Dorm Warming Gifting!

Location:	Mitakihara - Infinity University
Synopsis:	Haruna pays a visit to the new dorm resident! It turns out to be someone she met earlier at the meeting about Waplurgisnacht!

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
    It's taken a little bit for Shinobu to get home. Mami made sure she got there safely thankfully. Now its just Shinobu, her radio and her thoughts. The radio is on and the drawl of people talking over it is hard to miss. Shinobu has a drink in hand. She didn't have anything at the meeting. She didn't know anything was there until the end and she wasn't about to interrupt Sailor Moon's bender. She has a can of soda opened up and a small bag of chips open at this point.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Someone new moved into the dorms! Thusly, when someone does that, Haruna's opted to visit, say hello and deliver food! Now. This was never the case with Haruna. It's a recent activity she's picked up. So when she's done cooking on her stovetop- she's meticiously packages the food into a plastic container- freshly bought and brand new and pre-washed- and closes it tightly.

The dish inside is Teriyaki Chicken, with steamed rice- and a side of snap peas! It's all been pan-grilled or fried.

She also made some for Aki, her sister and Corvus and put the food in the fridge.

She arrived at the door and knocked politely, smiling and waiting for the person inside to answer it. She peeks at the name on the door. Then peers at the braille underneath the door. She knows what this means, because Hannah's swanky dorm room has the same lettering. She runs her finger across it---and frowns. Well. She's getting better at the braille reading- but not perfect. But then the name rings into her head.

"Oh.. Shinobu! I wonder if it's the same one.." she mutters to herself.

Corvus is a seagull on Haruna's shoulder right now. No one really bugs her about her pet seagull. He's behaving at the time being- and not talking out loud.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
    The lights are out inside Shinobu's apartment. She does however answer the door. "Hello? Who is there." She forgot her sunglasses. Blank white eyes peer straight at Both Haruna and then Corvus. "Greetings. Can I help you?" She asks politely. To her this person is just another normal human being. A shaft of yellow light with a smaller shaft of yellow light hovering beside the first one.

Haruna Kurosawa smiles at Shinobu- though- she can't see it! "Oh! It is you! Hi! I was at the meeting earlier!" she says. Then she pauses. "Oh. Right. I was. Cure Gull. I heard someone new moved in down the ways and I came to deliver some food I cooked!" if there's anything unsettling about Shinobu's appearance, Haruna isn't it letting it show in her voice or demeanor of acting.

"Oh. Um. My friend here is Corvus. He's a seagull n' my partner!" she says. "He can talk but probably not out in the hall like this, may I come in Shinobu-san?" she asks with that same smile,

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura smiles and nods, "Oh Hello! Please come on in. I will put the lights on for you." She flips a switch and a very plain room opens up for Haruna and for Corvus. Right by the door, there is one thing that does seem to stand out. A bow staff. Its just just sitting there, Menacingly waiting for some idiot to come to this room and cause trouble. "Thank you for the dorm warming thing. I was getting pretty hungry to be honest." She closes the door behind them and lets out a soft sigh. "So umm... You are a Magical girl. You were the one who spoke with Hannah earlier. She is really excitable it seems." She states as she uses her cane to get back to her seat. "By all means have a seat! Get comfy. I am just sorta winding down. Odds are I won't sleep well tonight anyway."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa smiles and hands the tupperware container over with a bow. "Here. I'm holding it out in front of you! It's a small container. Inside is steamed, lightly seasoned rice, some chicken terriyaki, and some snap peas I all cooked myself." she says as she enters. "Gull's getting very good at cooking." Corvus finally talks now that they're inside.

"Oh... yes. I'm a magical girl! I'm Cure Gull, a Pretty Cure! Corvus is my companion." she nods.

"...oh...."

"You know who White-chan is." she says with a smile. "That makes things easier. Yes! I work with Hannah-chan!" she beams. "She's very important to me..." she blushes.

"We're dating... and all that." she mutters and clears her throat. "Yes! She's quick and brash but it's always to protect what she finds dear....or.. uh. Something realllllly upset her." she giggles.

She has a seat and eyes the bostaff. Not the first time she's seen a weapon just laying there... Suzuki-chan is like that too. She looks back to Shinobu.

