Profile
Hiroshi Takeba is a fifty-something widowed middle manager, growing steadily more gray with slowly less hair. As befits this position, he works far too much and spends most of his nominally free time dealing with his coworkers. Since the not-entirely-welcome return, after a several-year absence, of his (in Hiroshi's opinion) delinquent son Kazuo, Hiroshi has also spent a fair amount of his nominally free time in the company of teenagers. This would be bad enough in itself. But those teenagers are overtly magical, and while Hiroshi once might have had that capacity himself, during the intervening decades it's withered to the same stale and regimented gray as the rest of his life. Whether this will lead somewhere good or somewhere terrible remains to be seen.
