Something Special 'Bout Six O'Clock
Date of Scene: 08 July 2016
Location: Telephones
Synopsis: 6 AM, and no Naru. Hannah gives Kunzite a call, and word begins to be passed...
Cast of Characters: Hannah Sharpe, Kunzite, Usagi Tsukino

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Riiiing riiiiiing. Kerclick! "Yo, Kunz! It's six a.m., and I'm missing short and wimpy! What's the deal!? I thought she was up for this! You know her better, she really the type to flake that hard?" Annoyance reigns in her voice.

Kunzite has posed:
Kunzite answers promptly, sounding coherent and awake. At six in the morning. "No, she's not. She wasn't answering texts last night, either, despite having outstanding questions for me. I did a visual check then, and she appeared to be home and safe." Translation: he went over and spied on her. Can't take the stalker out of the ... whatever.

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
Hannah gives a sudden grunt, annoyance fades into concern. "That's what I thought. She didn't feel like the type. So, she goes from 'vaguely enthusiastic' about the whole thing, to cutting off contact from people and not showing up to her engagements. Glad she's okay, but..." Sigh. "What happened between the Crown and this morning? Did you sense any magic on her? Maybe I'm paranoid, but given all the trouble she gets into...well, a Witch Kiss can bring on symptoms like that."

Kunzite has posed:
"The Crown was ... thirty-six hours ago, give or take. I presume she arrived on time yesterday; she sent me the expected lament over her terribly difficult life. No questions from any of her classmates, so likely she made it to school. Yesterday evening she'd gone silent. So. Yesterday afternoon, then."

"I didn't get close enough last night to check her for extraneous energies. Though -- mn. First time I've seen her watching video without either homework or a notebook to keep her occupied."

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
"Yup. That's the /weird/ thing. She did pretty good, I didn't think I'd killed her that hard. Well, whatever it is, keep an eye on her. I'll try to crash in on her soon, see if I can't get a read on whatever's up with her. Talk with Usagi and Mamoru for me? Anybody who'd know where she might've been. I'll work on the magic angle. Bet a tenner she got nabbed by something or someone, then we figure out how to break her out of it."

Kunzite has posed:
"I'll leave word. The people closest to her won't be up for a little yet."

Hannah Sharpe has posed:
"Knew I could count on you, Kunzite. Can't let my new pupil die until I've killed her myself~. Take care, call me if anything else comes up. I'll buy you dinner some for all of this."

Kunzite has posed:
"It's in all our best interest to time the exhausted corpses properly."

When Usagi Tsukino wakes, or at least when she emerges from her frantic morning rush enough to check messages, there is a text waiting for her. Naru stopped responding to text messages last night, and missed a meeting this morning. Could you check on her at school?

(Naru, of course, never makes it to school to be checked on.)
