Tea Biscuits and Togo-sans!
Date of Scene: 24 January 2016
Location: Pikarigaoka - Seiyou Public School
Synopsis: Haruna meets Mimori Togo in Seiyou while she wonders how to eat all the tea biscuits she made. Haruna is someone's senpai!?- be very afraid.
Cast of Characters: Haruna Kurosawa, Mimori Togo

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa had come to the tea garden in Seiyou to have tea with Blue-sama. It's always strange- because you have tea with Earth's Guardian Deity and you also call him god (Kami-sama), but he's the nicest person /ever/. If there's anything she's learned from Blue is, it's that divine beings aren't really as flawless as normal mortal humans.

She's walking along with a box of the 'rest of the tea biscuits' because she got to take them home today!

For now, she's sitting on a bench on a pathway in the school. If Seiyou had dorms- she might transfer--- but it's more convient to stay at Infinity Univeristy for now, with her sister.

Also, the biscuits are homemade. She made them! Her first foray into small scale baking- they decent. She'll get better.

She peeks open the container and looks around. Ugh.

She'd feel like such a pig sitting here eating half a container of tea biscuits alone. There's gotta be SOMEONE around here to share them with.

Mimori Togo has posed:
Think about the need of a savior, and the Hero Club is there to help! Even when it's mere coincidence!

Mimori Togo wheeling her way down one of the paths around the school isn't really an uncommon sight. She helps many of the studying, computer, and home economics clubs around the academy, and today was no different! Now on her way back from helping one of the clubs set up their website, Togo hums happily at the memories of a job well done.

Upon seeing someone with another school's uniform on a bench, she approaches with a warm smile. "Hello, welcome to Seiyou. Are you here looking for someone?" Visitors are often lost, so it's not a bad habit to offer directions! Of course, she doesn't really recognize this girl, even though they've met before.

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa furrows her brow, staring at the tea biscuits and--- someone speaks up. She peeks beyond the slim opening of the container...who is that. If only... she could open this box m--wait. She can just lower it. She clears her throat and does that. She smiles and---oh! "Oh! Togo-san!~" she says.

Then she pauses and blinks. "Oh. right. Um. I'm the magical girl with the seagull who loves cheeseburgers, do you remember!? Cure Gull!" she beams. "I actually just came for a visit with a close and dear friend in the tea garden. The visit is over and I still have some tea biscuits I baked!" she says. She offers the container over. "Here, have some with me!" she beams. The bisuits are round, seem flakier than they should be- not perfectly cooked and a little overdone but not by much- and have a dollop of red jam in the middle.

She beams and takes one for herself.%R"I baked them! I'm learning how to cook..."

She blushes a bit. "For reasons." she says.

"So, has everything been okay?..." she asks.

Mimori Togo has posed:
When she hears her name called so easily, Togo blinks in surprise. She didn't introduce herself yet, so how could this girl know her name? Well... perhaps it was through the Hero Club, since they had occasionally been in local papers. "Yes.. that's me. How can I help you?"

But then Haruna reveals her secrets, and Togo leans forward slightly, squinting hard as she peers at the girl's face. "The seagull.. oh. Oh!" Togo sits up straight again and clasps her hands together. "I didn't even recognize you! Oh my, now I'm so embarrassed..." She looks it, at least, glancing away for a moment. "Ah... I can't go calling you Cure Gull here, can I?"

Baked goods, however, are an entirely different thing from naming. The younger girl perks up slightly, reaching out to take one of them as it's offered. "Oh, you made these?" Upon hearing that the other girl is learning to cook, Togo suddenly adopts a more serious expression, looking the biscuit over in her hand. After she's had some time to examine it, she carefully takes a bite. "Mmm... and you're just learning, you said?" They're not perfect, but she knows how much effort it takes to perfect a recipe! "Reasons?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa winks~ "You could!" she says. "It's not a super secret I suppose, though since- well. Lots of people know. Even the badguys, ya know?" she says. "But you can call me Haruna Kurosawa!" she beams. She is enjoying her tea biscuit, that are more or less just very flaky cookies with a jam dollop in the end. "Yes I'm learning!" she beams. "I got a counter-top oven! My sister got me a portable cooking top, since we live in a dorm, so now I can learn in our little dorm!" she says.

