Location:	Uminari City - Residential District
Synopsis:	After the events of 'Neon in Monochrome', Reiko and Ayana have a sleepover at Ikiko's place, and talk about the things that are bothering them.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
After the fight against the Shade 'Mecha', Ikiko found herself with two friends that needed to spend the night at her place. Ayana already has an outstanding invitation to come over when needed, and Reiko's encounters with the cursed doll means that the younger girl is easy enough to get permission for.

After getting the dishes and such for a light late meal, Ikiko and friends went up to her room to eat the food. "Well, that was a lively day," Ikiko remarks, pouring drinks for the three of them.

Reiko Touyama has posed:
The group has to make a small detour to get some things from Reiko's home, but otherwise make it back fine as she sets down her bag and she flumps down onto floor and peeks down at the food and smiles as her drink is poured. "Thank you, Ikiko~ This was a good idea, Ayana~" she smiles. She's in a better mood than she was.

She begins eating happily, mostly.

She huddles up a bit, indeed she needed this break! Her koi appear, with bibs with smaller koi on them, and forks and knives and begins to hover towards the plate.

"Ack. No. Mine." she mutters.

The dejected koi poof away, dejectedly.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana follows the others in quietly, and even pauses to give Ikiko's mother a hug. (What? That's new.) She then helps Ikiko carry snacks and drinks to her room. (What? That's also new.) Finally, she sits down and allows Ikiko to do the serving.

When the koi fish appear, Ayana starts and licks her lips hungrily, but doesn't reach for them. Reiko would probably not like that, and right now Reiko looks a little upset. Best not to push her buttons. Today.

But this thing where friends help friends is not really her strong suit, so now that they're behind closed doors, Ayana reaches for the food so she can keep her mouth thoroughly stuffed.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
With drinks distributed and food being dug into, Ikiko leans over to give Reiko a small one-armed hug while skritching Ayana's ears for a few moments with her other hand. Having both of her main friends over is enjoyable, even if it's tempered by the fact that the two of them are having bad days.

Still, it's good company and good food, and after helping recharge Ayana earlier the food definitely hits the spot!

As Ikiko eats, she glances at her friends. Reiko had been in need of time to hang out to de-stress about something; maybe talking it over before bed would be a good idea. And Ayana... well, the kitsune was in need of healing, TLC, and comfort. The foxgirl's unexpected hugs and helpfulness were unusual enough that there's probably something that she wants to talk about, too.

"Enjoying the food, you two?" Ikiko asks after a few minutes, giving her two friends a warm smile.

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama softly head tilts as she puts her plate down to take a larger sip of the drink as she sighs. "H..hey---thanks you two... for helping with that. I hadn't seen a Shade for a while proper. I didn't expect one out just trying to... improve my mood..." she mutters.

"I forgot how much it stings when one forms right in my vincinity. My Crystal kind of reacts violently to it." she mutters.

"Dunno what the creepy doll was doing there though..."

Ayana has posed:
The kitsune has her mouth full when Reiko and Ikiko start talking. She swallows, then makes a soft noise of embarassment before admitting, "It's tasty. But I dunno if there's enough for all of us."

Ayana looks to Reiko thoughtfully, then admits, "I think she was there watching you. She seemed to think you're her toy. It was kinda cute. I wonder if she'd buy you a fancy leash, if you asked nice." Here, she trails off, as if thoughtful on the matter, and her gaze slowly drifts back to Ikiko. Then she blinks and blushes and looks back to Reiko. "So why were you in a bad mood?"

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
"Hard to tell," Ikiko shrugs. "Could just be a coincidence, that she was visiting Neon District at the time." She doesn't mention that it also might not be a coincidence that the cursed doll was near where Reiko was. "Still, it at least looks like she's not in league with Griselda or the Shades, which is a good thing, right?"

She blinks at Ayana's reaction to the idea of buying a fancy leash, wondering why the blush when the foxgirl looked at her. "I think there's a few more things in the fridge that we can have, and I did restock the snacks in my room," Ikiko remarks to the kitsune. "But I thought that starting with a bit of a meal would be best."

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama frowns. "That doll is jealous and thinks of everything it taunts is it's plaything so it probably got jealous because someone else was hurting me." she huffs. "That..things been following me around a lot." she sighs. "It's one of the things that has me in a bad mood. But...I refuse ... to not help Misa-chan because of it. Someone has to do something and stand up to... well! It's just another kind of bully!" she huffs.

She swallows another bite of food.

She looks down... "The guy I like... kinda... met someone else first... and that kinda has me down too. I did a lot of work for nothin..." she says.