"Hannah-chan said you had a special talent. Are you a magical girl, too?" she asks curiously.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu gives a little bow and accepts the container. She would set it aside and wait but she is hungry now. So she sets it by her chair. There is still an open bag of chips there and her drink. Happily she makes her way toward the kitchen and grabs herself some chopsticks. Then it is right back to her chair.

"Oh cool! That is awesome. Nice to meet you Cure Gull, And Corvus. Its a pleasure. Please make yourselves at home. I would be more polite but honestly I am hungry and I really was getting annoyed at that place. The one person flying off the handle like that was a little... foolish in light of everything that is happening." Than the comment about Hannah is made. "I met Hannah right before the meeting tonight. We met on the bus. I was sorta riding around. I had to do something to clear my mind and sadly, that is all I could think to do at the time. She talked to me about some stuff. Namely my vision but. Yeah. She took me there."

She reaches to take the container, opening it she sets the lid aside. The aroma is very nice and it brings a smile to her face. The question though causes her to flat out stop. "Not Yet..."

Haruna Kurosawa smiles. "Not yet?... do you have a way?" she asks curiously, she head tilts.

"I'm a Pretty Cure... that means I obtained a 'Love Seed' and was able to activate it. Though... the way I obtained mine isn't really typical..." she admits kind of in a low tone of voice suddenly.

She frowns. "That was Sailor V. She's supposed to be someone that we all look up to-- but--- that was dangerous of her! Just... firing her crescent beams..." She mutters. "If someone was going to fly off the handle... I expected it to be Hannah...or Kyouko...or anyone else, even!" she huffs annoyedly.

"I mean.. Kyouko was kind of a jerk but..."

"Yeah, you two share blindness in common it seems." she smiles. "Don't worry, I don't make a big deal about it, and I've been around Hannah long enough that I don't usually make faux paus like saying stuff like 'Look at this thing I saw'..." she giggles. "I used to do that a lot. Ask her how I looked... and then I'd have to pull myself back and just blush...." she smiles. "She says my face feels pretty thou..." she mutters.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura sets the food down. Of all the things that could stir everything up, this was the one. "I met a magical creature. He made me an offer today. I told him I would have an answer by the end of the week."

She stops for the time being seeming lost in thought. "Sailor V. I was sitting near the Sailor V. Like the one on the radio?" She starts laughing. "I told Sailor V how to do her job! Oh my gods! I feel silly now. Oops! Somehow I don't think a My Bad is going to cover that one." She giggles it out now. "I'm guessing Kyouko was the red one?" She asks?

She does calm down when blindness is brought up. for a few moments she listens. Her eyelids close on those blank white eyes and a wince forms on her face. "The creature I met today. He said some things... including something about my gift. While I am blind I see things much differently rather than not at all. I see life energy and magic."

Haruna Kurosawa laughs. "Yeah that's her, the one that started shooting beams." she giggles. "She likes to mis-interpurt everything I say and fluster me because she thinks I'm always talking about boys or girls I like...." she mutters.

She head tilts. "Oh. So you can see things... kind of." she says.

Then she pauses. "Ah...." she says. "I don't suppose this thing tried to get you to.. uh. Wish for something in turn becoming a magical girl?" she asks hesitantly.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura nods slowly. "Yes." She states this matter of factly as she leans forward and takes the food again. Slowly she takes a bite. "This is really yummy" She sighs. "I can see life energy and magic energy. For instance, You are a pillar of yellow light right now. Earlier you had color to you. I am guessing its because you were powered up. Corvus is yellow light with hints of purple which means magic. That is how I see. I don't see walls or anything without life flowing through it. I see through them. Only life and magic." She pauses and then takes another bite. "You know of him."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa nods. "Yeah. Hannah-chan would have me try to warn you off it, so I'm going to try-- but in the end... I can't really stop you!" she says. "Mainly... a lot of people who make the wish end up dead. It's a raw deal. It locks you into this.. sort of pyramid scheme of needing to waste energy to kill these things called witches to get grief seeds to recharge your energy. Rinse, repeat. The other types of magical girls you are don't trust you- because you're all fighting over those 'grief seeds' all the time- because you die if your energy runs out. I hear that Puella Magi-- the kind of magical girl this thing wants you to become- don't really live for very long, but I've also heard about some that have been doing it for a long time. I guess it depends how ruthless you're willing to be..."