"Erm--r-reasons, yeah. My... uh.... girlfriend really likes American Fare so I've been learning that, but she also wants things from this country too, so I've been working very hard! I should make you some--- 'Brunswick Stew' sometimes!" She says. "That's what she called it!" she beams.

"Did you know they put pineapple on pizza in America!?" she says slyly.

Regardless, she nods matter of factly. "S-sorry for catching you off guard though! Like I said. My... uh. Identity... isn't super secret, but yea you probably shouldn't call me that in public." she looks around.

"Word on the sly is that 'Masuko Miyo' has been harrasing people she thinks are magical girls. Right now it's silly because she's accusing normal people and it's silly to watch it on her vlog..." she giggles.

"But... eventually. She's gonna catch someone I'm sure who actually has a secret to keep!"

Mimori Togo has posed:
"Haruna-san, then. Even if a lot of people know, it would seem strange to call you something else when you're in your school uniform!" Togo pauses, giving said uniform a look-over. "Or... I'm not as familiar with the Infinity uniforms. Is it Haruna-senpai?" She wouldn't want to be rude, after all!

"Ah... with an oven that small, you need to adjust temperature and cook time. It doesn't heat the same way as a full-size conventional oven." She nibbles at the biscuit a bit more. "Oh... -that- sort of reasons..." Togo leans forward slightly, giving Haruna a sly grin. "You know, food always tastes better when the one who makes it puts their love into it! It doesn't matter what it is, the feelings of the cook come through."

Togo pauses, tilting her head slightly. "Brunswick stew... I... suppose I could try it." She wrinkles her nose slightly, though. "Western tastes always seemed so strange to me. Does pineapple really go with cheese and tomato and bread?"

Togo shakes her head, giving the older girl a smile. "No need to apologize. It was just a little surprising, is all!" She considers for a moment, then nods. "I think I've heard of her, though I hadn't paid her vlog much attention. I suppose I should change that sometime, hm?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa beams! "I'm in nineth grade. So-- barely-senpai!" she insists. "But you can call me whatever you're comfortable with, Togo-san!" she beams. Then she pauses and brings a finger to her lips as her expression softens. "Hey..."

"Togo-san. I don't know if this is a sore subject, but... I know some others in similar situations, a lot of them!" she says. "--and even then I feel kind of rude asking." she giggles. "Even though I don't mean harm-- but..."

"May I ask... why you're in a wheelchair...?" she asks politely as she can.

"I... feel strange asking this. My girlfriend said that I shouldn't feel ashamed of asking people why, just as long as I keep polite. She's blind, herself." she nods softly. "And it took me forever to finally ask her about it because I felt so mean asking!" she giggles widly.

"E..eh. You don't need to tell me if you don't want to though. Though... there is... a reason I'm asking I suppose..." she says a little more shyly.

Mimori Togo has posed:
Togo waggles a finger. "Tch, tch~ It wouldn't be proper for me to not call you senpai." She smiles pleasantly enough, though. "Mm?"

Given how Haruna starts out, it isn't hard for Togo to guess where the question is going... but by the look on her face, she certainly doesn't seem to mind being asked. "Ah.. no, I don't mind you asking at all, really." Togo reaches up to her hair, idly stroking the tail held by a green ribbon. "A little over two years ago, there was a car accident. I don't really remember a lot, though... I lost some memories, too... There isn't much I can recall from the last few months before I woke up after the accident, but I've needed this chair since." The melancholy expression on her face is only there briefly, but Togo is soon smiling again. "You know, I'd like to meet her sometime, if you don't mind!"

Patting her hair back into place, she glances up to Haruna. "Ah? What reason is that, Haruna-senpai?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa beams! "I'm sure Hannah-chan would like to meet you, too! She likes meeting others, usually. She's really personable." she smiles.

She head tilts. "So a car accident. Okay." she says with a frown. She shakes her head.

"There is. Someone in your grade who's come back after an accident... Minoke Sato. She used to be a gymnast, but-- now she's-- well. Confined to a wheelchair, her back is broken." she says softly.