"...and then my parents are kinda buckling down on me, trying to send me to Infinity University. They're both jerks.... I barely see them and.. they try to do these things to me!" she huffs and crosses her arms for a moment as she huddles up to herself a bit.

She blinks. She looks at Ayana. Then to Ikiko. Then back to Ayana.

Oh then she blushes when things connect in her head. ///o.o///

Wait, how did Ikiko not pick up on that!?

Still she clears her throat and the color returns to her cheeks as normal slowly. "Yeah...that too..." she mutters.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana scrubs her face with her hands, then reaches for more of the food. Yep, this is definitely time to keep her mouth full so she can't talk. Because right now, she is pretty sure anything she has to say is going to bite her in the butt.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata blinks at Reiko, then blinks at Ayana, then blinks nowhere in particular. Why are her friends blushing so much?!

Eh, not important right now.

She leans over and gives Reiko a big hug. "Why are they so insistant on you going to Infinity?" she asks. "You like Seishou, you have friends there... isn't that enough?"

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama looks at Ayana and giggles just a bit, before she looks back at Ikiko and accepts the big hug because she kind of needs it right now. She sighs and leans back after releasing it. "They say they want better for me... but...I can't leave Red-chan behind.. and... I can't most certainly leave Misa-chan there alone! I'm the only one she'll even talk to because I haven't had something horrible happen to me yet because of the doll..." she mutters.

She adjusts her glasses a bit.

"To be honest. I do kind of want to go. But I don't for those reasons. I care about my friends, you know...?" she asks. "..and I don't exactly have a lot of them..." she mutters.

Ayana has posed:
"It's not like going to Infinity means you can't see your friends," Ayana says gloomily. "Geeze, it's just a school. The city's not that big, and Ikiko," no honorrific, "can watch Misa-chan and Red-chan, and I can, too, because I don't even go to school anymore. So if you want to go to Infinity you should." Wait, she was keeping her mouth shut. Crap. Ayana reaches for more food, but finds there's none left. Nggg. "Reiko-chan, did you bring any jerky?" Please.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata reaches over and gives Ayana a small hug. "Sometimes it just feels better to support someone in person, Ayana," she smiles. "Still, thanks for offering to help out; knowing that you'd be there is encouraging for me."

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama blinks and sighs at Ayana. "Things... aren't really that simple Ayana-chan." she sighs. "I don't even know anyone in Infinity. I'd just be alone there... and miserable--- and sure, I'd be able to go to classes specfically for my art most of the time, but... well. Like I said." she sighs miserably a little.

She blinks and smiles. "I always keep some on me, just for you Ayana-chan~" she beams. She reaches into her pocket and takes out the closed packet of jerky. She rips it open and hands it to Ayana with a giggle.

She looks to Ikiko and nods matter of factly.

"Just..lots of stuff in my head." she sighs.

"I wonder if anything special or magical is going to happen to me sometimes that isn't... well. horrible is all sometimes." she says with a sigh.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana takes the jerky hungrily and shoves a big piece in her mouth. She leans into Ikiko's hug, but rather than swallowing it whole like she normally does, she instead takes the time to start chewing.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata looks from one friend to the other, then gives them both a big hug! "Just have to keep hoping for the best and doing what we can to make it come true!" she beams encouragingly.

She lets go of the other two, then rummages around her snack stash, pulling out a bag of cookies and another pouch of jerky. "Something sweet sounds like a good idea right now," she nods, opening the bag of cookies and offering it around.

Ikiko then puts the pouch of jerky next to Ayana. "Ayana, you're seeming more..." she murmurs, trying to figure out a non-insulting way of rephrasing the term 'polite'. "More domesticated than usual. What brought the change?"

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama nods. "She didn't just reach into my pocket and take the jerky!" she beams at Ikiko.

Then she looks at Ayana. "Don't worry! It's a good thing!" she says, with a smile.

She does sigh at Ikiko. "I tried really hard, you know?... so.. I dunno anymore." she sighs loudly. "Right now...."

"I just want to help Misa-chan... and make sure I don't end up in Infinity against my will..." she mutters.

Ayana has posed:
That's when Ayana swallows the wad of jerky in her mouth, whole. She practically chokes on it, and glares at Ikiko. "'Domesticated'!?" She pauses and thinks about the word for several long, quiet moments, then frowns severely. "Maybe," she agrees, then reaches up to touch the collar around her neck. "I guess ... maybe." Slowly she seems to wilt, ears drooping downwards beside her head.