She sighs. "In the end. That's up to you. "I don't know how that feels. I know if I see another Pretty Cure.. I can trust them. We're all in this together, you know? And all Pretty Cure don't have the same goals but our power all comes from what we belive in, in the end." she smiles, trying to remain hopeful.

"If..." she says with a hard breath.

"If you do make the wish. I want you to talk to Hannah-chan /immediatly/! She probably won't be happy at first and be a little a upset--- but not at you-- just the deal in general-- but--- she also runs an organization that tries to bring Puella-Magi together and try to increase thier chances of survival. I work with her- and assist Puella-Magi when I am able--- it doesn't really cost me anything to use my power except feeling tired at the end of the day." she giggles.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura nods slowly as she listens to what she is being told. "I figured it would be something like that with a contract involved. All I know is that after tonight saying no is not an option. I'm not going to standby and watch everything I know and love be destroyed. I can't. You know that. I'd sooner risk death to protect people than walk away knowing that I may have caused a loss of life." She sighs and sets the food down again.

There is more to it. Some of the things he said made a lot of sense. Like how I see the way I do. I should by all rights be in the dark constantly. I shouldn't have this ability at all. He said its because of the potential I have inside of me. Then there is the whole wish thing..."

Haruna Kurosawa nods. "What...you wish for is personal and entirely up to you." she says softly. "I probably shouldn't give you ideas because then Hannah-chan might get upset at me if I'm goading you. I already told you what I think and that's all I can do in the end." she sighs.

She thinks and nods. "That makes sense I guess..." she says. She looks down. "Actually... I think I just lied. I think...I do know how that /might feel.../" she says a little sadly. "I... well I wasn't always like this, you know?" she mutters. "I used to be kind of a downer---and I'd hide myself away and-- be upset at people just for trying to approach me. Because... Well I used to be alone. Really alone. I thought my sister was dead-- and she's all I had... you know?" she says softly.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
"My father blinded me." Shinobu states and again is down cast. She shakes her head. "Sorry. I didn't mean to be rude. I understand how it is. I just can't do nothing. It would go against what my mom did for me. She didn't want me to ever be a victim. She put me into martial arts so I would never be a victim like the people she represented. Now here we are. I'm scared. If I do nothing I am going to wind up exactly how my mom didn't want me to be. A victim. But if I do this, I will be able to fight and protect those who can't in this case." She sighs. "I don't know. I mean there is always my sight. It sounds selfish and it probably is, though if I am going to be fighting witches and the like, saving lives than perhaps a little selfish isn't so bad?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa thinks.... "... as a Pretty Cure who answers to Kami-sama...." she says softly. "...We get a 'wish' if we can fill our PreCard Decor... PreCards are... magical cards we can use to access some silly powers and outfits sometimes." she says softly. "If we can fill our Decor... we get a wish. But....."

"Wishes can cause misfortune, we're warned. Selfish ones tend to do that the most. In the end. It's up to you." she smiles as best as she can.

She frowns and places an arm around to squeeze Shinobu's shoulder and tugs her into a short hug- just quick as she releases. "...I know /all/ about sucky parents. Don't worry about that." she says.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura sighs a little. "I am thinking I may wish for my sight back. It sounds so silly, I know. I just can't think of anything else to wish for." She sighs a little. "If I were to do anything more grand I think there would be much bigger consequences than a small thing like my vision. I just wish this were easier." She hugs back at Haruna. "It would be nice to look in the mirror and fix my own hair. Is that too crazy?"

Haruna Kurosawa shakes her head. "Not at all!" she says. "If that's what you want, then that's what you want. In the end, it's up to you." she says. "I can think of sillier things to wish for. Like for food, or to not be late for a class." she giggles.

"But... I can understand your desire to help. I want to help everyone I meet. But.. you can't do that. Sometimes. They need the help of someone proper or more suited to the task."

She head tilts.

"But maybe something else might come to mind, of what you want, too." she says.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura nods slowly. "Well, I told Kyubey that I need a week. I'm going to talk to my friend Madoka. Her name was brought up while I was talking to him. I met Madoka a few days ago. I know there were several Puella Magis there tonight and as much as I wanted to meet and talk with them about this, its not exactly easy to just walk up to someone when everyone literally looks alike." Finally she gets back into the food. Yeah she is still quite hungry and the fact that she keeps putting it off isn't helping matters.

