Cast of Characters: Hoshi Kogane, Ano Onna

Ano Onna has posed:
School is out for the afternoon throughout most of the city, by now. Though there are those who have cram school to start hitting, or club activities to head towards, some people are still more free than most, after a day of learning and knowledge.
Some people like the lone girl in the playground. She doesn't particularly look like she's waiting for anyone, and she sure isn't playing on the slides or anything. She's a bit too old for that, all things considered. Still, she's perched on top of one of the smaller jungle gyms, chin propped on one upturned palm as she drums fingers on her cheek, staring off through the distance as if good and lost in thought.
She's had a lot to think about over the past few days.

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
And some people are in clubs that have slightly different schedules from most clubs. Like Hoshi. She's walking towards the playground, a strange pair of five-pointed yellow stars circling around her head. One has a frowny face, the other has a smily face, they are orbiting exactly opposite eachother. The blonde girl approaches Ano, but doesn't quite notice her yet.

Ano Onna has posed:
Grandfather had always said that when troubled, to meditate, and cleanse the mind. Well meditation isn't coming so easily for That Girl as her thoughts wander. She silently ruminates on everything, replaying events over and over in her mind as burgundy eyes stare down at her open palm, gaze dragging downward along her arm to the slithering dragon tattoo creeping its way around her wrist, and all the way up to disappear under her sleeve. Interesting is one way to describe the last few days.
But she is torn from her reverie by someone on approach. The Girl, herself, is not quite that hard to miss, and the younger girl winding her way through the playground is practically on a course for her, but it's the twin stars that draw the regard of scarlet eyes a bit longer than what would be polite, without outright staring. Another magical girl, then, perhaps?
    "Yo."
She may as well attempt a greeting.

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
"Oh hello." Hoshi hides being startled pretty well, and the stars speed up their orbits before vanishing into thin air. "I didn't see you up there." She doesn't mention the obvious, that she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings. She looks up at the older girl, "Have we met? You don't seem familiar."

Ano Onna has posed:
"Nope." It's a pretty honest answer, although a little blunt. The two haven't met before, so the girl really has no need to pad or fluff her response beyond that. Though despite her seemingly laconic manner, the inquisitive tilt of her head indicates an obvious curiosity, once the stars up and vanish.
Shifting her seating a bit to lean back, she props herself up with one arm on a different bar upon her perch, lips pursing in a faint moue of thought. It's not long before she decides to be direct. It's just a lot easier that way.
    "What's with the stars?"

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
"They're my friends." Hoshi answers, and there's a bit of a raised eyebrow. Like that question raises questions of its own, "And you can see them, why?" She starts to climb up the gym to sit next to the other girl, looking down at the ground after. "I'm Hoshi Kogane, and you are?"

Ano Onna has posed:
"Yep." Another simple, straightforward answer. She can see them. Though as to the why there's a mild pause. And an uncomfortable shift right when asked who she is. But it lasts for only a moment before slim shoulders rise in a mild shrug. "Others can't?" An answer to that would explain a load of things, but she doesn't dwell on it for to long, simply shifting aside to let Hoshi have some space on top of the playground gym, to show she doesn't mind the company. No introduction. She doesn't give one, she kind of can't. She can only hope the extreme rudeness can be forgiven later.

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
"Some people can, most can't." Hoshi answers, right as a stern looking star stands atop of Hoshi's head, banging a tiny yellow lectern in front of it, and pointing at a yellow-ish whiteboard behind it, which has Hoshi written upon it. Apparently this star is not inclined to forgive Ano's rudeness. Hoshi doesn't bring it up again, though. "Tends to mean people have magic when they can see them."

Ano Onna has posed:
Okay, quite frankly, the star- cranky and stern as it looks- is kind of cute. It's a beat or so before the little thing's demand for propriety earns a slight smile forming on the dark-haired girl's lips. She does reach over, after a moment of thought, attempting to gently touch at the little thing, "Yeah." She admits after the attempt, for better or worse. "Magic. Kind of new to the whole thing." The Girl admits pretty openly, flopping onto her back across the bars and folding hands behind her head. "It's. Well, interesting is an understatement."
Now that she's speaking more than two words at a time, it's easy to notice she has something of an informal and boyish- maybe even macho manner to her tone. And still no introduction, despite the star's demand!

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
The cranky star doesn't seem to appreciate being touched, but Hoshi for her part can't help but giggle as it tries to push Ano's hand away... and fails to do so. It feels a little weird, it's clearly made out of magic. It leaves a little yellow trace on Ano's fingers upon contact, which will fade quickly enough.

