After Dark In The Garden

Location:	Mitakihara/Pikarigaoka - Botanical Gardens
Synopsis:	Asclepius wants to meet with Sailor Venus about some things. He has questions, Sailor V has quips.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
It's night time. The Gardens is closed. It's also enclosed, which makes for a good quiet spot out of the sight of anything. Daisuke has asked to speak to Sailor Venus, and has gone about summoning his staff and his outfit and teleporting into the park and having a seat on the bench.

Sailor Venus gets a text to this effect. She can bring along Sailor Mercury! Really... Daisuke just needs anyone familar right now to talk to. These two are the best.

He's sitting politely on a bench and looking down at his staff which he holds in his lap as he regards it a bit. He doesn't let out a sigh though he really wants to.

The wall should be no problem for a Senshi to leap over. It's not even barely a rooftop leap. Easy stuff.

He looks up and peeks around. The only thing on , are some trail lights, which leaves him in some twilighted darkness. That's good. Right? Right.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino/Sailor Venus shows up! Jumping over walls and jumping onto tree branches to yell down at people being quieter. She also invited Sailor Mercury and might have challenged her to a race, but she might have also cheated to get here faster.

"Hi! Guess who! Did you pick me a rose from the garden?"

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Asclepius looks up. Oh! Sailor Venus. Whew. He takes a deep breath and stands up politely and bows. "Hello, Sailor Venus. No, I am sorry." he says. He shakes his head. "I'm sorry for bothering you. That incident earlier still has me spooked. I dunno what caused it. I went in. Got ice cream. Talked to someone. Walk out then that happened." he says with a sigh.

"The person I talked to did... feel familar? Like. You guys. But. She seemed to be hit too by whatever that was." he says. He crosses his arms.

"...but that's not why I wanted to talk to you...." he says. "Um... can I talk about what happened at the church?" he asks softly. "In the cemetery I mean..."

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino/Sailor Venus just makes a few lazy waves of her arm in a sweeping gesture before straightening herself up, looking down at Asclepius from an extreme angle. "Ohhh, I understand. But you shouldn't just jump into those beliefs."

"See, a lot of times, those intense feelings come about 'cuz you went through a difficult experience. Those flutters in your heart might just be 'cuz of the adrenaline of the moment. It happens a lot. The bridge theory... bring your beloved onto a bridge and the fear of the bridge collapsing sometimes gets confused for a fluttery heart!"

"I understand. I do! But I wouldn't want to come between you and true LoveLove," she proclaims.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Mercury isn't too far behind Sailor Venus, but far enough that the race is clearly won. She hops down out of a tree and lands behind her fellow Senshi, then arches a brow. "Why am I worried hwen you are discussing true love, again?" she asks curiously, then grins at Asclepios. "Hi," she says cheerfully.

"Venus said something about an ice cream caper? What happened?"

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Asclepius smiles at Sailor Mercury. "Hello Mercury." he says cheerfully. Yay! Someone who won't get lost in unrelateds. "That has nothing to do with anything I felt during that talk." he says with a sigh as he nods.

"Well...as I told Venus...."

He repeats. "I went for an ice cream. Place was packed. Had to sit with a girl who seemed... familar in the same way you and Chiba-san all do to me. We talked about school. I kept my mouth shut about anything I felt. She said her name was Kyra Nygaard. Is that anyone you know...? We talked a bit about school. I left just fine. Then there was a blast of something dark. I go and burst back in and everyone's unconcious- and seemed I dunno. Asleep? Drained? I dunno what caused it. Everyone was out. Whatever caused that didn't last very long and nothing was there."

He sighs and turns back towards Venus.

"I'm not really onto that." he mutters.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino /Sailor Venus makes a little grrrr sound at her hypothesis being ignored but answers the questions as best she can.

"I don't know. That name sounds familiar, but... I guess we can look it up. Did you get a picture of her?" she asks.

"And that's not necessarily somebody to worry about. There are lots of potential reasons for all of that to happen. We SHOULD investigate, though," she admits.

"Still... what does that have to do with our cemetary shenanigans?"

