Donuts n' Gifts!

Synopsis:	Reiko invites Ayana and Ikiko out for Donuts and to exchange Christmas gifts! Talk about some stuff relating to Ayana's situation aswell!

Reiko Touyama has added Ayana back to her contacts list! (This is how you know she's truly forgiven!- when you're back on the 4th grader's contact list.) so she sends out a text to Ikiko and Ayana, it looks like this:

Reikoi: Donuts! ^,^. The car's in Penguin Park today~ Come get some with me~

She's alone because Grandpa is giving her the time to deal with Christmas stuff. She's wearing a deep orange-red dress with a white bow on the front, black stockings and some new shoes that are white. Her hair's done up a little nicer. Really, it all seems out of place on Reiko and makes her look just a little older than it's supposed to. It is a holiday still maybe- and that's why she's all dressed up. She seems kinda pondering as donuts are being freshly fried!

She takes a deep sniff. Mmmmmmmm. One of her koi flutters off it's feet and uppppp into the air as it appears next to her right shoulder. Donuts have magical koi lifting armoa, don't you know!

Ayana has posed:
Ayana arrives with Ikiko, not dressed as Ayana is ever dressed on her own. Rather than a flowing dress and stockings, she's instead in a pair of black tights and tan shorts, and a three-quarter sleeved baseball shirt, white with grey sleeves. It's all just a little too small for the kitsune, but she wears it with pride anyways, as she skips along beside Ikiko. It's the shoes that are out of place: black Mary Janes that look more in place with her usual attire. Her hair is pulled back in a single ponytail, tied with a large green ribbon. On her left wrist, silver foxes chase one another in the infinite circle of a bracelet. She's also got a lovely black collar around her neck: simple, but with no defining features dangling from its tag-clip.

In one hand, Ayana carries a very small package, wrapped neatly in Christmas paper, and tied with a little blue bow. With her other hand, Ayana holds onto Ikiko, fingers laced with the wolf-girl gently as they make their way to join Reiko.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
While Ikiko isn't dressed up very much, her outfit does look a bit nicer than her usual casual clothes -- slightly better materials, a somewhat sharper line to them; overall, an outfit that's in the narrow grey line between formal and casual. Perfect for a relaxing day around town!

Getting a text from Reiko wasn't unusual; the invitation to donuts, not expected, but likewise not unexpected. Her hands are nearly a mirror of Ayana's: one hand entwined with the foxgirl's, the other carrying a present. "Hi, Reiko-chan!" she calls out as they draw close. "Merry Christmas!"

Reiko Touyama accepts the box of fresh donuts and pays the man- a man with short black hair and sunglasses. Always sunglasses. Even at night! She beams and turns around to spot the two and she hops up on her toes and waves!!!~ "Heya Ikiko n' Ayana~" she says with a smile. "They're super fresh and still hot and I bet that napkin is soaking up all the grease already~" she says as she pads over to a bench and sits down.

She opens the box and grins. "Nrg--drinks. I forgot drinks. Uh, what you two want?" she smiles.

There might be a black plastic bag next to her where she's sat.

She taps her chin... then she blinks suddenly. "Wait." she says.

"I'm not ruining a date am I!?" she asks with wide eyes suddenly as she realizes they both arrived together like that! "--or did you two just happen to be together? I'll feel really mean if I interupted a date." she says crossing her arms.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana eyes the box of donuts hungrily, but she manages not to reach for them rudely. This is possibly in part because both of her hands are occupied. "They smell delicious," she notes as she and Ikiko join Reiko. "I just want water."

Ayana starts to offer the small package in her hand, when Reiko declares 'wait'. Ayana jerks her hand back and stares at the Prism Keeper, then turns her head to peer at Ikiko. "Date?" she asks, confusedly. "Are we on a date? I don't think so," she notes, then looks back to Reiko. "I spent the night at her house last night. Pretty soon I'm going to have to go home, though."

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata blushes slightly. "No, not a date," she agrees. Well, at least not intentionally a date! "She needed a place to stay, so she spent the night." A very cuddly night, but no need to mention that.

She gives Reiko a reassuring smile. "So, no, you're not interrupting anything," she confirms. "The timing just happened to be convenient. Oh, and I'll have a water as well, thanks!"

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama stands up and brushes her outfit down and walks back up to the truck and gets two waters and an orange flavored milk- because of course Reiko is having milk that is also orange. She comes back and places the bottles down and her container of milk and smiles. "Oh- good then! So that's why you're both together then---whew-- no worries then!" she says with a wide smile.

She grins. "Donuts should be ready, so---have one! Just...might still be hot~" she beams. She head tilts. "Oh...right... um..."

"...if you need to run somewhere, Grandpa knows my little secret, so---" she sort of crosses her arms and murmurs. "But it sounds like Ikiko has ya covered~" she beams. "--just.. be safe. Okay?" she says softly.

