's the whole time he's lecturing, Usagi's dabbing and being Usagi enough to remind him that not everyone in the world is a jerk, and Hannah is wobbling and promising. Usagi NOT FORGIVING HANNAH for a whole week-- that has him hiding a grin.

Finally, they're getting her up on her feet and she's writing a check with her mouth that her face already cashed, and Mamoru grimaces. "I don't GO here! Give it to Suzu-chan. Try not to bleed on your furniture when you get home."

This last is actually said so haughtily that it is entirely possible Mamoru just outed himself as occasionally a diva. Said haughtily, and then he huffs out. "I'm done. Moon, if you're hanging around to fight some more, call me when you're done. I'm calling Uber."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:

Usagi sighs. "I know. I never exactly took any martial arts. I'm just winging it."

When the blood is gone, she just sort of sits back until she's needed again.

She watches him huff out, and when she's sure he's out of earshot, White gets the full Pissed Off Moon Face. "If you ever put him through that again, I won't hold back next time." She points to where White'd had Mamoru vortexed. "Friends don't do that to each other."

And then, anger spent, she just sort of sags, exhausted.

"I would...appreciate your help, but...not tonight. Maybe not...for..." She sighs and waves her hand as she turns to walk away. "Sleep well, Miss White. I'm truly happy the Device is okay. I regretted it right away, and I'm sorry."

She wants...sleep. For a week.