Haruna Kurosawa smiles and sits there quietly to give Shinobu plenty of time to eat. She preens Corvus in the meantime, moving him to her lap. She smiles a bit. She answers after a bit. "Sorry for that, I wanted to give you a bit to eat." she giggles.

"..Madoka Kaname? Oh! I know her. She's a friend." she sighs a bit, though at hearing this thing mentioned her. She doesn't expound.

She smiles. "I'm petting Corvus right now. He enjoys it." Corvus blushes. "I kinda do. It's nice." he insists.

She smiles. "Corvus is special to me, even if he's responsible for a lot of the hardship I went through some many many months ago." she says. "Would you like to try petting him?" she asks.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura finishes eating and sets the container aside. She burps quietly, "Oops, Excuse me. I didn't realize how hungry I was. Thank you for that. Really. I have been really distracted with everything. When I wasn't listening to the things going on at the meeting my mind was on the whole situation from earlier."

At the offer to pet Corvis, she gives a little smile and a nod. Reaching out towards the smaller beam of light she carefully moves closer not wanting to accidentally hurt the bird. "I've never pet a bird before. I did run my hands over kyubey earlier just so I could sorta see what he looks like. Those ears are weird!" She states before finally touching and gently petting Corvis.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa grins and picks up Corvus and places her on Shinobu's lap. "Pet with the direction of the feathers. From his head, down to his tail feathers." she says. "Just carefully." she smiles. Corvus cooooos pleasently.

"How'd that thing feel?" she asks.

"Corvus used to be a jerk raven. Then he was not-quite a jerk raven. Then... he was ressurected as seagull when he saved my life...during a battle with the Precure Hunter. I had another friend like Corvus too... Procyon. He was a tiny raccoon-- though..." she giggles. "I owe my mischiefous nature to him." she smiles warmly.

"He was special. When I was in a bad place, he'd do his best to make me smile with his inanity. Like. He'd just randomly steal keys. Like. he'd jingle me awake and go... 'Haruna, someone in like Russia is going to be SO LATE FOR WORK!'." she giggles.

"He... kind of sacraficed himself to save me and my friends. He had his reasons for doing so. I just miss him a lot.. but I'm happy that I got to know him."

She doesn't sound super sad about this. "I do miss him though."

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura nods slowly and smiles as she feels the soft feather against her fingers. She does pet with the feathers and not against them. "Wow. You are really soft." She smiles brightly. Listening to the words spoken, Its hard for her not to be a little upset. No tears though. She just frowns and continues petting the bird. Then when she sees the silly story, she gives a smile. "I am so sorry to hear about that." Her voice cracks as though she were crying. Still no tears though.

Haruna Kurosawa shakes her head. "He wasn't happy...." she says. "...Corvus... and him, were trapped in these tablets and had been for a VERY long time. Corvus... well he tricked me into releasing him when he was a jerk... and I was brainwashed to finish the job by this group called 'The Dark Kingdom'. At the time... I was this 'witch'-- though the correct term would had been 'priestess' called 'Scorn'. Procyon- instead of seeking freedom- helped me stop Corvus."

"The way these beings freed themselves was--- to have thier 'priestess' drain souls. I sent a lot of Toyko into comas doing that." she admits. "Procyon... wanted to be free. But all he could do was project his power-- and spend it like that. When it became clear the only way to free himself /was/ draining souls... he opted to-- well. He told Blue-sama it was to go out in style--- so he did that." she smiles and places a hand to Shinobu's shoulder and gives her another hug. "H--hey! No crying! You didn't even know him!" she giggles. "--and to be honest. He wasn't happy being stuck in that tablet." she admits softly.

Shinobu Kimura continues to sob. The story is sad and even the explaination is pretty sad for her to. Then she is told not to cry. That doesn't help. "I can't cry. My eyes get just wet enough to keep from drying out entirely. Nothing more than that." She sighs a little. "Sorry. Your story is really sad. I guess this is sorta why I want to be a magical girl. Even if I need to hunt witches to keep going, I get to help others and that means the world to me. A little light shatters a lot od darkness."

Haruna Kurosawa nods. "It does..." she says softly.