"This morning, some pervy old man made me uncomfortable," she says unhappily. "And all I did was defend myself from him, and then Sailor Mars came along and burned me really bad. I had to eat a whole retriever's worth of dark energy, which isn't fun, let me tell you what. And then I tried to cook dinner for T--Riventon, except ..." she trails off, then sighs. "Except now I'm scared of fire. It just ... overwhelmed me with this terrifying feeling that I was going to die. And I don't know if that's going to be forever of it's just because I was still hurt from the fire. But ... but ... well, that's why I was out feeding in the Neon District tonight. He wouldn't let me leave home until I was better, but even getting energy from him ... I just ... I wanted to feel like I could be myself for a little bit without getting burned. I needed to make sure I could still do it."

"And I guess ..." she trails off quietly, "I guess I'm just scared that if I offend either of you, I'll get burned again. It hurts," she explains with a little whine in her voice.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata nods to Reiko and pats the younger girl's shoulder. Sometimes all you can do is your best, and hope that it will all work out in the end. Friends can do what they can to help, but sometimes there's nothing to say.

As she listens to Ayana, a mix of emotions cross Ikiko's face -- indignation at the old man, annoyance at Sailor Mars, then sympathy at the aftermath. She scoots over to her girlfriend, wrapping her arms around the foxgirl and holding her close, as if to hold Ayana in Ikiko's lap.

"You're our lovely friend, Ayana," she murmurs to the kitsune, gently kissing her cheek and rubbing her ears. "We don't take insult from your everyday behavior; we wouldn't burn you for that."

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama looks to Ikiko, then to Ayana and listens with a huff. "Some perveu old man!? Who!? I have a right mind to tell an adult!" she huffs angrily. "I know my grandpa will march right down there and he'll go...."

"'I'll show ya how I did it in the army you miserable wretch!' she says in a mock old man's voice.

"And then maybe deck him in the face!" she huffs.

She does however, lean forward and give Ayana a great, big, hug! "Ayana-chan..." she whimpers. "We both know you gotta do bad stuff and.... there's not much that can be done about it right now." she sighs. "So don't worry, okay!?"

She huffs and leans back. "I used to... be afraid of water. When I was smaller." she blushes. "...like... if I could see the bottom it was okay...but..."

"It's when you can't that makes me worried. Just how deep does it go... does it even end...? What if something drags you down deep deep deep..." she mutters.

"...my grandpa got me over that by taking me to the aquarium for my first time, and we saw one of the deep deep tanks, and he had one of the aquarium works take me to the back and......"

"When you look down the bottom of the tank from the top it's so dark like that!...but...."

"From the side looking in...it wasn't much different than a shallow bottom and there were just fish down there too! So I realized it was kinda silly to think of scary monsters that deep down..." she mutters with a blush.

"I guess that's a lot different than fire... but..."

"I don't think a 'fear' is forever...not..like that I don't think..." she says softly.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana allows herself to be pulled, more or less, into Ikiko's lap. She leans into the pettings, and although her ears remain drooped to the sides, she at least looks somewhat molified. All three tails wag gently against Ikiko's side.

"I already drained him," Ayana mumbles to Reiko. "He probably won't wake up for a few days." She sighs and mumbles, "I don't even know what 'bad stuff' really is, most of the time. Everyone says I'm a bad person because I drain energy, but then why aren't they bad for eating cows or pigs? And I don't even kill people to get my energy. Most of the time they don't even notice. Human morality is stupid," she grumbles. "It doesn't make any sense."

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
"Humans are confusing at times," Ikiko agrees, still rubbing Ayana's ears. "Ask five people why something is wrong, and you'd probably get three different answers. There's even entire classes about debating what is 'good stuff' and what is 'bad stuff'! For the rest of us, sometimes you just have to learn as people realize to teach you about it."

For a moment the thought of fire-breathing sea-monsters crosses her mind. She gives her head a quick shake, trying to dislodge the mental image. No need to combine the nightmares of her friends, after all!

"I think what most people have against energy draining is that the energy usually isn't freely given, and most who drain energy aren't as restrained as you about it," Ikiko remarks to the kitsune.

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama frowns. "Like the Shade...." she says softly. "It just took the color because it wanted to and then turned into a monster to defend itself until it could potentially escape. You guys have never seen a Shade's real form... they're like tiny black imps. You typically only see them after the color's been stolen and they're inside the ball and become something big and awful." she says.

She peeks at Ayana... "If you ever need energy and Ikiko isn't available or can't provide it..." she says. "...you can come bug me Ayana. I'll let ya drain me!" she beams. "I can be tired or sleep for a bit just fine. I'd rather see you okay then hurt." she says softly.

"--and yeah. We all have different views on what's wrong or right sometimes. Like... the eating cows thing? There's a group of people called 'Vegans' who detest eating animals, animal products and stuff like that for a buncha reasons- one of them because they think it's wrong to eat animals!" she beams.

"--and even I kinda think a little bit before I eat a tuna sandwhich..." she says.

