Haruna hadn't had this nightmare for a while. It was really all of the same to her in her head.

It was transitioning doors. She's speaking to the fire department chief about how they couldn't find any sign of Aki after days and were positive she'd perished in the fire. She could feel her heart sink. She was gone and there was nothing she or they could do. There was that faint hope that- she might turn up hurt somewhere but Haruna knew something awful had happened deep inside her. Something broke and she felt it break again and again everytime in that nightmare.....

She'd walk up slowly and walk through the door of the fire department chief's office and into a completely different room. A grand hall, a token memorial service her parents held--- it was /months/ after- hardly timely. She did not like her parents. She barely remembers how the room looked. She knew exactly how that floor looked though. She could make out malevolent smiling faces in the wood grain, a trick of the mind of course. She tried to talk to her parents but they were already turning and walking away the moment it ended. It always made her feel worthless. She was alone...

The next door always led to an empty, dark dorm where she hid from everyone and everything not during school hours....

Tonight it did not- no, it led to somewhere worse.

She stepped from the doorway onto the top of a roof-- there was no door behind her. It was raining very familiar black feathers. Her eyes went wide. She knew this moment in time. It hit her like a sack of cement, in the gut- a fiery cold burn. The feeling she felt when her very being was rendered in two. She fell to her knees---- shadows began forming up around her taking shape....

'Such a worthless sister- I have no clue why Aki would had wanted to be partners with such a wretch...!' said a Blue-sama like silhouette.

'Why would I help such a worthless commoner as yourself!?' said a Tadase-like shadow.

'I can't believe I wasted all that time for this thing!' said a Hannah-like shade.

'Whelp, good luck with that.' said a Tsukasa-sensei like mass of feathers.

'I think I should just kill you and take the energy instead, that's more useful.' said a Runealy like mass of black.

'Want me to punch it until it stops crying?' asked a Sailor Jupiter swirl of black roses.

'...or light it on fire? That seems more interesting.' asked a Sailor Mars swirl of glistening dark fire.

'That sounds fun!' said a shadowy Cure Sunny.

'Let's bash it instead until it goes away!' said a lurching black Cure Boost.

'Your heart is like a piece of junk. Dunno why I ever believed in /this/ thing.' says a tiny shadowy Procyon, throwing a cartoonish seafoam green heart over his shoulder. There was a glass crash afterwards.

Then there was that familiar feeling of a cape being draped over her. Only this time it didn't slow down whatever was happening to her, it sped it up---she felt sick inside- and strange and dark and like....Scorn....then she fell into the cape and began to feel like she was falling...

She came to an abrupt stop on purple ground, with a craggy, gravely feel to it. She managed to weakly pull herself up. There were mirrors everywhere. Very familiar coffin shaped mirrors, and craggy outcroppings of purple crystal. All the mirrors were filled with a black- moving substance, she could see her reflection like one would expect to see on a window looking out into the pitch black of a night. She looked normal, and distressed in one, looked like Scorn in another, looked like her older self with the black feather hairclip, like her younger self when Aki was still alive and her hair was more messy. She began to cautiously walk along. She felt so cold. The longer she walked along- the more she began to suspect she belonged here....

It's where worthless Pretty Cures ended up.... right?

She'd expected... someone to show up. Phantom. Oresky... someone like that. Maybe even what she expected Queen Mirage to look like in her minds eyes- as she'd never seen her- but there was no one. Just silence- and wind...

Some sort of demonic, skeletal hand lurched from a mirror in front of her, grabbing around her and beginning to drag her towards the mirror it'd extended from. She didn't act surprised. No. It's like she expected it. She /wanted it/. She belonged here. Aki never did... she /always/ did. She should had never risked the lives of her friends coming here to save Aki.. she should had come alone and /exchanged herself/.

--and just as she could feel her face hit the icy cold surface of the twisted mirror.....

She woke up with a start at the feeling of a cold hand resting against her head. Her eyes focusing on the ceiling. She looked up at Aki who removed her hand. "You're running a low fever it feels like, Haruna. You feeling okay? Lemme get you some medicine. You were trashing around there for a few moments." Aki said as she walked off towards the bathroom. Haruna sat up in the bed and sort of lurched forward....

"Yeah...just a nightmare... I think I'll be okay..." she lied. She just looked down a bit. No... that.. she couldn't just do that after all this time...

"Aki....can we talk....?" she finally asked gripping her blanket tightly, doing her best not to hide underneath it.