"OH--uh. I did ya two a picture---but...erm...." she sort of opens that black back and begins rooting around. It seems full!

Ayana has posed:
Ayana squeezes Ikiko's hand gently before letting go. "Here," she says, offering her little gift to Reiko. "It's not much, but I only figured out what Christmas really is while I was um ... before you did the thing with the Yuzu. So um." She looks away, then reaches for the donuts to distract herself from having to talk.

Inside is a new drawing pencil set: a very nice drawing pencil set, not a simple collection of school pencils. There are only three, each in a different hardness, along with a soft gummy eraser.

"Ikiko showed me the picture you drew of us," Ayana says agreeably, not entirely realizing that Reiko might mean something else. "Do we really hug so much that that's what you think of when you think of us?" Ayana asks Reiko curiously. "Does it bother you that we hug so much?"

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata unwraps her package for Reiko as well, offering it over. Inside is a collection of high-quality coloring markers, excellent for blending, and refillable as well. The color codes on the caps indicate that they're a spectrum from across the color wheel, but there seems to be more yellow-red markers than any other given sector.

"Because you did a great job on coloring our picture," she smiles. She glances at Ayana, then watches Reiko inquisitively. "If it'd make you feel better, we could tone down our hugs when we're around you," she offers.

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama blinks. "Eh...? Bother me?..." she looks between the two and blushes. Eek! "Wha--nono! I think it's...super cute and lovely actually..." she blushes and looks down. "I wanted to a picture that made you two feel special and----that was drawn when... you were so worried and---before you started acting strange and I wanted to find a way to make you feel like everything was gonna be okay..." she admits bashfully. "You... only got it now because---you started.. acting so odd shortly after..." she says softly. "So--it doesn't both me! Not at all!" she blushes.

She clears her throat. "Um----" she sort of pulls out two smaller packages, and reads the tags.. "Um.. here--now I feel silly buying these..." she admits. "But...."

She hands the packages over. They're soft! Inside are plushies in the respective colors! "I Remembered you two got plushies before--and---now... they each have a friend!" she beams! A wolf plush for Ayana, a fox plush for Ikiko! They're not exact colors.

She does accept her gifts and opens them and blushes. "Ah---th-thanks!" she smiles. "Prismacolors are expensive n'...I only use em for my best art! These are good too, for the minor things and-----"

"You can never have enough pencils~ This is a nice set, thank you both of you!" she beams.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana tilts her head, then shoves her donut in her mouth before accepting the package from Reiko. She's busy chewing while she unwraps it, then blinks in surprise. "Oh, a little Iki-chan," she mumbles around a mouthful of food, then swallows and smiles at Reiko. "I wish I could take it home, but I think it would tip my brother off if I started adding more stuffed animals to his bed than the ones I've already got there."

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata smiles warmly at the little fox-plush. "Thank you, Reiko-chan!" she beams. After giving the little plush a few pets, she puts it away, then looks at Ayana's plushie.

The foxgirl brings up an interesting point: they can't give Ayana too many things without Riventon gets suspicious. "You could always keep your stuff at my place, Aya-chan," the sometimes-wolfgirl says to her girlfriend. "I can keep it safe for you, and you can enjoy it whenever you come over!"

She does snag a donut and munch on it while the kitsune considers her words. Ohhh, these are very good donuts, as is usual for Kaoru!

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama grins! She beams! "Eeee~ Glad you like em---I um..." she looks down. "I kinda had to run out and get em cuz... like... you were a jerk and--- I didn't even know if you were gonna be un-jerked...?" she says, is that even a word? "Before then but--I wanted to get ya something anyways!" she smiles. "I did it that night!" she says.

She sort of hrmphss..."I drew a picture for everyone else- that's-- one of the better gifts I give out- I put a lot of work into a picture!" she beams.

"Like---I did a good one. For the boy I like. Thou..." she crosses her arms. "...I think he's more intrested in this other girl now..."

"...I feel like I'm stepping on toes..."

"...this is why I'm all dressed up! Hiroko-chan said---I need to be more elegant! So--- she helped me out with this outfit!-- even if she is still kind of a jerk.... *she mumbles*" she insists.

"...does it look okay?" she asks looking between the two.

She blushes and sits back down because she got WAY too into that.

"--but .. I look pretty in this, right!?" she asks more whispered and flusteredly.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana stares at Reiko confusedly as the younger girl rambles on about her outfits and her presents. The fox-girl is either easily distracted, or completely out of it, today, because she just stares at Reiko through the entire explanation.

