Limits
Limits and Closing Characters
Everyone can play up to four (4) CCs, and can app as many OCs as they think they can handle. Additionally, you may only app one character into a given theme at a time. An exception might be made for exceptionally expansive themes or franchises, such as Pretty Cure where alt interaction won’t become a potential problem. (For example, you can app Cure Black and Eas, but you can’t app Cure Black and Pisard.)
We will accept up to two apps from a single player within a 14 day period. HOWEVER, of these two apps within the 14 day period, we will accept only one CC and one OC.
IN LAYMAN'S TERMS: You are welcome to submit up to two apps for consideration. One of these apps must be an Original Character, while one of these apps must be a Canon Character. If we accept your Original Character, you must wait 14 days to apply for a new OC, but you can apply for a Canon Character immediately. The same holds true in reverse.
Please wait for a week before asking staff about the status of your application!
Currently existing Canon Characters will immediately close when an approvable app is received. In cases where entirely new casts become available for application - for example, at the conclusion of a new series - the three-day closing period will be in effect for the first month after they become eligible for application.
In the event that two (or more) apps are sent in at the same time for the same character, a closing period will happen in which everyone involved will get some extra time to refine their apps. A winning application will be chosen after a three day period.
If two OC concepts of a similar nature come in (For example, two themes about ‘Reborn Samurai Warriors’), we will try to suggest these people work together to create a new, single theme instead of two separate themes about a similar concept, or urge the new appers to app into the current similar theme.
While there are not activity limits for OCs, CCs must be active at least twice a month, and if tied closely to another CC, are expected to help facilitate RP with their partner CC. If you fail to scene for two months straight, or fail to facilitate RP with partners/castmembers on a regular basis, you may be asked about your activity if you're available for discussion. Regardless, unless a suitable explanation can be provided for the inactivity, your CC Charbit may be taken, and re-opened for applications by staff.
Any part of this policy may be waived or modified, at staff’s discretion, particularly during the first months of opening, on a global basis. (Staff will never apply special application rules to only portions of the player base at a time.) Any changes will be publicly announced.