"I'm kind of new too. I've got some friends, and I know they know more magical people, but I've not really gotten used to it. I want to help people, though." The girl's legs swing back and forth, just as another star appears floating in front of the two, this one holding a sword and a shield, using the latter to beat on the former.

Ano Onna has posed:
She takes a moment, rubbing the tips of her fingers at the glimmering magical residue left on them. Right up until the little thing displays its INTENSE HOT BLOOD with the sword upon shield display.
"Ah, lucky you." Mused with a light chuckle, still at the star's antics. "I can't say I've got a lot of friends- magic or not. Yet. I don't mind though. I guess I've got prettymuch the same reason though. Helping people, I mean."

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
"I'll be your friend, if you want me to." Hoshi offers, with no qualms, worries or fears. It's an offer that comes naturally to her, she smiles genuinely as she hands that offer out, too. The star behind the lectern takes the opportunity to point at the yellowboard and beat on his lectern again. The more martial star creeps up behind that star before poking it with the tip of the sword. The stern star turns around and points angrily, but it doesn't look like anything else will come from it.

Ano Onna has posed:
Now that has the girl sitting up a bit. The offer coming so earnestly, and so simply seems to have her attention pretty raptly. "Huh." She almost sounds a little surprised. But now her focus is more on Hoshi than the antics of the stars. There's a glance down at her own hand now, fingers curling and flexing for a moment, before she shifts to better face Hoshi. She's holding her hand out for a shake. It's easier to see the ornate tattoo decorating her right arm, now. A black Chinese dragon- matching the white one on her left arm. And that they both move, swirling and slithering with a life all their own, eyes intently staring at Hoshi and her stars.
    "I think I'd like that."

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
And thus hands are shaken, "I'll need something to call you, though. So if you don't give me anything soon I'll come up with something." The star at the lectern briefly smiles, a temporary celebration of victory, but pointing at the board again just to make sure. The martial star poofs into a puff of yellow smoke, vanishing entirely. "Up to you, I guess!"

Ano Onna has posed:
Eheh... Heh... There it is again. Something to call her. It seems to earn a small rumbling chuckle from the twin dragons, though it looks like they're not going to bail her out for the moment. "Afraid I can't give you anything there." She admits with something of a helpless shrug. "Tsukiko started calling me Fist-chan, though." She adds before flicking the dragon pair off her arms, the black and white serpentine creatures twisting and slithering in the air to form the kanji for Ken, or Fist, briefly, before retreating back to their roosts on her skin.

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
"Oh, so that's who you are!" Hoshi immediately seems to understand, apparently having heard about Fist-chan. "You're the girl who sold her name, right, Fist-chan?" The star behind the letter visibly gasps, but doesn't have anything else to say about that. "I'll go with Fist-chan too, then. It's something."

Ano Onna has posed:
Yep! That's who she is! The fact that apparently people have already heard of her earns a look of bafflement, as she rubs one hand at the back of her neck. "... Oh huh."
Wow, word travels fast. "Yeah, it's something." She agrees. Better than stone silence, anyway. So once again she flops back, now folding her hands together behind her head as she looks up to the sky. "It's not like I needed it, at the time. So why not."

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
Another star appears, paging through a book titled 'It Seemed Like a Good Idea At the Time.' Hoshi, if she notices it, does not bother to mention it. Or perhaps actively avoids mentioning it. "If you need someone to talk to, Fist-Chan, or someone to help you with something, let me know." She gets out her own notebook and a pen, scribbling down a number and handing it to that girl. "My number."

Ano Onna has posed:
The title of that book earns a rather large bead of sweat running down the side of That Girl's brow. Well. The title is pretty relevant. But she doesn't bring it up, either. When the slip of paper with Hoshi's number is provifed. she takes it gingerly, burgundy eyes flitting over the number, before tugging her phone from the pocket of her skirt, and starting to enter it in. Thumbing the screen a few more times flings a quick text right to the number as a confirmation- and to fire her own number to Hoshi in the same, maneuver. "Hey. Thanks. Might take me a bit, but I'll try and get to used to all this mess. Until then take good care of me, yeah?"

Hoshi Kogane has posed:
Hoshi pulls out her brand new iPhone, the latest model, and checks the text, then adds Fist-chan to her contacts list. "I'll try." She promises the older girl, the star behind the lectern giving an approving nod. Hoshi looks at the sky, and sighs a little worriedly. "I'll try to get used to it, too. Good luck."