"She feels lonely-- and-- I'm wondering if you could talk to her sometimes. It might help to know she isn't alone!" she beams. She doesn't go into the magical portion of Minoke's life. That's not her place--- she can spout her own secrets! Someone elses is another matter.

She laughs. "I have to introduce her to Hannah-chan , too. She's a fan! Hannah is Infinity's Iron Lily! She's brought the Kickboxing Club to nationals lots of time!" she smiles.

She head tilts. "But... yes. Minoke. I worry about her." she frowns. "She gets sad a lot. I think she feels lonely and... well..."

"Something like a burden...?" she asks.

Mimori Togo has posed:
"I would love to meet her, especially if she's as nice as you are." Togo presses her hands together again with a smile. That smile fades a bit, though, as the reason for the question comes up. "Oh, that... I see." She nods slowly, adopting a more serious expression. "I'd be glad to meet her sometime, Haruna-senpai. I remember being very depressed also, after the accident..." She glances down briefly, then looks up again. "It was Yuna-chan who reached out to me and helped me. I know it's very difficult to handle things like that on your own."

Togo shakes her head slowly. "I'll help as I'm able to. She might need her friends to help as well... I'm not quite as good at cheering people up as Yuna-chan is. But I can definitely try my best!"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa smiles! "I'm usually good at it, too... but. It's--- she didn't think I could relate I guess. I guess that's true. I've never been in a wheelchair." she looks down a bit. She looks up and smiles. "She has some friends. She just has trouble. She has me at least!" she nods rapidly.

"I /do/ know what it's like to not have friends though. So that's what I've been trying to get her to work on... making some friends." She smiles.

"Real friends won't care if... you're blind or in a wheelchair!" she beams. "Right?" she asks.

She places the container of cookies in Mimori's lap. "Here... you can take the rest, to share with your friends." she grins. "Besides, if I take em I'm just gonna eat em all myself like a pig~" she winks.

She taps her chin.

"Yuna-chan..." she doesn't know the name.

"How's Karin, by the way? I haven't seen her around. Which is sad because I've been asking some questions recently and she'd be able to answer them." she pouts.

Mimori Togo has posed:
"Ah, well... her situation does sound a little different than mine, but maybe she'll like talking with me." Togo glances down at her chair, resting one hand on the rim of a wheel. "It's been more than two years now. Sometimes I even forget I'm sitting in this." Her hands fold back in her lap, and she gives Harun a pleasant smile. "Of course they won't care. And if they do, then they're not very good friends, are they?"

Togo blinks in surprise as the container is dropped in her lap. "Ah? I suppose I could. Fu-senpai would vacuum these right up... But are you sure you don't want to bring any back for your girlfriend?"

A brief nod to the name. "I don't think you've met her. But Yuna-chan is my..." She pauses, considering what word to best use. "Yuna-chan is my very precious friend." There's a lot more to it than that, but it's really the best descriptor without having to go into great detail.

"Karin-chan has been very busy training lately. I think she'll be back in school soon, but for now... she needs some time to handle things, I think." Togo taps her chin thoughtfully. "I'm not sure if I'm able to answer your questions, but I can try?"

Haruna Kurosawa has posed:
Haruna Kurosawa grins. "I'll make a new batch for her- she wouldn't want these by the time I see her again anyays~" she beams. She head tilts--- Togo seems to be fumbling for words. She head tilts a little curiously at this, but it's not like Togo-san is acting odd fumbling for the words. 'Precious Friend'? It sounds like Togo wants to say something else. She doesn't immediatly go to the romantic terms in her head-- no, perhaps she wants to say sister.

Though, eventually, her brain does reach those thoughts and she blushes, but she clears her throat and it quickly dissapates. "Nope, I haven't meant any Yunas! I know a Yuko though!" she beams.

Oh then her Cure Line beeps. She looks around and pulls it out.

She talks into it.

"What?"

"The WHOLE thing!?"

"Ugh I'll need to buy more."

She shoves it back into her pocket.

"I need to go! I'm sorry! I need to detour now for some cooking supplies! Be well okay!?" she says to Togo-san before she skips away quickly, ack! Something happened- but it didn't sound serious!
