Cast of Characters: | Ayana, Ikiko Hisakata |
- Ayana has posed:
After leaving Mitakihara, Ayana went and hid by herself somewhere for several hours, in too much pain to do much else. Being a magical creature, she heals faster than most, but most of the energy she collected has to go to Riventon, so she can't exactly use it to recharge.
So, still hurting, and low on mana, Ayana makes the decision to go and find a reprieve from it all.
It's nearly eight in the evening when the Kitsune knocks at Ikiko's door. She's changed, at least, into a black sundress and tall stockings, instead of the barrier jacket. Still Night has been returned to its static form, as a little gem on the collar she wears around her neck.
Unfortunately, Ayana looks more than a little worse for wear. Sshe's got scorch marks crawling up one arm where Storm Knight's lightning worked her over, and a growing bruise on her right cheek where she got hit by the display case. There's even a small cut under her right eye where the glass narrowly missed causing a great deal more damage.
In truth, she looks like hell, standing in the cold with no jacket, shivering as she waits for Ikiko or someone from her family to answer the door.
- Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
After the fight at Fairy Drop, Ikiko had picked up a few things that she thought Ayana would need. Since the kitsune now had a standing invitation to Ikiko's house, the sometimes-wolfgirl spent more of her time today in the living room. When the doorbell rang, she went to open the door, just in case it was her girlfriend standing there.
Ikiko winces as she sees just how hurt the foxgirl is. "Come on in, Aya-chan," she smiles, gently giving Ayana a hug on the non-scorched side and lightly kissing the bruised cheek.
Glancing up and down the hall, Ikiko sighs with relief -- her family is mostly busy with other stuff. "Aya-chan's here to spend the night~" she calls to her parents, then hurriedly escorts the kitsune up to her room.
Once the door is safely closed behind them, Ikiko gently gives the kitsune another hug. "I'm glad you made it here okay, Aya-chan," she murmurs. "Have you had anything to eat since then?"
- Ayana has posed:
Ayana staggers in through the door, and tries to kiss Ikiko almost immediately, but she's headed off by the hug and the kiss to the cheek. She doesn't have the energy to try again, right away, so she just leans on Ikiko as she takes off her shoes.
Once Ikiko has half-carried her to her bedroom, Ayana tries again to kiss her, but once more she is headed off by a hug. So instead, she mumbles, "No," to the question of food. "I still have the retriever," she notes. "Don't make any sudden moves. It's dormant, for now, but ... I don't know how they work, really." Ayana collapses onto Ikiko's bed and then hisses in pain, before rolling onto her less-bruised side. This has the unfortunate side effect of giving Ikiko access only to the bruises. "He burned my tails," she grumbles unhappily. "Why is it always fire? I hate fire. I hate being the villain. I don't want to be the villain anymore."
- Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Once Ayana is settled in, Ikiko finally kisses her on the lips -- a short kiss, then she goes over and snags one of the bags sitting on her desk. Carefully sitting on the edge of the bed, she pulls out the contents: a wrapped sandwich that smells like a fox-favorite Carnivore's Special, a bottle of strawberry milk, and a bag of jerky.
"We'll figure out a way so you won't have to be a villain, Aya-chan," she murmurs softly, carefully massaging the kitsune's ears. Let's see, burns visible there, there, and there; lots of bruises, but that usually requires ice, and that wouldn't be comfortable...
Ikiko lightly kisses the glass-cut under the foxgirl's eye. "Go ahead and eat; I have a few things that might help," she remarks, heading back over to her desk to rummage through a second bag.
- Ayana has posed:
Ayana tries to hold onto that kiss a little longer, but Ikiko seems to have everything planned, and that food does smell really good. So Ayana manages to find the strength to overcome her whining malaise and sit up, picking up the sandwich.
"I could just ... drain you," she notes between bites of the sandwich. She doesn't bother chewing, just tears off shreds of the meaty meat stack and swallows them whole. "That's what I'd planned to do. Kiss the bejeebus out of you, steal all of your energy, then cuddle you all night in the hopes that it wasn't too m--ow," Ayana cuts off as Ikiko kisses her on the cut. "That hurts. I think there's still glass stuck in it." There isn't. She really is a crybaby.
- Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
"Well, that's probably a good option for dealing with the bruises," Ikiko admits as she returns with a couple of brushes and some lilac-scented burn lotion, plus a damp washcloth and a towel. "But let's see what we can do about some of those injuries before that."
She gently wipes off any soot around the scorchmarks, cleaning them off before softly rubbing down the foxgirl with the towel to dry her off. She pours some of the lotion onto her hands, then gently dabs it onto the burned locations. "Just show me where the burns are, and I'll make sure to treat them," she murmurs to her girlfriend.
- Ayana has posed:
Ayana finishes the sandwich in record time, beore Ikiko even returns with the washcloth. She's made a mess of it: crumbs and mustard on her chin, dress, and a little on the bed. Ayana is busy trying to lick her chin clean--which is rather amusing to watch since she can't actually reach it with her tongue.
When Ikiko does return, she stops focusing on that task to stare at Ikiko--or more precisely the bottle in her hand. She leans forward to nsiff at it, then notes, "Lilacs. I like lilacs," she says thoughtfully.
"The burns are ... everywhere," Ayana admits unhappily. "Lightning burns, too," she grumbles. "It's not the same. It burns inside, but then it also burns outside, and she puts a bunch into those stupid tornadoes. Stupid of me to get caught in them," Ayana says unhappily. "I feel like my everything got crisped. But mostly it's my left arm, and my stomach."
Grabbing the hem of her dress, Ayana tugs it up and over her head, then tosses it aside, where the glamour simply wobbles out of existence. As promised, her stomach is an angry shade of seared red where her flesh was scorched by Hinote's fire blast. Her left arm is more of a pale shade, but scorched and mangled as well by the electricity.
- Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata winces in sympathy at the sight of the extent of the damage. She first gently rubs the lotion onto the scorched stomach, making sure to cover it beyond the visible extend of the burn while applying minimal pressure. Next, she does the same for Ayana's left arm, and then lightly dabs lotion on any other visible burns she happens to see.
Including the singed tails.
After applying another careful coat to the foxgirl's stomach and left arm, Ikiko uses the washcloth to wipe the last residue of the lotion off of her hands. "I'll try to be gentle with this," she warns, picking up one of the brushes with one hand and supporting one of the kitsune's tails with the other. She does what she can to brush each tail back to fluffiness without tugging too hard on burn-damaged fur.
- Ayana has posed:
Ayana puts both hands back on the bed while Ikiko applies cream to her stomach. When that's done, she offers her arm, and bears all the attentions with nothing more than pouts and winces. She tries hard not to be vocal about it all, but her ears absolutely tell the tale.
When Ikiko finally turns her attention to her tails, Ayana leans forward and grips the edge of the bed. Ears flat to either side, the kitsune lets out low whimpers of pain each time Ikiko manages to accidentally come too close to the sorches on her tails.%
- Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
It's slow going, navigating by sound around the scorched parts of Ayana's tails, but eventually Ikiko gets the foxgirl's lotion-dabbed tails brushed back into a mostly fluffy state. "Sorry about that," she murmurs, leaning over to tenderly kiss her girlfriend.
She uses her hands to sweep the crumbs off of her bed, then puts the various items on and around her nightstand. "Hmm," she muses. "We should probably let the lotion sit for a while longer before doing much else."
- Ayana has posed:
With the attention to her tails complete, Ayana slowly curls up on Ikiko's bed, huddling herself against the cold. "Can I borrow some of your pajamas or a teeshirt or something?" she asks unhappily. "And ... some of your energy? The sandwich was tasty, but I could really benefit from draining you, even if just a little."
- Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
"Sure," Ikiko smiles gently. She goes to her closet and pulls out a set of pajamas, then hands them over to the kitsune. "Your very own pair," she remarks. "Hand-me-downs from some of my relatives, but at least now you have some pajamas that are yours for when you spend the night here."
