Fish Food

Synopsis:	Ayana finally eats a koi, and Reiko can't figure out how to handle the foxgirl gone evil. In the end, only London and France know the real story of how Reiko handled her friend's evil.

Ayana has posed:
It's evening, and the Penguin Park Botanical Garden is near closing time. There are Christmas decorations all around as Tokyo prepares for the biggest commercial holiday of the year, and the Park is no exception.

It's also cold, however, and so most children are already bundled up on their way home to bed. Still, it's a pretty night; a perfect night for drawing, perhaps? Or at least a perfect time to make sure the temperature in the koi pond is warm enough. That, at least, is what Ayana would tell just about anyone if they asked why she's literally wading in the pond. She's dressed in a black sundress that just barely makes it to her thighs, and a warm white furry coat over top. On the side of the pond, her high stockings and sneakers have been laid out at on the edge so she can warm up when she gets back out later.

As she wades along, Ayana holds her dress up with one hand, bunched carefully to keep it dry, and with her other ... she is busy fishing.

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama nrg, so cold... soon the water top would freeze up! Koi would be okay thou! They were tough! Just like Sgt. Fins! She nods. Everything would be just fine! She didn't come here to draw, but she needed to get her mind off...

Well she's always seeing things in her periphal vision now. Small humanoid like. Ugh. That Doll? Was it just paranoia?

Oh.....! It's Ayana! What's she doing!

"Ayana!" she beams!

Wait. Oh.

"What are you doin!? Get outta there you're gonna catch collllld!" she says. "It's wet and it's cold now!" she says.

Ayana has posed:
When Ayana looks up at Reiko, there is something different in her expression. Something darker. But she smiles, nonetheless. Or is it a smile? There are fangs showing. More like a grin, really. An eerie evil grin.

Ayana straightens up, and out of the water comes her 'free' hand--the one not holding her dress--with a fat carp in it.

"Hello, Reiko," she says, then raises the wriggling fish to her mouth and takes a bite.

Reiko Touyama blinks. Hey...What!?

"H-hey! Put that fish down!? What are you doing!? You know better!" she scolds teasingly oh. Then Ayana actuallt you know. Eats it.

Shooooccckkk......

There's like fifty koi suddenly around Reiko and they all have shocked expressions!

"AYANA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"

She says in shock!

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!" yells one of the Koi.

"STOP THAT YOU TOOTHY JERK!".

Reiko blinks blinks. Uh... w...when could....

When could they talk.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana chews the bite of fishy flesh carefully, then wrinkles her nose and spits out bits of massive scale. She stares at the popping in army of koi fish, unconcernedly, and then very deliberately, very noisily ... she swallows.

"Hmm," she replies to them all thoughtfully, then tilts her head a little. "Tasty," she notes, then eyes the army of fish again before deliberately, carefully, licking blood from the open wound. A little bit rolls down her chin, as she savors the bite, then uses her sharp fangs to tear a little more flesh from the back of the dying koi.

"Are you going to make me stop?" she asks curiously, swaying a little in her dress as she eats, still standing in the midst of the artificially warmed pond.

Reiko Touyama is all suddnely fairly UPSET and REALLY CONFUSED all at once. There's so many! So many she's feeling /tired/ because these things are powered by SOMETHING- and SOME ARE TALKING. WHAT THE HECK!? WHAT'S GOING ON WITH AYANA! WHY ARE HER KOI TALKING!? ARGGGGHHH MADNESS.

"Of course I'm going to stop you Ayana! Why are you eating Koi! They gotta taste horrible anyways!" she huffs!

"FISH ARE FRIENDS NOT FOOD!" calls out one of the Koi.

"Yes--Fish are----HEY THAT'S MY LINE!" she calls out.

Reiko just flails. "Arggghhhh----what's going onnnnnnnn!"

But really before she knows it all the Koi suddenly race down her and cram into her Chroma Crystal and then there's a burst of light and a spin and----

She's Orange-- well. You know. Prism Keeeper Orange. Well. That was... a thing. Her koi just forced her to transform oh gods.

Is this how a Chara Change feels!?

Oh, well, she has her Chroma Wand out anyways now so she points it dramatically. "AYANA! COME ON! WHY ARE YOU BEING THIS MEAN SUDDENLY!?" She calls out.

"DON'T MAKE ME UM----"

Can she really blast Ayana like that?

Ayana has posed:
Ayana swallows yet another bite of the spontaneous sushi, then slowly wades her way back to the edge of the fountain. With each step, her ears and tail begin to slowly fade into view, and a mantle of darkness slowly enshrouds her, like a deepening gloom.

"Is it really a magical girl's job to protect fish before friends?" she asks curiously, then shakes her head. "Magical girls truly are evil, every last one of you." She sneers a little, then steps up onto the shore and shakes one foot dry, then the other.

"If that's truly what you wish to do," Ayana replies to Reiko, her voice a little huskier, a little darker now. "Then please, by all means, come pick a fight, little girl." Then she takes yet another bite of the koi fish, staring at Reiko as she does so.

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Prism Keeper Orange huffs. "Fish are important to me! And..if you were a friend.... you'd had think twice before killing that poor fish!" she says. "You know that!" she says. "--and just like you know I fish! I carry jerky on me! Just for you! I don't even eat it! I gotta explain to grandpa why I need it-----!" she says.

"...and that special gift I drew for you and Ikiko.....did she even give it to you yet!?"

Ugh, this sickening manner of speech where had she heard it before?