When it finally turns into a question, it takes Ayana half a moment to realize it, then she blinks and observes, "I think you look beautiful? I mean, you're too young for me, so I don't really think of you that way. And I'm not really interested in boys so I don't really know what they find attractive. But I think you're very cute, Reiko-chan. At least as cute as the girl I know your age. She got me this collar," Ayana notes, lifting her chin and showing it off. "I was really happy, because I really like collars. They're fun to wear, and show off silly nametags or things. I think I'll see if I can get Still Night to hang from it, in fact."

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata nods in agreement. "You look very pretty, Reiko-chan!" she smiles. "It's a very good dress for you!" While Ikiko might not be one for dresses, she does appreciate the aesthetics of a good dress, and the one Reiko is wearing is a very good one!

She gives a small nod at Ayana's comment about collars. "They're pretty good, although I'm not sure I'd wear one everyday," the werewolf remarks. "It works well for Tsukiko, and I'm glad the Lycan Locket changes into one, but I think I prefer it in its usual form for everyday life."

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama blinks. "Oh! I just noticed that!" she leans forward and peeks at it. "That's pretty!" she smiles. She leans back and beams. Then she blushes! "Well--I don't mean like that- but-- if I'm gonna impress anyone I need to learn to be more elegant! Like a fish!" she says.

She pauses and crosses her arms.

Then she's thinking... boys or girls? her eyes flutter a bit. She really hasn't met any intresting girls- but some boys seem nice? How would she even know? Ugh, she's too young to be worrying about this- she thinks and she shakes her head out of thought.

"But yes, like an elegant koi swimming in a pond!--- or... a darting baracuda!---um. wait. Not a baracuda! Ugh..." she crosses her arms and pouts. Why'd she use an ugly attacky fish!?

She finally begins eating a donut and takes a sip of her milk. Lots of arm crossing it seems regardless, she unfurls her arms.

"So..." she finally asks. "Any leads on how to help Ayana yet?" she asks softly to the two. "I dunno how much help I can be on this inital stuff because--- um. I only know what I helped create with the Prism Keepers and--- none of that has to do with this and I'm not really learned in anything like magic..." she pouts. "Ikiko would know more.. she-- made me this charm braclet because I have a creepy doll following me around now." she mutters. "because I tried to help someone at school... but.. I'm not gonna give up on my friends yet!" she insists! "Not... Ayana-chan or Ikiko-chan or Misa-chan!" she says softly.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana hooks her finger in the catch on her collar, then reaches for another donut to chomp on. Just in time, too, because the topic at hand seems to be one she doesn't actually want to discuss. So rather than talking about herself, or her problems, or help, she just chows down, eating spectacularly slow for a girl who normally doesn't stop to chew.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata nibbles on a donut for a while. "I'm... looking into it," she finally murmurs. "I need to study things that are similar, then figure out what parts of those I can use here." Not to mention how to keep certain things secret -- Ayana might interfere if she figures out what Ikiko is doing, and trying to keep her parents from learning about Reiko's magic has its own complications.

Still, that doesn't mean that the other two need to be out of the loop; it's just a matter of figuring out how each of them can contribute.

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama looks between Ikiko and Ayana and she seems to notice Ayana's sudden silence. She frowns just a little with an apologetic look. "Sorry..." she mutters. She's just worried is all- and--- she's practically no help, unless she does something stupid that Ayana's jerk brother will just reneg on-- like try to trade herself or her Crystal for Ayana. Yeah---- she's seen movie villians. Riventon totally feels like a movie villian--like- like that Tarkin jerk in that Star Wars movie she saw with grandpa one time on TV.

Could you even 'deal' with this jerk? Ugh. Maybe they could trick him...? Well- either way... he's going to be angry when he realizes what's going on wether Ayana is 'safe' or not- right? Bleeh. Should she even bother someone else about this?

"Right- also, no worrying about the doll thing for a bit!" she smiles. "This is WAY more important so--you back burner that! I can punch a doll for a few weeks!" she insists.

She's hoping it doesn't take months for Ikiko to reach a breakthrough. Do they even have the one month? Ugh!

She looks towards Ayana again and slides another donut her way.

She eats another one.

"Ayana, what's your favorite color?" she asks curiously. Innocus question!

Ayana has posed:
Ayana's head dips a little, and even if her ears aren't visible, it's easy to envision her ears drooping sadly to either side. She stays silent for a few moments, long enough for Reiko to finish her food and ask a seemingly innocent question.

"Black," she replies simply, then looks up at Reiko. "That's his favourite colour." Wait, his? Wasn't she supposed to give her own?

"It's ahrd," Ayana says quietly. "Lying to him is so hard. I'm torn, wondering if it really is in his best interest for me to lie to him. A ... girl I know," Ayana leaves it vague, "says that a familiar is supposed to be her master's conscience. And if I am his conscience, then I feel like I have failed him if I can't even tell him when I'm worried about him." She doesn't reach for another donut. Instead, she just wraps her arms around the little wolf plushie and hugs it tightly. "He has the potential to be such a wonderful person," Ayana explains, "and the dream he told me of, before I realised how he plans to bring about his dream, was so beautiful. I wish I could reach him; I wish I could make him see that he can have what he wants ... without being a villain."