While Ayana puts on the pajamas, Ikiko finishes tidying up around her bed, then changes into her own pajamas. It's a decent hour to sleep, even if slightly early for her, but extra rest is useful for recovering from a drain.
She climbs into bed, then smiles at Ayana. "So, uh... should I cuddle you, or would it be easier for you to cuddle me?" she asks, trying to figure out logistics. "Either way, it should be plenty warm, together under the blankets!"
- Ayana has posed:
Ayana accepts the pajamas, but doesn't get up to put them on right away. Instead she watches Ikiko change and huddles the borrowed clothes to her chest while she lets the sandwich fuel her a little more.
Eventually she rolls back to a sitting position and pulls the pajama shirt on, but doesn't button it. Putting on the left sleeve just hurts, and she makes soft yowling noises of unhappiness when she puts her arm in. After a moment she takes the shirt back off of that arm, and instead just rests the shirt on her shoulder while she pulls the pants on. At least her legs didn't get burned; only her tails, which stick out over the top of the pant-hem awkwardly. Shirt half on, Ayana flops back down on the bed, then sighs. "Just ... lay down and let me figure it out?" Ayana suggests. "I'll try not to drain you so much that you can't be Cute Wolf, like I did last time. I don't need as much as Riventon did. Just ... a little."
- Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata nods and lays down on her side, carefully draping the blankets over the top of thetwo of them. "Just in case I'm not awake enough to say it later... I love you, Aya-chan," she smiles, reaching over to tenderly kiss the kitsune and massage her ears.
- Ayana has posed:
"I love you, too," Ayana promises quietly. "And I'm really glad you came to try and help," she promises, before leaning in to kiss Ikiko.
Sadly, it's not a kiss of affection, but of need: Ayana's gloom emerges almost immediately, and she begins draining Ikiko of energy directly, drawing heavily on Ikiko's own reserves.
As promised, however, Ayana doesn't take everything. It's only about half of what she took, last time she drained her girlfriend. The cut beneath her eye heals almost immediately, along with the bruises. The burns and scorches heal, as well, although not quite as completely. The damage is so much deeper than just her skin, there. Nevertheless, Ayana sighs happily when the kiss parts, and she reaches up to gently pet Ikiko's hair.
"I love you," she reiterates, this time a little more firmly. Turning away for a moment, Ayana finishes putting on her pajama shirt, and buttons it up, then leans in to kiss Ikiko again.
What she lacked in passion with the first kiss Ayana makes up for now, kissing Ikiko with a firmness and willingness she hasn't shown before. There's no blushing, here; just a kitsune showing affection for her likely now-sleepy girlfriend.
- Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
The draining kiss is somewhat disorienting, not from surprise but from the dichotomy of the empowering love and the sapping gloom. Being able to willingly help Ayana is a good feeling, and the gentle drain is actually more tolerable than some of the other times.
And while she is a bit sleepy after donating energy to the kitsune, Ikiko is giving about as good as she's getting with the kiss, holding her girlfriend close and kissing with all of the remaining energy she can muster.
Finally, though, she can feel the exhaustion catching up after the surge of energy from the passion, so she reluctantly breaks off the kiss. "My lovely Aya-chan," she whispers, snuggling close to the foxgirl and nuzzling her shoulder. If Ikiko's smile is anything to go by, she's going to have sweet dreams once sleep takes her... which is probably going to be very soon!
- Ayana has posed:
When Ikiko breaks off the passionate kissing, Ayana finally has the good grace to blush. "I don't deserve you," the kitsune observes at a whisper. She gently toys with Ikiko's hair, brushing it back behind the wolf-girl's ear. "But I'm glad for you, anyways."
With a sigh, Ayana bows her head and gently places her teeth on Ikiko's shoulder, gnaws at it a few moments, and then kisses the spot she gnawed on. "Sleep sweet, Iki-chan. I'll guard over your dreams, tonight."