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Actually, I know her," Mercury says faintly, "Or at least ... my other half does," she points out. Thoughtfully, Mercury glances at Sailor Venus, then looks back to Daisuke. "She goes to school with me. Kind of a mean girl, very self-absorbed."

Ami pauses a moment, thoughtful, then asks, "Was Kyra Nygaard still there after you went back in?" Uncertainty races through Mercury's eyes.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Asclepius shakes his head. "Nothing. It's seperate questions. I just had your ear so I asked to meet. That was recent. All I could do was call emergency services, so that's what I did." he says with a sigh.

He looks at Mercury. "Yeah she was. She was unconcious with the rest of them." he says. "It didn't feel like anyone was missing? But there was a lot of people in there." he says.

He then looks back to Venus. "Well, the seperate questions I had were... What's a 'Dark Kingdom'?" he asks. "...and if you know that absurdly powerful woman that attacked everyone? I just...."

"... they both kind of put real wretches into my stomach when I think about it?" he asks.

He just sort of rubs his forehead. "Sorry it's taken me so long to talk to you guys again just. I needed some time to get over some stuff in my head." he mumbles.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino/Sailor Venus immediately chimes in after Mercury's words: "Your other half? Ooooooh. OOOOOOH!" she says, cooing and embracing herself, both arms crossing and wrapping around her own shoulders as she rocks as if in an intimate embrace.

"But yeah, get me introduced to her sometime. I can totally do the mean girl act," she says, putting just a little more emphasis on the word 'act' than strictly necessary.

"But yeah, she makes my belly quiver too. The Dark Kingdom are my enemies. That's one of their many aliases. They're always up to no good, but on an international level. They've got little outposts everywhere, always lookin' to steal things or drain energy or find out secrets about us senshi. They're bad news! All of 'em. Don't mess around when it comes to them. They're tough cook-outs!" she warns.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Sailor Mercury glances sidelong at Venus, but doesn't undermine her description of the Dark Kingdom. It's technically accurate, even if the details are a little less cut and dry than that.

So instead, she explains, "That 'woman' was Queen Beryl, whom we believe is the leader of the Dark Kingdom. Asclepios, I hope you understand when I say her power level was immeasurably strong. I had to invent a new scale to measure her in. If you see her, run away, don't try to talk to her. Definitely don't fight her. I barely survived that day; if Tuxedo Kamen hadn't shielded me, I'd be dead. If you hadn't grabbed Venus at the last instant, she might be dead. That woman is dangerous."

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Asclepius frowns. "I know she's dangerous. I saw." he looks down.

"I know I don't like her. I---"

"I feel like I dislike her." It sounds like he wants to say a harsher word.

"She makes me feel wrong when I think of that encounter." he nods a bit.

"I'm glad I could help at least. I would had been very sad if /any/ of you died." he says looking down. "If I wasn't there to speak to the father." he shakes his head. "Not gonna think about that."

"So. Queen Beryl. I guess that- sounds right? You guys would know better than me." he says.

"I guess I just feel out of the loop with all this. This Dark Kingdom. What else can you tell me? Anyone else I need to watch for?" he asks.

"She'd be the first I ever encountered of this. It's the first I heard."

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino/Sailor Venus makes a few little waves of her hand. "Well, I wouldn't say I woulda' died. I coulda' taken her. But the help is appreciated!" she says energetically.

"And, hrm. It's sorta' hard to say 'what do you need to watch for'. There are so many things out there. Just keep one eye open and investigate everything that we can't explain, I suppose."

She makes a little sigh'y sound. "A lot of leads go nowhere. That's the best advice I can think of to start. Expect lots of things to just end in something dull, boring, mundane, or non-suspicious."

"Sometimes, a guy passed out in the street is just a drunky!"

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Asclepius looks at Venus. "Well. Yeah...." he says softly. "I meant specfically Dark Kingdom threats though. Like... any others? Or is it just Queen Beryl there?" he asks. He crosses his arms. He looks to Venus. "But yeah I was careful around Kyra. Though. She didn't appear too mean to me. But---for all I know that's an act." he says as he shrugs and sighs.

"I guess there's something else I should say, too..." he says.

"I sometimes heal animals with my magic. In quiet. With the door locked." he says. "I'm careful.. you know?"