"I..." she says. "... when Kami-sama told me that my sister wasn't actually dead and... a captive of this group called 'The Phantom Empire', It felt like... my world sort of tore open. Like I'd been in this really bad place for a long time and then .. suddenly wasn't."

"I mean...I wasn't alone. Everyone there that night helped... reminded me that... there are people who'll care about me, and want to help me." she smiles.

"Then I became a Pretty Cure--- like my sister was."

She pauses.

"Right then me and a buncha those friends I made went and helped me save my sister. It was hard but we did it and she's back with me now and everything!" she beams.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura smiles, "I'm happy to hear that. I am glad it all worked out." She reaches over and picks up a little squishie ball and begins squeezing it and letting her hands move over it. "There is a lot to think about I guess. Odds are by the end of this week, my life is going to change dramatically. I'm probably not going to sleep very well tonight. Probably not gonna sleep well the rest of the week. At least I have something to hold onto right?"

Haruna Kurosawa slips Corvus back onto her shoulder and grins. She looks back at Shinobu. "It's up to you in the end. If you want someone to talk to, I'm down the hall in room 436. Just ask for Haruna. If my sister answers, you can talk to her too. Corvus'll answer if you speak through the door and ask if he's there. He likes hanging out and playing MMORPGs sometimes." she giggles.

She smiles. "Do you want me to bring you more food tommrow? Or are you able to handle yourself just fine?" she asks curiously. "Oh! I'm not trying to offend. Just. I practice cooking a lot! I'm trying to get good for Hannah-chan~" she laughs.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura laughs a little and gives a small smile. "I can't cook myself. I've been pretty much just going out and getting things when I'm hungry but, I know I can't keep doing that. I don't want to be a burden to anyone. It sucks really. I've not been able to learn to cook without nearly burning down the kitchen at home."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa grins. "Oh! Then I can cook for you. It's no biggy! If there's things you can't eat, or don't like, lemme know- and I can cook special if I need to cook something else for you~" she grins. "I'm getting better. Much better! Sometimes it's Amrican food though--- like Beef Stew... or.... Fried Chicken. Because Hannah's from America she likes that. Though. Not all the time...."

"Hannah likes eating what I choose to cook, too. Someday, I'm going to learn how to Teriyaki and ENTIRE whole pig and cook it!" she insists.

"...oh. Because. She had that a BBQ once she held." she blushes.

"Anyways..."

"I should get going! You can keep the tupperware and food until tommrow~ I'll take the old stuff from ya the next day. Tommrow I think I'm going to try to cook...."

"...I think some sort of steak." she says.

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura blinks a few times and blushes. "I will come by tomorrow and will let you know if anything changes. I will be in touch." She picks up a tablet and a pen. Her handwriting is pretty cute actually... not much has changed there. "This is my phone number. Call anytime."

*CLICK!*"Baka!" she facepalms, jumps up and moves to grab her coat off her hanger. Reaching into the pocket she pulls out a voice recorder. "Dammit. I forgot it was recording. I set it up to record at the meeting. Taking notes isn't easy for me and I've no idea what they were talking about but, At least I have some sort of notes right?" SHe returns to her seat, opens a drawer and pulls out a new tape.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa beams. "Okay!" she says.

She head tilts. "Oh! Well. Make sure that tape is safe."

She beams and stands up. "I'm going to head back to my room now. I need to do a few things tonight before I go try to sleep." she grins.

"Do you need anything before I go?" she asks. "I have errands to do, I can always pick up some things."

Shinobu Kimura has posed:
Shinobu Kimura shakes her head, "You rest well, Cure Gull. Be safe and stuff." She gives a little smile. Standing up, She gives a polite bow and then moves towards the door. "If you ever need my help with anything let me know. I'm not entirely innept. I am here on a scholarship after all. I am really good at public speaking. I guess thats why I spoke out tonight."

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa beams. She grins and bows back, even if she can't see it, and also, gives a short hug. "Yup. Also. My sister knows about the Cure thing--- she's one too! She's Cure Tide! Though her real name is 'Aki'." she gently grins.

"See you tommrow with food~" she says as she takes off politely, softly closing the door behind her.

Shinobu Kimura smiles and gives a little waves to her new friend. Then quietly she closes the door, locking it behind her. The lights are turned off once again. Only the hum of the radio can be heard as she retires for the evening.
