Sunny and Windy

Location:	Uminari City - Central Harbor
Synopsis:	Cure Sunny and Cure Gull go out on patrol. Talk about things and burgers!

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
The air was a little chilly, well more than chilly! It was Janurary! There was snow everywhere- but that didn't mean there wasn't trouble! So Cure Gull was ON THE SCENE!---- of shoving a hamburger into her mouth on top of a rooftop like it was going out of style because she was hungry. She ate it rather quickly and Corvus was all fluffed up on her shoulder, the seagull in a winterhat, because it was potentially adorable.

"Okay..." she says. "I'm burgered up! Time to continue the patrol. Nothing's really happened today thou...."

She pauses. "I wonder what everyone else is up to..."

She pauses again.

"Probably all warm inside. Brrrr~" she talks to no one in particular, but probably Corvus. He speaks.

"Yeah, because they're smart and want to stay warm!" he says. Yeah he might not be happy he's out here tonight helping Gull when he could be inside playing webgames!

Akane Hino has posed:
    Even in the cold of night, there's always a reason to smile. Especially when you're Cure Sunny! A positive outlook on things and a big smile always seems to warm those around you. It's amazing just how positive Cure Sunny can be at times! She happened to be out on patrol also with Cure Gull! She looks at Gull and her companion and smiles.

    "Enjoying the night are you? I'm glad to see that!" She says with a smile as Cure Gull eats her burger. "No matter how cold it is, a smile can always brighten the day!"

Cure Gull smiles to Cure Sunny. "It's a nice night if chilly. Even if Corvus is whining because he'd rather be playing video games!" Corvus says. "Yes I would rather be playing video games." says the seagull.

"See!" she beams, smiling.

"Hey..." she asks.

"You're not one of Blue's Cures. I know that much!" she says. "So.. what do you and your friends protect exactly?" she asks. "I know they protect other stuff sometimes! Something about...."

"....Storybooks?" she asks.

Akane Hino has posed:
    "You might say that, sort of, yeah!" Akane says after a brief pause. "But we protect a LOT of other things too. Like innocent people and those who can't protect themselves." She giggles a little at the next part. "And, of course, being happy!" She stretches her arms over her head and smiles a little more. Then she looks to Corvus.

    "Hey, don't be so grumpy! Soon you'll be back indoors and you can play all the video games you want I'm sure!" She turns and looks out into nowhere in general. "Sure seems like a quiet night."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull grins and nods. "Oh, okay then!" she smiles. "Well yeah, all us Pretty Cure do that!" she says. She head tilts a little. "The Phantom Empire is a bunch of jerks who send people into mirrors then turn thier happiness into a monster. That's who I'm fighting. I dunno what thier beef is with Earth otherwise..." she mutters.

"Right now... yeah. Seems quiet. Quiet is good! It means we can goof off! And--if anything bad happens Corvus will squawk at me!" she insists.

Corvus rolls his eyes.

"So... your Cure name.... Sunny? Did you choose that? Or.. was it given to you?" she asks.

Akane Hino has posed:
    "I kind of agreed on it after it was picked!" Cure Sunny replies. "Everyone thinks I have a sunny disposition, and I kind of agreed, so that's what my name is!" She runs a hand through her hair and continues to smile. "I'm sure it fits me well once you get to know me!" Her smile does fade a little as she continues. "Still, there is such a thing as too quiet, so we best be alert, just in case anything does happen."

Cure Gull thinks on this and nods... "I was just wondering. Kami-sama told us that not all Pretty Cure are alike- but that we're all very similar. I kind of got to 'choose' my name when I was able to activate my 'Love Seed' that night. I choose Gull because... my sister was Tide...! And... The beach is important to me... and! I think seagulls are cute. Even though people see 'em as trashbirds usually...." she mutters.

Corvus used to be a Raven/Crow until recently. He does however, smile pleasently at this. "All PreCures who help Kami-sama are like that- they choose thier names. Usually, it's something important to them though. But. That still doesn't really explain...."

"Cure Pantaloon." she mutters.

"ANYWAYS!" she blushes. "A bunch of people helped me rescue Aki you know... so. My sister's back, too!" she smiles. "Though she's still resting. We're still trying to think up a team name. Even though. Like... she's upset at me a little bit.." she mutters.

"Over some stuff..."

She blinks.

"Oh--right.. how does the name.... 'Ocean Spray Precure!' sound to you?" she asks suddenly.

Akane Hino has posed:
    "Ummm... Ocean Spray Precure?" Akane is caught slightly off-guard by the question, and she tries to process it in her head without looking like she's being critical. "Well, that sounds like a bit of a long name in my opinion." She tries to force a smile. "I don't mean to criticize it or anything, but usually we stick with just one word instead of two in addition to 'Precure.' It's up to you though, if you want to, go ahead!"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull crosses her arms. "Well..there's a.. Happiness Charge! Pretty Cure and.. Bomber Girls Precure! And--- Alo-ha~ Pretty Cure!" she says. "But..hrmmm... maybe... should try for something shorter....Ocean.. Mist. Ocean!..no...." now she's mumbling to herself...