"Well... apparently some girl who can speak dog knows I have powers now..." he mutters. "Because she spoke to the dogs. In dog speak." he says as he throws his arms up.

"I dunno anymore really." he says.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino makes a few head shakey motions. "I don't know. I mean, yeah, there are others. Lots others. I don't know any personally, but all the names you've heard before are accurate... and some more that aren't out yet but will be," seh remarks.R
"Anyway, yeah, be careful. I'd yell at you, but... I guess I can't really be too mad if a dog tattled on you. Is the dog girl dangerous?" she asks, hoping that she isn't being racist against dogs right now.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Asclepius head tilts. "No, just... three normal dogs the Verone Animal Care club got in. They got in a fight... she's from the club at Seishou- the one who can talk to them." she says.

"She spoke to them when I wasn't looking but I caught her...growly..woofing at them and she related that they were healed by me."

He sighs. "She said she had... canine powers." he does smile a little weakly at that.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino/Sailor Venus makes a grrrr growly sound too! "'Canine powers'? That's not even a thing! That's just... butt sniffing and barking. Those aren't powers, those are just hobbies," she says, sounding a little irritated.

"It mighta' been a trick. She coulda' seen you before and then made that up so it wouldn't look like she was eavesdropping. Why would she reveal it?"

"Anyway, anybody who claims to talk with animals is a liar and you should swat 'em. Don't listen!"

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Asclepius sighs. "She revealed it because I asked her what the dogs said." he says. "--I don't let others see me. The Door's locked, you know? When I do that. I help animals with my powers. I do that. I'm not going to stop that- I mean. I have these powers--- to help people.. and animals and... everyone, right?..." he asks.

"....right?" more like he's asking himself now.

"I.. well." he sighs a bit and sits back down.

"...by the way." he asks. "Is Chiba-san okay? I heard a rumor around Infinity about Mono or something..." he says.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino/Sailor Venus makes some shushy sounds. "Calm down, calm down. I was just suggesting maybe she figured it out some other way. Or maybe it was a bluff to see if you'd confess it after," she notes.

"Anyway, no biggy. If you can trust this doggy girl, it's fine, it's fine," she says, placatingly.

"And Mamoru-chan is allllll ok. I hear some Ami-girl is introducing him to her momma, ahaaa haaaa," she says. It's probably not entirely true. "But yeah, don't worry about it. You can only get it if you kiss him or drink his drinks, so you can still, you know, visit and stuff. Just don't lick his lips!"

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Asclepius :hehs. "I know if I could talk to animals I'd be a regular Doctor Dolittle thou." he admits. "But...animals speak in thier own special way, regardless." he grins.

He thinks. "If Chiba-san is that sick I can try my healy thing?" he asks. "I'm not sure if it help diseases, but it does soothe infections in the animals I've used it on..." he says softly.

"But---it's not my choice. If he wants to try, I'm willing to pay him a visit if he asks." he chuckles a bit. "All he has to do is text me. Tell me to get my butt over there."

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino promises to pass the message along. Just like this: "Ashel-puss wants you to text him. Text him how you want him to get his butt to you." She says this with a thumbs-up.

"I'll be sure to pass it along. Or I'll send Mercury to send it to him. It's much better to pass a luffly message like that in person!" she declares with a salute.

Daisuke Hansuke has posed:
Asclepius sighs and closes his eyes. "Right. Thanks Venus." he says.

"Well, thanks for talking to me and giving me some information on this." he says with a relived breath. "Both of you..." he says softly. "If.. that's all. I'll go ahead and leave now." he says.

"I'll try to keep an eye on Kyra if I run into her again and if she starts acting weird, I'll say something." he mutters.

Minako Aino has posed:
Minako Aino/Sailor Venus gives double-thumbs up now. "What's wrong? You seem to be leaking sighs out your mouth. I hope you're all ok," she says, looking concerned.

"Anyways, I'm always happy to help. Sometime, you gotta meet up with me and give me a ride all around town when I got places to go. It would help me lots," she notes.

"And yeah, introduce me to her sometime if you wanna and I can help out personally. Or point me out to her and I can do the spy thing. See if she's just a really good guesser or if there's something suspicious other than you've brought in a new stray!"