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata gives Ayana a small hug. "Everyone has a conscience," she notes. "But not everyone pays attention to theirs. You've done what you could; now, it's up to him to decide if he's going to listen."

She gently skritches the kitsune about where her fox-ears would be. Even if Ikiko can't do anything immediately to help Ayana, she can at least do her best to make her girlfriend feel better.

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama gives a little frown. She looks down and just listens. "Would he'd listen. I mean... we can try? But... that sounds very much like a last resort kind of plan because I don't think we /get/ a second chance if he knows what's up and we can't make him listen." she says softly.

She can't really comment too heavily on Riventon, she just knows him on the jerk side of the coin and that really paints the whole picture for her.

"Ayana-chan. Is. He filled with dark like you were?" she asks. "I dunno if my purification stuffs can help with that or not, but--- would it help him listen or would it just burn him or something?" she asks curiously.

"Erm... sorry I'll---ask another time..." she mutters.

She sighs and lays her head on the table a bit. "This is gonna be a day..." she mutters.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana looks up at Reiko, and for a brief moment there is a hint of something unkind towards the Prism Keeper behind the fox's eyes. But with her ears being scritched, that dark look vanishes almost immediately, and instead she starts to lean towards Ikiko.

"I cannot tell you anything you can use to harm him," Ayana mumbles quietly as she puts her head on Ikiko's shoulder. "I don't even want you to try and do something crazy like free me from him. But I'm sure you're going to do it anyways." She sighs and closes her eyes. "I've been trying very hard not to think about that."

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata gently kisses Ayana's forehead and keeps skritching the foxgirl. There was a hint in what Ayana just said, but nothing that is directly helpful for trying to save her... well, other than further implying that they'll have to keep their plans a secret from her. Still, that clue about Riventon could be useful someday, as a way to stand up to him.

"Say, what are you two planning on doing for New Year's?" Ikiko asks after a short pause. "It's less than a week away, after all."

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama shakes her head. "Not hurt-- just..." she sighs and just lays her head back down.

"I know this hurts." she says softly. "I'm just afraid what happens if we don't figure out something. I'm sure... we'll figure out something..."

She just sighs. "A couple years ago... me and Mei-chan used to play our Prism Keeper make belive game... and... Hiroko? She used to be in the game too. But.. Hiroko grew distant and then--- started acting hostile and she quit and-- we stopped being friends..." she says. "We lost her and we couldn't find out what was wrong no matter who we asked. We knew it wasn't us-- but that's it..." she says. "...and now she doesn't even have any friends- and there's nothing I can do. Heck, she even admitted she only helped me with my problem because it amused her I was going to her for 'help'..." she mutters.

"I dun't wanna loose another friend like that..." she mutters.

Ayana has posed:
"It's more likely he'll just destroy me," Ayana mumbles to Reiko. "So at least you won't have to know me but not be my friend anymore." She sighs, then says, "Sorry, I'm being a total downer." She offers the little wolf plushy to Ikiko, then says, "I should just shift and get outa here."

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata accepts the plush, then hugs Ayana and gives her a quick kiss. "Stay safe, my love," she murmurs, gently pressing her forehead against the kitsune's. "The next time you visit me during the day, I can go out with you and give you your Christmas present."

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama blinks and heys! "Hey w-wait!" she says as she practically crawls over the bench even though she could had just gotten up and walked around. Off!

She gives Ayana-chan a quick and tight hug. "Be-safe!" she huffs, throwing her fists up in front of her. "-and you run and find help if you need it!"

She stamps her foot down for good measure. Also two koi appear and copy her motions about the time she throws her fists up to either side of her- because of course they do.

Ayana has posed:
All of the hugs and the kisses only serve to make Ayana blush--and look somewhat more miserable'. She looks between the pair, then takes a deep breath, reaches up to wipe at her eyes gently ... and then with a sudden flash of magical energy, she shifts and morphs. Ikiko's borrowed clothes fall in a pile around the svelte form of the little black fox. Ayana's still got on her collar, but the little silver bracelet has fallen off, too. She reaches down to pick it up in her mouth, then peers up at Ikiko briefly, before turning to bound away.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata gives the fox a quick hug and a light kiss on the forehead, then scoops up the shed clothes and puts them into her bag, along with both plushies. She looks at the items in there, then smiles and makes a little nest for 'Chibi-Iki' and 'Chibi-Aya' to snuggle up in.

Not quite the same feeling as actually cuddling with her kitsune girlfriend, but it still warms her heart a bit! <3
