In day-to-day OOC conversation, the discussion of other online RPGs may come up. This is acceptable, as long as this discussion is kept respectful of other places to roleplay, their players, and their staff. Even if other games and the people on them are not mentioned by name, badmouthing or unkindly judging them can be very uncomfortable or damaging to your fellow players, as they might know or be friends with the people being discussed, or have good memories of those places.

MUSHing is a small hobby, and some of you may take notice of, or remember, events or actions elseMU* that cause you concern; some of you may see players here that you've met elsewhere whose presence is worrisome to you. If that is the case, please page a member of staff with your concerns or fears, and we will do our best to allay them or watch for a recurrence of the behaviors in question, but do not take those concerns to the playerbase.

The policies of MahouMUSH (see +news Behavior or http://www.mahoumush.com/Behavior) expressly prohibit players from publically or privately insulting other players, starting campaigns against them, or otherwise attempting to out someone's alts or damage their reputation here. This game is a new beginning for everyone, and no one should be judged for things they may or may not have done somewhere else.

If someone asks, politely, that the topic of elseMU* players or events or policies be dropped, please respect the request. If someone does not respect a request to do so, do not be afraid to involve staff: we don't bite even if the rules are broken, and only wish to provide a safe and comfortable environment for everyone who plays here.