Then her eyes flutter and she blushes. "Ah---! Sorry. I got lost in thought. Just. Otherwise. Aki just blurts out whatever she's thinking and usually it's something really lame and embarassing like Turbo Charge Wave Precure or something..." she mutters.

"...and sometimes the villians don't keep a straight face..."

"...and she really isn't good at thinking up the team intro speech too..."

"A friend of mine thought up the Ocean Spray! name and it sounded kinda neat. She even came up with a catchy intro it's...!

"'Splashing on the sand, giving a helping hand, Ocean Spray Precure!'"!

"Isn't that catchy!?" she asks.

Akane Hino has posed:
    Akane thinks for a moment, trying to process it. After a few moments she grins. "Yeah, that actually does have a catchy twist to it!" She gives a big thumbs-up. "That's totally awesome! I think you should stick with it after all!" She laughs a little at her cheerfulness.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull beams. "I just hope Aki can stop being grumpy at me long enough to get back in action..." she mutters. "She's upset because she missed a lot... and doesn't approve of my girlfriend..." she sighs a bit. "But.. it isn't right for her to be upset at that stuff either. I missed her a lot! Like a LOT a LOT! But..."

"I made my own silly choices and I gotta deal with it too."

"Like thinking I could get a wish as a silly witch stealing souls..." she mutters. "Which just ended up with me being the pawn of some jerks who wanted to destroy the world..."

She kicks a brick off the top of a rooftop a few feet. "From Aki's point of view... she didn't experience time passing. So. Yeah. This is was all jarring for her. Because she woke up in the hospital and suddenly it was two years later." she mutters.

She sighs. "S--sorry you probably have no clue what I'm talking about!" she blushes.

She thinks a bit and taps her chin.

"Sunny... do you ever have magical troubles too? Or.. is it cut and dry for you?" she asks softly.

Akane Hino has posed:
    Biting her lip for a moment, Sunny shakes her head. "I'm so sorry, but I don't know what entirely you're talking about." She gives a sympathetic smile. "If I did, I'd try to talk about it with you. But I'm afraid I can't..."

    A pause then she responds to the other question. "What exactly do you mean?" She asks, sounding rather interested by the next question.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull thinks. "Well. Does it ever bug your real life? Did it change things dramatically for you? Or... would it be super easy for you to go back to being... not magical without too much trouble?..." she asks. "For me... well...."

"I was alone in a dorm room, with no friends and too shy to really do anything, thinking my sister was dead all this time. If it wasn't for the magical stuff happening to me... I'd still be there." she smiles a little.

"So if that was all taken away... It'd be jarring to me.. you know?" she asks.

"I have so many friends now... lots of people who I know care about me... I had to actually worry about Christmas this year!" she beams.

Corvus mutters. "And make me deliver all the gifts..."

"And make Corvus deliver all the gifts!" she beams.

Akane Hino has posed:
    "To be honest, not really," Cure Sunny replies after thinking it over. "I've been able to make use of it as best as I can without letting it disrupt things in general." She smiles a little. "After all, we have to learn to accept what we have and make the best of things. That's how we remain positive!"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull nods. "Lots of people kind of... give me lectures about that. But..." she says. "It's hard because--- well. All the badguys know who I really am. Because of the whole 'Scorn' thing. So-- if all the badguys know who I am- then- what's the point of hiding it from my friends?" she smiles.

"-and if they come for me? Imma gonna... Gull Windy Punch em up into the air!" she insists.

She nods. "But. my experiences aren't really normal, even magically I'm told in a lot of ways." she blushes a bit shyly again. "So maybe I'm not the best barometer of what you should or shouldn't be doing..." she mutters.

She head tilts. "What do you do when you're not being a Precure, Sunny?" she asks softly. "Like, what do you do for fun? What's your family like?" she asks.

Akane Hino has posed:
    "Me? Oh, I work at my family's okonomiyaki restaurant from time to time. It's a lot of fun, you know! I also love to play volleyball as well! So energizing, so much fun!" She smiles big. "I love trying new things, so I'm always open to new suggestions as well."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull taps her chin..."Volley Ball.... Hannah-chan got me into the Kickboxing Club.... cuz she's the captain and-- I wanna learn something athletic!" she beams. She makes punchy motions at the air.

"Though.. to be honest. I never thought I was gonna be in a club..." she mutters with a blush. "..I mean. I've come a long way ya know? But I still get... quiet and blushy around people I don't know. But that's okay! It just means I need time to get to know someone!" she smiles. "Right?"

She thinks... "Okonomiyaki. I haven't had that for a very long time. Usually. I just get takeout- well used to."

"I've been learning how to cook, too!" she beams. "I should try that..." she says. "Cooking that..."

Akane Hino has posed:
    "We should definitely try that sometime!" She yawns a little. "Well, I think I'm ready to call it a night for my patrol. You want to call it a night too or keep patrolling? Either way is fine with me!"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Cure Gull beams! "Sure! I say.... we can go for burgers!"

"Didn't you just have a burger!?" asks Corvus.

"I want another!" she grins.