"...even though tuna is kinda yummy..."

"...I don't think I'm gonna stop eating tuna just cuz I super love fish." she blushes.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana huffs unhappily at the explanations from her friends. "Humans overcomplicate everything. Foxes just eat because they are hungry. And they don't stop to ask if someone else is okay with them eating it; they just eat it if they can, and don't if they can't. And if 'they can't' because it belongs to someone else, then that someone else had best darned well prove that they deserve to keep it."

Still, those scritches do feel nice, and Ayana's eyes slowly drift closed. "It's just easier when you aren't worried about making someone made who isn't involved. If they wanna defend themselves from me eating their energy, then let them. I won't mind. But I don't see why other people have to get involved."

She stifles a yawn, then notes, "I have had a really long day, though. Iki-chan, where are my pajamas? I'm gonna get changed and curl up in your bed."

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata smiles gently. "On a hanger in the closet, Aya-chan," she murmurs, kissing the foxgirl on the cheek and reluctantly stopping the skritching. "I should probably gather up the dishes and take them downstairs."

She covers a small yawn. "Then I should get some sleep as well," she admits. "Rest is a good thing after this day, and sleepytime snuggles will probably be a good thing for us."

Ikiko gives Reiko a small grin. "That includes you, too, if you'd like, Reiko-chan," she adds. "If we stay close and don't move around much, I think we can all fit on there. And if not... well, the three of us can set up group futons, and that should work!"

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama looks at Ayana. "Sleep actually sounds good. I should get into my pajamas..." she says as she offers her plate to Ikiko as she goes to her bag and opens it, removing a pair of light orange pajamas with tiny fish on them. (Because of COURSE Reiko wears fish PJs). She escapes into the bathroom to get changed, and comes back out, old clothes in a plastic shopping bag she shoves them into her backpack and sighs.

"At least the stupid doll shouldn't mess with the window here..." she mutters. She peeks back to Ikiko and blinks.

"Uhm... okay!" she smiles. She was ready to just kinda grab a spare blanket and steal a corner. That's way better!

Ayana has posed:
Reiko to the bathroom, Ikiko with the dishes downstairs, so Ayana just changes in the bedroom. Not that she's terribly modest to prevent changing in front of the other two anyways.

Once the other two are back, Ayana eyes the bed thoughtfully, then lies down in it first and notes, "If we can't all fit, I can just turn into a fox. That's how I usually sleep, anyways," she notes with a yawn.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
After delivering the dishes downstairs and detouring to the bathroom on the way back, Ikiko arrives in her pajamas. She sizes up the situation with the bed, then shrugs and crawls into bed next to Ayana. "Yeah, this isn't quite going to work," she admits, her arms wrapped around the foxgirl in an effort to keep balanced on the bed.

Glancing over to Reiko, she gives an encouraging grin. "Go ahead and climb in on the other side!" she beams. "We can all at least get a giggle of how silly it is, then we can scoot closer once Ayana turns into a fox."

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama thinks about this for a little bit..."You know, it'd be awesome if I could turn into a koi..." she wonders tapping her chin.... "...all Ponyo like..." she giggles.

Then she tries to get up into the bed and fail spectacularly and eeks. "Yeah... not much room here!" she giggles a bit.

Ayana has posed:
Ayana rolls her eyes at the other two, and immediately shrinks down into a fox. It takes her a moment to climb out of the pool of clothing left behind, since there's so little room, but then the little fox bounds up onto Ikiko's stomach, pads across, and lays down in between the two girls--sort of. There's not exactly a lot of room.

Ikiko Hisakata has posed:
Ikiko Hisakata pets and skritchies Ayana-fox, then reaches over with her lower hand to hug Reiko. Her other hand continues to idly pet the kitsune, making sure that the two human girls are close enough to snuggle around the fox without actually squashing Ayana between them.

"Good night, Reiko-chan," Ikiko murmurs softly, smiling at her friend. "And sweet dreams, my beloved Ayana," she gently woofs at her girlfriend.

Reiko Touyama has posed:
Reiko Touyama grins as she smiles. "Night Ikiko-chan~ Night Foxy-chan~" she says as she leans down and gives Ayana a soft pet and sritch behidn an ear like she knows dogs like---but doesn't know if foxes like.

Then she tries to close her eyes and drift off to a sleep she hopes isn't as turbluent as the past few!~

Ayana has posed:
For a brief moment, the little fox looks unhappy with her situation. But then she has a pair of hands scritching behind her ears, and what canid can possibly be upset under such conditions!?

The little fox begins to purr almost like a cat, and gently licks at the hands and faces of the two girls, before settling in between them. Warm, loved, and protected. Is there anything better?
