- Hannah Sharpe has posed:
After the events of Mamoru's passing, and frenzied nights of research with very little sleep with Ami, even Miss White needs to decompress and forget about her very, very looming problems. One sake bottle later, and she simply wandered out of the Blue Note Jazz Club. Thus, eventually, she'll find herself at Seiyou Public. It's the observatory she's found her way into, had her Device pick any lock that might be present with magic, and then very simply found a seat in the middle and kicked up her feet. It's quiet, dim, and gives her time to think.
She finds herself thinking of Mamoru, cheeks reddened, a pained smile on her face as she remembers the good and the bad times, of rooftop meetings, his healing touch, study groups and fighting with and against the man.
"...Idiot. Seriously! Going and getting yourself killed like that!?" She sobs out aloud.
- Tadase Hotori has posed:
Usually, getting lost - not just in body, but in mind and spirit- somewhere near the Seiyou Public school means you end up at the Observatory - it's one of the things about the place that you can count on. This usually results in a quiet talk with Tsukasa Amagawa, the caretaker of the observatory, the headmaster of the school itself, and also one of the people responsible for making Virtue work.
But for one Hannah Sharpe, her meeting tonight, as befits her unique nature, is not the normal meeting. Instead, the person that walks through the lockpick'd doors is a young boy in a Seiyou school uniform - has he been at school all day, doing work - with blonde hair and an ahoge. The Guardian's Cape he wears makes him instantly recognizable. He sighs, and looks up at the currently-bare celing.
Then as he looks down, he takes note of Hannah. It's with quiet steps that he walks up to her, nodding a bit, as though this is the most normal thing in the world, and takes up his own position in a chair nearby.
He knows exactly who she's talking about, and it's thinking about him that lead him here, too. "Yeah." is all he says. But that one word carries a lot of emotional weight.
- Hannah Sharpe has posed:
"Mmm?" Starts Miss White suddenly, before relaxing. "Oh. Hey, Crown-guy. You...in one piece?" There's a touch of real concern there. The death of a mutual friend does much to offer a link to another person, and Hannah isn't about to just shut down and close up in front of the young man. Besides, he helped out Haruna and that counts for a lot.
Silence from the young woman, and she wipes her tears, throws on some beath spray, and then pats the seat next to her. She doesn't bother with putting her feet down.
"How'd you know Mamoru, anyway?" She asks suddenly as she pulls out a pair of sodas from her Barrier Jacket. One is offered over to Tadase!
- Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase takes the soda from Hannah as he nods. "I'm alright. I had to tell everyone about it, about what happened. You know, all us good guys." he says, a bit sorrowfully, but he manages to get off a wink at the 'good guys' comment. But there's no sparkles there, today.
He pops the soda open with the hiss of carbonation and looks down at it. "I've known him for a while. We met after I ended up in a... kinda hospital... from being dumb and brave and letting someone take what they needed from me instead of from someone else."
He sighs. "He was somebody I could really look up to. Another powered guy. There's not that many of us." he adds with a soft smile.
- Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Arms move behind her head, and she 'looks' upwards, almost looking asleep by the way her eyes are half-lidded. The soda ends up on the armrest.
"...Tough thing to have to do. That guy has friends everywhere. For an awkward jerk who was terrible at people, he sure did know how to gather the best and the worst and make them friends." A little smile to her face. It was amazing, really.
"Your side coping?" It's a general question, though Tadase might pick up on who she means. The senshi, mostly, and a few others.
It's too much. She laughs, long and hard. Only when she calms down she speak again, wiping away more tears. "Stupid, stupid Mamoru! That /would/ be it, wouldn't it? He and I meet up there way too often." That laugh turns to something sad, and she chokes down a sob.
The 'good guys' comment is waved off. Her smile's brittle.
She can't even come up with a sarcastic remark. "That's what he always did. Give and give and give and ask nothing in return. I tried to devour him once, you know? After one of my experiments failed. He forgive me. I've done a lot of bad things, and yet, every time he healed me, gave me a lecture, and urged me to do better. To be a better person."
Leaning back, she nods. "He's a guy anyone could look up to. All of that aloofness to most people? I think he was really just lonely, and afraid to open up and let people in. Warmth. That's what I think of when I think about him. He was...the brother I never had and didn't know I wanted so much until..." Her teeth grit, and she sits up, banging her head on the seat in front of her. She doesn't care that she bleeds.
"Tch! If...if I was just stronger!" She suddenly howls, frustration boiling over. A deep breath.
"...Bring you back, Mamoru..." She mutters to herself, and finally wipes off the blood on her forehead.
- Tadase Hotori has posed:
Tadase shrugs. "I never thought he was bad at people." he admits. Tadase knows a thing or two about being bad at people, truthfully. "It was easy for him to reach out and touch you, and yeah. I think he was coming out of the hospital as I was going in." he admits.
"I think we'll be okay. We wouldn't be strong if we let this destablize us. Even if he was important. We gotta keep going."
Tadase looks down. "He was just always really... nice around me. Warmth, that's a good way to put it. Encouraging. You could tell him you needed snow from the top of Mt Fuji and he'd be at your house in the morning with climbing gear." Tadase says, before taking another drink of his soda. "Just the kind of person he was."
"The kind of person I'd like to be. You know, you might think he was lonely... but I bet everyone got that same message I did. Just a short message for help. And look at all the people that showed up." Tadase adds. "I don't think he was that lonely. Not really."
"Your brother. My sempai." he says, calmly. "We can't let this happen to anyone else. Tadase doesn't mention that blood.
- Hannah Sharpe has posed:
A small nod. Really, she doesn't have any hatred for the members of Virtue. They're not her real enemies anyway.
"I'm glad." She says simply.
"Yeah, he was really good at that. The kind of guy that leaves a mark on you." A life changing one. Smirk. "Like a very golden rash." She /had/ to get that one in there somehow.
"And have you climbing that mountaint right beside him, half the time, wrestling yetis. Or maybe that's just when he and I get mixed up together."
But the memory of all of the people who came to help has her smiling, warm and fulfilled. "So many friends. So many people with dreams he tried to nurture. No. The guys that did this...I think they're the same ones that messed with Gull-chan. Probably Kyouko too. They'll be stopped. God help them when they show up near me and my people again." She can't help but let an edge slip into her voice. She needs to let loose, to see the man avenged, even if she knows that's not what he'd ask for. As always, it's a selfish desire.
Then, she stands, frowning as she looks to the door. There's a number flicked his way on a business card.
"One of those guys shows up, you call me. I don't care what time it is." A pause.
"Or if you just want to talk about him." A sigh.
"Something still bothers me, though. How did they manage to change him into that form so quickly? The last time he seemed fine from what I saw. And he was even texting us for help." Teeth grit, and then she rubs her head. It's pounding.
"...Been up too long. Get any revelations, you know where to find me. Take care of yourself, okay? And don't worry." She flashes a smile.
"I'm going to do everything in my power to bring him back." A little wave, and she's walking towards the door.