Reiko is less caring about the --- well very dead koi Ayana has right now and frowns heavily. "My job is to protect color... and protect what's important to me!" she says. "That's... my friends and koi!" she says.

"But, no friend of mine would eat a koi in front of me!" she snaps!

"What did you do with Fox-chan!" Aha!

That's it! This is an imposter!

Shes so terribly wrong.

Ayana has posed:
"Koi are not a color, Prism Keeper," Ayana replies. She tosses the fish aside and it flops once in the grass. Then she squats down next to her stockings--they look fuzzy and warm--and starts to pull them on one leg at a time.

"Ikiko has not seen me since I drained all of her energy," Ayana says casually as she pulls the stocking up over her knee and affixes it into place. Spirit tape, apparently, just inside the hems. Handy that.

"So no, she hasn't given me your gift," Ayana sneers. "Nor have I any care for your jerky. I didn't do anything with "Fox-chan". I am her. I am simply hungry for fish, today, and these seemed tasty." She smiles at Reiko, then picks up her second stocking to start pulling it on. "I was right. They're very tasty. I'll come back for more when I am hungry again."

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Prism Keeper Orange huffs. "Yes they are...they're orange! The most graceful pure expresssion!" she says from inside her heard. She truly belives this to be true...it's why she can summon koi of course! Maybe this would be less of a problem if she had 'Oranges' in her heart instead. Citrus is easier to protect.

"No you're not! Fox-chan loves jerky! and Cheeseburgers! and wouldn't drain 'kiko-chan! Who I know she loves very much! I saw it!" she insists.

"Don't you remember the plush I helped you make!? Did your brother do this to you!?" she says then.

Oh then she threatens to come back.

She grits her teetth and nnnnrrrrrgggggggg------the tip of her Chroma Wand glows....!

Then Sgt. Fin's appears. Salutes Reiko, then dissapears. She blinks. She doesn't know what that means.

At least he didn't speak and ask for orders? Maybe the shock... shocked her koi into sentience for a moment. Ugh.

Her agitation is still high though.

Wait... why is her crystal glowing... there isn't a Shade nearby!

....it isn't reacting to Ayana. Not like that. Is it?

"Ayana....why... what happened. Tell me please...."

"Did Ikiko say something wrong....?"

Ayana has posed:
"Because I needed the energy," Ayana replies non-challantly as she finishes pulling her second stocking on. She doesn't even seem impresed by the glowing wand or Sgt. Fin's decision to spare her. "I do still love jerky, and cheeseburgers," she notes with a grin. "Those are tasty."

Making sure her socks are both neat and straight, she reaches for her shoes next. Ayana pulls them on each foot, then starts to tie the laces. "So I took it from Ikiko, so I could give it to him. She even forgave me, because she's a dumb dog. Ask her about it," Ayana says with a sneer. Shoes finished, Ayana looks up at Prism Keeper Orange, then arches a brow. "My brother did not do anything particular to me." With shoes tied, Ayana pushes back to her feet, then grabs her soggy meal and sticks it in her mouth once more, chewing on flesh as she strolls towards Reiko. The fishy smell is strong witht his one.

"Speaking of jerky," she says around a mouthful of fish as she draws near. And then starts wandering around REiko thoughtfully. "Where do you hide the jerky in that outfit?"

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Prism Keeper Orange huffs. "L--lies! Ayana!" she says. She steps back. jumping back with her wings. She raises her wand. She waves her wand the back of jerky appears. It drops on Ayana's head because that's what happens right now. Reiko's unstable emotionally right now. It's /showing/.

"Fine, here! But don't you dare come near me right now!" she warns.

Nrg--that stupid wand is still glowing- she knows what it's telling her to do but she is ignoring it.

"I'm leaving not Ayana...." she says through gritted teeth. "I'm leaving cuz I care about you and if I listen to what my crystal telling me I'm gonna try to hurt you!---but..."

"I hope you snap out of whatever this is soon, you --- you toothy jerk!" she says just like the koi said!

Then she takes off straight up with a trail of orange behind her!

She's not happy right now! Sad. Upset. Frustrated.

This better not be related to that stupid doll.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana's ears both fold down comically to the side as she hunches under the bag of jerky. Blue eyes peer upwards, cross-eyed, to try and see the bag. Then she reaches up with her free hand to bring it down and inspect. "Ahhh," she says, then holds the fish in her mouth so she can reach up with her fishy mit to try and pat Reiko on the head. Except Reiko is now flying, and Ayana scowls irritatedly. She scowls, drops the fish, and then leaps after Reiko. "Where you going, little fish? I'm still hungry, and you look tasty, too."

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Prism Keeper Orange is faster! Her wings carry her fast like a koi darting in the water....

Ayana can't keep leaping straight up can she!? (The Vaunted Double jump!?)

"N-no!" she says as she points the wand downwards and shoots a beam of color energy downwards. Weak and straight forward--- enough to try to dissuade her..."

"You keep away!" she says.

"You keep away until you feel we're friends again!" she scowls!

Ayana has posed:
Ayana can't keep jumping straight up. She could fly, if she cared enough. But frankly, this view of Reiko, flying scared and away, just makes her laugh. So much so in fact that hse barely notices the beam of color energy streaking towards her. Ayana spots it at the last second and dodges aside, a near graze that draws a snarly of irritation. "Saw your underpants!" she taunts Reiko as the orange girl flies away. But then she tears open the bag of jerky and starts to eat. Because eating jerky requires far less energy than chasing a magical girl across town.
